Starlight Kiss

The air was cold and refreshing, when McKenna and Tom stepped outside from the Karaoke-bar. The small space, many guest and heat from the spotlights and stage, had made the temperature inside quite hot.  McKenna however wasn’t freezing at all. The many drinks, she had enjoyed during the evening, was making her feel rather numb to the breeze and she could still feel the heat from Toms hand pulsation up her arm and spreading throughout her whole body. It amazed her how responsive her body was to every little touch Tom gave.

McKenna took a deep breath of fresh air and sighed in content. She leaned back and watched the night sky for a bit, all the stars were sparkling like fairylights. For a moment she just stood there, happy as can be.

Tom was standing beside her, but unlike her, he wasn’t looking at the stars. He was staring at McKenna in awe. She was beautiful, her eyes were sparkling in the moonlight and her sad expression had finally disappeared. He unknowingly moved closer and grabbed her waist. He pulled her into a hug and smiled as McKenna send him a wondering look.

“Be mine” Tom said and tightened his grip around McKenna, “Be mine and mine alone, Topolina”.

McKenna stared amazed at Tom. She was hearing his words, but they weren’t really registering. All she could do was to stand there in his arms completely gobsmacked. Tom sighed and chuckled a bit as McKenna’s eyes began to fill up with tears. “Topolina, mi amore” He whispered into her ear before he planted a light kiss on her lips. It was so sweet and soft at first, that McKenna couldn’t fully register what was happening. It was like a dream. Before McKenna could respond properly, Tom had turned the kiss into a dip kiss and all McKenna could do was give in to the desire, which had been ignited deep within her. She clung onto Tom, fully emerged in their shared passion and time stood still for a moment.

Is This Real?

McKenna couldn’t believe what had happened yesterday. Her heart skipped a beat every time she thought of the kiss. 

After the kiss they had remained embracing each other, watching the stars. McKenna had leaned her head against Tom’s broad shoulder, it was like she fit perfectly. Like their bodies was a two piece puzzle, that had finally been assembled. Tom kissed her hair and she snuggled further into his embrace. 

Afterwards Tom had driven her home, but had refused to stay over that night. McKenna had been a little disappointed as she wanted them to stay together for a little bit longer. But she likewise knew they wouldn’t be able to keep their hands off of each other, not after their passionate kiss. The same thought had struck Tom, that was why he had decided to go home after dropping McKenna off. McKenna was pure and traditional and he respected that. Until the time was right and they had truly committed to each other, he planned on not giving into the burning desire. He wanted everything to be perfect for McKenna. She should never again feel used or abused like she had with Eduardo. Tom would make sure that never happened again and if taking things slow was what he had to do - he would.

Life returned back to normal. To be honest McKenna was a bit frustrated. She and Tom spend almost every day together but beside the occasional petting and kissing, everything was like it had always been. 

Most days she would work or play her guitar at the park for tips while waiting for Tom. The two of them would meet up and Tom usually cooked them dinner before they settled down in the couch, snuggling to a movie. 

“You know...” McKenna hesitantly began. Tom gave her an encouraging smile. “Yes?” He answered. “Um... How about we go on a real date this weekend?” McKenna nervously asked. Tom didn’t answer at first, but simply planted a kiss on her lips. “I would love that, Topolina”.

Party Time

The weekend is here and true to his word, Callum had invited a couple of friends over for a small party. Unfortunately Malik had gotten sick right before and couldn’t attend, even though he really wanted. He had called the day before all stuffy sounding and Callum had practically had to ban him from the party, just to be sure he didn’t infect any of the other guests. Callum felt bad, especially since the whole party was for Malik’s sake. But sometimes you have to stand your ground and do what is best for everyone.

The party started out great, everybody got more of their fair share of pizza and juice. The music was banging and Callum felt thoroughly entertained watching patzy shake her booty. He could tell she had had a few too many red solo cups filled with juice, from the way she was letting go and just enjoying herself. He loved whenever she got juiced. She always got really affectionate and honest about her feelings, which he found specifically cute. 

Not all of the guests handled the unlimited juice well. Callum had invited his tattoo artist, who he had struck up a friendship with after getting his back tattooed and Ryan is one strong and opinionated woman. Patzy found herself small talking with Ryan and Anna-Maria, but before she knew it, they were all discussing politics - a topic which Patzy didn’t really care about. Ryan was going on and on about this seasons hot topic and all the while Patzy was looking to Anna-Maria for help, but she was busy posting pictures on social media. Patzy was stuck without an escape route. Her being an imaginary friend meant, that there was so much more Patzy would rather focus her time and energy on - such as figuring herself out. How could she focus on politics, when she couldn’t even keep focus on something as simple as choosing a career path and sticking with it. Was she even happy being in the sports career? was she even happy, period?

Romance and Ruins

The weekend arrived and McKenna couldn’t contain herself, she was so excited. She had been planning the date all week. First they would take a stroll around the Monte Vista, where they would enjoy the different views and each others company. They would grab a light lunch at the bistro and end the night with a dip in the local pool. She wondered what she should wear but ended up choosing the same cute top and skirt she usually wore. This might be a date, but it was a casual one and the outfit would have to be something she easily could change out off when they reached the pool. Besides, Tom had complimented her in that outfit, so she knew he liked it.  

