Emilia Castañeda Martínez is a Spanish painter and illustrator. In the early 70's she finished her training and has devoted herself entirely to painting ever since.

Her subject matter focuses on the nude figure, among other figurative themes, with an atmospheric style.

She works mainly in oil, pastel and watercolor. Part of her work contains a strong erotic charge, which is why some art galleries have unfortunately refused to exhibit her wonderful paintings.

However, I believe that many artists and painters can represent a nude through art, but I believe that few can make eroticism be seen in an ethereal and subtle way, and I think Emilia Castañeda hit the nail on the head.

What is art for if not to share it?
