Not even his gang, or Kuki are the first to see you, nah it’s Itto himself,

he literally finds 12 yr old you just sneaking around in awe in Chinju Forest,

and needless to say ur pretty fascinated with the colors and the vibes, and it’s not like Genshin Impact existed when u were this young, ur poor younger self is just rlly paranoidly looking around

Itto is kinda a lot at first, and he was a little confused by ur constant rubbing your arms, or tapping ur fingers on stuff, (or all the stims u be doing when ur nervous) but he just took it all in stride

so Itto, after like an hour and a few well placed rocks at his face and groin by 12 yr old u who was ready to fight to the death at first, FINALLY convinced you by drawing a little picture of his house and his friends

and all that clear effort, despite the foreign world, foreign non-human guy, etc., made you warm up to him too, afterall, even 12 yr old you knew a himbo when they saw one 💪

at first he just thought you were another person who was getting powered up by that yokai he felt (he was convinced thats what you were when u weren’t physically here before, like some kind of powerful gift giving/deal making yokai)

but after he saw you shapeshift the next morning into 16 yr old you, (he lives with his grandma so ur younger self felt pretty safe staying with a himbo guy and an little grandma lady)

he was now more convinced than ever-

that you were some kind of god that’s been in hiding since the archon war (his granny has a lot of cool stories so what?! hes a very educated oni thank you very much!),

so ur just running around with the gang, living ur little neurodivergent life, and anytime someone points out smth u do that might be awkward, like repeating something over and over as a stim (esp with learning english phrases/new words at times) the gang and Itto, and Kuki, are all ready to protect 💪

but most of the time what happens is- whether unintentionally or not, Itto manages to make THEM feel awkward or like they’re the ones doing something socially weird all the time 😭

just, a parent is like “this kid can’t speak English, do they even know any other language? Because all I keep hearing is them repeating that sound over and over…”

which announces to the whole neighborhood, bc Itto is only ever not loud when you tap his arm as a signal, that the parent is the nosiest bitch ever, he just puts them on blast for everyone to hear lmao

Itto is actually very respectful about you, and while it would, almost be easy bc of the age switching, for him to infantilize you, he’s really good at treating you like an equal no matter how old you are :0 :D

like a giant teddy bear older brother at times, and the guys and Kuki are all pretty good at it too

(tho dw, Kuki is doing all the emotional distress heavy lifting for all of them over your safety, esp bc when u switch at first u are VERY out of your element/disoriented bc u dont always recognize Teyvat/know less English)

…and she’s shocked at first, but realizing how giggly and happy u two are, and then Itto explains its bc of her???

Kujou Sara lets Arataki Itto go, for the first time, ever.

she doesnt explain, but she literally was so melted by cuteness, and a warm familiarity??, by u two she couldnt be mad anymore lmao

Itto is now legally obligated to bring you to any and all matters involving the government, regardless of age, according to Kuki Shinobu, his grandma, and himself

all for different reasons tho, Itto’s like, “My lucky charm! My bestie goes everywhere with me!”

meanwhile Kuki/grandma: “A foreign non-Teyvatian speaking child/teen at times is more adept at keeping Itto in line than anyone else, or at least getting him out of the consequences 💀”

BROOO LIKE THE TRIAL AND EVERYTHING... Ok I was a Danganronpa kid (red flag ik) BUT I WAS GEEKING OUT. I GUESSED THE TWISTS. felt proud... And brooo it hurt me that the traveler doesn't like Lyney after all that. I understand that tho ! But if it were me I seriously didn't care about Lyney and Lynette being Fatui related like he said, he was showing us his true self and not the part of him that joined the Fatui. You can tell he doesn't fucking approve of their ways but he does it anyways because at first he wanted the protection for his siblings but when he realized the Fatui dark side he knew he couldn't get out likely... Just my prediction/theory tho

As for the rest... I loved the ending where that guy is murdered. They really had me believing he was gonna be happy with his love but I was pleasantly wrong... Yeah the news of the girls going missing disturbed me but it didn't really attach me to them and make me hate this guy. BUT HIS ENDING MANAGED TO MAKE ME HATE HIM AT HIS VERY ENDING AND SUPPORT THE LADIES... GOODNESS THAT WAS MY FAVORITE MOMENT. I LOVED THAT... WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT IT I LOVE IT WHEN CRIMINALS GET SHIT BC WE'VE BEEN REDEEMING AND UWU FYING THEM TOO MUCH...

