No amount of time and space can separate you from the people you are meant to be with in your life. 🌙👻❤️
Yes, these are my interpretations of Lunaris’ parents. Also yes Lunaris mentioned his father a few times in the series.
Guess I forgot to mention Seraphim was Lunaris’ mother on here.

Quick Ducktales Rant:
I've been thinking alot about General Meridian and his relationship with his son Lunaris.
I personally don't believe he was a bad father or general but instead someone who was genuinely trying to do the right thing to protect his people from an unknown threat and ended up causing pain and suffering because of it. Lunaris when talking about him simply states that his father was so afraid of the Earth that he hide the Moonlanders in a attempt to protect them, which resulted in both the Moonlnaders becoming more threatened by moon mite attacks as they drilled deeper into the mites territory and a general sense of terror as they waited and prepared for a invasion that never came. Lunaris himself doesn't really talk down about his father other than his comment on fearing the Earth and I don't really see any evidence that he was a bad father to Lunaris other than letting his paranoia effected how he raised his son. Generational trama carrying over into Lunaris would dealt with the forced isolation of his people by lashing out at its source.
Meridians first instinct when faced with the unknown was to protect his people and son at all cost, even if it meant hiding. While it could be said that he put them in danger with the mites, It would have been much more reasonable to think they could handle a lunar threat, something they have experience with, rather than a unknown Earth Threat.

Emerald Ring Second Generation snippet:
Warning: deprogramming
It was like having cold water dumped on him. The sudden realization of how much Kalagan had warped his view of the world. Carter fumbled with the brush in his hands it had been months since he has brushed his own hair; Kalagan brushing his hair was supposed to be a just once thing, but somehow it became a daily activity.
Now that Carter thought about it, a lot of things he and Kalagan did started of with Carter telling himself "Just this once." And Kalagan would use that little opening Carter had given him to make Carter believe what he wanted.
The worse part is that Kalagan's programming had worked; Carter spent all last night feeling guilty, wanting to go back. Carter had to remind himself that Kalagan had bought him to keep himself in that bed.
"Are you alright?" Emily's voice interrupted Carter's tangle of thoughts.
"Can you... Can you help me part my hair?" Carter asked.
Emily smiled sadly at him, but accepted the brush. She softly parted Carter's hair, using her fingers to help, but when Carter close his eyes, all he could imagine was being in Kalagan's living room with Kalagan softly parting his hair.

obviously I don't wanna do the whole "this is just some guy but JK later we find out he's actually a super special guy" bs so what is actually happening is that Meridian frequently insists that he is a Mediocre and Uninteresting Fellow but literally everyone else is like "??? why are you lying ??? that clearly isn't true why are you literally fucking addicted to telling falsehoods literally who are you what is your deal" bc obviously he's also pretending to be Aphelion which. Really contradicts the normal guy thing. Literally the exact opposite of a normal guy.
of course the kicker is that Meridian legitimately does think the unassuming guy thing is just him being honest LMAO
I mostly just hope that it's read correctly as Mery specifically being a strange and contradictory person and not the narrative itself lacking.

also thinking about my annoyance with xXxT3HPenGu1N0ofD00mxXx wannabes in the ''phonk music'' (it really is just fucking drift) community with artist names that r3pl4c3 letters or put different LVTTXRS in the most obscure stupid places to be ''hip and cool''. and also the warping of meaning when something becomes overshared/popular/whatever (apparently thanks to tiktok phonk as a genre was generalised but transformed into what bitches actually call drift. also music genres are on one hand super great to find specific songs but on the other hand so extremely stupidly specifically limiting it drives me nuts. or should i say it DRIFTS me nuts)
i will laser beam explode everyone with my mind. Good Bye Now

