Baking Cookies With The Variants

A little idea I came up with while prepping for my holiday baking. I hope you enjoy it.

Doctor Stephen Strange

• Do to his upbringing and reputation he was the most hesitant of the variants to even attempt any baking of any fashion until you moved into the Sanctum • He finds you even cuter when he comes home from a mission to find you covered in flour and sugar. Seeing you do anything domestic always leaves him pining for you • He tries to follow the recipe perfectly after reading it only once but usually ends up asking you for guidance • His favorite cookies are chocolate chip especially if you made them with extra chocolate • When your not looking he will attempt to throw in extra chocolate chips in the mix • One of his favorite parts is fucking you on the kitchen counter while the cookies bake in an attempt to beat the timer

Defender Strange

• Defender loves to bake, prior to finding you he used to bake a lot with his younger sister Donna but with his busy schedule with balancing the universe he hardly ever has the time • His favorite cookie is snickerdoodle’s especially with extra brown sugar • He’s not one to ever skip on the details of a recipe, so to make sure it comes out right he will keep the cookbook floating close by • His favorite memory of baking was the time your kisses got to heated and he grabbed your ass leaving flour handprints on your but and breasts. • The best part of baking with you is the opportunities for him to hold you from behind as your hands work together to create things • He will sneak kisses in between switching of baking sheets or any chance he can get while giving sweet praises

Sinister Strange

• He hasn’t baked once since the incursion until you fell into his world so he’s definitely rusty • At first he was very hesitant to even show you his kitchen, you just happened to stumble upon it one day and started making treats for each other. He found out that his favorite cookie you made together were thumb print cookies • When he caught a sneak peak of you fumbling around for ingredients he would manifest for you what you needed without asking • He adores watching you bake, when your not looking he will watch in amazement as you graciously dance across the kitchen putting the ingredients together • He’s a huge sucker for holding you from behind while baking. Mostly bc he is so touch starved, he just loves being around doing anything with you • You had your suspicions about him loving your cooking until he dropped hints about his favorite cookies confirming this thought • His favorite memory of baking with you is the time you showed him how to make icing, he ended up making a mess and you licked it off his fingers slowly. Thus leading to the both of you fucking on the kitchen floor almost forgetting about the cookies baking.

Doctor Strange Supreme

Out of all the variants he had never baked not once. When you found out about this you were shocked and wasted no time showing him how it’s done

He’s the only variant that can memorize a recipe by reading it once. He’s had hundreds of years to study and meditate so remembering how to make cookies was pretty straightforward

His favorite part of baking is the decorating. He loves putting all the details together and taking his time.

His favorite cookie is double chocolate brownie hands down.

He still uses magic to calm the tremors in his hands to decorate, as much as he hates to admit it.

His favorite past time with baking was when he pulled you onto his lap enjoying your kisses that taste like cookies. Which always usually leads to sexy time after

⬇ here i will be compiling as much as possible of my very specific hcs about my favourite play dolls from pokemon that ive rambled about everywhere else, usually at 3 in the morning. and will be updating this post whenever i will. this is still just a small percentage of everything going on in my head lmao. ⬇

RED 💖

mute boy born to a family of jolly, talkative and enthusiastic fishers. they make this their entire personality and reds house is very fishing themed. hes... absolutely not as enthusiastic as a kid and sick of the smell of fish, but enjoys it as an adult.

his pikachus a much bigger beast than most pikas in comparison. Supreme Champion.

during G1 he is very polite and well mannered in contrast to green and leaf. his room is tidy and he goes to bed early. though he defends all dumb rowdy shit leaf pulls anyway. this is reflected in his pkmn being more of the gentle giant sort.

he has learned a lot of cooking + baking skills from his mom and the smell of his outdoor cooking can instantly summon leaf and green (reluctantly) to him during G1. he is a huge sweet tooth as well and prefers tea over coffee.

only looks retired as an adult; often sleepy and napping and walking everywhere in crocs. boring as hell but hey its endearing when red does it. but he is very much in peak physical strength and still quickly sweeping other trainers' teams. despite his usual serene demeanor he can still go for the most rash decision and just go apeshit w his pokemon.

TERMINALLY OFFLINE. no way is he going to understand what "ratioing team rocket epic style big W" is going to mean. types bluntly, like your dad. last tweet from him was six years ago, a 240p quality video about encountering an ursaring in a hut in the middle of the woods.

his usual pokeball throw resembles a baseball pitch.

exactly just as geeky as he is athletic. he enjoys the battle tree, but he still wishes for more. his dormant interest in wildlife biology and conservation that he had as a child is soon reignited and hes gonna get that PhD.

enjoys haunted locations too much. even leaf is confused by this! he decides to buy the shittiest abandoned house. which is also haunted. but reds eyes sparkle as always, man is FLEXING and determined to renovate this thing while green is frantically experiencing literally every emotion at once from jumpscares to "huh red knowing how to renovate is kinda ehehehe" then again pacing around sobbing over what were they thinking buying this house.

