✦ some fun facts about cece!
Tumblr media
cecilia (cece) was born on december 11th, 2004 in detroit, michigan!
she has two sisters and a little brother whom she adores endlessly, she would literally die for any of them
her two older sisters (gigi and nicolette) are both in the medical field and are her biggest mentors, they give her motivation and inspiration
gigi is the oldest and she is turning 30 in october, she is married and has one daughter and son (faye and joey) whom cece would actually take a bullet for, she loves them so much
gigi graduated med school in 2020 as a physician!
nicolette is the second eldest, she is 24 years old and she is still in nursing school, trying to become a nurse practitioner
her little brother (felix) and he is 10 years old
she spoils the hell out of him, she tries to visit him every chance she gets because he is her rock in many ways
cece is studying civil engineering at ohio state
she lives with a roommate (amelia) who has slowly became one of her closest friends!
her favorite drink of all time is chai and she will never bend, she has drank a chai every morning since she was 15
amelia loves matcha and cece loves chai, that's why they work so well
she is the biggest shitty rom-coms fan, every friday she gets down to some shitty hallmark movie and calls it a night
but her all time favorite series would be twilight, she can't count how many times she's watched it
her favorite sport is volleyball, it always has and always will
adam will try to convince her otherwise, though
more will be added as the au progresses!

I know you said you're not doing time travel-related episodes in the SLau, but I was wondering where they'd fit into the timeline? Like, which seasons/which episode numbers they'd be using your organisation? Purely out of curiosity, since you're not doing the rabbit miraculous/time travel, and there's no pressure for an answer, just wondering where you'd place them in the timeline
Alright, you asked for it. This is an alternate universe where the Pandemic didn't happen btw, for my own sanity:

Timeline 8 June - July 2023
For completeness and to consult when there’s discussion about his whereabouts. In addition to the previous timelines.
Timeline 8 covers 1 June 2023 - 31 July 2023
For previous dates see timeline 7
OL promo for S7 starts on June 1st 2023 at ATX TV Festival in Texas with CB and Maril as the women panel.
Tumblr media
4 June S arrived in NYC, the next day he's spotted, first of the many pics and videos you can find in my archive, around the dates between 4 and 13 June and around the events, GMA, Live with Kelly and Mark, The Today Show, HSC/92NY, video and video on YT, and the premiere at Tribeca of which many pics and video's and the panel, including the afterparty at Veronika NYC.
On 10 June he was spotted at the airport in Brussels, returning for filming TCND in the next week. Though no pics from filming, his sm times confirm filming, especially the nightshoots. He recorded a podcast with Alex Z as well from Belgium in this week.
On Sunday 18 June he is seen at a sports event in Ratingen (Germany). He's spotted with GE. The next day, 19 June he's spotted at an airport, even though the fan posting the pic doesn't say what airport, it's pretty obvious it's Düsseldorf International Airport, close to Ratingen. She didn't know where he was heading.
While there's already a pic from the 'TCND-camping' in Malmedy posted on Tuesday 27 June and a fun story on 28 June. Confirmation on 29 June, he's there as well on a video of a chair dance and foam slide with the crew and many pics, videos, footage from all the BTS fun. Footage from the night shoot on Friday 30 June as well, all in Malmedy as a local newspaper article reported.
A fan pic was taken in Brussels on Sunday 2 July, the fan confirming he's hanging around with Eleanor Tomlinson. Monday 3 July seems to be another night shoot and other days of the week as well. Friday 8 July a story of an ice truck on set for the crew and cast, thanking Sam for it, is posted.
As of Monday 10 July, the crew is filming stunt driving near Theux in the Liege region, on Tuesday 11 July S posts a call sheet and some animals in his stories from the Safari park nearby. Joel Morris posts they've wrapped (for their parts)
Tumblr media
Though not sure if he's involved in scenes after the post on Tuesday, filming went on and on Friday 14 July was officially wrapped. Our hopes of seeing some glimpse of the wrap party on Friday night got rewarded with some pics and a video.
Already the next day, Saturday 15 July, he's spotted at the airport of Miami by a fan.
On 16 July he was spotted by a fan on the beach at W Hotel South Beach. The story was posted RT but only later on discovered as a post.
On 21 July he posted some pics of a trip to Key West on his IG
Meanwhile the full list of his booze events SS tour was posted
On 23 July, a pic was posted in his stories, showing him and AN, he tagged an event in NOLA. In the next days several pics and videos were posted showing their activities. They stayed until Wednesday 26 July.
