Yesssss. The age respect thing has so much potential for funny shit so here are some age group specific thoughts.

First Years+Mayu

The karasuno 1st years adopted Wakamatsu into their weird little squad a little before he and Yamaguchi got together and he fits in TERRIFYINGLY well.

Lev met Mayu when Nozaki roped him into helping him get reference sketches of a Karasuno vs Nekoma match and decided he was his “super cool senpai”. Mayu just rolled with it. He thinks Lev is a moron but also won’t let anyone talk shit about him.

The only person in the mangang Tsukishima will call senpai is Hori and SOMETIMES Chiyo(he forgets she’s older than him).

Wakamatsu is actively terrified of most of the first years in the Japan Youth Volleyball league and it’s mostly because of Goshiki. He made too much eye contact, Koganegawa thought it was a new thing they were doing, and it freaked out Wakamatsu.

Mayu has a massive crush on Yachi. Only Nozaki knows.

Second Years

Chiyo to the surprise of EVERYONE has a really good friendship with Kyoutani from Aoba Johsai. Nobody really knows how it happened but she stopped being scared of him when she watched Iwaizume BODY Kyoutani in an arm wrestling contest. And he’s unphased by her “Nozaki Tangents”.

Kashima is BFFS with Kuroo that’s common knowledge. What’s LESS common knowledge is her friendship with Kenma. Man is so used to Kuroo’s shenanigans he just kinda rolls with whatever Kashima is doing so most of her physical affection and short jokes that used to be at Hori are directed more towards Kenma. It WAS Yaku but that’s another story”

Mikorin has a haram. We know this. The haram has spawned the Mikorin Protection Squad ™. It’s just Tanaka and Nishinoya following Mikorin and Ennoshita on dates and talking to each other into dollar store walkie talkies but still.

Seo has not once but THREE TIMES gotten into physical fights with Hoshiumi. They are both the epitome of “smaller means I’m closer to hell”. Hoshiumi with all his volleyball skill has yet to win bc Seo plays dirty. They also have a 3 month Snapchat streak of just insults.

Nozaki LATCHED onto Sakusa Kiyoomi when he met him because his brain went “MYSTERIOUS. PRETTY. LEADING MAN. MUST INVESTIGATE” but because he’s awkward he didn’t actually speak to him. Sakusa thinks he’s a weirdo. Nozaki does not know this.

Third Years

Hori and Iwaizume are friends. Hori and Oikawa are best friends. Nobody knows how this happened.

Kiyoko has low key adopted Nozaki because she thinks he’s a moron and needs to be looked after. Which he does.

Ushijima calls Hori “Hori Senpai” bc Tendou messed with him and told him Hori was a college kid and Ushijima believed him.

Tendou has a group chat with the mangang minus Mikorin where they give him updates on people who wronged or are into Mikorin.

Hello! It is the same anon that asked about your further HCs of Mikorin's harem. I genuinely didn't think of this crossover until I saw yours and thought "Wait, I love Haikyuu too!" and suddenly I remember that Noya and Mikorin share the same Japanese VA! I can't get enough at the thought of their first meeting, hearing their own voice on someone else 😂. Imagine the chaos they could do if not because of Mikorin's shyness.

Ohhhh my god they do I didnt even realize that.

The fact that Mikorin’s English VA is Kageyama and the Japanese one is Nishinoya is HILARIOUS to me for some reason like these are two such different characters and yet both are similar to Mikorin.

Either Mikorin is a very complex character or he’s just a weirdo.

Probably both.

Also Tsubaki had to give Mikorin social anxiety otherwise he’d be UNSTOPPABLE

I love your blog and I just saw your Chiyo and Hinata Family AU and am dying laughing at Sakura beating up Kageyama (and my money would've been on her in a fight lol)

I’m glad you like it! It’s a random thing that I thought of one day and now it’s a weird staple of this dumb blog. I am single handedly driving this crossover boat and I regret nothing.

Also I have so many thoughts on Chiyo fighting the Hinata Haram ™ so headcanon time.

People Sakura Chiyo has tried to fight and did she win

1. Miya Atsumu

She went to ONE Karasuno vs Inarazaki game, immediately hated the guy.

