I know the girl meets world autism episode wasn't great but I do still think the resolution of doctors telling farkle 'you're not autistic but we can not figure out what your deal is' was pretty funny

I truly believe that Cory and Topanga were entirely mismatched, and that Boy Meets World does nothing to dispute this fact.
Forget that they retconneced their relationship to say that they’ve been together since they were 3 years old, there is never a moment where they understand each other in the midst of conflict.
And when that happens — and it does often — who usually fixes that for them? Shawn.
This happens when Cory kisses Lauren, when they break up after that kiss, when Cory’s baby brother is in the hospital … the list goes on.
Topanga does not understand Cory on a basic human level. At times, it’s almost as if she pitys him or thinks he’s a joke. I don’t think Cory is a perfect character by ANY STRETCH of the imagination, but he only recognizes these flaws through the help of Shawn. His growth — when not through a lesson from Feeny of course — is ALWAYS with Shawn. Honestly even Angela communicates with him more efficiently in the final seasons (not in a romantic way).
We are told to love Cory and Topanga. EVERY REASON we are told to love them is SHOWN in Cory’s relationship to Shawn. I cannot express this enough.
They made this same exact misstep on Girl Meets World — with forcing Riley/Lucas on us all when the natural chemistry AND narrative clearlyyyyyyy led to Riley/Farkle and Lucas/Maya — but that’s another post.

Do u think Jack really liked Eric in that way or do you just ship it because it’s gay
That’s a great question! Being honest, I do really love a queer ship. However, I do truly believe that both characters are/were very queer coded. If you watch their scenes together closely or really think about some of the things they say/how they say them, it’s very apparent to see that 90% of the time there is definitely some underlying thing there. One could argue that they’re just being best friends, which is completely valid and canon in the show. Nevertheless, if you watch their interaction in Girl Meets World, one can see and even feel that chemistry they used to have. I mean come on, Jack looks at Eric like the man hung all the stars by himself. Don’t even get me started on Jack’s soft tones either. It was like ex-lovers crashing back into one another again, like fate brought them there because they just belong together. So, yes, I really think Jack and Eric both liked and loved each other very much especially in a queer way.

Being surrounded by Black (mostly lesbian) women. Playing drums, eating food, sitting by a fire. Seeing women go from negative self talk to confident within 30 minutes. Sharing ideas, laughing our assess off, planning community response to injustice. It's so healing. I'm so healed. Sisterhood really is magic.