Thursday 27 July, the first stop of the SS tour was in Florida, where some thought they need to be there at 4am. Others just found the back entrance and when leaving they practically were in his car. After the signing session, he shows up in the South bar/restaurant Canyon in Ft Lauderdale, the South bar & kitchen in Pompano as well as the YOT Bar&Kitchen apparently doing some pop-up SS events.
The next day, 28 July he's a spot on South Florida Live tv shown at the nbs6 website.
On 30 July he pops up at the Si Si restaurant and resort at the Sunday Brunch as surprise guest serving some cocktails and drinks and apparently got interviewed for the Hamptons Social. He's there with his team and photographer.
On 31 July he's papped in NYC by backgrid in running outfit with AN.

US intends to send second aircraft carrier to the coast of Israel
The ship was already scheduled to be deployed, but the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, could order it to the eastern Mediterranean.
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 10/10/2023 - 22:42in Military, War Zones
The U.S. may soon have two aircraft carriers in the Eastern Mediterranean, according to Department of Defense officials, a measure that would mark a major escalation of U.S. military power in the region as fighting intensifies between Israeli forces and Hamas militants.
The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, along with his warships and associated fighters, was already scheduled to depart from Norfolk, Virginia, this week and may receive an order to travel to the waters off the coast of Israel, according to two Department of Defense officials who asked for anonymity when discussing future operations.
Tumblr media
The Eisenhower group has long been scheduled to be deployed and operate near Europe, Department of Defense spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Bryon McGarry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The ship is scheduled to leave Norfolk on Friday and can reach the eastern Mediterranean by the end of October if requested, said one of the department's officials. At this point, the Eisenhower would join the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R Ford and its attack group, which the Pentagon ordered to the waters off Israel on Sunday as a show of force after the surprise attacks on southern Israel.
Tumblr media
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin will continue to review the deployment plans of both ships, “while considering the appropriate balance of maritime capacity in all theaters of operations in support of national security priorities,” McGarry said.
The rare decision to potentially have two aircraft carriers, which are accompanied by cruisers, destroyers and fighters as part of their attack groups, in the same area would be an important signal to Hamas that the U.S. military is supporting Israel as much as possible.
Tumblr media
The Pentagon sent two aircraft carriers to the Middle East in March 2020, in a context of growing tension with Iran. At the time, both Eisenhower and the USS Harry S. Truman, with their respective escorts, operated in the Arabian Sea.
But the double aircraft carrier strategy has severely overloaded the Navy in the past, with force leaders warning that it was unsustainable. Aircraft carriers are highly sought after around the world and are usually spread across different regions.
The Wall Street Journal first reported that the U.S. was considering sending Eisenhower to the coast of Israel.

Set on the Coxe Family Farm in rural Willis County, Farmer Sam exacts his bloody revenge on unscrupulous local town-folk, including Sheriff Jubel, who menace him and attempt to steal the farm that has been in his family for 200 years.
Tumblr media
Inspired by the real haunted hayride executive producer and farmer Bob Lange used to have on his family's multi-generation pumpkin farm back in the 80s and 90s, the film is a cult-horror classic in the making that dually highlights the charm and necessity of preserving Pennsylvania's family farms. The film is directed by Dan Lantz from a screenplay Kristina Chadwick and Robert Lange.
Tumblr media
Horror legends Kane Hodder (best known for his portrayal of Jason Voorhees in the FRIDAY THE 13th Franchise) and Bill Moseley (THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2) meet their match in HAYRIDE TO HELL. Joining the cast is veteran genre actor Bill Moseley’s daughter Marion Moseley.

5 YEARS
Eric Munchel, the Nashville man known as "zip-tie guy," has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Judge Royce C. Lamberth sentenced Munchel and his mother and codefendant Lisa Eisenhart at the U.S. District Court in Washington on Friday.
Lamberth sentenced Munchel to 57 months of incarceration and three years of supervised release, said U.S. District Court Judicial Clerk Jason Onyediri. Lamberth gave Eisenhart, from Woodstock, Georgia, a lesser sentence of 30 months of incarceration with the same three years of supervised release, her attorney Greg Smith of Washington said. Smith said both Munchel and Eisenhart were also ordered to pay $2,000 each in restitution.
Munchel's sentence is among the longest of more than 1,000 Jan. 6 defendants. He received the maximum sentence prosecutors calculated under federal guidelines.
