“Wasn’t he just seven?” Buck asks.

“Yeah,” Eddie sighs. “You know, the other day I told him to go to bed, and by the time I looked in, he was already asleep. Just put himself to bed, didn’t wait for me to tuck him in or say good night or anything.”

“Wow,” Buck says. “Everyone’s always saying they grow up so fast, but—”

“Yeah,” Eddie says. “Blink and you’ll miss it.”

“At least we’re not missing this,” Buck says and nods over to where Christopher is. Eddie turns to see Christopher approaching a girl—Katie—awkwardness etched into his every movement.

“Oh, no,” Eddie whispers. “Oh, he has no game.”

“None at all,” Buck confirms, grinning. “I guess at least you have something left to teach him.”

“You saying I have game, Buckley?” Eddie asks, and Buck makes a noise that sounds like he’s choking on his own tongue.

“Um,” Buck says, the tips of his ears turning pink. “I just mean—you have a kid, I assume you needed some kind of game to produce him.”

“You don’t need that much game when you’re hot in high school,” Eddie shrugs. “I figured you’d know that.”

Buck frowns at him. “What makes you think I was hot in high school?”

Eddie raises an eyebrow. “Weren’t you?”

“You tell me,” Buck grins. “I’ve pretty much looked the same since I was sixteen.”

“So, yeah,” Eddie says, then registers Buck’s surprised look. “I mean, uh—you know you’re hot, right? Just, like. Objectively.”

Schedule wise, it worked out great. Buck was busy learning the complicated character twists of act two— apparently he played two characters in the ballet but Eddie didn’t quite fully understand— so they wouldn’t have been able to see much of each other anyway.

But that didn’t mean that Eddie’s skin wasn’t buzzing with need every time Buck sent him a text to add to his “spank bank support fund”. Buck's words, not Eddie's.

He really should’ve known better.

Not only was Buck a kind, talented, graceful human being but he was also a wicked flirt and a goddamn tease.

Warnings: Reader has a panic attack, mentions of fire but other then that just a cute starstruck Eddie Diaz.

"hey listen fireboy, I'm not having a panic attack okay, It's my chest."

"I know it's your chest but it's probably the stress that must have gotten to you." Eddie hushed, putting his stethoscope back around his neck. "Just take a deep breath for me, okay." He said softly, placing his hand on your shoulder. You did as he told you, seeing no point in further arguing with the firefighter in front of you.

It was your big finale day. The dance competition you had been training for for over 5 months now. And just when you were about to enter the stage a big fire took over the building. You weren't harmed and managed to escape without a scratch but the shock still waved over you as an unexpected storm. The 118 was called and the firefighters got control over the fire. After bringing everyone to safety and clearing the scene, Eddie did a final check up, noticing you sitting with a bottle of water next to the ambulance.

Your breathing got cut short, your chest got heavy and your airways tightened with each breath you took, thinking back at the horrible scene.

"That's good, now try to focus on your breathing for a while." The Diaz praised, shining his flashlight in your eyes. "Your eyes are good and after hearing you escaped the fire, I don't think we should worry too much but I do wanna take you to the hospital just to be sure. Is that alright?"

You nodded, holding the oxygen mask he gave you close to your face. "So it's not from the smoke that my chest hurts?"

"No, probably from the shock. You never experienced panic attacks before?" He asked.

"Not anything like this, no."

"Well you're doing amazing Y/n."

Him mentioning your name made you smile. It felt right hearing it from his lips. "What's your name? I can't keep saying fireboy." You teased.

"Eddie Diaz at your service." He winked, chuckling as you let out a laugh. "Where you here to dance?"

"Yes, I was about to enter the last round before the fire broke out. Not that I had any chance of winning this one."

"Hey don't say that." He protested. "You don't know that. I bet you are a great dancer." You got flustered at the compliment almost having another panic attack just by his charming way of flirting. "I would love to see you dance someday."

You smiled at his sneaky attempt to ask you out. "I'm having a show next week. I can get you a ticket if you'd like."

"That would be an honour."

I'm SO in love with dancer!Eddie and need ALL the headcanons/scenarios.

Eddie teaching the entire firearm (including their loved ones) how to line dance and the cha-cha and like all the group dances?? PLEASE. The complete and utter hilarity and serotonin this would bring me. It's such a mighty it's unreal.

