I've read something before that female sailors or pirates were used to hide their gender up until the defeat a guy then show a breasts to tell them that a woman has defeated them.smth like that.

I'm writing this because now lots of misled girls will lead to think that (nonetheless with stigmatising system against them) that turned around (waist turned) butt exposure position is female empowerment, boss move. Which isn't, it was programmed for men to subordinate (object to a subject) you.

now that In Blossom is over...

i'm going to briefly compare ju jingyi's version of yang caiwei versus zheng hehuizi's version (the first actress) to answer the question of 'is ju jingyi's verson in character according to what we know of yang caiwei in the first two episodes and in childhood flashbacks?'

why? because a lot of people have a reluctance to start this drama due to ju jingyi. i get it, she's not everyone's cup of tea. also, she has a harder task in this drama as the actress that plays the second version of female lead, and many think that she didn't step it up.

but i wanted to throw my thoughts out there in case anyone was willing to give her/the drama a chance. does ju jingyi's version feel in character, and thus, tolerable?

yeah, mostly.

zheng hehuizi's version is just, mature, and sensible. but we know from flashbacks that she wasn't just serious all the time; with her friends, she was cheerful and bright. even at the little kids who bullied her in episode 1, she played a prank on them--showcasing a silly sense of humor and ability to shrug off judgements after years of discrimination. the main reason why she was serious in the first two eps was because she was trying to push pan yue away. (and also she was worried about her sick master.)

ju jingyi's version also was pretty much the same. she was just, smart, and wary of pan yue (rightly so). the reason why she acted extra super cheerful was because she was trying to show to pan yue that she, shangguan zhi, had changed. by doing this, she was hoping to draw his eyes away from her so she could investigate. that's why i accepted the fact that ju jingyi's version could be almost too much with the quirky acts; it was initially for a good reason. once she believed in pan yue, her character wasn't so quirky anymore, because she didn't need to be over-the-top about everything. once the quirkyness disappeared, she felt more attuned to the first version we saw.

so, in terms of whether it's in character and coherent, i would say yeah, it feels enough. it's not perfect, but it's just enough to get through (though the last parts of the drama didn't give much to her character...i say more on this near the end.)

the reality is we really didn't get to see much of zheng hehuizi's version so we really don't have that much as a frame of reference. in fact, we barely get flashbacks to when yang caiwei struggled after her parents died, and her learning coroner skills from her master. because of this, i'm forced by the story to just accept that ju jingyi's version is accurate/correct.

which isn't all bad. ju jingyi's version have several shining moments. (one of my fav scenes of her is when she's drunk and confesses she's not "shangguan zhi" but pan yue doesn't believe her, so she stares at pan yue achingly with these wide regretful sad eyes. we know her conflict, we know why she can't tell him the truth yet! it's heartbreaking.)

but what i've noticed, especially toward the end of the drama, is that ju jingyi's version actually doesn't get that much time to show her character's interiority. we don't get to see her, just by herself, thinking and feeling. the most obvious example of this is when she's in jail! and has been tortured!! and we see NOTHING except she's leaning against the wall and ignoring the food and jail guards. no thoughts, no words about her situation or reminiscing about her family or her master or concerns about her friends or pan yue??? she might die, does she not feel regretful that she hasn't brought justice to her family???? she just silently endures. that might be a testament to her strength of character, but as a viewer, i'm scratching my head. i'm not that compelled by her just sitting there. i need her to say or do something.

now, with the drama all wrapped up, i can definitely say that pan yue has so much more growth and growing than yang caiwei. even his relationship with his father gets a little redemption arc. pan yue becomes the biggest main character. yang caiwei, on the other hand, kind of stops growing once she and pan yue gets together.

whether it's by writing or her own acting or editing, yang caiwei ultimately is an underutilized character. we could've seen more of her character's growth to perhaps appreciate ju jingyi's version more. but we didn't get that, for better or for worse. i liked both versions of yang caiwei in the end. just wanted a bit more for her.

Concept: Getting kidnapped by one of the masters/missy and when you are taken to the tardis the others are there waiting for you-🌈

You almost didn’t have time to realize who was walking past you when your arm was twisted behind you back in a fluid, practiced motion.

The Master. Of course it was. Who wouldn’t recognize him when he was dressed in all black velvet. He had clearly learned that you cooperated better when you knew it was him and not a complete stranger. Better the threat you know, and all that.

