Fighting the constant aromantic urge to write an anthology story of a small old cafe throughout time and the friendships formed within over the centuries of its existence and how they parallel eachother .How humans have been doing the same mundane, beautiful things all through history but it's just lost under the better recorded history but it still existed, it still mattered and even if we never are remembered except for a brief glance at a doodle on the wall we did or a name on an ancient list of alumni or a note tucked away in an ancient library that we still were here, our lives: our happiness, out friendships, our laughs stumbling across a path on a cold night.

It mattered. We were here and that matters.

One of My favorite things in media is when there’s an ensemble of characters from around the world, and there’s one American who is just so American. They’re loud, they don’t know Celsius or the metric system, they may or may not be from a small farm town in the Deep South. Even if they aren’t southern, they’re always from small towns and they always know how to use a gun. They’re a little stupid usually, and their accent sticks out like a sore thumb. They’re either a fiercely loyal friend to the protagonist or an uncaring capitalist antagonist. The phrase “howdy y’all” is used unironically.

IVE BEEN WATCHING ATTORNEY WOO AND IVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!

This show got me out of art block omg I love it. It has its issues but at the same time I’ve never had MY autistic character she just like me fr. I like how the show showed not just the way we perceive the world but also how discrimination affects our lives. I didn’t expect to love this show as much as I do due to others saying “oh it’s just another genius autistic trope” but idk seeing an AFAB person play the role when it’s usually a dude makes it more relatable. I might just be on episode 4 but I already love it
