kinda sad how davekat was like. it truly was a big deal at the time when it was confirmed by hussie. some of yall who came into homestuck after it was already over dont understand how great it felt actually to finally have a relatively healthy and affectionate m/m relationship shown in HS when all the others were typically dysfunctional, abusive, or one-sided. it was exciting!!! we were all jst kinda happy for dave and karkat yknow. even if it resulted in some pointless "which quadrant are they in?" discourse and some shipping wars but thats just par for the course in hs fandom

and then the epilogues and homestuck 2 dropped and like. ooooohhhhh my godddddd. its completely swamped in stupid melodrama and for some reason they completely ruined jades character for the sake of davekat angst and they ignored daves development in the comic for half-baked sexuality crisis plotline andlike. it feels like everyone turned on davekat and now its cringe or smth and its like. Wow . we had like . three years to feel good abt this and now its gone forever. Awesome

when will fnv fans realize that film adaptations of games are mostly only funsies and loosely based in canon? stop worrying about this or that being canon, and enjoy the show :) this is undeniably one of the best adaptations for any game series, and yet y'all are still finding ways to complain.

Soooo.. I have no idea how to start this and I feel a little silly lol, BUT I spoke about this before to my bbys @powerofelvis & @dre6ming (she suggested I'd make a post like this ^^), so here we go!

I was born in a family that is paranormally (is that a word? idk lol) gifted. The ball was passed onto me and since my mother was always doing these kind of things, I pretty much grew up with it. Now I'm on my own spiritual journey and I really enjoy it, therefor I want to share it with you guys 🥺.

I often reach out to my family members who have passed, sometimes when I need guidance, sometimes when I just want to talk to them or feel their energy. And ofcourse.. I couldn't help myself and reached out to Elvis too 👀.

My mother mostly used her pendulum, but since my lil brain is a chaotic mess most of the time and I'm still practicing, I don't use that method often. Aside from being able to feel energies, smell things, etc. I also use a candle or spirit box app to communicate and since I actually managed to hear Elvis' voice come through a few times and felt his energy and got accurate answers through the candle, I want to share it with y'all so bad SO LET'S DO A LIL SESSION, MY LOVES.

I'm freaking nervous about this, because it's not something I would usually share but since Elvis likes to communicate in this way with his fans (according to the man himself), I asked for his permission to do this and he said yessss (I just finished a 3 hour session with him don't judge my ass). So so so, if youuu have any questions you want to ask him, pls comment them on this post and I will try and put a little video together of me reaching out to him and asking your questions! ❤

In my experience, he mostly likes to talk about his music (or music in general) and movies, spiritual things, and honestly pretty random stuff at times lol. Since he was a very private person, he doesn't like to talk about personal things but does mention Lisa Marie and Cilla sometimes. He does not talk about The Colonel, so pls keep that in mind.

Ofcourse my intentions are purely set with love and light, so pls think of appropiate questions my cuties!

This was so nostalgic. I started watching bsd when I was around 28 (i think. I thought it was 27 but season 3 was in the process of coming out or had recently concluded when I started watching and that was apparently 2019), I had recently survived a very serious (and preventable) illness and given up my lifestyle that had caused it, and had been spending more time finding things to do at home because of that (so way more reading and watching new things). I think it was like this weird perfect storm of having more alone time and needing to focus on doing things by myself instead of going out and partying constantly whenever I wasn't working, being completely sober (at that time) and a lot of things obviously resonating with me with the characters and the story. Like I think I always would have liked this series if I had encountered it at another time, but watching it consistently and getting so into it so quickly I think still had a lot to do with timing for me tbh.