McKenna was over the moon. The date was going better than she had hoped. She felt like she was floating on a cloud, only to be brought back down to earth every time some touched her and lightning of passion shot through her entire body.

Bowling

It’s not only the girls that are getting to have some fun. Malik and Callum have - just like Patzy and Anna-Maria - been inseparable lately. They normally head over to the arcade, instead of the park. Both of the guys are extremely competitive, so they can easily spend hours upon hours playing each other and battling it out. Normally Patzy has to call Callum and remind him what time it is and that it’s getting late. Whenever she works evenings, Callum loses track of time. He gets so caught up in the games and atmosphere. Luckily he’s rather disciplined, so he has never missed a day of work, even while staying out late... but... there are days, where he’s running on only a couple of hours of sleep.

“You know?... Umm...” Malik said as he spun around to face Callum after sending his bowling-ball down the lane, hitting the last standing bowling pin.  “Hmm?...” Callum answered back not really listening to what Malik was saying, as he was trying to figure out, how he should curve the ball in order to get a strike. “That girl... Um, Anna-Maria... She and Patzy have been quite close lately, right?” Malik kept going, as Callum’s ball hit a perfect strike.  Callum yelled out a little cheer and turned toward Malik, “Yeah, what of it?” he asked and scratched his neck, sending Malik a questioning stare. Malik picked up his bowling-ball and readied himself for his turn. “Well... Um... You know... She’s kinda hot...” Malik finally muttered and Callum couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Seeing the usually calm and suave Malik struggle was rather amusing. “Yeah, she’s smoking! But what does that have to do with anything?” Callum asked grinning, sending Malik a smug look. Malik turned red around his ears and tried to focus on his shot.  “Well, do you know whether or not she’s single?” Malik finally asked, as his ball hit the pins. Callum could tell Malik was a little annoyed over the fact he felt somewhat embarrassed. Callum smiled and patted Malik on the shoulder before grabbing his own bowling-ball, “I think so. Patzy has never mentioned anything about a boyfriend before and I know for a fact that Anna-Maria lives alone - I mean, no man can endure that much tone-deaf BTS karaoke” He laughed, “But you already know that, you live in our building too right?”. Malik didn’t answer at first, he then sighed as if he was preparing to do a bungee jump. “Well, do you think Patzy can do a fella a solid and slide Anna-Maria my number or better yet... give me hers”. Callum tried his best not to burst out in laughter, Malik looked hillariuous all red in the face like a littel schoolboy asking his first crush to be his valentine. “Sure, dude... but whay don’t I do you one better! Why don’t I throw a party this weekend and invite the both of you. I mean, there’s no icebreaker better than a little juice, pizza, and music” Callum asked and send Malik a cheeky grin.

Girls Day at the Park

With the weather being lovely and warm, Patzy and the neighbor, Anna-Maria Bloomberg, decided to visit the local summer festival at the park. It had been going on for a couple of days, but Callum had been too busy to take Patzy, so she decided to invite Anna-Marie out for a bit of fun in the sun.

Lately the two of them has been spending a lot of time together, getting closer and closer. Whenever Callum is out for work, Patzy usually invites her over for a movie or an yoga session. Most days the meet up and it’s safe to say, that Anna-Maria has become Patzy’s new BFF.

Some days Patzy feels a bit guilty about the closeness she has with Anna-Maria. It’s no secret that Patzy has a special bond with McKenna, as they are the only two girls in the Fullman family. It was always them against the boys. And Patzy has been missing her a lot ever since McKenna moved to Italy. Facetime is never the same as meeting in person, But with both of them being busy with work and low on money, meeting up hasn’t been an option. To some degree Patzy feels like she’s trying to replace McKenna with Anna-Maria. But the two women are complete opposites and not much alike, Anna-Maria is much more outgoing and partyfixated, whereas McKenna is more quiet and a homebody. But Patzy still feels guilty though - maybe for thinking, that McKenna could be replaced with someone else. But hanging out with a girl has been awesome and Patzy is rather proud of herself. She has always had trouble talking to girls, she never really felt a connection - only with McKenna, but that didn’t count as they lived under the same roof. It was different with Anna-Maria. She and Patzy had a special connection and deep down Patzy knew that this was something rather exciting - something unique and raw.

Meet the New Family member

Now that Cookie isn’t a kitten anymore and things are becoming a little more hectic at work, Callum and Patzy felt like he need a friend to keep him company while they’re out and about.  Both of them has been looking far and wide for a little furry friend for them to adopt, but with no luck unfortunately, which Patzy has been rather down about it.

One day however a little fluffy nugget of a cat turned up in the local paper, ready to be adopted. She was adorable with her little bobtail. Both Callum and Pazy were sold right away. They reached out to the owner in order to enquire, if she still was available for adoption and luckily for them - she was! The next day they headed off to retrieve her. She was so sweet, but a little shy. Her original name was Karen, but neither Patzy or Callum felt like the name suited her. So Patzy named her Coco, short for coconut, to go with the food theme she had decided on, when naming Cookie.