Also also, Colirivia... Like oh my god the yuri. When she first appeared I was cheering LET'S GO SAPPHICSSSSSS

Clorinde is a lot softer and less cold than I thought. I expected her to be like Keqing/Sara but no... I actually really like Clorinde. She's so cool.

About Furina... I'm really invested in her. Yes she's annoying and all but like it's just so right. I usually hated characters because they're just not for me, but I don't hate Furina even if she's annoying and all. You can tell she doesn't mean to and that she's only doing this for some other reason. Okay so the Fontaine visions and everything give us a constant theme. Duality. Everything comes in pairs in Fontaine... Pneuma Ousia, Furina having split colour eyes, the gliders being split colour too... And we notice that with hydro vision wielders, they have another side of them that they show and the other side they hide. Like a play, a mask, a performance. And I see that clearly with Furina. I love her augh even if I wanna squeeze her. I can ramble a lot tbh this is what happens when an autistic bitch has a SI in Genshin...

And I notice that Furina is clearly actually very caring. She only puts up an act of flamboyance, which I believe may be her way of getting love from the people. She is noticeably unknowledgeable and lacking in certain aspects, but would you notice that if you were focused on her theatrics? I think she believes that the people cheering and supporting her in an opera like performance is her kind of love, believing she's doing a good job maintaining that belief and worship in her as a god. Which she needs to keep up, because not only does the energy there rely on her people's beliefs, but the previous Hydro archon died, leaving her with a lot of expectations to shoulder. She seems to judge other gods, so she probably noticed how Nahida was treated, and didn't want that for herself so she actively tries and tries to get her people's love, AND IT'S WORKING.

I feel like due to the recent trials and oratrice incident however, that this belief is starting to shake, which is where we get act 3 of the AQ. As the energy supply is malfunctioning, Furina will struggle to regain those beliefs in her, and I think that could be her character arc. Realizing that she can't keep wearing a mask forever, she'll definitely do something about that. I'm really invested in her... I can't wait.

Also also I think Wriothesley, who's in charge of the prison, will personally oversee Tartaglia. That's when we meet him and all, bc the traveler cares about Childe and will probably request to see him.

Speaking of Wrio, I can't wait to see his dynamic with Sigewinne. They're so cute...

I think I like every single character tbh. Every character in Fontaine has some depth and expectation subversion... Oh shit wait that's the entire theme of hydro nation. Lmao. How fitting.

finally got back home ik this joke is getting old but thankfully sara didn’t also want to stop the buses today because i would’ve been stuck in tampere otherwise and i finally have time to watch umk so i decided to write down some thoughts from the whole experience

- tampere as a host city was perfect. we didn’t have time to do anything before the event but the whole city looked so beautiful in purple light

- we arrived there at 7pm i think and there was almost no line to the floor seats, but the third floor was jam-packed with ppl bc all the activities and restaurants were there

- when we went to check our seats, they didn’t exist 🤠 we asked a staff member about it and they were like yeah we had to move your seats due to safety reasons, but you can pick a seat from this row that’s multiple rows back from your original seat. i’m now in the process of figuring out if our new seats were from a section with lower-priced tickets because if they were, i don’t really think sitting on the same row as some important people really made for the value lost

- the pre-show was great! the dance performance was good and we had so much fun singing along to all the songs they were playing while waiting for the actual show to start

- ylivoimainen/hoida mut mashup was indeed very kuumaa 🔥ylivoimainen was my most played song ever on spotify until a certain slovenian band took over and i love that they brought them back

- kuori mua. the song itself is fun and it really grew on me before umk, but sini was not the strongest singer that night and the staging was not my taste. wig snatched though

- dancing with demons. i liked this song, but idk why it feels so dated to me. susanna is a great vocalist though!

- glow. we were instructed to put our flashlights on for this song. this is a song that would’ve done better at melodifestivalen. it’s a bop and the most danceable out of all the songs and could become a huge hit this summer

- vox populi. i had mixed feelings about this one. i like it as a song, it’s catchy and i love nublu’s voice, but something in it feels a bit off. also the staging just wasn’t working.

- paskana. this reminded me too much of tattoo. she did give a great performance and she’s a very good singer, though pitchy at some points. deserved the jury points though.

- mania. the one that surprised me the most! the staging looked good live and even though he’s not the strongest singer of this year’s artists, his live vocals still surprised me in a good way.

