Fun Fact
BuzzFeed published a report claiming that Tumblr was utilized as a distribution channel for Russian agents to influence American voting habits during the 2016 presidential election in Feb 2018.
Ordinarily I would have expected super saturated colours from a roll of slide film. This roll came out with a red hue. However, the results where not entirely unpleasant.
By popular demand, I have compiled every video in my 'Amateur's Guide to Moomin' into one convenient video, with additional footnotes, corrections, and a newly added section discussing the changes that have occurred with the Moomin series since the publishing of the original videos. Join me as I explore the series' history and its author, Tove Jansson, to discover what we can learn from this peaceful family of trolls.
Special thanks to @marsmombestmom for helping with the Swedish Translation and corrections.

not sure bout you, but I relate summer with video games... so yeah, since t'was my childhood, most likely retro video games then... and Samus simply is the QUEEN of retro games!
Been playing with the Ricoh GR IIIx for a couple weeks now, and I have been using some of the film simulations from Ricoh Recipes, trying to come up with a Double-X, and have something that kinda looks like Flic Elektra 100 (Kodak Aerial) and lastly one that kinda looks Fuji 400ish.
My final show in Tokyo! It was in the beautiful (gosh the acoustics..really, the perfect classical shoebox hall) Hamarikyu Asahi hall, so my theme was based on the kanji 朝日新聞 (The Asahi newspaper) , the first character meaning “new” and the second “hear” (makes sense!). The first half was full of new repertoire as well as familiar pieces but with a modern twist. The second was set in a musical style, where I used a newspaper as a prop to talk about important news - including the ones that don’t make the paper. “One-ness”, again, was the overall theme for this year.

I don't recall if I mentioned in a previous post but my Zorki shit the bed while on this trip and took one of my rolls of film with it, which is why my Chicago posts have been so digital heavy, plus it was my first trip with my X-T2 so I was also favoring it a little to get comfortable with it.
Artists maybe you can attest to this but when an idea hits me I have limited time to make it happen or at least get the ball rolling on making it happen before I talk myself out of doing it altogether. There’s an alternate universe out there full of unfulfilled shoots I thought about doing and talked myself out of, admittedly a lot of it is shit. Initially I reached out to @gracemotel it was the very beginning of June and at the time the blistering heat Tucson in the summer was late in coming, warm but not surface of the sun hot. By the time we executed on this shoot it was the end of the month and I watched nervously at the temperature rise and rise. We shot in the morning to hopefully take advantage of cooler air, it was still in the 90’s and over 100 by the time we finished. Everything was hot, anything we shot on the ground @gracemotel had to sit on a towel. It wasn’t until a got a handful of messages from people the day of the shoot commenting on the heat that it occurred to me just how crazy we were. Having said all that I don’t think you can see that intense heat in these pictures. Any for anyone interested in this kind of thing, this was my first shoot using my Fuji X-T3, I’ve largely given up on 35mm and am devoted to digital, medium format, and Polaroids.