Even though Coco is a bit shy, she quickly warmed up to the boys in the house. She and Cookie enjoy playing together and Callum has even caught them taking a nap - all snuggled up together, melting into one big fluffy ball of fur. But Coco still seem a little wary of Patzy - maybe she has a thing about females - but hopefully it won’t last for long.

Quick Dinner Date

Even though their schedules have been rather hectic, Callum and Patzy still find time for each other as a couple. Most nights they simply grab a quick bite to eat at the local diner, after Callum get off from work and before Patzy has clock in. It might not be the most elaborate and romantic date with candlelight and a 3 course meal, but they both love it. For them It’s the simple kind of dates that matter. The fact that they manage to meet up and enjoy each other for half an hour, is way more important than how fancy the date is.

Boys Night Out

Patzy has been working overtime lately, in order to advance herself career wise. She’s in the sports career and most games take place in the evening.  This means Callum has a lot of long lonely evenings, just him and Cookie. And although he loves to cuddle on the sofa with the cat, it can be rather boring for an energetic young man.

But fret not dear Callum, right next door lives an young man who can rescue you from the dreaded boredom! Malik Burbank is Callum and Patzy’s nextdoor neighbor. He’s often quiet and they don’t really hear much from him, unlike their other neighbor Anna-Maria Bloomberg - she’s the loud one in the building. But Malik is golden, and although Callum has only met Malik a couple of times in the hallway while taking out the trash. He and Malik just hit it off straight away and it didn’t take long for them to connect over their shared love of arcade-games and sports. Soon they were two peas in a pod.

Dating?

McKenna has been keeping her distance from Tom lately. Ever since Carlotta’s party where she kind of realized, that deep down she still felt all sorts of confusing feelings for Tom. But as he had made it clear once before, that they were better of as friends, she felt it best to try and ignore her feelings and let them die out naturally. Besides, she had started to see her coworker Eduardo in a romantic way and she owed herself to give their relationship a chance. Eduardo was sweet, caring, a good kisser and hot, what more could she ask for?

Quality Time

Sooo... Have you guys missed me? I’ve surely missed you! And I’m so sorry, that I’ve just disappeared from Tumblr once again. Life got in the way and will probably remain rather hectic for the foreseeable future - Gosh dang it! I’m amazed and in awe of all the Simblrs, that manage in keep a regular upload schedule. I struggle with finding time to play, edit screenshots and create posts, so - Hat off to you guys!  I can’t promise, that I’ll do better - but I’ll try my best. Tbh, the post will probably stay rather sporadic the upcoming time, but at least I’ll manage to post now and again, XD

Let’s check back in with Callum and Patzy in SimMeapolis. Callum was busy working on his advancement in his career and Patzy was struggling with her mental wellbeing, when we left them.

Since Patzy has been in such a funk mentally lately, she’s been questioning almost everything about herself. What she wants to do in life, who she really is and so on. Callum has been noticing her inner struggle and decided, that they should spend some quality time as a couple to give her mind a little break. He therefore invited Patzy out for a date. Besides, a date was the perfect opportunity for Callum to show of his gaming-skills and maybe get some brownie-points for being cool. He let Patzy start and confidently gave her tips on how to score. Patzy smirked and played along, letting Callum show off.

It didn’t last long however. Patzy leaned over the table and swoosh... she send her weight down the board, hitting Callum’s and shuffling away - securing herself the win. Patzy laughed as Callum complained about beginners luck. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and planted a kiss on his lips, grinning. Callum smiled back and returned the kiss. “Better luck next time Mr. Fullman” Patzy giggled, booping Callum’s nose with hers. “At least I’ve got luck in love” Callum answered and kissed her wholeheartedly.

Lunch Date

The coming weekend Eduardo invited McKenna out on a little lunch date. He had reserved a table at the local diner, where the local SimFest was being held. He knew how much McKenna loved supporting her fellow artist. So it seemed like a perfect date. Maybe they could join in too. He grabbed his keys and headed towards his car, which was newly cleaned and ready to impressed. 

McKenna had been looking forward to enjoying a delicious meal, while listening to some good music. Friday had been miserable, she hadn’t been able to concentrate at all, she was too excited about tomorrows date. She had bought a new cute pink dress with strawberries for the occasion. It had been so long since she had been on a proper date. She and Eduardo usually just watched a movie at her place, so a little change was exciting.

Yoga

Patzy’s lack of advancement at her job has been messing with her lately. She has been feeling rather anxious and out of sorts. Her mood has been all over the place and she beginning to question herself and her abilities. Luckily Callum managed to calm her worries down and make is so her bad thoughts don’t manifest too often. But Patzy still feels bothered by it, which is why she has taken up yoga lately - hoping it will give her a little more mental stability.

Romance and Roses

Callum usually laughs when Patzy gets all jealous of Cookie. He finds it adorable.  Patzy has been having a hard time at her job, she’s kind of plateauing - not really advancing, and is has bought her spirits down a bit. Callum therefore decided he would surprise her with a bouquet of red roses after work, hoping it would cheer her up.
