I hope y'all are doing well #ive been reading a lot of fics with these two and i see how the authors have the characters refer to each other in their fics #and that got me wondering how much do they say each other's name in the show and how do they refer to each other #since this is the house video ill put his stats here #s1 was 19 times s2 was 31 s3 was 34 s4 was 30 s5 was 35 s6 was 58 s7 was 25 and s8 was 28 #in total he says his name 260 times. Mostly refers to him just by Wilson #He's only said Wilson's first name 7 times. i feel like the mandalorian could be fun as just an ongoing series about din and grogu’s adventures but i also think it’s fair for people to feel annoyed at the writer coming out and straight up saying there’s no real “plan.” particularly with star wars it feels like time and time again we watch the series just get immediately run into the ground due to the creator’s improper planning and shitty writing so while i do think a fun and loose tv series is possible i simply don’t trust these people to do it with star wars

I’m rereading my thoughts as I wrote them when I was watching SNW when it aired and this part at the beginning is so important and I sometimes I still need the reminder lol

I consider SNW to not be related to TOS. It’s based on it, but clearly the story will go different directions, therefore there’s no reason to try and make a sense of it (but I also like to reinterpret some stuff for my own enjoyment and fics - but it has no place in discussing TOS like TOS should not really be considered too much when discussing SNW - I still think there should be some things that shouldn’t be broken, but… I think it’s too late for that, so I’ll just have to accept it as “it’s happening. fine” - at least that’s my stance on it.

Another sign that Eddie and Shannon don’t communicate is Shannon being worried about money, and Eddie saying, “I’ve got everything under control.” This, however, goes into Eddie being raised that the man provides the money mentality.

My husband enjoyed this episode and thought it was fun. ✌️

There’s that pressure again. Shannon pressuring Eddie to make a decision on what he wants, where she stands with him, all of it. I get it, Shannon, I do… But here’s that theme of Eddie always being pressured by people (like his parents and Shannon), and not giving him time.

Yeah, I honestly think the two biggest reasons Eddie was attempting to try again with the marriage was 1) for Christopher’s sake and 2) Eddie feels it’s what he should do.

But of course Shannon asks for a divorce….after months of pressuring Eddie to let her back in. One the one hand, yeah I do think divorce was the healthiest option for both of them. One the other, sucky timing ma’am. Also? I never understood part of Shannon’s speech, when she’s asking for a divorce. Was she implying that she wants to take a step back (again) from being a mom to Christopher? I may have to ask this in a separate post because I think this will get lost in everything.

RIGHT after Shannon’s funeral Eddie’s parents are asking/pressuring Eddie to move back to El Paso. Not cool on so many levels. Thank goodness for Pepa and Abuela being there to support Eddie.
