Marvel Latino Superheroes Part 1

4. Sam Alexander aka Nova - biracial; half Mexican and half white
5. Victor Alvarez aka Power Man - biracial; Afro-Dominican
6. Humberto Lopez aka Reptil - Mexican born
7. Roberta Mendez aka Captain America 2099 - Hispanic nationality unknown but is American born
8. Miguel O’Hara aka Spider Man 2099 - biracial; half Irish and half Mexican
9. Bonita Juarez aka Firebird - Chicana (Mexican American)
10. Robbie Reyes aka Ghost Rider - Chicano (Mexican American)
11. Alejandra Jones aka Ghost Rider - Hispanic nationality unknown
12. Maya Lopez aka Echo - half Hispanic and half Cheyenne, the former nationality is unknown
13. Ajak aka The Legendary Inca Warrior - Peruvian born
14. Anya Corazon aka Arana - half Mexican and half Puerto Rican American
15. Gabriel Vargas aka Captain Universe - Chicano (Mexican American)
16. Gabriel Carlos Dantes Sepulveda aka Defensor - Argentinian born
17. Fabio Medina aka Egg (formerly known as Goldballs) - Hispanic nationality unknown but is American born
18. America Chavez aka Miss America - biracial; Afro-Puerto Rican Caribbean
19. Carmen Cruz aka Gimmick - biracial; Afro-Latina
20. Laura Kinney aka Wolverine - biracial; Afro-Latina and half white; her exact ethnicity is unknown but first appearance (in the animated X-Men: Evolution series) depicts her with dark skin and her “mother” had darker skintone with blonde hair. Her creators didn’t specify her ethnicity but I do think she’s Hispanic. And given the darker skintone of her “mother”, she’s most likely Afro-Latina. I know in recent comic adaptation portray her with way lighter skin tone but her ORIGINAL appearance shows her with DARKER skintone (thought not as dark as her “mother”). As such, I have seen Laura as half white and half Afro Latina but the Hispanic nationality is unknown. Also, as a side note, her creators also mentioned they planned to do a LGBT storyline with Laura but it was axed. So, she’s also LGBT.
21. Cecilia Reyes - Puerto Rican and depicted with dark-skinned complexion
22. Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot - biracial; Afro-Brazilian
23. Armando Munoz aka Darwin - biracial; Afro-Latino; Hispanic nationality unknown
24. Julio Richter aka Rictor - Mexican born

29. Benito Serrano aka Toro - Cuban
30. Gabriel Cohuelo aka Velocidad - Mexican born

Moment of Awesome - Maya Lincoln-Lopez/Echo:In the wake of Behold A Pale Horse, Gabriel Cohuelo checks up on Maya and they talk about the unmentionable - the betrayal by Wade Wilson
“I got shot,” Maya agreed, her accompanying sign almost a dismissive flick. “I’m not dead. You’re not dead. It’s a win.”
"Stop it," Gabriel frowned. "It's not a win." He couldn't believe she would be pretending otherwise. "You got shot, and you needed days to recover. And..." He didn't even want to have to say it, and he was starting to get annoyed that she was going to make him.
“After the man I think of as an uncle was just lucid enough to shoot me in the foot.”
Maya said it matter of factly, the snap of the words harsh as she picked up her can of soda and looked down at the label.
“He didn’t kill me, Gabe. He was crazy enough to, he tried to kill Clarice. But not me. Me he recognised. Why do you think that’s a loss?”
"Because he's a fucking lunatic who fucking shot you!" He would not, ordinarily, have been so furious in front of her. Not because he thought she needed to see him maintain composure — they knew each other too well at this point — but because he didn't like to lose it in front of anyone. "That's not — it's not okay, Maya. Do you know how lucky you were? You don't think he and Clarice were close too? I mean, what the actual fuck!"
Maya launched the can of soda at his head with a furious scream, on her feet before she remembered and then collapsing downward as she got tangled in pillow, chair and the sheer agony of having put weight on a gunshot wound that wasn’t ready for it.
Gabriel, grateful for his powers, caught the can. He wordlessly went to her bathroom, pulled a bottle of over-the-counter painkillers from the medicine cabinet and tossed it in her direction before returning to his seat.
Maya swore viciously in Spanish, calling Gabriel’s parentage into question and telling him exactly what he could do with his painkillers as she struggled back up into her chair and settled in again.
She took several deep breaths, and then glared.
“What good does it do, mi hermano? I can’t do anything about it.”
"No," Gabriel acknowledged. "You can't." He refused to break eye contact with her. "But don't pretend it's fine. It's not." He kept calm, because he'd already lost his cool once, and it clearly hadn't served him. "You're not supposed to be fine. None of this is fine. And you're not stronger for pretending it is."
“Speaking from personal experience?”
Maya dry swallowed both pills and sat back into her chair, allowing the headrest to cradle her suddenly exhausted self.
“Why is it that people only offer advice when it’s someone else doing the same thing they were just doing not months ago, like nobody will call them on their bullshit.”
He bristled slightly at that, but he refused to let it fluster him. He'd been dealing with Maya for years; he knew how she operated, and he knew she wanted to get a rise out of him. "There's so much you think you know," he said after a second. "But yes, I am speaking from personal experience, actually." He wanted to tell her that he had been trying to deal with his shit, recently. But that would mean explaining just what his shit is, and he didn't owe her anything.
But he'd give her something small. "M-Day was one of the five worst days of my life," he said, standing and moving to the kitchen, because he refused to look at her while he told her this. "And I would probably be dead by now if Wade had not dragged me back here and forced me to deal with my shit instead of drinking myself to death." He opened the fridge, peering inside. "I was barely holding it together. You think I'm a mess now? You have no idea."
“I don’t.”
It was tired, and sad but it was honest. It was a concession. She stared into the middle distance, wondering when she’d ever felt more tired.
“You leave all the time. You don’t talk to me, except about easy things. It makes me crazy. You want me to say things but you never say them either. Don’t I get to care too?”

