Serin still had no clue why Yoonji was asking her to do this. Her friend continued talking.

"You've known Kangmin the longest out of the others and I know you have no plans tomorrow."

"How do you know I don't have something else to do or with someone else?"

"You're ignoring Dongheon, you caught up on all your school assignments already, and were just planning to binge watch Psychic Princess and some other anime show."

"Wow and I'm not ignoring Dongheon. I've been busy."

"Mmhmm. Right, sure you are."

"I am."

"Yeah, anyways, I really want to go on a date with Hoyoung without my little brother tailing us like in our previous dates."

Serin chuckled knowing how much Kangmin worried for Yoonji before responding.

"Yoonji, just tell Kangmin to stop spying on y'all and to let you enjoy your date with Hoyoung."

Serin then made a face.

"Besides, I don't wanna go on a date with Kangmin. He's like a little brother to me. Why not ask the others to do it?"

"They're all busy tomorrow with their own plans and like I said earlier, you're the only one that doesn't have anything to do tomorrow."

Yoonji pleaded with puppy eyes.

"Please, Serin. I'll buy you a month's worth of bubble tea and sweets!"

Serin wasn't budging.

"Two month's worth of bubble tea and sweets."

Yoonji stepped up a notch as her puppy eyes were matched with pouting lips.

"Oh, no, Yoonji, please. Not that face. Ugh, just stop making that face. It's not a good look for you. Please stop."

Serin pushed her friend's face away from her while reluctantly giving in.

"Fine. I'll do it since you're my friend and you're begging super hard for this."

"Thank you so much, Serin!"

Yoonji leaned over the table to pull Serin in for a big hug.

"You're a lifesaver!"

"Yeah, yeah."

Serin patted her friend before pulling away.

"I still expect two month's worth of sweets and bubble tea though."

"Of course!"

The one official couple and the second unofficial couple arrived at Everland for their double date in the late afternoon. Hoyoung decided to pay for all four of them, which Serin said he didn’t have to, but he insisted as a 'thank you' of sorts. Serin knew how much of a big 'thank you' it was. Anyways, Yoonji clung to Hoyoung’s arm and excitedly.

"So, Hoyoung, what do you want to do?"

Hoyoung cast his girlfriend a smile with a cheerful laugh.

"Anything that you want to do, Yoonji."

"I want to see the four seasons garden then!"

"Let's go."

Yoonji faced her friend and brother.

"Hoyoung and I are gonna ride the Festival Train in European Adventure. You guys have fun on your own date!"

Yoonji happily pulled Hoyoung in their direction. Serin waved them off before casting her gaze onto the younger male.

"Alright, Kangmin. What do you want to do to kill time?"

Kangmin stared after his sister and her boyfriend with a hard look.

"When it's a double date, aren't both couples supposed to hang out together doing the same things?"

Yoonji just shook her head at her friend’s words and asked Daehyun, “So, what do you want to do to kill time?”

Kangmin wondered out loud more to himself than towards Serin. He mischievously peered over at Serin.

"Let's go on the Festival Train ride, too, Serin."

Serin quickly grabbed a hold of Kangmin's arm before he could follow after his sister and her boyfriend.

"C'mon, Kangmin. Let Yoonji and Hoyoung enjoy their date without you bothering them."

She eyed him with a firm look.

"Besides, she can take care of herself and Hoyoung treats her really well. Just trust them to do their own couple things and just be an annoying little brother instead of a protective brother."

Serin led the two of them towards American Adventure to put distance between them and the couple.

"But what if he ends up breaking my sister's heart? She'll end up crying herself to sleep every night until she finds another guy to latch onto. I’m her brother and I need to protect her from that kind of heartbreak."

Kangmin tried to shake himself free of Serin’s hold on him, but she still held on. Serin rolled her eyes while keeping a firm grip on Kangmin's arms.

"I know you're only trying to protect her, but you can't always and need to let things be. Besides, I'm sure she would rather be dealing with a little brother that makes fun of her and teases her instead of bothering her on her dates."

Somehow Serin was able to lead the two of them onto the Rolling-X Train ride without Kangmin noticing until they were situated in place.

"Wait. What are we riding?"

Kangmin looked around his surroundings.

"The Rolling-X Train."

Soon the ride took off as they both felt the rush of air pass alongside them as they screamed excitedly having forgotten why they were there in the first place. Once the ride was over, Kangmin pulled Serin to join him on the other rides all within American Adventure. Serin knew that he had at least forgotten about his worries with his sister and was enjoying himself instead. Some time later the pair were resting at the Global Fair, a section for visitors to grab something to eat, take various pictures, and buy souvenirs. Serin had purchased two water bottles and handed one to Kangin which he chugged down within seconds. She gave him the second one as he pressed it against his face to cool himself down.

"Do you wanna eat something?" Serin asked with a concerned tone.

Kangmin shook his head as he continued to rest. Serin glanced around her and noticed that the sun had begun setting.

"Are you sure you don't want to eat something?"

Kangmin nodded again.

"Okay. Then do you want a different cold drink to help you?"

"That'll be great. Please?"

“All right. Just stay here and rest up.”

