imagine sliding your arms around their neck and feeling them snugly encircle your waist in return; holding your body firmly against their chest. they melt into your embrace almost instantly, slackening in your arms as all the tension and stress of the day leaves their body. maybe they're generally open about their feelings or maybe they'd never be this vulnerable around another soul, but either way it's apparent: they trust you more than anything.

your beloved buries their head in the crook of your neck, sighing softly, finally at peace. the gentle exhale of their breath against your skin makes your heart flutter in your chest, and you can't help but be equally relaxed by their presence. can you feel a few stray locks of their hair brush against your shoulder, or just the warmth of their skin against yours? you press closer into them as they trace gentle patterns on your back with their fingers, seeking to comfort you as much as you do them.

you take in a deep breath, filling your lungs with your f/o's scent. whether they smell like a gentle perfume/cologne or slightly of sweat from their work that day, the familiarity puts you at ease nonetheless. a smile curls across your face as you shut your eyes, grateful for all the little moments like these that make life's difficulties seem worth it.

Gotta say one of my Mentopolis finale highlights is honestly the fact that Fanny gets a happy ending too because I was genuinely a little worried about her

finally finished reading the poppy war trilogy and i have WAY too many things to say about it, but first let me shed light on one of the mysteries regarding altan's death (because as the last speerly, a legend itself, he remained a mystery to everyone even in death) and why chaghan couldn't find any trace of his soul after passing: it can clearly be linked to how his soul was connected to rin's, as the last two speerlies even their wills became alike (or at least altan made sure to mold rin's will like his), altan's soul was coexisting in rin's body, in rin's mind; chaghan couldn't find any trace of his soul because only after rin's death he would finally be free from any "speerly rage", because there would be no speerly left to pass on what the genocide of their nation truly meant to them.

but, while reaching this conclusion, i also had the realization that altan's soul was actually scattered among everyone. everyone had a little bit of altan in the end, right? rin gained his rage, suni gained his empathy, chaghan gained what we could call somewhat love.

altan's soul became part of rin's, yes, but it was also shared among everyone. therefore, in the end, he did not have anything to himself just like what he had learnt during all his life.

Writing a fic not telling you specifics (someone come beat my ass I swear to god I watch a single tiktok that’s funny enough and suddenly I got a whole new plot in my head and this one is too good not to do) but it involves: Jaster/Myles/Adonai, Jaster adopting Obi-Wan through feeding him like a feral tooka, Jango thinking both girls AND boys have cooties, and neglectful master Krell about to get his ass kicked by the whole council for leaving his EIGHT year old Padawan in a place where he was able to get adopted by a system leader. If you didn’t have time for him just drop him back at the temple Omfg!!!! Anyways. Obi-Wan doesn’t know how to use the stove but he’s mastered the FUCK outta the electric kettle and Jaster is all ‘Omfg’ and proceeds to keep giving him instant meals that only need boiling water and following directions. Someone needed to parent that baby!!!