Struggling halfheartedly against his grip rewarded you with another flash of pain as he twisted further. With very little remorse you gave up on your struggles. While getting abducted by the Master wasn’t ideal, it was at least familiar. Wondering what plan he had this time you scarcely paid attention to your surroundings. 

Until he started to approach a street lamp with no signs of changing his path. His TARDIS. Letting him keep you captive on the same planet or ship that you were already on was one thing, but letting him bring you who knows where? Unthinkable. That was the real danger. While you didn’t think he would leave you somewhere defensless without provocation, you didn’t fancy being left somewhere the Doctor may never find you again.

Renewing your struggles, you twisted in every direction. Throwing your weight around, digging your heels into the ground. Anything you could think of. You didn’t waste any time with screaming, no one here would think to help you. You had been the only one to stop and help a screaming child earlier.

“Now, now, you know better than to make this worse on yourself, my dear. Stop struggling or you’ll end up with a broken arm,” he lowly drawled. Breath caressing your ear with each whispered threat.

A sputtered tangling of words was your only retort as he spun you around and threw you over his shoulder with nary a thought. Loosing precious time to your surprise, it wasn’t until you were halfway through the doorway that you remembered to fight him.

Pounding aimlessly against his back you yelled at him, “put me down!”. Not expecting him to comply you almost fell over when he set you back on your feet.

Arms helped to steady you, instinctively you almost thanked them. Before freezing as you realized that you had no idea who was behind you. It wasn’t the Master’s arms around you, his were crossed in front of you while he worn a smug smile.

“Oh the poor little poppet hasn’t met us yet has she! I almost forgot how cute she looked when she froze in confusion,” a female voice cooed behind you. 

Close, too close.

Rushing away from her, head spinning as you turned to look at her. It wasn’t just this woman in the TARDIS with the two of you.  There were others. Some tan skinned man in purple walked forward to lean against his counterpart, the woman also dressed in purple. A boyish blond, sitting with his legs up against the console in a chair that you could only assume had been dragged here from somewhere else with how ornate it was. It looked like a more casual replica of a throne...

Bent over the console starting to manipulate the TARDIS was another man dressed in black. Before you could really determine anything about this man the purple duo approached.

“It’s almost cute how defensive she gets, like a feral, declawed kitten.”

The woman pinched you cheeks and laughed as your face grew hot at the attention. Lost at their actions you helplessly looked over at the Master for help. He wasn’t looking at you, taking over the controls from the other man. But that other man’s soft brown eyes drew you it as they met your helpless gaze.

“Master,” you whispered as you recognized the other man as another version of the one who brought you here.

Chances were that they were all some verson of the Master... you were in more danger than you had thought.

The verson you had made eye contact with approached you casually, taking you in fully.

“So this is who all the fuss has been about? Come along, my dear. It would be remiss of us to not show you to your room. This plan does involve you spending a decent amount of time with us after all.”

Entranced by the gentle tone of his voice you blindly followed him. This Master was so, polite and charming. How could you not be almost hypnotized by his demeaner? Your earlier panic faded away as he guided you with a gentle hand across your back.

started persona 3 tonight!

i'm playing p3 portable, on the switch because it was on sale a few months ago and i'd rather play it on there than try and find the charger to my PSP. i did play persona 3 on the PSP when it came out, but i only got 30 hours in, which basically means i haven't played it.

in the years since (and frankly, a lot in the past month with the remake) i have been spoiled for various parts of it, but i actually don't know a lot of the game's twists and turns, so i'm really looking forward to it. i am using a guide, because persona's format really stresses me out and i'd rather not worry about missing something vital in a game this long.

i really had no memory of it, though! i mean, i knew the broad strokes of the premise and everything, but i truly had no memory of the actual gameplay at all. and honestly, it's really charming! the 3D models are pretty dated, yeah, and the UI leaves some things to be desired, but it's a neat setup all the same.

the one thing that gives me pause is tartarus... i know it is the centerpiece of the game, but i'm pretty sure it's why i never beat it the first time. it's kind of a lot to conquer. from what i understand the remake smoothed out the experience somewhat, but alas, that is not a route i have available right now. (was 99% of my motivation to play this verson the female protagonist? you betcha.)

anyway, i'm only a little bit in, but i'm going to give it my best shot.