- no rules. when they brought in the jegg and hung up the jorts, i didn’t know what to expect, but this was definitely not it. i didn’t like the song when it first came out, but the performance itself made it the best song that night and it deserved the win.

- the yle app didn’t even let me in when i wanted to vote :(

- pilvi’s performance. i’m not even exaggerating when i say that we just stood there with our mouths open for like half the song because we couldn’t believe we were witnessing such a bop. i’d heard pilvi sing before because she actually starred in a musical in my hometown before she became well known but i didn’t remember she was that good

- katri helena is a legend ❤️ ngl hittiputki has ruined me because i was just waiting for someone to sing señorita por favor after that 💀

- when they started announcing the international jury votes there was suddenly a huge camera right in front of us and at that point we realized that the people who sat next to us were the ones announcing the spanish and swedish votes (btw thobias seems so sweet! he was so excited when they announced the winner!). i was also worried that the camera would block my view from seeing joker out giving the points but luckily they went away for that 😂

- ruoska!!! it’s a banger and worked well on stage. at the end of this häärijä walked right in front of us wrapped in something dark and i didn’t even notice it before my friend was like omg was that häärijä 😂

- cha cha cha! loved seeing all of the dancers and it looked amazing on stage with the pyros and the lights and it actually got me kinda emotional

- the results were kinda surprising, but not really. i didn’t even think of windows95man as a contender for the win before that day, but hearing how much the audience cheered for him just when he was entering the green room before the show was kinda telling

- the afterparty was nice, imo there were too many people but what can you do when suddenly all of finland loves eurovision. there was music and some of the artists came to sing for us, we saw the winners and keira from last year!

- there were so many youtubers and influencers and other celebs i feel like everywhere i looked there was someone whose face i recognized

- at one point we went to the bathroom and just when i closed the door i heard the words mi bomo celo noč plesali and immediately ran back to the dancefloor by myself 😂

all in all it was a great event! me and my friend had so much fun and there was lots to do and see. hope to be there next year too :)

Oh how the TIMES have CHANGED. Let's go through a quickie review of my ever-evolving storyline since we last chatted...which was August 2023?

July-August 2023

Existential crisis is just forming, like a small acorn, dropped from a giant oak tree last autum, cozily nestled under just the right amount of earth...and try as I might to fight the feeling or burgeoning nihilistic turmoil and crippling self-doubt, nature finds a way *out bursts the first sprouting of a tree*

My deepest fear, that I wouldn't know shit about fuck at my new job has come true! I am surrounded by brilliant, kind, wonderful people who are so intimidating in their relevant-to-the-field accomplishments that I barely ask any questions for fear of revealing how much of a fool not only I am, but they have been for hiring me. My personality is all I have now...and that's starting to suffer as a result of basically everything else I post from now til December

My best friend (not drunk girl definition of best friend, but the proper definition of best friend akin to what is described in Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics) goes off the handle in a way that is only worth diving into if I create a spin-off blog dedicated solely to that Game of Thrones-level plot twist that was without a doubt a significant effect modifier in my emotional and mental fissuring this side of 2023. Agnes and Tangerine by Glass Animals are played on repeat.

I cry almost every day on the train, sometimes going to Rotterdam, mostly on my way home after expertly compartmentalizing my like a bento box of emotions that I sample from throughout the day. After 5 pm is when the soy sauce (my salty tears) flows.

I attempt dating at the encouragement of my roommate, only to find it is fertilizer for the inner unrest eating away at the fibers of my morality.

I do, however, manage to make some friends along the way, in spite of my downward spiral

I start Dutch classes as an attempt to quell my inner demons that are pressuring me to assimilate HARDER, better, FASTER, stronger (important note: no one is putting any pressure on me, just myself, per usual) ((now I am curious what the ratio of my accomplishments/successes/moments of overcoming adversity are results of high-functioning anxiety)) (((at the risk of my inner peace and sleep, I PERFORM)))

Work is very much a deep stressor of my life, though I have gotten better about vocating my need for clarity, which releases enough pressure on the valve attached to my sad/scared mind so that I do not explode.

I'm very sad about aforementioned best friend, but coping...we've stopped speaking but it's what I need in order to not be a puddle of weird leftovers from the craft store mixed with beer.

I'm finding it hard to talk to people in a way that's natural. I don't feel like myself. In fact I can't remember the last time I felt this unlike myself. I am so thin and sad...it's pathetic, and almost funny. She used to be mine by Sara Barielles plays on repeat.

