(Hypothetically, there would also be different styles to go with different styles of clothes as gender markers since men and women mages both keep long hair)

So Madelyn, Stephan, and Alric all keep their hair relatively long while they’re adventuring and fighting and exploring forests and stuff. So I want to use my own hair to try out styles they might use to keep it practically out of the way while being active, and I’m looking for resources. Most of the historical costuming stuff I’ve found so far is geared around clothing, and while there are a few hair tutorials, mine is just too heavy to stay on my head.

I know that’s random but if anyone could point me in the right direction or offer input on how you do your hair, I’d appreciate the help!