Fanfic Reccomendations (Loki)

 A/N: For you Loki lovers, I have the answers to your prayers. Since I have a dozen reccomendations, I have decided why not share my knowledge to the world? Now let me be clear, this has some Mr. Hiddleston one shots, while I can’t attest, to his one shots seeing I never read them, but any fanfics or authors I include they are amazing. So with that in mind here are some of my reccomendations.Through expect this to be updated alot!!!

BirdsOfHermes (A03 Author): Her works are spicy but have plot in them always. She is amazing at making long form stories yet an amazing charecter wove through them. Creature Comforts -  Short in chapters, but is well written and has an amazing female lead. Plus a sweet Loki. Mochie85: She has perfected the one-shot stories idea. Each of her one-shots are well written and tells a story. The connecting one shots are connected in that they have a plot, but you don't have to read the others sometimes.

Loki One Shots: My own Loki one shots fanfic that I hyping because I can. I will say the ones toward the end are pretty well written if I do say myself, then again I am bias. I mostly do Avengers Loki, and his name will likely be Loki Friggason, no y/n, since people don’t like it. It will be different readers yet all of them will bicker with Loki, because I love bickering. So yeah with that in mind if you want to vent reading some of my stuff then check it out. Stay With Me: It is so short but has a plot through out, I would also recommend the author. Her short that is friends with benefits one shot were amazing. I am not sure about the darker ones because I stay away from them. Oh No: A simply text gets sent problem is that text was never supposed to be seen. Get Over Him, Not Under Him: What was supposed to be friend with benfits seems to get derailed when the reader has a date with a certain avenger.  Cryable Loki Fanfic (Wattpad List): Each of the one-shot books has made me cry in the best of ways. Cryable Mr. Hiddleston One Shots (Wattpad List): Covers all of his charecters and are pretty good! Beauty and The Blood (Fanfic): I know it says rape, I have reassurence from the author that Loki doesn't and will not rape the reader. Any rough time is consent not unwanted. Trust me it is amazing. Beauty and The Blood (Audio): Basically the audio verson with one of the best Loki sounding voices ever. It is in case you want to hear a model for Loki's voice and don't feel like reading.

Loki Prompts (Tumblr): I would reccomend her one shots in particular, her Oh Funny Honey, and Rules to Midgard Dating make me cry in all of her best ways. Trust me she is worth the read!!

Quirky Turtle: Her By Hook or By Crook series is so spicy, but the first one in particular is amazing and makes me cry. Not to mention her fanfic of Reformed Villian Squad and it’s second part, Reinstallation and Clarifications makes me feel stuff.

Torn: A new work that I just discovered and has pinning Loki, and pinning reader, honestly it just gives me the best of the angst feels!

Friendzoned: Soon after the reader and Loki met, he friendzoned her, problem is the reader has feelings for him. Only complicating things more, the question is through did Loki truly friendzone because he doesn’t have feelings for her or is there more to it?

Lokiisprettygirl (author): Her fanfictions range from fluffy, to crying angst. Each other them so different from the other, yet always amazing. The grammer is on point!! Not to mention the story never feels rushed, something I can’t say towards some authors. Now if you are one of my non-spicy readers the one that are spicy and adult in content have a 18+ rating next to them. So watch out of them.

I was reading your old posts from years ago and I was reading one that was about how Danneel was a female version of Jared. OMG, you're right she really does. I love how the AAs at spn_gossip would always ignore that or very aggressively deny it. Something tells me that if Jared married a female version of Jensen then the AAs at spn_gossip would never not talk about it.

Oh you know that site would never let it go if Gen looked like a female verson of Jensen, it would be the cream in their cat's dish.