Prosecutors say on Jan. 4, 2021, Munchel and Eisenhart drove from Nashville, where Munchel worked as a bartender, to Washington to participate in election protest rallies scheduled for Jan. 5-6.
They arrived at the Capitol on Jan. 6 wearing tactical vests, while Munchel also wore a Taser holstered at his hip and his cell phone mounted on his chest. Munchel’s cell phone recorded a 50-minute video that captured most of their approach and entry to the Capitol building, which prosecutors used as evidence in their case against the pair.
Once inside the Capitol, Munchel and Eisenhart found zip ties that they carried around, which prosecutors argued they planned to use to restrain members of Congress. An infamous photograph captured Munchel holding the zip ties as he climbed over a railing in the gallery of the Senate chambers, where 30 minutes before Congress was meeting to certify the results of the 2020 election.
Originally charged mainly with trespassing charges, the charges against Munchel and Eisenhart expanded in October to include obstruction, conspiracy, disorderly conduct and unauthorized entry. Munchel was found guilty of additional charges for carrying a deadly or dangerous weapon on Capitol grounds for arming himself with a Taser.
Lamberth found the mother and son guilty of all 10 charges against them at a bench trial in April after they forewent their right to a jury trial.
Prosecutors wrote in a sentencing memorandum on Aug. 31 that they hoped the sentences deter the defendants and others from behaving similarly in the future.
"With the 2024 presidential election approaching, a rematch on the horizon, and many loud voices in the media and online continuing to sow discord and distrust, the potential for a repeat of January 6 looms ominously," prosecutors wrote. "The Court must sentence Munchel and Eisenhart in a manner sufficient to deter them specifically, and others generally, from going down that road again."
Several other Tennesseans have been sentenced for their roles in the attack at the U.S. Capitol. You can read about their sentences here.

October 24, 2022 - Monday | Fall Challenges 13/30 + 9/30
💔 Not gonna lie today was Not it. I taught 4 classes online and then was so tired from it. Then I really wanted to go on a walk but (1) I was left at home to look after some things so I couldn’t just abandon it and go (2) I don’t have anyone to walk with… it’s quite a walk and I’m not really motivated to walk it by myself. Seems long and pointless and feels like 3,000 miles without a friend to walk with. Honestly today is easily a day taken from august 2020 and it sucks to be back there again 😭 pics r from Friday
What would make you happy right now? If someone randomly messaged me and was like ‘hey do u wanna walk to the [library] together?’ Or if I got a call from my boss saying ‘we found someone to teach your classes, so you can take a break.’ 😭
What is the best place to study in the autumn? A library for sure. You walk through scattered yellow leaves to get to it, the warm sun complements the chilly breeze. You find a desk on the second floor with a good view of the trees and sometimes lose yourself in the scenery instead of working. On the way back rain drizzles against your umbrella, the chilly breeze has become a nose-nipping wind. Only a short walk till you’re home and warm again 🍂🍃

🇺🇲 WRITERS GUILD WILL VOTE ON NEW CONTRACT WITH HOLLYWOOD BOSSES AND CORPORATIONS
The Writer's Guild of America, a joint organization comprising some 11'500 members of the Writer's Guild of America, East and the Writer's Guild of America West, will vote from October 2nd through October 9th on a new contract with the bosses of corporate Hollywood, represented by the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
Union members were sent back to work one minute after midnight (PST), September 27th after striking for 146 days. The new contract covers the period of September 25th 2023 through May 1st 2026.
"This allows writers to return to work during the ratification process, but does not affect the membership's right to make a final determination on contract approval" according to the bargainers.
Though the Writer's Guild of America may be returning to work, Hollywood is still not fully open for business as 160'000 members of the Screen-Actor's Guild (SAG-AFTRA) remain on strike Friday against the AMPTP, largely over the same issues as the WGA. Both strikes have been highly popular with the public.
Complaints by the Unions' membership include low pay, lack of residuals, too high a floor before workers are eligible for benefits, and particularly worrying, the AMPTP's use of AI to copy a performer's body, face, motions, and words in single-day sessions in which the content collected can be used forever without pay.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Minimum Pay for most writers will increase by 5% upon ratification and again by 4% and 3.5% on the 2nd of May in each of the following two years. Other increases will be a straight 3%. There will also be larger contributions to Health and Pension programmes, along with strong protections against the use of AI to generate content.
