Холодное сердце - сказка о мёртвых

Рунард.

Убит по канону, как жизнь за жизнь вождя Нортулдры. Но мне всё же кажется, что во всём остальном он был добрым и только магию мечтал истребить. Сына он любил — по крайней мере, Агнар не стоял рядом с ним, как по струнке, а вёл себя вполне расслабленно. Да и сам Рунард не бросал на сына упрекающие взгляды, и более того, улыбался ему. По крайней мере, он был не самым разумным королём, но хорошим отцом.

Идуна и Агнар.

По канону погибли на корабле, в море, во время шторма. И, вот здесь, пожалуй, начинаются первые странности. Если Идуна управляла магией, то почему не попыталась унять шторм, не попросила духов им помочь? Или в этот момент король и королева оба спали? А если считать вторую часть, то что если принять во внимание сцену, где ещё принц Агнар теряет сознание. Что если Агнар после этого погиб или впал в кому, и всё это — лишь кома юного принца? Что если Идуна стёрла ему память с помощью троллей (возможно, она не хотела, чтобы он видел, кто его спас, но корректировка оказалась с ещё каким-нибудь побочным эффектом, о котором она не знала).

Эльза

Учитывая отношение Рунарда к магии, Эльза могла даже не родиться, хотя бы потому, что, будь он жив, то ни в коем случае не дал бы сыну жениться на Нортулдре. Либо же, если бы брак всё же был бы разрешён, и Эльза бы родилась, стоило бы только Рунарду увидеть, что у внучки есть дар к магии, думаю, он бы сам убил её ещё во младенчестве (думаю, каждый это представлял, когда узнал о сущности Рунарда). Далее следует момент, когда Эльза сидела взаперти. Она могла не вытерпеть однажды и наложить на себя руки. Эльза могла умереть, сбежав на Северную Гору — там ведь водятся волки, Эльза могла не заметить их, либо же, находясь в отчаяньи, не стала бы сопротивляться, отдавшись на волю верной смерти, давая волкам убить себя. И, ровно то же самое во время осады в Ледяном Замке. И… что если Эльзу действительно казнили, я имею в виду, по всем правилам? Тогда магия не была в почёте, так что такой расклад тоже возможен. Либо же, Эльза действительно погибла на фьорде, о чём чуть подробней в следующий раз. Но если вкратце… Это — не меч Ганса, но Эльза действительно хотела, после всего, что сделала, умереть. Также, Эльза могла погибнуть в Ледяной Лихорадке (короткометражка), когда она падает с часовой башни.

Но во второй части есть только один момент, значащий, что Эльза погибла. «Но лишний шаг, и ты на дне». Раскрытие правды в Ахтохаллэн. Но предпосылкой к этому служил весь фильм. Фраза «каждый день трудней даётся» — может означать, что Эльза не видит себя, среди живых, у неё нарушен сон, она ведёт себя отстранённо, словно готовясь к смерти. Более того, за голосом изначально она планирует идти одна, у неё и в мыслях не было брать кого-то ещё, так как она в принципе считает это только своей ношей. Духи (все, кроме земли) чуть не убили её. И когда Анна перечисляет цели путешествия, Эльза понимает, что «вернуться домой» у неё не получится. И, перед тем, как Эльза решается оттолкнуть Анну и Олафа, она обнимает их так, будто в последний раз, для неё это уже значит прощанье. Эльза понимает, что не вернётся. А вскоре это поймёт и Анна, когда будет злиться на сестру. Чтобы освободить Нортулдру, Эльза жертвует собой, раскрыв истину. Эльза действительно умерла. Анна постоянно плачет, Анна стала королевой. Агнар сказал, что вернулся королём, потому что его отец, король Рунард погиб. В любом другом случае это могло бы быть, если бы Эльзу признали не дееспособной. Либо это, либо смерть. Следовательно, Анна стала королевой, потому что Эльза погибла. И, почти все заметили, что наряд королевы Анны слишком мрачный — а если взглянуть на концепт-арты, то эти два её костюма (то есть период, когда Анна стала догадываться, что там её сестра найдёт смерть) — для путешествий и для коронации — они оба мрачные даже в разработке (один из них полностью чёрный). Значит, была цель изначально — подчеркнуть некий неосязаемый траур. Вот только не по родителям, а по сестре. Потому что, когда они отправляются в путь, Анна паникует по поводу и без касательно сестры (Анна единственная, кто пережил смерть). Возможно, она догадывалась, что для Эльзы этот путь не будет безопасным. Эти её наряды оба траурные, что очень даже чувствуется. А Эльза же наоборот, вся в БЕЛОСНЕЖНОМ. Никто из нас не идеален, безупречны и абсолютно свободны только мёртвые. У неё даже проводники есть — Нокк и Бруни.