Backstory

The reigning queen of the Isles of Frost, the most perfect young lady. Regina prides herself in all fields of proper education as she tirelessly rules her kingdom with wisdom and a loving hand. A true bourgeois. Has elite taste, is very picky about whatever she gets her hands and if she's second place in whatever field she'll work until the gold is hers for the taking. She's crude but refined, a snob but knows how to be charismatic. She's kind but only her sister Anne-Sofia and the servants know the side of her. As much as she wants to show the world that she's perfectly fine, inside she has.....doubts. In her kingdom, the fae are not welcomed here. Many citizens believe that fairies are malevolent spirits that lure children into blizzards, steal food from men and drive families insane until they leave or be frozen to the bone. Of course they knew the forests housed the fairy kingdom but people were warned to never goes there without charms to scare away those vile creatures. King Bjorn, Regina's father was a good man. He was smart, a driven leader and caring to everyone. But his marriage was another story. Him and queen Elisebeth did care about each other but it wasn't love. They were only married to keep the public happy but it was really only show. Bjorn was always busy and avoided Elise even in the hallways, not even a kiss on the cheek or a smile. He was only affectionate when the camera's were on or when he wanted something from her, mainly a child. But Elise wouldn't bend to him. She has her needs but this wasn't the way to get her to sleep with him. But they needed to have an heir and she wanting someone who actually loved her. On one cold night she was by herself with her husband away on a business meeting. She was...needy and felt alone when suddenly a gust entered the room and from the cold breeze was a man. A man of blue skin, pointed ears and white hair dressed in regal clothes. No, that wasn't a man, that was a fae. The king of the ice fae Dain. He had seen her before and felt the frost lining her heart, he was here to warm it back up. Elisebeth knew this should be wrong. That fairies were dangerous but...he wasn't. He was kind and considerate and make sure that if she was truly uncomfortable he would leave immediately. She let him stay and warm both her heart and bed.

This continued until Bjorn got back and she told him that truth. He was furious, beyond mad but....she was pregnant. The king then agreed to the affair and allowed her to keep the child, but really all he wanted was an heir. So life continued with the kingdom having no idea their queen was sleeping with a fairy, and those two were falling in love. Soon the child was born but....she stuck out like a sore thumb. Blue almost white hair, blue fingertips that were freezing to the touch and pointed ears just like a fairy. Bjorn had to lie to the press when asked, saying little Regina was blessed by an angel. Of course now that he had a child Dain wasn't needed anymore, he was locked from the castle and Elise was forbidden to see him. She was livid, she wanted to start planning reforms for the people of the kingdom to start allowing fairies to visit for trade. Regina was a child of human and fae, now is the time for change. But Bjorn didn't listen. Little Regina was raised lovingly but was told to conceal her ears and learn to keep her powers in check. Soon the couple slept together, the only other time was on the wedding night and from it came another girl. Regina loved baby Anne-Sofia, the two were inseparably and were loved by everyone in the castle. Although everyone knew the marriage was over they never showed it around the children as Regina grew into quite the powerful little witch until.....that day. When she was ten and Anne was seven the couple went on an abroad trip to discussion political means and.....they never met it. Under the cover of night and jealously fueling him, King Bjorm killed his wife and threw the both of them overboard. The crew had no idea what happened so they were force to make up a story about a storm causing the couple to die. Now the girls were parent-less and Regina had to take the throne, not only that she learned that her fae side would be a danger to her sister if it was revealed so she hid. Placed on an air of being the perfectly strong capable daughter and queen and pressed on. Soon she was enrolled in an all girls academy, though regrettably had gotten into a magical duel with a ruffian tiger by the name of Petva. Once she had graduated early (it wasn't that hard) she applied for Night Raven College, as it's a school she has no familiarity with thus offering her a challenge. There she ended up joining the Ramshackle dorm and, overall will learn to break down her icey walls and let those she loves in.

Digimon: Three Days with the King of Vampires Day 1 Part 2

I'm sorry this took so long to come out. I went through so many versions of this chapter till I finally wrote a verson that I liked. Hope you enjoy it. I also made some changes to the previous two chapters, but the first chapter has the most obvious while the second chapter's are more subtle. Also, I'm sorry, but Day 1 will have to have a third part. I was struggling and it felt like the chapter was going on way too long than it really needed to.

Day 1 Part 2

After finishing their delicious breakfast, both Michi and Angewomon are heading back towards the guest quarters so that Michi can get ready for the day. "So, now that this is officially our first day here in GranDracmon's castle and by extension the Dark Area. What do you think we should do while staying here?" Asked the brunette as she glances up at her partner.

"I think we should find GranDracmon and ask him if he has any tasks for us to complete." She answered while coming to a stop, with Michi doing the same. "Back at the park yesterday. He selflessly gifted me so much power that I was able to beat that Tamer's Mega level Digimon and have them revert back to their Rookie form." Angewomon looks down at her hands, "If it wasn't for him for doing that. I would have certainly been killed that day, and you would've been left all alone." She then clenches her hands into tight fists. "I made a promise to you that I wouldn't leave your side, be the cause of your sorrow, and more importantly to make sure that no harm ever comes to you. And I intend to keep that promise by any means necessary! Everything I do, I do for you!" She stated firmly.

"Yes, my dear, I agree! Everything you do is for your partner."