Examining SVSSS Canon: 2/∞
THE PRE-CANON TIMELINE
This post will attempt to provide an answer to several questions, including the ages of some of the current peak lords, as well as a rough timeline of events in the extras relative to the current day. A simple, bullet-point timeline will be at the end of this post, with relevant quotes and analysis above.
The timeline of SVSSS isn't particularly easy to piece together, and many fans are unsure of things such as the ages of certain characters, or how long the current generation of peak lords has been in power. As a matter of fact, it seems like even Airplane himself doesn't have a set timeline in mind for the events of PIDW pre-LBH:
“Your ages?” To tell the truth, Shen Qingqiu didn’t really know the precise age of this body. He raised his head at Shang Qinghua. “Wouldn’t you know better than I do?” Shang Qinghua twirled the brush in his hand. He’d never thought about this question either, so he figured he might as well just say whatever. Therefore he randomly wrote a number down in a couple of strokes. (7 Seas, Ch. 31)
It would be easy enough to take this quote and call the timeline a mystery-- however, there are a surprising amount of clues in the text, enough to at least put together a decent idea of when things happened and how old certain characters are, depending on which theories and interpretations one ascribes to.
There are two particular facts which are our most important hints as to the pre-LBH timeline, upon which this entire analysis hinges.
First, we have the spacing of the Immortal Alliance Conferences:
After much difficulty, Luo Binghe managed to turn seventeen, at which point he finally participated in the event the cultivation world held once every four years: the Immortal Alliance Conference. (7 Seas, Ch. 1)
And next, we have the length of time since Shen Qingqiu began to cultivate:
Before, Shen Qingqiu had thought that this body’s qualifications were already incredible, to have formed a core in only ten or so years when he’d begun cultivation so late.  (7 Seas, Ch. 19)
Notably here, what is translated as "ten or so years" is 十几年, which is more accurately "ten and a few years." This means that at the time Shen Qingqiu formed a golden core, he had been at Cang Qiong Mountain for around 10-15 years, but likely no longer or shorter than that.
This tells us quite a bit already-- because we know that Shen Qingqiu only reached core formation after becoming peak lord, as well as after Luo Binghe had already become a disciple:
Luo Binghe was using the incorrect cultivation manual that Shen Qingqiu had handed him; he should have long since died bleeding from the seven apertures, his body rupturing down to his bones, skin, meridians, tendons, and flesh... Shen Qingqiu was filled with paranoia; he forever felt like everyone was secretly talking behind his back, discussing how he’d been unable to attain Core Formation even after this long.  (7 Seas, Ch. 24)
So this tells us that it could not have been any longer than around 15 years between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe joining Cang Qiong Mountain, and was likely at least a few years less than that because it has already been awhile since Luo Binghe was given the fake manual, which likely occured shortly after he arrived, and Shen Qingqiu reaches core formation at some point after this scene.
This means that the Qing generation's ascenscion likely occured no more than ten years after Shen Qingqiu joined the sect-- putting the ages for Shen Qingqiu and Yue Qingyuan respectively at roughly twenty-six and twenty-nine when they became peak lords.
The timeline can be clarified further and expanded, however, due to the spacing of the IAC. We know that the IAC occured when Luo Binghe was seventeen, and that it occurs every four years-- meaning that there would have been IAC taking place also when he was thirteen, nine, five, one, and three years before he was born.
However, we also know that it had not actually been fourteen years since Luo Binghe's birth at the start of SVSSS.
In the translation, Luo Binghe says the following when Shen Qingqiu asks his age:
“This disciple is fourteen,” Luo Binghe obediently replied. (7 Seas, Ch. 1)
However, the original says:
洛冰河乖巧地道:“弟子虚岁十四。”
"虚岁" here would be better translated as "nominal age." In ancient times, a child was one year old on the day of their birth, and aged up by one year with each new year-- so if a child was born the day before the new year, then at two days old he would already be counted as two years old. Sometimes, this would be counted on the spring festival new year, but other times it would be counted on the winter solstice.
As for Luo Binghe's precise chronological age, that is up for some determination. We know roughly the time of year he was born:
Immediately after birth, Luo Binghe was abandoned by his parents, swaddled in white cloth, and put in a wooden basin that was lowered into the Luo River. This occurred on the coldest days of the year... (7 Seas, Ch. 1)