“The WGA reserves the right to assert that exploitation of writers’ material to train AI is prohibited by” the contract or by Laws.
There will also be large increases in the amount compensated for streaming videos, and the residuals will now be based on total viewership rather than just United States viewership, which has been the practice in Hollywood for some time.
“When a feature-length project is made for streaming with a budget of $30 million or more, the minimum initial compensation for a story and teleplay is $100,000, an 18% increase from the current rate and a 26% increase in the residual base,” according to the contract summary.
“Combined with the foreign residual improvements, this results in a 3-year residual of $216,000 for projects on the largest services, a 49% increase from $144,993 under the 2020” contract.
In a statement, the Screen-Actor's Guild wrote, “SAG-AFTRA congratulates the WGA on reaching a tentative agreement with the AMPTP after 146 days of incredible strength, resiliency, and solidarity on the picket lines. While we look forward to reviewing the WGA and AMPTP’s tentative agreement, we remain committed to achieving the necessary terms for our members.”
“Since the day the WGA strike began, SAG-AFTRA members have stood alongside the writers on the picket lines. We remain on strike in our TV/Theatrical contract and continue to urge the studio and streamer CEOs and the AMPTP to return to the table and make the fair deal that our members deserve and demand.”

On the evening of Jan. 8, U.S. President Joe Biden took to Twitter to condemn an invasion of government buildings by a violent mob. Hours after a crowd vandalized the National Congress, Supreme Court, and presidential palace in Brasília, the official @POTUS account bashed the “assault on democracy and on the peaceful transfer of power in Brazil.”
It all felt like déjà vu. Almost to the day, Brazil was seeing a remake of the Jan. 6, 2021, storming of the U.S. Capitol, which sought to prevent Congress from certifying Biden’s 2020 election victory. A day after Brazil’s insurrection, Biden called new Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to convey his “unwavering support” for the country’s democracy. The two decided to meet in Washington in February and are convening on Friday.
Now, together at the White House, Biden and Lula must face the uncomfortable reality that the two insurrections that sought to overturn their respective election victories are parts of the same plot. What’s more, Brazil’s iteration would likely never have occurred had the United States not experienced what it did on Jan. 6, 2021. The two attacks were in many ways fueled by U.S. social media companies’ reluctance to police disinformation related to the election results—and Brazil’s was empowered by the U.S. justice system’s failure so far to hold former U.S. President Donald Trump to account. Though Biden was not involved personally in either riot, as U.S. president he has a unique responsibility to help Lula combat anti-democratic forces in Brazil.
Trump’s Big Lie—which falsely claims that he won the 2020 U.S. presidential election and more generally that recent U.S. elections have been riddled with fraud—did not start after the 2020 election. Trump has promulgated the narrative since 2016. “I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally,” he tweeted just 19 days after being elected via the Electoral College (but losing the popular vote).
Since the 2021 insurrection, Trump’s claims have emboldened far-right politicians all over the world. In June of that year, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried to undermine a vote that gave power to the opposition by saying, “We are witnessing the greatest election fraud in the history of the country.” His narrative included a conspiracy about a so-called deep state and calling the media a “propaganda machine enlisted in favor of the left.” That same month, Peruvian presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori promoted her own Big Lie about election fraud while she delayed conceding to Pedro Castillo (who would later be ousted by Peru’s Congress).
But nowhere was Trump’s Big Lie replicated as eagerly as in Brazil. Former President Jair Bolsonaro copied so many of Trump’s rhetorical tactics to undermine trust in elections that they sounded almost like a Portuguese-language dubbing of the U.S. president. After his inauguration in 2019, Bolsonaro claimed that he had won the election by a bigger margin than he had in reality. And ahead of last October’s contest against Lula, Bolsonaro’s administration promoted—and then pushed for a behind-the-scenes investigation of—bogus claims of widespread fraud in Brazil’s electronic voting system. Bolsonaro’s allies even made a last-minute attempt to halt the Oct. 30 runoff vote by claiming that Brazil’s electoral court was preventing radio stations from airing the same number of ads for Lula’s and Bolsonaro’s parties—a Brazilian version of Trump’s “Stop the Count.”
It’s no accident that Brazil’s insurrection so closely mirrored the one in the United States. The far-right movements in the two countries are deeply interconnected.