"That... voice." The female Digimon muttered. She recognizes that voice belonging to GranDracmon. "While true you were given great power by me to help defeat your opponent. But remember it's through your close bond with Michi that actually gives you true power. Every battle you've overcome was because of Michi being there for you. Cheering you on to get back up and to keep on fighting. Never faltering at anything that blocks your path."

Everything the King of Vampires had just said made complete sense and she couldn't help but agree. "That's right, YOU'RE right. It was because of Michi I was able to Digivolve to what I am now. Our bond made that possible."

"And it'll be that bond that causes you to continue to grow in power. But you must be very wary my dear." Angewomon was confused by that last part in the sentence. "Wary of what?" She asked. "Digimon residing in the Dark Area firmly believe in the rumor of humans increasing their strength and getting closer to achieving Digivolution. While this is true, they're unaware of the circumstances. They think simply kidnapping a human and having them by their side will cause them to get stronger. Michi is a prime target for these kinds of Digimon outside of my castle."

Almost immediately the dark aura manifested itself around her. "I won't let that happen! If any of them dare think of trying to take her away from me! I'll make sure to give them a slow, painful death!" She said the last part quite darkly.

"Angewomon!" Shouted the brunette's voice suddenly. Hearing it snapped the angle Digimon out of whatever trance she was in. Looking down at the human, she notices a concerned look on her face. "Are you ok?" Asked the worried Michi, "You zoned out there for a minute. You were also muttering to yourself."

A little surprised to know that she was actually muttering everything she thought she was saying at normal speaking volume. The female digital monster assures her partner that she's fine and there's nothing to worry about. It didn't seem to convince Michi enough as she hoped, but it did get her to not question anything further. Though before they resumed their walk to Michi's new room. The brunette told the blonde she can talk to her about anything that might be bothering her. With Angewomon saying she knows and is grateful for the support.

After some time, the pair are back in the guest quarters section and are standing in front of the door leading into Michi's room. Though before entering inside, the teenage human tells her partner to stand guard outside as she's going to take a shower and she doesn't want anyone to enter.

Without question the holy Digimon nods her head. Opening the door and then closing it once on the other side, the brunette heads for the bathroom. Several minutes later, Michi is walking out of the steamy bathroom wearing a blue bathrobe.

She then makes her way towards the dresser for a change of clothes. Though when pulling out the top drawer, she's both confused and surprised to see it empty. Pushing it back in, she pulls the one below it open, only to meet the same result. All four of the drawers were completely empty. "How come the dresser has nothing in it but the wardrobe had a nightgown for me to change into?" She asked to no one in an annoyed tone. However, this realization gets her to quirk an eyebrow, "Wait a minute. Why did the wardrobe have a human size nightgown in it?" Michi shakes her head to focus and not think about that.

Turning so that the dirty clothes bin is in her line of sight. Inside the bin is her school uniform, the only clothes she literally had on her when coming to the Digital World. "I really don't want to put those back on." She moaned. Not really liking the idea of putting on worn clothes. "Fortunately for you my dear, you don't have to." Suddenly said a mysterious female's voice.

Before she can let out a scream of fright. Michi felt something covering her mouth, "It be best you don't scream darling. After all, we don't want your friend outside getting the wrong idea." Said the voice. Soon the object was removed, and the human quickly turns around to see a very tall, six-armed humanoid female Digimon with cyan skin standing only a few feet away from her.

"Who are you? And how did you get into my room?" She asked. Doing a small bow before introducing herself. "My name is Seamstressmon. A pleasure to make your acquaintance Michi." A little taken a back at the fact this Digimon knows her name. "How do you know my name?" Seamstressmon lets out a soft laugh and it sounded like as if she just heard a funny joke. "Darling, everyone by now has heard of a human residing inside of GranDracmon's castle. You're almost a celebrity."

"Oh right. I guess I would be the talk of the place." Said Michi with a hint of sheepishness in her voice. The Digimon nods her head, "Indeed. Also, to answer your other question of how I got in here without notice. The same way how your DemiDevimon servant can meet up with you regardless of wherever you might be. The casted shadows can act as doorways to those who have the ability to enter into them and then exit out of."

"That sounds very handy to help get around such a huge place like this. But it also explains how DemiDevimon got to us almost in an instant after shouting his name." Said Michi. "Though I have to ask. Why you are in my room right now?" Grinning under her veil, "I'm here is because I have something to give to you. And I must say that the timing couldn't have been more perfect if planned."
