(gonna just re paste most of the WIP description)

Gotta say, this pairing is really fun to draw for me. Both veteran warriors, soldiers of wars, both went trough absolutely traumatic events, cursed by the hells. And both soft at their very core.

Its also kinda funny on a meta level. Karlach, is an extremely loved character by the community, so in a a lot of different alternate worlds she ends up with her close lovers or friends on the mission to save her very being. While Galmar on the other hand, he doesnt belong to her realm, and part of his curse basically puts him in the spot to never be able to be in any romantic relationship(will go into more detail later down the line). And while he doesnt know about that side of his curse, his obsession with work and his duty put him in a position where it doesnt matter. So in this case I like to think that Karlach is basically saving his soul, the curse rules work differently here, and she is giving him the greatest blessing of all.

Recently I decided to try a Beth and DB Fugen/Utsushi and I absolutely adore having this goofy trio of DBs ! so fun! "Sparking romance and timid giants" colored(BG3)

Wanted to do this type of comic for awhile now.

Galmar(my big fighter boi) has been the unbreakable stoic Vampire slayer as a whole but I never managed to explore the absolute disaster of his more social/romantic side.

So when I got into BG3 I saw Karlach as the perfect wholesome person to pair him with, she just has the right blunt energy to contrast his very timid and evasive nature XD

Usually the dynamic I would have is Cerise(sharpshooter lady) and Beth(barbarian lady) being "Wingmen" to him to get him into romance stuff,but I like that in BG3 they are filling in for Karlach instead XD

Plus its kinda hillarious how usually the dynamic is Tav and other 3 companions but in this case its Karlach and 3 "Tavs" XD

"Muscle Madness and big heavy weapons!" COLORED (MHW/MHR) (Ill paste the old text for context) Wanted to do a dumb comic comparing my 2 super massive vampire hunters Galmar and Beth to hunters with the "Buff Gamma/Extremely" aesthetic for fun. Its just fun a concept to me when massive characters wield very quick weapons XD Mind you Beth and Galmar could absolutely suplex or powerbomb a Rajang(did a comic on that last one XD) , but they like their quick weapons! (also yes, Galmar is bothered to call his Anjanath hand axe a sword XD ) And now I have some time to play some Sunbreak so I can work on making Beth's DB build biblically accurate, meaning as busted OP as I can possibly make it XD

Important note, I have been told by A DD fan that the pawn being confused at two+ arisen is absolutely impossible, so I fumbled the humor lore wise. (Ill just leave it in my headcanon that this is a relatively new and inexperienced Pawn XD )

Gonna try to be short for those new to these- Unholy Trinity is my trio of vampire hunters I recreate in games. In my version of BG3 events they all take the spot of the Tav/durge in a single story.

As far as their relationship with Karlach:

-Beth and Karlach are barbarian besties, two UngaBunga friends that share a single braincell

-Cerise sees Karlach in a very cute/endearing light, having a very similar energy to Beth(a person she worked with for like a century), just slightly smaller and less feral XD

-Galmar and Karlach are romantically linked. Originally I wasnt planning to have Galmar romance anyone, but after my first playtrough befriending Mama K with Beth I noticed too many elements that connected her to Galmar. And that decision made me do some romantic comics with him and her(posted a few months ago I believe)

So, all in all, my whole trinity likes Karlach, she deserves it

Felt like making a celebratory piece since ive official made the endgame build versions of my Unholy Trinity, both the Arisen and Pawn variants. Have played like 180+ hours across the 3 accounts and it has been an absolute Joyride . Ill gush more about the series and how important it is for me for this reason in the final piece. Unholy Trinity and Gear Alterations (Lords of the Fallen) the other day I got all endings in the game, felt like sketching something stupid with my 3 redhead degenerates Figured I can make a joke origin on why Beth is wearing an altered version of the Sin-Piercer chest piece in my Lotf themed comics (even if I think its neat I wish I could ditch the shoulder pad for Beth ingame XD)

"Some things never change". A BG2/BG3 piece featuring my Unholy Trinity and Jaheira/Boo/Minsc

This took FOREVER to finish

First panel(went with a brown aesthetic since it fits BG1-2) has the trinity in their Canon Vampire Hunter gear

Second panel(current time) has their BG3 gear

For those new to my Trinity

They are 3 veteran vampire hunters that hunt godlike vampires in my fantasy setting. I tend to recreate them in games (so I have this plot-canon thing where they unwillingly get throw into different universes)

The BG one is an example, and in my own headcanon with them they basically joined forces with Gorion's Ward and Jaheira and Minsc , in the first game. They were more on their own hunt for the vampire Bodhi and her coven in the Second one and they joined forces midway with the game protagonists, and after a few decades they get thrown back into the BG3 time, this time a bit nerfed due to tadpol shenanigans.

I suffered to get this done tonight before going to bed( a bit sick)

But I hope the few that see this enjoy it XD

"Lovers confrontation" (BG3)

Ok ITS DONE

The final chapter of the Galmar x Karlach romance subplot

Unfortunately this one is really poorly paced, and sorta "rushed"

But here is the thing, I worked on it for 2 full days, so it was either me doing this or doing nothing. So those like 5 people invested in this little romance, I hope you enjoy it

CONTEXT:

this is basically almost a week after the first 2 parts. At this point Karlach has been trying to get closer to Galmar but he has been finding ways to be avoid confrontation. The guy has been destroying himself with work, and while it did pay off for Karlach(getting her touch back) she has been absolutely torn by what Galmar has been doing to himself and also incredibely worried that he doesnt actually love her, pair that with the fact that she got her touch and she cant even embrace the man she fell in love with.