Ties between the Bolsonaro family and Trump aides date back to 2018. That year, Eduardo Bolsonaro—the former president’s third son and a member of Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies—met with former Trump strategist Steve Bannon and soon after became the South American representative of the Movement, a coalition of far-right extremists in Europe and Latin America that Bannon had founded. In a September 2022 interview with BBC News Brazil, Bannon praised the then-Brazilian president’s expertise in engaging his supporters through social media and said both he and Eduardo have “charisma” that is lacking in U.S. politics. He also acknowledged that he spent a lot of his time “talking backstage” with the Bolsonaros during the 2022 Brazilian presidential campaign. Two of Bolsonaro’s other sons, Carlos and Flávio, are also deeply involved in the former president’s political enterprise; Carlos manages his social media profiles.
Since Bannon and Eduardo Bolsonaro met, Eduardo has spent a great deal of time in the United States, meeting at least 80 times with members of the U.S. far right. He was even in Washington in the days before and after Jan. 6, 2021. The grounds for his visit are still not clear; at the time, the Brazilian Embassy in Washington said the foreign ministry was not aware of the trip. While in Washington in January 2021, Eduardo met with Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, as well as MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, who is reported to have suggested that Trump should declare martial law to stay in power.
The elder Bolsonaro, for his part, did not condemn the attempted U.S. insurrection, stating that “there were people who voted three, four times, dead people who voted,” which is false. He used Trump’s Big Lie to say Brazil needed paper ballots in its own elections, otherwise “we [in Brazil] will have a problem worse than the United States.”
After Bolsonaro’s family and close allies helped spread Trump’s Big Lie, key actors in the “Stop the Steal” campaign also planted the seeds of mistrust in Brazil’s electoral system.
In August 2021, Eduardo was a keynote speaker at an event Lindell hosted in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where the businessman promised he would reveal proof of election fraud in 2020. (His attempt to do so failed miserably.) On stage, Eduardo attacked Brazil’s electronic voting system, saying, “You dial the number of your candidate and pray to God that your vote will be correctly counted.” Bannon, who was sitting by his side, then claimed that the 2022 Brazilian election would be “the second most important in the world and the most important of all time in South America. Bolsonaro will win unless it is stolen by, guess what, the machines.”
Bannon was among the first to call on Bolsonaro not to concede to Lula last October; he did so on a Gettr livestream just hours after results showed Bolsonaro’s defeat. Bolsonaro never conceded—and remained publicly silent for 44 hours after the election results were announced while his supporters violently blocked roads and camped in front of military premises. He did not condemn them and left the country for Florida two days before the end of his term.
Now, as Lula and Biden meet, Bolsonaro remains in the United States. And with the news that the former Brazilian president recently applied for a six-month U.S. tourist visa, his presence is becoming more uncomfortable for the U.S. political establishment. Several House Democrats have called for the Biden administration to order Bolsonaro out of country, as more information surfaces about his role in a wider plot to subvert Brazil’s election. While Brazilian authorities have so far said there are no grounds to request Bolsonaro’s extradition, recent developments in ongoing investigations into the Jan. 8 attacks have placed Bolsonaro at the heart of a plot to overturn last October’s election results.
Apparently seeking to make a comeback as the darling of the extreme right, Bolsonaro spoke at an event at a Trump golf course in Miami last Friday hosted by the far-right organization Turning Point USA. Some of Bolsonaro’s most prominent Brazilian supporters, such as YouTuber Allan dos Santos and businessman Paulo Figueiredo—once a business partner of Trump in Rio de Janeiro—are also based in the United States, engaging in Portuguese-language disinformation campaigns aimed at Brazilian audiences from U.S. soil.
The Biden administration has a responsibility to help fight ongoing threats to Brazil’s democracy. Many of the people spreading disinformation in Brazil are based in the United States—Bolsonaro included. They have also mostly spread their lies on U.S.-run social media sites—platforms that suffer a lack of oversight due to Washington’s failures to pass substantive tech regulations. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the continued failure to hold Trump legally accountable for the U.S. Capitol riot sends the message that anyone can use the Big Lie as a valid political strategy and get away with it.
The Biden administration must take a decisive stance on these issues. U.S. and Brazilian authorities should coordinate on not only Bolsonaro’s status but his supporters’ actions in U.S. territory. One U.S. law makes it a crime to organize or help an attempt to overthrow a government. But it is unclear whether this could apply to Bolsonaro and his followers. Can repeating a false claim about the legitimacy of an election be framed as an attempt to overthrow a government?
