call of the crow ellie: the adults i trusted aren't as perfect as they seem. there's a sinister plot going down, but as long as i have my friends, we can solve this. it will be scary, but we are more powerful than we think.
phoenix flight ellie: my mind and body have been morphed beyond recognition. i wouldn't be able to recognize the sparrow i once was. i think i'd kill her, actually. i think she would become something i hate. i feel like a monster and a scared little kid rolled into one. the world was broken by cruel people long before our time and now it's our turn to pay, and still everyone clings onto the person who hurts them. who hurts me. the only solution is total annihilation and i'm not strong enough for it, and the person that is has abandoned me. i have been betrayed and now my trust is worn, and now all it does is make me seem unkind to those who i love. there is nothing i can do. i welcome the end, no matter what it is.

Made a character color sheet thing for my protagonist, Kairo, for my Fireborn hellhound story. It's supposed to be part of what I'd like to be a very detailed character sheet. This is only a section of it. I also wanted to show off how he looks before and after he gains his scars.
While his build is meant to be similar to a coyote's, his size is close to a wolf's.

Fireborn - Reflections

The young German Metal/Hard Rock newcomer band Fireborn has released an album called "Reflections". It comprises 14 tracks that have a modern sound combined with influences of American hard rock and alternative rock. There's lots of atmosphere, energy, and catchy melodies.
Led by their charismatic singer and songwriter Jenny, Fireborn directly captivates the listener with the raw but always feminine and sensitive nature of her incomparable powerful hard rock and metal voice.
The band have an aggressive, hook-loaded sound, that will appeal to fans from Halestorm or In This Moment through their substantial, heavy rock tracks and emotional power ballads.
But the song 'You Seem So Far', differs slightly from the rest of the album. The lyrics are about losing a good friend that you can never see again. The band say, "That hurts for a lifetime. The only thing that remains are the memories you've collected throughout your life. No one can take those away from you."
Talking about the new album, Jenny says, “'Reflections' is about learning from your own mistakes and those of others, breaking new ground, and never losing hope."
You'll get carried away with this album. It will bring you back to stripped-down pure, classic rock and metal.

nothing beats the pure unintentional comedy of the fact that, at the height of the climax of the last book of the fireborn trilogy, dog, thorn, and zenith get 2.5 chapters dedicated to them being in a trapdoor room. and not being able to get out of a trapdoor room, because zenith is unconscious. truly the pacing of all time

Crystal is an Iceborn, and she has a genetic anomaly called “Shimmer-Wing”, giving her feathers a pink tint.
Myst is a Thunderborn, a hybrid of an Iceborn and a Lightningborn (named for Thunder Snow). He’s blind, and thanks to the combined empathic abilities of his parent species, is somewhat prophetic. He can’t see into the future, but he does get senses of whats about to happen.
And finally, Ember. He’s a Fireborn, and crown prince of his tribe, hence the fancy dangling crown.
These guys are basically my children, and I am working on a story about them, it’s just going pretty slow. Would you be interested in reading their tales?