But then Eddie teaching Buck how to slow dance?? IN THEIR KITCHEN?? I'm literally screaming by just imagining it 😭😭😍😍 Eddie teaching Buck how to dance has not left my mind since the episode. Like it's always be something I've wanted but now that it's canon that Eddie is a self-proclaimed "great dancer"?? The need for this has skyrocketed.

AND THEIR WEDDING DANCE??

"Eddie "I'm a great dancer" Diaz being grace on legs during their wedding dance practice while Buck is Bambi personified" I'M WHEEZING 😂😂 This is so accurate though and my goodness just the mere thought is giving me all the warmth and fuzzies. At that point they are both already used to dancing with each other (thanks to Eddie's many previous dance lessons/some date nights) so Eddie knows how to deal with Buck's Bambi legs and Buck finds following Eddie's lead -like all the other aspects of their life- as easy as breathing. But the real problem during these dance lessons is actually getting through one without them getting caught in the feel of the other, in their loving gazes, and having a... ahem romantic interlude in the middle 😉😏

But somehow they've manages to be able to practice enough that when their beautiful wedding day is finally there, they're ready. That is, until Buck realizes that it's not just him and Eddie in the privacy of their home and kitchen but in front of every single important person in their lives. Only, when Buck's anxiety starts to spike, Eddie gently places his hand on Buck's face and tells him, "Just focus on me and follow my lead. I got you. Always remember?"

And then suddenly Buck start to feel calm again, safe. Because he's in front every single person who he loves and in the arms of the love of his life. This is his safe place. And so they start to dance together, a symbolism of the two of them dancing their way through life together, hand in hand, having each other's backs, perfectly in sync as always on the dance floor. And Buck for yet again feels like he lucked out by marrying such a great dancer who can move.

(Anyways, I need all the dancer!Eddie headcanons please and thank you)

it's not Sunday and these are not the last lines I wrote but I'm posting them anyway! from the baseball au

The way he says Bobby’s name so casually, like he’s already a part of the team, makes Buck see red. “Thanks,” he bites out.

He shoves his baseball cap on his head and leaves.

The underground hallways are always cold, but Buck doesn’t feel it as he makes his way to the field. He kind of wants to scream, because yeah, he knows that Eddie’s hot and competent, but his return to the game is the only thing they’ll be talking about on the post game segment for weeks and it’s just not fair.

He exits the tunnel and when he feels the sun on his face, he can breathe. This feeling, the one he gets every time he steps out on the diamond, it never gets old. This is what Eddie must not get, because if he did, he never would have left the game in the first place.

Buck takes a breath. So what if everyone else thinks Eddie’s great. He still gets to have this. Eddie fucking Diaz doesn’t get to take this from him, even if he’s probably going to win over the fans and the rest of the team with one dazzling smile. Hell, maybe they’ll trade Buck now that he’s not shiny and new. It doesn’t matter. He still gets this.

I knew this was coming and I am PREPARED. (sorry for the late answers I have an exam on Tuesday that I’m procrastinating). Also tagging @bibuddie because she also asked the same thing!

Anyway:

Why I like them: Eddie constantly tries to do the right thing, and when he realizes that what he thought was right isn’t actually, he actively tries to work on himself. He’s steadfast, loyal and dependable, and I love that about him. And he’s a dad to the cutest person in the world!

Why I don’t like them: I don’t have a reason not to like him, but I don’t like the way he internalizes and then lashes out when he feels backed into a corner, just because that trope is one that we see in all men on TV. However, he does go to work those things out, and I loved see that, because that’s the type of growth I like seeing.

Favourite episode: Honestly? As cliche as this is, 3x15. I loved seeing his past and seeing the things that shaped his character. While 3x15 did leave me with more questions than answers, I still say it was wonderful to give us that much into his life.

Other than that, 2x10′s fountain scene because he’s so unsure and defensive about trusting Buck but Buck is his regular, steady self and Eddie ends up spilling what’s up. I think that was a great thing to see that he’s found himself someone to confide in.

Favourite season: Hm...Well in season 3, I think we saw a lot of development in his character. In season 2, we didn’t see as many emotions from him but season 3 was a whole rollercoaster. So aside from the god-awful haircut, season 3 lmao.

Favourite line: “Buck, there’s nobody in this world I trust with my son more than you.”

Okay and I know this could be because of the Buddie shipper thing but I think that comes secondary to just...Eddie in general. Like...Christopher is the thing his world revolves around, and for him to entrust that in his best friend, I think it says as much about Eddie that it does about Buck. (and then their relationship, too).