The White House should also pressure U.S. social media companies to better moderate foreign-language content and engage with foreign authorities on how best to curb threats to democracy in other countries. Research shows that Silicon Valley has failed to properly combat election-related disinformation in non-English languages. The bulk of Meta’s 2022 election-monitoring resources, for example, were geared toward the U.S. midterms, despite the Meta-owned WhatsApp having been central to the spread of election-related falsehoods in countries such as Brazil.
Finally, the U.S. Justice Department’s investigations into Trump must move forward. While Biden has rightly stayed away from the investigations to avoid the suggestion of political interference—and should continue to do so—their slow pace has cast doubt on whether justice will be achieved at all, particularly as Trump campaigns for the 2024 U.S. presidential election amid growing calls to “move on.” To the outside world, the message so far is that the main culprit of Jan. 6, 2021, is getting away with it—and political forces in Brazil are watching attentively.
The Brazilian justice system, by contrast, has moved more swiftly in the wake of the Jan. 8 attacks to combat anti-democratic forces. The day of the invasion, Lula ordered federal security services to intervene in Brasília. A few weeks later, Lula fired the head of the army who resisted punishing a military officer with close ties to Bolsonaro who is under investigation.
These steps notwithstanding, bilateral collaboration between Biden and Lula is essential to protect democracies worldwide. Today, the two leaders’ response must be strong and their message clear: We will not let the Big Lie become the new normal. Democracy will win.

September is a “6” Universal Month [9 (September) + 6 (2022) = 15 = 1+5=6] in a “6” universal year. The number 6 is all about striving for balance and harmony and you will see this general energy reflected throughout the month as it heightens the energy of our year. A lot has happened since January: both Mercury and Venus retrograded in Capricorn and Aquarius in conjunction with the planet Pluto, Venus then experienced a rough besiegement between Mars and Saturn in Aquarius, and we’ve been under the constant strain of year two of our Saturn-Uranus square which is being further activated by our lunar nodes in Taurus and Scorpio and our Sun, Mercury, and Venus every time that they transit one of the fixed signs. All of the stop/go push/pull energy that has been accumulating all year long is coming to a head and it is highlighting for us what isn’t working for us anymore so that we can either fix it or move on.
Like back in January, we will have to deal with a tenuous Mercury retrograde from air back into earth which highlights that talking about it isn’t enough – grounded action is in order at this time. Virgo likes to fix things – we can use this to our advantage.
The Set Up
We begin the month with the Sun in Virgo, Mercury in its pre-retrograde shadow in Libra, Venus in Leo, Mars in Gemini, Jupiter retrograde in Aries, Saturn retrograde in Aquarius, Uranus retrograde in Taurus, Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. The big news bears are three-fold. One, the Saturn-Uranus square is deepening towards the point where our two giants will be within one degree of one another later this year. Two, Mercury will retrograde at 08° Libra this month and Mars will enter its shadow at 08° Gemini.
By month’s end, our Sun will be in Libra, and Mercury and Venus will reside in Virgo. All of our other planets will have remained in their respective signs otherwise. Other than the retrograde season shift, there isn’t a lot of other transit activity during the month of September which shows that the lunarly aspects may have greater influence than in some months.
The Details
If September feels flight and untethered, it is almost by design. There are relatively few aspects going on compared to the past few months which will strongly emphasize a few key points. The two main things to watch out for are our upcoming Mercury and Mars retrogrades (Mercury will retrograde this month and Mars at the end of October) and the continual impact that the moon is having on our ever-tightening Saturn-Uranus square. By mid-month, Saturn and Uranus will be within one degree of each other which is going to exert a lot of pressure. This is the same energy we’ve been experiencing for a year and a half now but it won’t release until Scorpio season – expect things to be tense all month long.
There isn’t a lot going on during the first half-week of September. On Thursday 9/1, Mars in Gemini makes a quick sextile to retrograde Jupiter in Aries which could be a quick windfall if you are willing to let it be but we are already being stressed by the moon in Scorpio opposing Uranus in Taurus late Thursday night and squaring off with Saturn early on Friday morning. Whatever it is, we want to do something about it. But wait.
Mars enters its shadow at 08° Gemini on Saturday. This is, in some ways, the Big News Bears of both the month of September and October. Mars will retrograde on 10/30 and will remain in backward motion through the rest of the year. This energy is very similar to that of our Saturn-Uranus square: you can’t get there from here.