I started going to therapy and she's amazing. Can I just become this woman? Is that part of her treatment? She is the stabalizing force I desperately need. Like a kindly-meant slap to the face for a poor sap babbling about nonsense, Marion brings me back to reality.

I'm making friends with colleagues and other people! I suspect it's because I'm feeling like myself again...She's been lurking, coming out at random moments and surprising those around me. "who is this exotic creature, so odd yet fun, so nice yet blunt, she's attracti--wait what the fuck did she just do with her face?"

Have I mentioned I have a crush on a colleague? His face looks like it was carved by Michaelangelo, he dresses like someone with a good relationship with his parents, and is very serious but always cracks a smile at my jokes. Consequently, I am spinning out over my lust.

Halfway through this ragged, damp, brisk month and I'm back in the US...

Somehow what sticks out to me most in the highlights of this month is the fun AF office Christmas party??? All the office personnel who I (very likely, incorrectly) perceived as having sticks up their billen (Dutch, look it up) let the walls comes down and the singing and dancing come out. Karaoke is the great unifier baybeeee

Annnnnnnnnd Florida for 2 weeks...that was nice, but why do I feel an inarticulable sense of dread? I am happy and a bit excited to go back to NL but but but something about seeing both my siblings families and their general stability is not sitting well with me.

Getting Into an Argument w/ Her

A/n: Ah Finally I can add Signora to my collection :,) 

Ik some of y’all follow my stuff daily so I’m gonna add her to the Inazuma category on my Masterlist cause that’s (SPOILER) miss girl’s resting place until they add Snezhnaya. 

• Signora was always very short-tempered, it didn’t matter who you were, she would throw an adult tantrum if she didn’t get her way. You weren’t an exception, she didn’t like being told no, and because of her temperament, you didn’t like telling her no.

• You got into an argument because of one certain thing she requested that you absolutely couldn’t do. Signora was not afraid to hurt anyone, but with your people pleaser attitude you couldn’t hurt a fly. So when she ordered you to hurt someone and you refused? She insulted you beyond necessary.

• When you started crying she thought you were soft at first. But once you continued to cry she would feel unbelievably guilty of the past. She’s already lost one lover, she would rather not lose another.

“Don’t patronize me,” Signora scoffed at you when you refused to step over her underlings. Tears gathered up in your eyes, threatening to fall at any moment, Signora must’ve noticed it too. “Hmph, you’re so embarrassing to me.” She pushed the Fatui Agent away as she walked off rolling her eyes, she expected you to follow close behind her like always.

You felt a sinking feeling in your gut, your eyes feeling red and swollen as you were failing at controlling your emotions. Signora glanced behind her after not hearing your shoes on the tile floor, her stern frown turned sympathetic when she noticed your obvious body language.

“Oh please,” She turned around to face you, trying to mentally convince herself she was still in the right. “You’re stronger than this right love?” Her words were softer and gentler, coming to the conclusion that she was indeed in the wrong.

This tall woman approached you with arms open, pulling you in an awkward embrace. She was stiff and felt like cardboard against you, but it was unusually comforting. She may have been horrible at showing basic affection, but it was her unpolished approach that made your heart warm up to her. 

“I apologize,” She sighed, composing her thoughts as she was afraid to say something to worsen the situation. “I’m just... not used to having someone I care about under my wing anymore.” 

• Sara has a strong heart, so much so that it often leaves her blind to her surroundings. She would spit arrogant remarks if someone dared speak Ill on the Shogun. Therefore, you avoided the topic of her work whenever you met her.

• You got into an argument because of her undying loyalty to Inazuma. You weren’t too keen on politics, so when you said something inaccurate she would bash you. The constant badgering from her made you feel a crushing pressure.

• At first she’d be surprised that her words had such an impact on you. But afterward, she understood the consequences of her actions. She couldn’t expect you to be okay after ridiculing you in such a way.

“I cannot help but feel you don’t care what I’m saying at the moment,” Sara said condescendingly with folded arms. You were silent at her claim, shaking your head in denial. Your fists were clenched, you were so angry your tears and emotions would burst all in one go. “Well? Are you going to say something?”

You knew if you spoke you’d immediately cry. Unfortunately, your tears weren’t held back by a sheer will and began pouring down your cheeks. Sara looked at you with her eyes bursting halfway through their sockets. Her folded body posture sprouted towards you in concern.