Also equal to that is “You’re not just any kid. You’re my kid and I love you more than anything else in this world.”

I died when he said that because he’s such a good dad.

Favourite outfit: You of all people shouldn’t have to ask. Also. Two vantage points because I’m nice like that.

OTP: ...do you really need to ask. It’s him and Buck! They stay winning!

BroTP: okay but I think Eddie and Karen would wreak havoc but also Chim and Eddie would be such a great pair because they both could get up to shit and no one would really suspect them working together. But above all, Chris and Eddie are just. *chef’s kiss*

Headcanon: Man...I have so many for Eddie. I do headcanon that he’s a book nerd (like yours truly) and maybe also a dancer. Also, the way that he rifled through those engines on two separate occasions has me thinking that he’s great at mechanical work. Maybe it could’ve been one of those three jobs.

Unpopular opinion: his hair doesn’t count I don’t think xD Hm...I don’t think for one moment that Eddie’s huge on PDA? if that counts. But that’s more of a fic thing...

another (nsfw) one is that he’s always the top, like...no.

A wish: I was just telling @oneawkwardcookie this but I wish we got to see the photos on his fireplace mantle. I gotta know. ALSO BRING BACK THIS FLANNEL (and hair ahem). And tell me what jobs my good sir be working — bring me that resume.

Also...we don’t need to put the Diaz family through any more pain than they’ve already been through just let them be happy now, jeez.

Tales of Artemisa, Episode 1: Finding Love

One night in the forest, a mother was telling a story about a girl who came from the moon and her daughter asked:

- Mom, is she a member of our family?

- No, darling. She's just a character in the story. - the mother replied

- Mom, why does our family have Lunarkinesis*?

- Well, darling. The patriarch of our family has Lunarkinesis and also Long’s family has Lunakinesis.

The Longs are japanese family that have Lunarkinesis and they are famous in Japan for making nighttime spectacular shows with fireworks and create illusions and they participate battles to save on Japan, but year 1941 japanese people attack Pearl Harbor means that USA declares war against Japan. For run away from war, Longs go to USA in hiding on big circus.

In big circus, Longs do the same things that in Japan and the viewers love their performances and Longs are third family in the circus. The second family in the circus are Galochios and the first family are Aquatos.

Chibiusa Long and Ramone who is viewer of circus fell in love and became boyfriends. The family of Ramone accept their relationship but Chibiusa’s father says no using her psyhic powers to him and his family, Chibiusa accepts the idea.

They get married and they have 3 children and one of them is Lucine Long who in future marries with Eddie Murphy.

(Someone knocks on the door)

- Is your dad.

(She opens the door)

- Hello, honey!! - says Eddie and he kisses her

- Hello, daddy!!

- Hi, my moon girl!!! How are you, darling!

- I’m fine, daddy!

Eddie Murphy is a psychonaut like his family. Murphys are famous and powerful psychonauts since foundation of Psychonauts. Unfortunately, Eileen Murphy and Marlin Diaz Murphy who are Eddie's parents suffer such a powerful attack that they become mentally ill. Each year, they worse their health so that Eddie and his family do not visit anymore, leaving their daughter very sad and determined to become more powerful so she heals their paternal grandparents.

- How was your day? - Lucine asks to her husband

- I save more lifes today - Eddie replies

- I have a great news!! Our daughter is sent to Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp!

- What is Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp? - Eddie’s daughters asks

- Is a camp for children with psyhic powers like you. - Lucine replies

- For they trained you to become a psychonaut.

- Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Will be great!!

- It's good that you're happy.

They kiss her daughter’s cheeks.

Lucine and Eddie’s daughter is Artemisa Long. At age 6, she went to Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp and she shows that she has Lunarkinesis, Telekinesis and Levitation. Artemisa shows be powerful psyhic and everyone think that she will be intern of Psychonauts, but she will want be a acrobat and dancer when she grow up. When she getting older, she isn’t go to Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp because she is old go there.

Artemisa’s family move a lot and go to in forest. Artemisa has habit that is doing acrobatics and dancing on night of forest. But one night when she was dancing, she hear sounds of steps and she tries run away by acrobatics of trees but she is caught.

.- Very well. Was caught. - says Artemisa

When she turned back, she saw a handsome boy that they fell in love with each other.

*Lunarkinesis is power that manipulates moon