This is Right on Time, even if it doesn’t feel this way. Mars retrogrades about every two years and was last retrograde in the fall of 2020 in the sign of Aries. Mars retrograde in Gemini is a reminder to think before you act. Or even, to think AFTER you act. Just think about your actions at all. This will be harder for some than others – perhaps especially hard for Aries and Scorpio types who aren’t on good terms with self-reflection or anybody who has Mars in Gemini in their natal charts.
This is the pre-retrograde shadow which means that we may find that we fall in a few more Marsian holes than normal. These things are our stopping points – the red flags and long nights – watch what comes up for you know and it will almost inevitably repeat itself as Mars retrogrades later this year and then, perhaps for a third time, when Mars is direct during 2023.
The first full week of September may feel liminal and deep. Mercury will be at a complete stand-still all week as our planet of communication and travel prepares to retrograde at 08° Libra on Friday 9/9. Note the recurring numbers here: Mars entering its shadow at 08° Gemini, Mercury retrograding at 08° Libra – though these two personal planets will not fall into aspect with each other during this time – they are both carrying with them some of the 8 energy of the ouroboros – the eternal cycle of repeated lessons throughout our lives. Mercury will be retrograde through the rest of the month (they station direct on 10/02) so keep in mind that everything may run a bit slower during this time. Check your work, proofread thrice, and don’t expect to travel in a straight line (no matter where you are going) – all of the standard Mercury retrograde “warnings” apply.
This energy will lead immediately into a nebulous full moon at 17° Pisces the next day on Saturday 9/10. This will be a great day for Neptunian activities like divination, pathfinding, meditation, or other very esoteric pursuits and not a whole lot else. This is energy better sat with than acted on though Saturn and Uranus may have other things in mind. I expect the energy of the full moon to be somewhat muted by this energy, somewhat deeper.
The energy going forward into the week on 9/12 is just going to deepen from there. On Wednesday, the moon in Taurus meets up with the North Node and retrograde Uranus and squares off with retrograde Saturn – this is the gong bell of the Saturn-Uranus square. We may feel the need to hunker down and get prepared for something – the energy will be intense and downward trending. Stay aware if you are prone to periods of melancholy. The Sun in Virgo will oppose retrograde Neptune in Pisces on Friday 9/16 which may be the nadir of this energy. Venus in Virgo will be squaring off with Mars in Gemini the same day which may direct our already downcast mode towards our others.
Something is coming to a culmination all month. September, being a Number 9 month, is by its nature a month of endings. We will all get a peek at fate on the weekend of 9/17 – the day after Venus and Mars square, Venus will trine the North Node and Mars will sextile Chiron. Two paths are diverging in the woods – if you take the less traveled one, you will be walking the path of the Wanderer (retrograde Mercury, aka Mercury Chthonia) but as always, the choice is up to you.
On Sunday 9/18, the Sun in Virgo trines retrograde Pluto in Capricorn and retrograde Mercury opposes retrograde Jupiter. We will all likely still be very in it but if you have found your path, there is a way forward. Trust the white rabbit.
By now, the energy is getting so deep that it’s almost subterranean. That won’t happen until 9/23 when the Sun and Mercury cross each other at 00° Libra in opposite directions and then Mercury moves backward into the mutable earth sign of Virgo. This is a beautiful actualization of the seasonal energy that we Northern Hemisphere witches and other magical practitioners associate with the turning of the seasons. It is almost as if Mercury is kindly taking our hands and bringing us into the Hallows season.
But then, once you step over the threshold you realize that you were already here. It’s just going to be that kind of month.
Keep your traveling protections on all month if you’re the superstitious type. Take a walk around your neighborhood to remind yourself that every day is a journey. Be in the moment. This astrological weather calls for reverence and awareness. These retrogrades are a gift from the sky gods – you just have to let them be. You just have to breathe with the planets rather than struggle against them.
We’ll be feeling it all month, there’s no way around it. Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune on Saturday 9/24 while the dark moon moves through Virgo. You may not be the same person that you were at the start of September – embrace that. That is the journey.
The new moon at 02° Libra on Sunday 9/26 will be uncharacteristically deep for a Libra lunar event. Though many of us are drawn together during Autumn, we may find a need for solitude that is uncharacteristic for the season. Mercury is still conjunct to the Sun and Moon but they will be out of phase in some way due to their separate signs. We need to go back to the drawing board about something. Somebody might be getting critical. Try to keep egos out of it and let retrograde Mercury do its best work. The Sun and Moon may try to turn the fix-it energy onto their relationships but that isn’t wise unless all members of that relationship are amenable to a great deal of scrutiny and stress.