GREEN 💚

his and daisy's mother was a musician with a similar personality to him. his father, prof. oak's son, was more like daisy and a humble gardener w grass pkmn by his side. neither were too interested in battling or going on adventures.

he is extremely multifaceted when it comes to styles and music tastes, for example. somehow this man can combine prep, jock, geek, stoner and punk rock to his style all at once. his music taste is ALL.

nowadays his eevee is sporting the same hairstyle as him.

millennial still trying to make his podcast a big thing. his poke-twitter is fairly professional. relatively offline, not hip enough for zoomer trainers.

a francoboo. had his boy crazy era in kalos and thus more experienced than red when it comes to relationships. some of his french ex bfs still chase after him but shit bricks every time red answers the door instead.

at least he got them to take good fancy pictures of him in kalos. and he cooks kalosian recipes quite well, spoiling red with those nicely decorated crepes. but likely he experienced some paris syndome too. when you realize lumiose city kinda often smells like piss...

not very artistic. he draws like a 5 year old.

bad at figuring out what lesbians like. he buys leaf ellen degeneres merchandise :(

hes just kind of. eternally stuck in 90s slang and still having his default insults be so hilariously lame they wouldnt sting anyone. like buttcheek.

this is a more recent thing about my design for him but his left eyelid is perpetually droopier than the other.

LEAF 💙

showed up inexplicably in pallet town one day and simply asserted herself. no further elaboration. her origins remain a mystery. she biked all the way inside oak's lab and kept biking.

diversity win! in this universe leaf is closer to being an "ash counterpart" than red is.

since shes always seeking new thrills, she lives in a van as an adult. it looks pretty amazing and cozy from the inside and plenty of room to cook! on the outside theres like. airbrushed venusaurs and wizards and venusaur wizards of all sort.

a big ball of positive meatheadness to the point where shell def blow up a lot of things thinking everythings gonna be just fine. some people want her dead for this.

absolutely will put anything in her mouth and sometimes this is terrifying. tries to always make her cooking look like something "fun" and colorful that kids would enjoy but usually fucks up the look.

on-off relationships with women, she makes a new rival with lgbt undertones every two months. popular gal like that. dont ask her for relationship advice.

quite online and very charming. types like cher on social media. still, she remains popular and loved amongst the youth.

had a geocities in 2004 where she documented her adventures (bc i want G1 to be as 2004 as possible like that). it was an eyesore to look at.

often forms a trio with may and kris and they go on roadtrips eeeeverywhere. they either love her one day or think of her as a dumpster fire personified the next day.

First off- I adore your Witcher Meta. It's exactly the kind of stuff I love to read and you lay it out SO well.

So that makes you the perfect person to ask: is there any canon backing up the common headcanon of Geralt (or other Witchers) not being able to cook well?

Ahhh thank you so much. I still get a bit self conscious about how extra I am, how detailed I can get, so I am very grateful I’ve found people just as nerdy as I am 😅

As far as book canon only, the only Kaer Morhen witcher I can remember being referred to as a bad cook, is Lambert! (People can correct me if they remember something else obv)

In general, it seems like they eat pretty well.

For Triss’s first dinner at Kaer Morhen, they served her “beer potage, thick with croutons and cheese,” and they drank cider, all of which sounds amazing.

The Geeky Chef made this potage which yes, looks absolutely delicious.

Then for breakfast the next day they served her porridge.

Kaer Morhen doesn’t have servants (maybe they did in the old days when the mages were there but not anymore) and they cook for themselves and so I feel like they eat quite well, even during long winters. Maybe rustic and simple but comfort food.

My headcanon is that Vesemir is the best cook, due to his experience and patience and role in caring for the keep. But I think Geralt, Eskel, and Cöen are no slouches, and if you let them make the meals they love, they feed each other well and put their little individual flourishes on there. I mean Geralt LOVES food. I can put a “Geralt and Food” post together if anyone is interested.

But as for Lambert, here is what Cöen says in Blood of Elves. He is training Ciri and they’re getting tired and starting to think about dinner.

“I’m not tired, I’m hungry.”

“Bloody hell, so am I. And today’s Lambert’s turn and he can’t cook anything other than noodles…if he could only cook those properly…”

So it seems like they take turns, and that at least Cöen does not look forward to Lambert’s turn.