“Please that’s enough,” She begged bringing you into a hug, her hand wrapped around your shoulder, the other bringing your head into the crook of her neck. You were reduced to a small child whenever Sara comforted you. 

She might’ve been the scary general of the Tenryou Commission, but to you, she was just your girlfriend. She made mistakes but always came around and fixed everything. Unlike others, she gave you a treatment that made you feel special. But occasionally you forget what it feels like to be courted by her, causing a sudden downpour of emotions like the one you were feeling at the moment.

“You needn't cry over this, I love you and had never meant to cause this reaction.” She brushed your hair with her fingers to soothe you, your tears staining her neck. You weren’t crying anymore from anger but from the built-up stress. 

• Jean is a workaholic, she won’t ever give herself a break. Often neglecting her personal life for the sake of Mondstadt. As the Acting Grand Master, it was only natural for her priorities to be in this order, but sometimes it got out of hand.

• You began arguing because you worried for her safety, she compared you to an overbearing parent. Her lethargy took over her common sense, which ultimately clouded her judgment, making it impossible for you two to see eye-to-eye.

• When you began crying Jean thought this was a drag, but when she saw how much it truly hurt you she’d feel remorse. She frequently pushed people away when it didn’t benefit her on accident, but you were the one she didn’t want to ever distance from.

“Jean, are you listening to me?” You felt ignored, rejected, and disrespected. You had talked with Jean over and over again about how she constantly blows you off to get some extra papers done. The first time you understood, the second time you were pissed, the third time you were fed up. “Jean, love... Listen to me- I don’t know how much longer I can take this.”

You sat at the dinner table as Jean looked downcast, her facial expressions covered by her bangs. Regardless of what she said wouldn’t have changed your angry reaction, but you wanted at least some type of response of guilt, anger, reciprocation. But her silence echoed through your ears, and you were afraid it meant she no longer cared to keep in touch with you. The overthinking corrupted you, and you burst into tears at the thought of losing her to exhaustion. 

You finally saw Jean’s eyes meet yours, she had glossy eyes of regret and surprise. “Please love don’t cry,” She rushed to your side and brought you into a motherly hug. She knew she really messed up this time.

Jean’s strong grip on your shoulders as she looked deep into your eyes to check for a window of opportunity to apologize. Just her facial expressions of concern for you comforted you because it showed she still cared for you. You began calming down from your high as Jean gently brushed the remainder of your tears away with her thumb.

“I’m sorry. I truly value your time but sometimes I lose track of myself. I was just gathering my own emotions together and trying to find something to say that I wouldn’t regret or upset you more. I know I shouldn’t excuse myself but I no longer will keep you in the dark of how I feel.”

• Beidou is known for her crushing strength, sometimes she didn’t realize how strong she truly was. She was a heavy drinker so she rarely lost self-control. But other times she felt like a different person.

• You got into an argument that was initially minor over something petty. But she had pushed with what she considered “light” force, causing you to be in shock that she would even put her hands on you when she promised she would be the one to keep you safe.

• Beidou would sober up on the feeling of regret. She didn’t mean to push you, but at the same time, she did? She didn’t know how to fix it or anything, but she knew she wasn’t the victim in this situation, and comfort was all you needed.

You couldn’t even remember what you got into the argument for, but the moment she laid her hands on you was something you couldn’t forget. You knew she meant it as a light shove but it didn’t feel so. You stumbled backward into her desk with enough impact to knock a couple of items off it.

You were in shock that she would even lay her hands on you, you felt betrayed and in genuine danger. Beidou, from the looks of it, was equally in shock at her actions. She rushed by your side placing her hands on you again, checking you for any injuries or splinters from the wood. “Shit, I’m so sorry. I never meant-,” Her voice was trembling, you could tell she was sincere.

Her remorse for you and the pent-up stress from the situation at hand made you burst in tears. Beidou’s expression intensified, she was fearful your pain was the cause of your tears. She began calming you by petting your hair and burying your head in the nape of your neck.

Her hands were shaky and you swear you could feel her heartbeat jumping from her chest. Her grip on you was panicked and tight, it felt like she was clawing onto you afraid she’d lose you emotionally if she let go.