Miles makes a journal entry about how awesome the new Star Wars movie is. Molly and Topaz brave the mall to go Christmas shopping.
2016: Jean wonders what the mansion thinks are the best Christmas movies to introduce to her niece and nephew.
2017:
2018: The Danger Room Paradox: Maya boasts about being a Star Wars hotshot pilot; Laurie texts Kyle about arguing with Jean about wanting to cut into Natasha’s head to cure the zombie virus; Terry texts Kyle to let him know Minecraft doesn’t count as a second date.
2019:
2020: Operation: Siege Perilous: X-Force holds a briefing on a new case, a series of deaths where the cause is unknown but they look drained of all life energy and it’s decided Jean should be brought in for psychic help; Gabe and Natasha go to a dump site to look for clues; Kevin and Clea call on a member of the magical underground; Amanda brings tea while Wanda hits the books; Marie-Ange gives new recruit Topaz a lesson in field work; Artie and Amanda meet after using their respective resources and finding nothing; back at the office, Doug starts teaching the injured Jubilee more about computer research; Jean and Emma look for psychic residue in Central Park and are ambushed by the culprit, a psionic parasite called Roma who pulls all of them into a pretend dimension; in Roma’s dimension, X-Force is called on to protect Dr. Strange, who is being attacked by the Black Court of the Hellfire Club, breaking a truce between the two groups; both groups set about locating Illyana Rasputin, the Hellfire Club so they can steal her Soulsword, X-Force because Strange left hints about her and the Darkhold, a mythical magic text; Cypher is hired by both groups to assist, but sets up X-Force in a trap when he tells them Illyana’s location but not that the Hellfire Club will be there; meanwhile, Sarah Morlocke looks for help from X-Force as her people are vanishing; during the ambush, leader Remy Lebeau is captured and Natasha Romanoff and Wanda Maximoff killed while Felicia Hardy is rescued from certain death by the enemy, Gabriel Cohuelo; Cypher kills Charlie Plunder back at X-Force headquarters; Remy is brought before Selene, the Black Queen and manages to kill Sebastian Shaw before being killed by the Black Knight, Amanda Sefton; the remaining team arrives back home to find Charlie’s body and Sarah letting them know a mass abduction of the Morlocks has taken place; in a suicide mission to stop Selene getting the Soulsword, X-Force attacks the ritual; Jubilee is killed by Amanda before Amanda is herself killed by X-Forcer Adam Destine; Kevin, disguised as North, is taken before Selene and reveals the reason for his disguise - he has hidden forty pounds of Semtex in the gut of the larger man which went unnoticed; Kevin blows himself up and badly injures Selene; in a series of flashbacks, Kevin undermines Gabe’s loyalty to the Hellfire Club; Remy meets clandestinely with the magically-enslaved Emma Frost and makes her a deal; Amanda sees the departure of her lover Marie-Ange as the result of Remy’s death; back to the ‘current time’, Emma turns on Selene and with Adam’s help infuses Jean with the power of the Darkhold, which had previously been in Illyana; Black Court members Topaz and Clea attack Adam while he’s vulnerable, but Emma saves him and he teleports out with Illyana; Jean battles Selene, killing her with the combined power of the Darkhold and… something else; the amount of power Jean carried lets her reveal Roma’s machinations and with Emma helping her stay sane, defeats her and uses the pent-up psychic energy released by her death to heal the cracks in Xorn’s patchwork universe and exposes the truth about M-Day; X-Force return to themselves, realising no time has passed at all and that the other world wasn’t real; Emma calls everyone back to talk about the ramifications; Jean, distraught about what she has learned, goes to Kevin (who was her lover in Roma’s dimension) for comfort. He does his best but emotions are weird.
2021: On the day of X-Force’s office relocation to District X, Artie texts Amanda to remind her she needs to pack up her cubicle; Jubilee helps Kevin pack his bar; Kevin and Felicia check out a potential new local ‘The Original Kirby’s’; Darcy helps Wanda organise the layout for the new “Weird Magic Shite” offices and storage; Jubilee lets X-Force know she and Clarice will be handing out wine candy in the new office’s reception area, in costume; Marie-Ange and Topaz work on unpacking Avalon-lite - one of the back offices in the new building.