Monday 9/26 might be the pick of the month. That said, we might all be too exhausted to utilize its energy. Mercury and Venus meet up in Virgo and for a trine to Pluto in Capricorn, and the Sun in Libra opposes retrograde Jupiter in Aries. If you’re willing to let all the chips fall where they may, this is a day to have a good day. If you’re not, proceed with caution.
Mercury makes its second trine to Pluto in Capricorn on Tuesday 9/27 which may feel like a big hit from the fate train. Pluto, our planet of death and transformation, has had an intricate part in all three of Mercury’s retrograde cycles this year. If something comes to the surface from January-February or April-May that you thought was dead and buried, that’s why. Mars in Geminis trine to Saturn the next day shows that even if we want to do something about it, we probably won’t be able to muster the energy to get anywhere.
Out of gas. I don’t even know what that means but somebody needed to hear it.
Getting nowhere fast. By month’s end, September may feel like a blur. You might wonder where your time went or what you were doing. If you have a lot of deadlines for the month, get on them early and try to set a soft deadline of 9/9 (the date of the retrograde) for the first drafts of anything written. Don’t push things and you’ll get there eventually.
You can visit my blog to see the exact transits for the month.
Do you like my work? You can support me over on Kofi by purchasing an astrology report from me, buying some art, or simply throwing a coin for your local astrologer. Right now I'm offering Mercury retrograde transit reports (available until 9/9).

Day 15: time is long
I wrote a love letter about my weird timeline listening to friends at the table that is very rambly and doesn't have much of a point and is a little personal and I'm putting it under a readmore because I'm shy and going to throw my phone into the ocean after this posts
This July marks a full year since I got back into friends at the table. I watched the NNAF stream live, the first day at work since it was my last day (what were they gonna do, fire me?), and the second day at home, half dozing through the first three hours because I wasn't used to being up at 9am on a Monday. The Marielda one shot and stretch reward of a Hieron epilogue finally piqued my interest in that campaign, and I started Autumn in Hieron the next day.
It had been probably a year and a half since I'd listened to any day at that point, back in October 2020 (the 23rd, to be exact, according to my discord DMs) a friend of mine got me interested and I started listening to COUNTER/weight. I blew through it in a couple weeks, finishing it on November 17th, and it has the high honor of being one of the only pieces of media to make me cry after finishing it before I was medicated. I jumped straight into Twilight Mirage, but only made it about halfway before I quit the job I'd been working, and fell off of it, because I'd been using my 8hr shifts to burn through episodes. Despite quitting my job Again just as I was getting back on though, last year it stuck and I caught up with the entire backlog of podcast, including Bluff City, in maybe… four or five months if I remember right? It truly caught me by the throat.
Now, I'm fully caught up and staying on top of weekly releases better, being employed helps so I have a dedicated task to do while listening. It's become a regular fixture of my life and I've been thinking about voices defining a time in your life, and how summer 2022 will forever be my summer of friends at the table. The friends were my constant companion, I listened to the least amount of music that year than I maybe ever have, my spotify wrapped minutes on music were dwarfed by the nearly ~700 hours of podcast (spotify is easier to binge with at work, and I like stats).
This podcast reignited my creativity and drive after an art slump and brought me closer with one of my cherished friends, it taught me things about storytelling and political theory, it forced me to process old grief while sobbing for two hours straight after finishing Marielda. I could probably keep going, but being vulnerable makes me want to dig a very deep hole and lie in it forever, and honestly if any of the cast does see this I think I might die if I put anything too personal in it.
I'm not sure where the point I was leading to went. This podcast is like a reliable clock (hah) to me. It's my Friday work treat when seasons are live, Animal Out of Context can lull me to sleep in less than 30 minutes, Orbital made me laugh so hard I nearly cried in front of my coworker. Having something become such a north star in your life, especially something close to the ground like this, is fun and weird and scary all at the same time. I went from barely paying attention to ttrpg news to The PBTA Guy in my friendgroup in a matter of months. I still cry if I think about The Chime or Hella or Maelgwyn or Fero or Lem too hard. I'm getting a tattoo based on C/W at some point for gods sake.
Anyway. It's amazing how time and passion can worm it's way into your heart. Keep telling stories, keep loving eachother, I'm going to go dig a deep hole now, mwah