“I’m sorry... I accept any consequence that you give me. If you want me to drop you off at Liyue Harbor next time the Crux lands, so be it.” She knew she couldn’t be selfish, but the thought of losing you clouded her emotional logic. “I need you though, and I would hate myself if I lost you.”

an apology first because you just said pretty recently (well it was recent when i first started on this ask) how much u hate writing artemis in angst, but oop, this is going to be very sad bc i’m doing it ab artemis and her madre 😬 it’s not my fault i wanted to a song from folklore or evermore because i haven’t used many yet and all of those songs are kinda sad and this one fit so well!

“I sit and watch you / I notice everything you do or don't do / You're so much older and wiser, and I” sara does not notice artemis, but artemis sure notices every time she is ignored, neglected and forced to raise herself. sara is much older and supposed to be a more wise, mature person to help artemis through the trauma of missing a brother and losing a father, but instead she brushes artemis aside and shuts down completely.

“Wait by the door like I'm just a kid / Use my best colors for your portrait / Lay the table with the fancy shit / And watch you tolerate it” this is like the eggshells story: young artemis wants nothing more than to impress her mother with a show of love. and her mother is neglectful and unappreciative, and artemis is left feeling tolerated instead of loved.

“If it's all in my head, tell me now / Tell me I've got it wrong somehow / I know my love should be celebrated / But you tolerate it” when artemis is younger, she still asks her mother to do things like walk her to the train, and talk to her. she holds onto that little hope that maybe she’s wrong, and maybe this time sara will act like a mother. as she gets older, she knows she’s right to be angry with her mom.

“I made you my temple, my mural, my sky / Now I'm begging for footnotes in the story of your life / Drawing hearts in the byline / Always taking up too much space or time” artemis is desperate for any of the attention she deserves from a parent, but never receives it. sara always comes up with the lamest excuses to avoid taking care of her daughter.

ophelia - “Don’t Blame Me” (reputation)

“Don't blame me, love made me crazy / If it doesn't, you ain't doin' it right” the best part ab ophelia is that she’s selfish and materialistic enough to be considered a bit crazy, especially in her pursuits of love. but, love shmove, amirite? if ur marrying for love and not money, ur not doing it right. that’s what ophelia says at least.

Anyways, *spoilers if u actually haven’t read gatsby* Daisy Buchanan is a materialistic woman with a rich asshole of a husband who chooses money (old money oc) and status over love. This isn’t exactly like ophelia, but it’s a pretty decent parallel.

i feel like i’m betraying my color code with this pink tbh because ravenclaw blue + hufflepuff yellow is green, but green is just not the color of this ship imo, and i just did ophelia green, so i went with pink because it’s the color of “Lover”

FEH - Finally got the first merge on Hoshidan Summer Micaiah + appreciation post

With [Hall of Forms] now finished and all the rewards obtained, I can now rest at ease forgetting it, so I went to [Forging Bonds] and just got the last [Divine Codes: Ephemera 8] to give Micaiah her well earned merge, and here it is, her RES bane is no more.

While I don't see her often in [AR-D], I've come to understand why she's a good option here: she fills a very unique niche as a refresher with min-maxed attack and resistance that deals effective damage on armored and cavalry units, she aged really well as a unit despite her having one of the lowest BST values of her class but her refine will eventually come out and make her outstanding, I'll wait for it before I invest too much in her.

Anyway, this is not what I appreciate Micaiah, so I'll tell you a little story below and sum up my reasons, there'll be minor spoiler warnings and it's a tad too extensive but I hope you'll find it an interesting read if you do look on it.

I've known about her ever since I started to play Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn after I got my black Wii back in 2015 for my birthday and unlocked it to sideload USB games some time after, but it took me a little to feel like trying it and get it running, I used to be a guy that just trained whoever seemed likeable enough from looks so that I could get on, not as attentive with the plot of every game I play as I am now, but I've started to change that around the time I've started Final Fantasy VIII on the second half of 2019, a game that was truly legendary and emotional Imo.

This is more or less how I've come to known her, but I want to share what sparked interest on me for her:

It took me exactly two weeks to realize I wanted her so badly, it helped that when Lilina was announced, I'd need a [Feh Pass] subscription for just this month, and I got it with help from a friend, to date, I'm still grateful to that user for the support and for us to continue upholding a strong bond.

In any case, when the time came, I realized how charming this skin was, it's one of the best we've gotten, the Hel thematic looks wonderful on her (what a delightful blend of colors and precise styling by Sachie, same person that made the art for Legendary Julia and Sara, yes, more favs 💜) and the art is overall just too good but the best piece out of the four is the normal one I think, and I'll explain why while covering my favorite part of character talking: personality.

