Ár var alda,

ór Ymis holdi

en ór sveita sær,
bjǫrg ór beinum,
baðmr ór hári,
en ór hausi himinn.
The age was old
when Ymir (Twin) lived;
from Ymir’s flesh
the earth was formed,
and from his sweat (i.e. blood) the sea,
boulders from his bones,
trees from his hair,
and from his skull the sky.
First two lines are from Vǫluspá 3, the rest is from Grímnismál 40
I deciced to get the same tattoo as Astreus from God of War. I absolutely adored gow 4, but gow Ragnarök made me love this character even more. One of the best games I’ve ever played.
These are two (2) of the ways I write Thor/Þor's name with the Younger Futhark. The ᚦ is made by adding a thorn to one of the legs of the ᚢ. And the ᚱ is made by adding a quick-scribbled lightning bolt to the ᚦ. I think it suits him well.
If you use, please tag me...I wanna see~
It can also be seen here on this patch and sticker that’s in my shops:
Buy me a coffee or commission yer own bindrune/sigil here~
Looking at silver rune pendants at etsy (not gonna buy just yet...just looking) and a seller/shop added this note at the bottom of the "about item" section;

An incredible rock inscribed with the oldest confirmed runes ever found has just been unearthed in Norway. These ancient symbols, believed to date back 1800-2000 years, hold the key to understanding the origins of this ancient Western alphabet.
A representation of the cosmos as described in Old Norse sources such as the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda.
The inside of the piece shows Yggdrasil, the famous "The World Tree." Along with some of its inhabitants, the tree contains the nine worlds accompanied by portrayals of a number of Old Norse mythological characters and stories.
Immediately outside the circular border are depictions of Ragnarok, "The Twilight of the Gods". The stylisation change from the inside of the piece meant to mirror the designs found on carvings from the middle ages (9th - 11 century) such as The Gosforth Cross and The Ramsund Carving.
The outer border of the artwork is inspired by the runic inscription of protection from the Kvinneby amulet (11th - 12th century), particularly the final line: "The gods are under him and over him".

Could the unidentified symbols here be "kill marks" based on concept art of the Vulture droid starfighters? (Seen here in concept art by Doug Chiang) Maybe the N-1 was built and painted before the CGI Vulture droid design was finalized?
Gebo is the rune of partnership, giving, equal exchange, generosity, honor, love, and self-sacrifice. Gebo is a partnership rune, so a partnership may be on the horizon (this could mean romantic relationship, business partnership, or a collaboration of some kind) or there could be shifts in a current partnership. Changes in a contract could reflect a fairer, more equal exchange. Gebo can also indicate a gift in all its forms, including a talent or spiritual gift. Some of you may be giving or receiving a gift in the next seven days. This could include a physical or monetary gift. This could also mean a talent or spiritual gift coming to light.