Granted this fighting was partially also Mikorin helping(while hiding behind Ennoshita) and mostly was some choice words but Atsumu doesn’t forget it and avoids her like the PLAGUE

Once Hinata joins MSBY and they spend more time together And Atsumu chills the fuck out they get along fine but he’s always a little scared of her

2. Aone Takanobu

It was a very short fight and fight is used very loosely.

Basically she thought he was threatening Hinata bc…c’mon look at his face.

He has resting “I’m going to fight you” face

It got resolved very quickly.

They’re good friends.

3. Tsukishima Kei

This…was a long time coming.

TLDR Nozaki went to visit a training camp to get reference photos without getting in the way of official games and the Mangang tagged along

Tsukki was being…well Tsukki and Chiyo just. Snapped.

It took the combined effort of Akaashi, Bokuto, Nozaki, Hori, and Kashima to stop her. Kuroo and Seo were too busy laughing.

Tsukki does not say SHIT around Chiyo anymore.

Man’s salty but he has self preservation.

4. Kageyama Tobio

The one we’ve all been waiting for.

This was the culmination of Hinata complaining about Kags plus Chiyo observing their dynamic

One day when visiting practice she just went OFF on Kageyama.

Got up in his space, yanking on his shirt so he’d actually be eye level with her.

“Look not everybody is naturally talented and just because you’ve never had to work for anything doesn’t give you the right to be mean to people trying and having real passion and if you’re going to be like this then you should just stop playing volleyball because you clearly don’t care about the sport like you say you do”

Cue a SILENT GYM.

It was an awkward rest of practice but Chiyo stood her ground.

Eventually they did talk it out but yeah Chiyo doesn’t like Kageyama.

So Kuroo and Seo are that friend combo that has mutual friends and said mutual friends are doing EVERYTHING THEY POSSIBLY CAN to make sure they do not meet

That friend is Kashima

Bc Kashima and Kuroo have a friendship. And Kashima and Seo have a friendship. And Kashima has sworn to never have the two meet.

They met.

Kuroo saw this absolute gremlin of a person yeet a ball in Tsukishima’s face and just went “New best friend c’mon Kenma we have a new friend”

Kenma meanwhile looked at Seo and went “nope fuck this shit”

Kuroo is the type of person to know that something is a bad idea and do it anyway vs Seo won’t even realizing something is a bad idea.

He’s an enabler basically.

Kuroo’s newest hobby is introducing his volleyball buddies to Seo and because he thinks it’s the funniest shit.

She called Bokuto a himbo. Kuroo laughed so hard he had to lie on the floor for a little.

She called Tsukishima a “gangly little bitch” and Kuroo had to leave the room to calm down and will bring it up CONSTANTLY

They TERRORIZE people together. Seo accidentally Kuroo 100% on purpose.

Main targets being Wakamatsu, Tsukishima, and Mikorin.

While poor Kenma and Kashima just sit back watching the carnage and doing absolutely nothing to stop it bc it is not their problem.

But I also love your HC for Mikorin's harem... do you have any more headcanons about it? I am also quite curious about the relationship Mikorin has with everyone in Karasuno and Shiratorizawa. Once again wanna said that I love your headcanons 💕

Awww I’m glad you like it! It’s an excuse for me to talk about my favorite anime and my current hyperfixation lol. I had a whole HoriTsukki thing half written but I didnt think people would wanna hear about it.

And yes totally I have many Mikorin ideas. I’ll put the relationships one on a different post so this doesn’t get too long but for now…

More Mikorin Harem Headcanons

Literally everyone knows about it. Like it’s a well known joke that if you want someone to do something you send either Hinata or Mikorin

Preferably both at the same time

Ennoshita noticed first.

Actually technically Nozaki noticed first but he didnt say anything because in his mind “Finally! An accurate image of Mamiko’s admirers”

He’s useless truly

But once Ennoshita noticed he started keeping a list.

Kashima found said list. They now have a google doc.

The two of them are a menace friendship honestly Kashima and the second years of Karasuno are a terrifying group.

When they add someone new they usually make a little note and you can always tell who added them because of the notes

Whether it be Ennoshita or Kashima or occasionally someone else they send the doc to.

Pages look something like this

Suna Rintaro: Caught him sneakily taking a picture of Mikoshiba and showing it to the Miya twins. One of them turned red. Keep an eye on him he’s too pretty

Kuroo Tetsuro and/or Kozume Kenma. It’s one of them because they keep finding reasons to come over and talk to Mikoshiba specifically. I will have to ask Kenma.