Micaiah is a kind and caring girl towards those she holds dear, specially the people of the country she eventually leads as a queen: Daein, located in the Tellius continent.

She also has a bit of a bitter side but that's not how she normally comes off, yet, this doesn't come out without a reason, she was born a Branded (a human born from a human and laguz unity that end up getting a special power and an irremovable brand somewhere in their body, highly discriminated in Tellius), she had to hide her brand to anyone but her closest friends like Sothe so that she's not mistreated.

She's highly capable of selflessness, symbolized through that power she's gotten: [Sacrifice], it heals the target's wounds at the cost of her life force, she can recover just fine, but it exhausts her in return. This has allowed her to heal without staves and get the recognition from her people in Daein, like when she was first fleeing Begnion forces in Nevassa (capital city of Daein) while repelling bandit attacks, the citizens blocked the path when Micaiah and the Dawn Brigade (it's a group she leads to liberate her country) flee, but before she could escape, she sensed danger, and spotted a young guy being hurt from an arrow a Begnion soldier shot to a child named Nico, who would remember Micaiah's act of kindness for nursing him back to health almost instantly.

There were some times in which Micaiah also had to make really tough decisions, for example: Ike's army was tasked by Apostle Sanaki of Begnion to escort her to her country as they were trying to uncover the vile senate's acts, they had to pass through Daein territory, but because of a [Blood Pact] (a contract that enforces its signer's obedience to avoid a greater catastrophe) that Pelleas (that's the former king of Daein's son) signed under the false pretention that was a peace treaty the senate proposed. Micaiah had to hinder Ike's army advancement to see if she can trick the Begnion senate so she sent her soldiers to fight for that... she wanted to give time to Pelleas so that he could find a way to remove the effects from the [Blood Pact], as they couldn't just be removed normally. She had to make those sacrifices all because of a contract, and she couldn't even just tell Ike that she was forced to follow orders, the attacks from Daein forces didn't make much sense to him naturally. It was her people or her soldiers, so she had to make such decisions that tested her willpower, yet she's strong at heart and carried out with the orders she was given.

In Fire Emblem Heroes, she doesn't talk much about those events, but that's because she wishes to be free from the chains of past days, even if for a moment, she shows a friendly personality towards the Summoner and still being herself. She became queen of Daein and led her people to an age of prosperity, welcoming both laguz and human alike.

Now, all this and more things you'd learn as you play Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (or may remember from your playthroughs) show how strongly developed and compelling she is as a character, there's a lot going in her life and she lived many difficult moments, yet she got through and grew into a kind and strong-willed woman, she truly impressed me, and I think she's truly pretty, like, I mean:

I won't deny that the Resplendent skin is magnificent and gave me the last push-up to play her home game after a long time and learn more about her, but I could see what kind of character she is and what makes her truly special... true, she's not my "best girl" (see PFP) but I still hold her dear as if she was almost high up there. And it's said that "nothing beats the original", so I certainly love her original design.

Here's a little showcase of the other two variants of her I have, I'm missing only her Bridal alt and the possible Legendary one coming later in this month, but here are them:

I love all her official art and how it manages to bring out her friendliness and tender side.

I'm so glad that so far, I've lucked out well with her IVs save her Hoshidan Summer alt, and she appeared randomly when pulling for others most of the time, so it's great to have her now, even as-is.

Her Brave variant from 2019 should be getting a refine next month or any time for the remainder of 2021, I know it'll be good but I would already love to know what it'll do before I give her anything else.

I might be mis-remembering, but I believe at a reptile convention I went to with Sara, one of the vendors had a goliath bird eater tarantula in one of the cups. I do know it was some tarantula species for sure, though. Who was the first person to break your heart? My dad. Obviously not romantically, but him just splitting on the family with no proper communication absolutely broke my heart for years. First person to give you flowers or candy on Valentine’s day? I'm sure that would be my parents. If you exclude them 'cuz that's kinda obvious, I believe it was Aaron, my first boyfriend. When was the last time that you had a pet that died? We last had to put my dog Teddy down; he had cancer and was literally withering away. I knew in my very core that even if we didn't bring him to the vet to euthanize him, he would've died naturally in a very short period of time; I doubt he would've survived another night. Now I'd like to move on. What is your favorite medication that you take, and why? The combination of Vraylar and Lamictal is the reason I'm alive. It keeps my bipolarity and depression under control.