Анна.

Эльза действительно могла убить её в детстве магией. Либо могла погибнуть в лесу, либо в Ледяном Замке мгновенно одолело бы проклятье Холодного Сердца, либо она окончательно заледенела на фьорде, умерев.

Кристоф.

Кристоф мог погибнуть ещё в детстве.

Ганс.

Возможно ли, что Ганс никогда не был в Аренделле? А покончил с собой ещё в детстве из-за отвратительного обращения семьи с ним. Или самоубился на флоте. Или погиб на балу, когда Эльза явила всем свою силу? Или на лестнице, что вела в Ледяной Замок, он всё же не сумел удержаться и упал вниз. Или погиб после, а на Южные Острова вернулось лишь тело.

Олаф.

Снеговичок «умирал» ещё в детстве девочек, Эльза случайно его разрушила. Затем он же погиб в буре, и он же погиб вместе с Эльзой.

Свен и Ситрон тоже должны быть мертвы. Ведь Свен был с Кристофом с самого детства, а северные олени столько не живут, ведь ледорубу сейчас двадцать два. Ситрон был подарен Гансу, когда принцу было пятнадцать. На момент фильма Гансу двадцать три — восемь лет. Ситрон должен быть уже очень старым.

Impatient feet hurried toward the door. They came to a halt, rocking from heel to toe.

Knees shook. Hands clenched.

“Are you going to do this every week?”

Anna turned to the man beside her. She scowled, baring her teeth.

“Your humor is so not appreciated right now.”

Bringing her attention back to herself, Anna smoothed the creases from her skirt. She set her hair just right, and pulled her blouse straight.

“Leave your fiancé be, Master Kristoff. She is excited.” Gerda stepped in, taking Anna’s collar in her hands. She moved the fabric back into place and then winked.

“Do I look alright?” Anna asked. Her gaze turned sheepish.

“As always, your majesty.” Gerda playfully touched her chin. “Though I doubt our guest will find all this extra pampering necessary...”

“-right you are, Gerda.” A new voice greeted them overhead. “She always looks beautiful to me.”

Three sets of eyes followed the voice to the head of the grand stairs. Standing at their height, Elsa had suddenly appeared. She was smiling. Her hands wrung anxiously at her waist.

“Elsa!” Anna cheered. She ran to meet her. “You’re here! You snuck in again, but you’re finally here!”

Floating down the steps, Elsa took her sister in her arms. Her face pressed into her hair, and she squeezed Anna tight in her hold.

“I am here.” Elsa promised. She released Anna, but not before taking their hands together. “Now, tell me. How is everyone? How is Arendelle? Are you enjoying your life as queen?”

“Really- the both of you? You act as though you haven’t seen each other in months. It’s been six days, ladies! Come on!”

Rolling her eyes, Anna pulled Elsa toward the lounge. Their arms linked together at the elbow, and they disappeared behind the door.

“I will never understand women, Gerda.” Kristoff rubbed his face and sighed.

Gerda hummed. “Women are one battle. However, sisters are a whole other challenge.”

“Tell me about it.” Kristoff grumbled. He took a slow, begrudging step towards the doorway.

“Don’t worry, Master Kristoff. I shall start getting my blessings in now for many sons.”

His back straightened. Kristoff’s complexion paled.

Gerda’s laughter echoed throughout the hall as she retreated from his sight.

The Former Snow Queen.

Here’s a little one shot I came up with after seeing all the fun Frozen stuff coming out. This is my interpretation of what could happen once Frozen 2 ends.

Nira looked up at her mother, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Her mother was an excitable Woman sure, but she had never seen her like this before. Looking away for a moment she turned her attention forward at the wall of mist before them.

“Mama, What are we doing here?” She asked for the hundredth time. Hopefully by now her mother would stop saying “you’ll see” and just tell her already.

Her mother had been looking at the mist as if she was expecting something to happen ever since they had arrived. Finally she looked down at her daughter. “Okay okay, but only cuz I can’t hold it in any longer.” She knelt down to her level. “Nira honey, we’re going to meet someone you’ve only met once, when you were just a baby, so you probably don’t remember her, but she remembers you.”

Nira searched her mother’s face. “Who?”

Before she could answer the mist before them began to split revealing four stone pillars with odd diamond patterns. In the center of the stones stood a woman, not just any woman though. Nira’s little mouth dropped. This woman looked exactly like her. Pale skin with a slight pinkish hue, soulful blue eyes the color of ice on the water, and braided platinum blonde hair.