Me, I’m a Lambert. My sisters get together usually weekly to have dinner and whenever I volunteer to cook, everyone else “kindly” insists I do not go to the trouble. 😂😂😂😂

If I remember correctly, TWN put a little reference to this into season two. However, I haven’t rewatched S2 yet so don’t quote me on that.

Also, I must mention at this point @artanisnaanie has a fic called In the Kitchen of a Keep in the Mountains. She is a nerd about medieval cooking and the fic has a chapter and recipe for each character and it’s really fantastic. I recommend checking it out!

He's not as bad as Lockwood says he is and you know it. He's a respecter of ladies, chivalrous and he loves your geekiness. Like, LOVES it.

Does he see a plus sized woman? Hell nah. He sees a goddess who should be treated even better than one. He’ll show you off to everyone with pride, saying that he’s lucky that you chose him and you’re a diamond in the rough, and always wonders what he’ll do without you. Really though, what would he?

He’s also adventurous and courageous so whenever you’re on an endeavour he’s right behind you, helping you collect things and put them in a memory box so that years later, he’ll still remember the love you gave each other.

You’ll do weird things together, like try out food combinations that no one even dared to think of, and if you found that one tasted delicious, you two would share the recipe until it was the new craze. Sometimes it was.

You’d be so awed that he’s a supervisor at Fittes and the top agent, but when he loses his talent you’re the first to know and you just comfort him by not bringing it up because it’s his sensitive subject. You’re conscious of it and he loves your compassion.

At first glance, Carl appears to be pretty much everything that Johnny isn't. He's nerdy, geeky, timid, and a lover of all things science. Despite this, the two of them are known somewhat as a duo within Aron City, mostly because Carl is typically only ever seen hanging around Johnny whenever he's out and about. Carl's more of the shy and quiet type, and simply doesn't have any other friends his age—though, to be entirely fair, Johnny doesn't have many either.

Intense social anxiety often prevents poor Carl from interacting with other people. Of course, he's trying to improve on this aspect—especially now that he lives all on his own. He's only just recently moved out of his parents' house and into his own apartment; all the sudden changes can be a lot to handle for one guy! And add the lack of a steady job into the mix, and, well, that sort of stress can be a recipe for disaster when it comes to Carl's fragile feelings.

Tell me about your pumpkin goat cheese soup!!!

Hello! Thanks for your patience! I wanted to answer this when I was on my computer for ease and then I never had time the couple of occasions I got on the laptop.

So, funny story, I actually obtained the pumpkin goat cheese soup recipe I use because I'm a big ol', nostalgic, video game nerd. You see, in one of the dungeons in the game Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, you keep finding ingredients that a yeti uses to make soup for his ill wife. The two most prominent ingredients are a pumpkin and a wheel of goat cheese.

When the game was going to have an HD release on the Wii U, Nintendo decided that a fun idea for promoting the game would be releasing an official recipe for Yeto's soup!

I, of course, couldn't let it go untested and have made it myself. Now, I admit to inexperience with homemade soup (I have made two types in my entire life), so the recipe might not be perfect, but I quite enjoyed it.

While I'm rambling, a fun fact is that Nintendo's recipe isn't actually a perfect recreation of the soup...

It has fish in it! He uses a fish called a Reekfish, which I think looks like a salmon. One day, I might try out the recipe that Geeky Chef concocted based on the same video game soup. I honestly have no idea if pumpkin works well with fish!

Ruby red grapefruit cake with cream cheese grapefruit frosting and grapefruit jelly in the middle.

So, I try to always write notes on the cake I make. Because my memory is a sieve and this means I won't accidentally make the same cake twice. It also let's me know if there's anything I should make note of if I make it again.

Here is my note for this cake, stuck to the first page of the recipe:

Anyway, this cake is insanely grapefruit. Even Mr. Geeky, who loves grapefruit, is like "This is good but, wow, maybe a little less grapefruit?" So, not one of my favs, but I didn't hate it and I had a fun time baking it, so I'm happy.

Tall Nerd Gets Dommed by a Guy A Foot Shorter than Him

They have a lot of fun together, Milo helping Lasko come out of his shell and Lasko introducing Milo to ever more geeky stuff

Milo is definitely jealous of the fact that Aggro beelines for Lasko to claim Lasko’s lap, climb his shoulders, make a nest of his hair, etc. (but Lasko assures him that he still likes Milo best)

Oh Asher has so much fun teasing Lasko. He’s so easy to fluster

But he also loves comforting and encouraging Lasko. Asher is great at self-care and mental health days.

And They Were Both Subs (Um, Actually, they’re both switches, and it’s interesting to see how that evolves with two people who are normally more submissive, but with room to explore themselves)

Lasko is also good at comforting Asher, who, as we know, also has self-worth issues. They may or may not get into “No, you’re amazing,” matches.
