Yknow how angler fish have their little lures? Idk, but I feel like Sephiroths attractiveness should be treated the same way? Like, on the first glance he is this strong, handsome and intelligent man who has a good amount of charisma and knows how to command a room.
But the longer you look at him, the longer you interact with him, the more you get this underlying feeling of wrongness, especially if you're not Hojo or another SOLDIER. Because if you think about it, Sephiroths otherworldly beauty is kinda unsettling. Combine that with his apparent perfection in everything he does, and anyone who gives him more than a cursory glance should be at least wary. Because as much as he looks and acts human, he really isn't. But why pretend to be something you arent?
(after all, why does Jenova look vaguely humanoid herself, if not to lure in her prey? make them come to you, maybe out of curiosity, or fear, or attraction.)