When Ennoshita posts versus when it’s Kashima it’s more like

Noya!!! Mikorin shared his snacks with him and he did the thing he did when Kiyoko said his new sneakers were cool. Aww he’s got a crush! Don’t tell Asahi lol

KUROO SAID MIKORIN WAS CUTE AND THEN PANICED BUT I GOT IT ON SNAPCHAT VIDEO CAN’T TAKE IT BACK NOW

With the occasional guest additions

Aone mentioned that his setter thinks Mikorin is cute and he flipped a coin to ask him out or not but he got tails so he didn’t and got sad.(Chiyo)

Kageyama Tobio. The King lost a game of truth or dare and had to play KFM with Mikoshiba, Hori Senpai, and Nozaki. He spent a very long time deciding then panicked when he picked that he would marry Mikoshiba.(Tsukishima)

Yachi mentioned a member of the Johenzi team tried to get her to give him Mikorin’s number. Sadly she did not.(Nozaki)

Matsukawa Issei and Hanamaki Takahiro. Both asked for Mikoshiba’s number saying it was for the other one so I’m not really sure what’s going on there.(Hori)

Mikorin has absolutely no idea this is happening.

3. Miya Atsumu. Exact same moment as Osamu.

4. Suna Rintaro. See the Miyas.

5. Nishinoya Yuu. Man will take this to his GRAVE. But he thinks Mikorin is adorable.

6. Kuroo Tetsuro. Very short lived crush that Kashima found out about and will never let anyone forget.

So Shiratorizawa and Inarazaki have a game together and Mikorin wants to be supportive of his cousin Tendou so he goes.

And because he’s a wimp he drags Kashima with him.

Now Kashima vaguely knows Inarazaki players bc she’s seen them play Nekoma when she’s gone to games to bother support Yaku so when Atsumu steps up she’s just like

“Oh boy here we go”

Mikorin meanwhile is just watching the 2 rows of screaming girls wondering who the guy they’re screaming for is.

So Atsumu does his thing. Yells at some girls bc his character growth hasn’t happened yet and Mikorin is SHOOK ™

“That’s so mean I’m gonna make sure they’re okay.”

Cue in the DEAD SILENCE Mikoshiba “Wouldn’t known subtle if it beat him with a bad” Mikoto leaning towards the girls and just going

“Hey are you ladies okay that guy was a jerk.”

Inarazaki fans are SCANDALIZED

Kashima is MILDLY HORRIFIED

Tendou is DYING

Suna and Osamu are ALSO DYING

Aran and Kita are TIRED

And Atsumu is fucking LIVID

Because who does that guy think he is?!

With his dumb shiny hair and stupid pretty face and nice voice and oh shit.

Eventually the game finally plays, Inarazaki looses but only by a little and Atsumu is CONVINCED he was off his game because of Mikorin

“It’s that red haired guy! Shiratorizawa planted him on purpose to throw me off I know it!”

Meanwhile Suna off to the side

“Are you sure it wasn’t that you just suck?”

“FUCK OFF SUNARIN.”

At this point Kashima and Mikorin have made it to Shiratorizawa’s bench and are congratulating the team

Goshiki idolizes Kashima and you cannot convince me otherwise

And Tendou has decided to be a little shit to his cousin bc that’s what family is for

“Sooooo you really showed Miya huh?”

“The piss blonde hair guy? He was a jerk I wasn’t wrong.”

“Yeah but that’s his whole thing. It’s like a ritual. Hahaha maybe that’s why we won!”

And now Mikorin is embarrassed.

Bc he threw off his ritual!

Now he’s gotta apologize!

But it’s Mikorin so he just kinda. Runs up to Atsumu.

“I’m sorry I threw off your ritual I didn't know but you were kinda being an asshole but also like my bad okay sorry bye.”

And runs away back to a dying Tendou and Kashima bc that’s hilarious.

Atsumu, Suna, and Osamu all fell in love a little with Mikorin at that moment.

“Dibs.”

“FUCK YOU YOU CANT CALL DIBS”

“TOO BAD I ALREADY DID FUCK OFF ‘TSUMU”
