Introduction.

general-> Galeclan is a clan formed miles from the original four clans, founded by Galefrost and a group of cats cast out from the clans unfairly, after new rules were put in place banning non-heterosexual relationships, as well as allowing injured cats, deformed kits, and their queens to be kicked out of the clan. Only old cats who could no longer hunt and fight were allowed to retire, sometimes cats worked until they died to avoid being kicked out. Starclan, furious with the clan’s choices, guided galefrost and his group to a new territory, sat in the middle of a large mountain ring, where there was always prey and few predators. It seemed like a safe haven, and was for generations before Foxyap came with her rouges and loners. Starclan granted Galestar and his group wings, to travel to the gathering at fourtrees- where a new oak was beginning to grow.

[note cats who travel to Galeclan and are accepted can go to their moonstone and receive wings, though they take upwards of a year to fully grow in.]

Galeclan -> Galeclan runs on a loose rule system and command chain. The leader and deputy make decisions together, and votes are held to get the clan’s opinion. Once a cat reaches 6 moons, they have a say in clan choices, as much as a senior warrior does. They always have prey available, and haven’t suffered a harsh winter since they arrived. The weather is always around 60-70 degrees, warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter, but never too cold. The clan makes the journey to fourtrees every full moon, despite the anger of the original four clans, they have to hold back because of the truce. Galeclan has a inner-clan culture around fur painting and accessories, made by crafters- usually cats who can’t hunt or fight for some reason.

Foxyap’s group -> Foxyap’s group is a violent pack of rouges and loners in a half-put together clan, with Foxyap as their ruler and lone decision maker. Only cats who she deems fit can join the clan, and she’s known to lash out and severely injure or kill her own warriors when angry. She harasses Galeclan constantly, and often leaves them half dead warriors to rehab to see how far they’ll go to save them. She’s extremely strict- even one paw out of line may land you dead or tortured and imprisoned to fight in her arena for her upper warrior’s entertainment. The clan’s culture revolves around bones and furs- her senior warriors wear pelts and bone armor, while she wears a fox skull as well as tough, leather and bone armor. It’s said much of the clan hasn’t seen her face for moons- it’s worn to intimidate them. Her lower warriors wear bone necklaces and other accessories, made by the medicine cat, awarded for major accomplishments. [trainees have a small scar on their muzzle, fighters have a half-ring around their muzzle, and warriors (fox’s senior fighters) have a ring around their jaw and muzzle]

Solkun’s group -> a small band of rouges living on a patch of Galeclan territory. They don’t seem to be currently bothering anyone, unless a cat bothers them. Led by solkun, the group is spread out with no real camp. They seem to be leaving the clan alone, for now. Torture is common when rules are broken or spies are caught. [two markings on shoulder indicate membership of the group]