Kangmin nodded as Serin smiled while patting his back before making her way back to the food stall to buy a slushie for the male and herself. Once she returned to where Kangmin should've been resting, she found it empty, and shook her head about getting tricked by Kangmin.

"Tch. That boy. Well, sorry, Yoonji. I did my best."

Serin turned around and slightly bumped into another person. Just as she was in the midst of apologizing, she stopped.

"Sor-Dongheon?"

"Hi." Dongheon greeted her with a bright smile.

"Uh, hi. What are you doing here?"

"Enjoying a fun day at Everland. What about you?"

She didn't want to tell him she was on a double date with her friend's little brother. Then again, it wasn't like she and Dongheon were in any sort of relationship either. Right?

"The same, but it seems the person I was supposed to watch ran off. Anyways, here you go and bye."

Serin thrust the other drink into his hands before turning away and walking off in a random direction.

"Hey, wait. Serin."

Dongheon caught up to Serin and matched her pace. Serin briefly glanced at him, but remained silent and faced forward wondering where she wanted to go. She knew that she wouldn't be able to outrun Dongheon as she didn't feel like running about the place to shake him off her trail. So she left Global Fair with Dongheon still attached alongside her and wandered around Everland before deciding to go to Zootopia to explore the Safari World. Even though she grew curious about the male that continued to tag along, not saying anything to her. He kept on flashing her a bright smile every time she peered at him.

"Are you just gonna follow me around?"

"I'm not following you." He countered with another flash of a smile.

"We just happen to be heading in the same direction."

"Right."

Serin made her way to the safari bus, stepped onto it, \found an empty seat, and waited for the tour to start. Dongheon happened to take the seat right next to her and she eyed him.

"Really?"

"What? I just happened to wanna see the animals, too."

Dongheon feigned innocence although Serin could tell that his eyes stated otherwise.

"I just realized I need to use the toilet."

She immediately stood, moved past him, and hurried off the bus. Serin made a mad dash towards another attraction in hopes that Dongheon hadn't caught on that she basically ditched the bus ride. She arrived in the line of the Amazon Express, a raft ride, and was relieved to know that there weren't that many people wanting to ride the attraction. Serin happily got into one of the empty seats in the front, but her smile soon turned into a frown when she turned to see who the person was that took the other empty seat next to her.

"Can you stop following me? It's creepy."

Dongheon scoffed as he caught his breath.

"We know each other. How is that creepy?"

"Because you keep chasing me."

"I thought that's what you wanted, right?"

He cast her a mischievous smile as Serin avoided his gaze.

"Whatever."

Dongheon laughed at her reaction while gazing out the window at the dusky sky.

"I just think you've been avoiding me, Serin."

She scoffed and turned away.

"Not at all, Dongheon."

Soon the worker barred them all in,went over to his control board, and operated the buttons to begin the ride. A majority of the passengers got splashed and that included the pair. Serin knew she would get wet, but she didn't think she'd get that wet. Once the ride was over and the pair got off, Serin tried drying her hair and clothes. She really didn't want to get sick as she noticed that night would soon fall. Serin began walking to get the blood flowing just as her phone rang. She pulled out her mobile device from her tote bag and noticed it was Yoonji.

"Hi."

After talking with her friend, Serin learned that Yoonji, Hoyoung, and Kangmin had already left for home despite them supposed to meet up at the carousel in Magic Land. Her friend told her that Kangmin told her that Dongheon came up to him and told him that he would take Serin home and for Kangmin to rest up as he was feeling woozy. At least Serin knew that Kangmin didn't run off to bother his sister on his own accord, but because of Dongheon.

"I'm glad the date went well and have a good night. See you on Monday. Buh-bye."

Serin hung up, put her phone away, ran a hand through her slightly damped hair, and let out a yawn. She hadn't realized how drained she felt and assumed it was due to being out and about under the sun for a few hours. Taking a few steps forward, Serin stumbled due to her tiredness. Dongheon caught a hold of her and she temporarily forgot that he was still around.

"Uh, thanks."

"Are you okay?" He asked, worried.

"I'm just tired."

Before Serin could process what Dongheon was about to do, he quickly lifted her up bridal-style and carried her to an empty bench. He gently placed her down, but Serin was still in shock, unable to respond. Dongheon crouched down to observe her.

"Serin?"

"Hmm?"

She glanced at him, a bit dazed. Dongheon chuckled softly before turning around so that his back was facing her instead.

"Get on."

Serin obeyed as she leaned forward, placing her arms around his shoulders, and Dongheon did the rest while hooking his arms around her thigh for a piggy back ride. He slowly stood up right and re-adjusted Serin so that they were both comfortable.

"Ready to go?" He asked.

"Mmhmm." She hummed softly.

"Okay. Let's go home."

Dongheon began walking and Serin held herself securely on his back. She whispered a soft 'thank you' against his ear as Dongheon told her 'you're welcome' with a bright smile before speaking in a sure tone.

"Next time you want to go on a double date, make sure it's actually me and not someone else. I can take care of you better."

Serin scoffed, but a ghost of a smile graced her face before eventually agreeing. Dongheon's face became happy upon hearing her response.
