Every year around my annual review at work I get NAUSEATING (yet baseless) anxiety that I’m gonna be fired

My review is tomorrow but I had an unrelated meeting with my manager this morning where we talked about new projects that will take place over the next few weeks. So I guess if we are planning ahead I don’t need to worry so much about being axed tomorrow

#worse things have happened but it seems unlikely right! #she also keeps talking about my marathon (over six months away) and how excited she is so. that’s a good sign right #I don’t know where this particular fear came from I guess it’s just part of my general anxiety #I read something the other day that said ‘you can’t get in trouble with another adult’ and it rewired me tbh #I am always so afraid of being in trouble. for what? with who? I’m an adult I can’t be in trouble with anyone 😤😤😤

#i guess they have a circular relationship because also going on lots of first dates was really trial by fire for me in learning lots lf #new social skills #meeting new people was never my strong suit and i was very afraid of it and would avoid it but like! #when i first tried going on first dates i learned a lot about how to meet people and met types of queer people i'd never met before #and actually it was good for me even though it was often weird and stressful #and it was a lower-stakes way to practice social skills that i otherwise would've just avoided using until they atrophied #anyway whenever i see a dating profile that's like 'i'm afraid of talking to women lol' i'm like ok relatable but what's your plan to learn #i think also just like it doesn't have to be through dating but it is good for you to meet other gay and trans people offline if possible #when i moved to wisconsin i only knew my coworkers who were mostly also twentysomethings who'd been hired straight from college #and it was good for me to meet and make friends with other local gay and trans people who were involved in different stuff #idk i just don't know how many more 'i'm obsessed with romance but scoff at the idea that i should do anything about that' posts i can read #like if i said i wanted to run a marathon but i never practiced running people would fairly be like okay that's prob not gonna happen #idk i know it's no skin off my nose i'm just like. if you never take any steps towards expressing your desires #how do you think they're going to just happen to you #personal nonsense

So I know you hate rrb and that's so valid but i think the funniest implication of the clip show is that teen them just like, stopped doing villainous things? Like the girls stopped fighting crime that's so lame but why did those three idiots stop being bad guys? Did Mtn Dew calm them down?

And then that got me thinking can you imagine like, if they did age up the girls we see retired villains who could rob a bank sure but it's bingo night

My only problem is I can't imagine any villain just retire from villainy as much as I can't imagine the girls older

From what I understand, that whole sequence was all kind of a lighthearted jab at the ridiculous idea that the girls would ever just be interested in boys and shopping if they got older… so clearly it would be just as OOC and ridiculous if the RRB quit being awful. But yeah, whatever could have mellowed them out? 😆 maybe they discovered weed and that calmed them down or maybe something was in their axe body spray lol idk

…to be fair, given how we’ve seen the other villains of Townsville, I’m sure they’re already doing things like that in their downtime. 😆

Sorry for talking about n but I vaguely remember that one time cn played n for two or three days straight on the network (idr what it was even for) but during the marathon, no other shows aired, nor did miguzi, adultswim or ccf (cartoon cartoon Fridays) and I remember attempting to stay up for three days straight just to watch every episode. I was so stupid.