“Nira,” Anna took her daughter by the hand and led her towards the circle of rocks, meeting the mysterious woman halfway, “I’d like to reintroduce you to your aunt, and my sister, Elsa.”

Elsa looked down at her niece with tears streaming down her smiling cheeks. “It’s so good to meet you again, Nira.” She choked on her next words. “My … you’re so big.”

Nira beamed brightly and held out her little hand, palm facing her aunt. Elsa giggled and bent down, placing the palm of her hand against hers. Immediately a thin coating of ice started to spread over their joined hands, but it wasn’t coming from the former snow queen. Elsa looked at her niece with astonishment.

Nira bounced up and down excitedly. “You were right mommy. Aunty Elsa is like me!”

I’ve been thinking about that meme earlier and it’s been bugging me because we can’t sit here and pretend that frohanna was all good and wholesome because it shared in the toxicity of other fandoms. And I think that if all of this is going to be revived between and now and the next movie we,as a group, need to work on making this a more safe and inclusive space for people not only for those of us already here but also for people that will more than likely be coming in as the new movie approaches

I can’t speak for the fandom, or any part of it. But I can say that, as a whole, I found the Frohana crew insanely accepting. Of everyone. (And of ships! Including mine.)

That said, well - if you want it to be more inclusive, then make it more inclusive on your end! Nobody can force inclusivity on a whole group. I think I’m pretty inclusive? I support any and all ships, or no ships. I allow any ships within my own little fandom universe. I’m perfectly fine if someone wants to write Elsanna or Helsa or Hanna or Kristelsa in Shardsverse, or if they want every character to be platonic. They can kill off my characters (looking at you, @couragedontdesertme and @makingtodayaperfectday 😜). I try to be welcoming to new fans, or to those struggling to find their place in the fandom. (If they seek me out - I can’t find everyone!) I can’t wait to welcome new fans with Frozen 2!

But I’m not the fandom spokesperson, or the fandom mom, or the fandom trendsetter, or the fandom rulemaker. I’m just… one person writing stories on the internet who does her best to accept anyone who wants to read and partake in those stories.

I have been in a lot of fandoms. And I have never found any of them to be “toxic.” Toxic people in them? Oh, yes. No doubt. Frozen very much included.

But I’ve also found wonderful friends. And those are who I personally choose to consider the heart of those fandoms. Because I can’t do anything about the rest.

It’s not my job, or anyone’s job, to try to make a whole fandom into something. My job is only to make myself who and what I want to be. My little place in the fandom is open to anyone who wants to be there. It always has been.

f2 review *spoilers beyond this point*

IT WAS SO GOOD OMG!

f2 was absolutely amazing and i loved every second of it. if i had to choose a fave part, it would be a tie between little anna and elsa in the flashback, iduna singing all is found, some things never change, OAKEN IN THE ENTIRE MOVIE, the charades scene, anna singing the lullaby, the kirstanna moment in the sled. gale playing with frohanna, olaf’s recap of f1 (and the rest of f2 after the credits) along with mattias’ reaction (which got a chuckle out of me), kristoff going, ‘will you marry me?’ and yelena bring like ‘...no’, the 80s dream that was lost in the woods, olsf screaming the voice call (everyone in the theater laughed including me), anna reassuring elsa after they left the ship, nokkie bowing to elsa when she reaches the river, the entirety of show yourself, elsa murdering the hans memory (YAS QUEEN!), iduna memory telling adgar memory ‘i need to tell you who i am’ and him saying ‘i’m listening’, olaf cheering anna up in the cave, the reunion with frohanna hugging and elsa asking, ‘do you wanna build a snowman?, QUEEN ANNA, that little tune of do you wanna build a snowman that plays when olaf comments on the fancy clothes, mattias with the photo, elsa smiling as she returned to arendelle, marshmallow going ‘THAT WAS SUCH A GOOD STORY!’ with the snowgies jumping around all happy and all the f1 parallels! :D

IT WAS ALL SO GOOD HOW COULD I CHOOSE ONE FAVE PART

my only problems with the movie were not seeing young iduna like in the trailer (instead of a vision) and her looking at the northern lights with elsa looking concerned (i wonder what that was about). i also didn’t like how fast things went in the beginning and I WISH MY BOI OAKEN GOT A LINE

but besides that, i still loved the movie and i’d give it a 9/10 (only .5 points behind the original frozen!)

now if you’ll excuse me, i have to listen to show yourself a thousand hundred times :)