The "coldest days of the year" here is 数九寒天, which refers to the nine periods of nine days each following the winter solstice. The winter solstice typically occurs on December 20-21, meaning that Luo Binghe's birth date is somewhere between December 20-March 12. If nominal age is being counted by winter solstice in this world, then that makes him chronologically thirteen at the start of SVSSS, but if it is calculated by the spring festival, then he is chronologically either twelve or thirteen at the start of SVSSS, as the Chinese new year can fall anywhere between January 21 - February 21, meaning that LBH could have been born either before or after this time.
So, let's just say that LBH's chronological age, for the purposes here, is thirteen, and then adjust our IAC timeline as follows:
There was one when he was chronologically sixteen, twelve, eight, four, the year he was born, and four years before he was born.
Now, how does this help us determine a timeline?
Well, we have the following statement:
Yue Qingyuan’s knuckles slowly brushed along Xuan Su’s hilt. “I was able to meet Senior Su Xiyan once at an Immortal Alliance Conference, many years ago." (7 Seas, Ch. 18)
Because we know that Su Xiyan died when Luo Binghe was born, we know that this meeting could not have occured at any conferences after his birth. It also would be unlikely that they met the same year Luo Binghe was born, as Su Xiyan would likely already be dead at that point if LBH was born after the new year. So, the latest that Yue Qingyuan could have met Su Xiyan would be twenty years before Luo Binghe was thrown into the Abyss.
We now combine this with the earlier discussion of the ages of Shen Qingqiu and Yue Qingyuan, and here I will note the following:
Yue Qingyuan slowly said, “At age fifteen, I entered Qiong Ding Peak." (7 Seas, Ch. 21)
This puts Yue Qingyuan roughly three years older than Shen Jiu:
“When [Shen Jiu] was twelve years old, he was but a slave my family had purchased from traveling child traffickers. " (7 Seas, Ch. 6)
Shen Jiu joined Cang Qiong Mountain at sixteen:
Liu Qingge didn’t even grace him with a sideways glance. “But certainly more success than a nobody who only began proper cultivation at age sixteen.” (7 Seas, Ch. 19)
This happened most likely directly after reuniting with Yue Qingyuan at an Immortal Alliance Conference. This puts Yue Qingyuan's age at nineteen during that conference, at which point he is head disciple, and has already gained some fame. However, this reunion has to occur before Luo Binghe's birth, Su Xiyan's death, and Tianlang-jun's defeat. This is because at this point, Yue Qingyuan has only been in Cang Qiong Mountain for four years-- thus, this particular conference is almost certainly the first one he has taken part in, and likely the first one he has attended at all, since a brand-new disciple in early stages of training most likely wouldn't have gone, therefore if Tianlang-jun had already been sealed by this point, Yue Qingyuan would not have had the chance to meet Su Xiyan.
So, the latest Shen Qingqiu could have joined Cang Qiong Mountain, at age 16, is twenty years before the Abyss, which would put him at age thirty-six at the youngest at that time.
Now, what about additional conference cycles?
It's possible that the conference in which Yue Qingyuan met Su Xiyan and/or after which Shen Qingqiu joined CQM may have been the one before this-- but that would also add four additional years to the time SQQ had been cultivating.
The earliest that Luo Binghe could have joined CQM would be when he was a little over ten years old, as that is when his mother dies:
On the bed lay a haggard old woman. With great effort, she tried to prop herself up, but from beginning to end, she was unable to do so. A small figure rushed in from outside. A tender-faced Luo Binghe, only a little over ten years old, supported the woman. Around his neck hung that jade pendant. (7 Seas, Ch. 3)
Shen Qingqiu had not reached core formation when Luo Binghe joined the sect. This means that if the IAC where SQQ joined the sect was four years before Luo Binghe's birth, then by the time Luo Binghe joins the sect it has been about fourteen to fifteen years since SQQ began cultivating.
Adding an additional four years would bump that to eighteen to nineteen years, which exceeds the "ten and some" years that SQQ took to reach core formation.
In my opinion, this also tells me that LBH joined CQM when he was absolutely no older than ten or eleven, and likely went to join immediately after his mother's death, because pushing LBH's join date later would also stretch the timeline of SQQ's cultivation. Now, this part does not specify whether the ten years old is nominal age or chronological age-- but because LBH's age of seventeen at the conference is referenced to his nominal age of fourteen, with a distance between of three years, then I am considering all age-numbers to be nominal age rather than chronological. This only really matters in regards to Luo Binghe for this analysis, though, as his birth year is the only one which has bearing on the timeline in regards to Su Xiyan's status.
With all of this information, we can determine with good confidence that the conference in which Yue Qingyuan met Su Xiyan was the same conference during which he reunited with Shen Qingqiu, which occured four years before Luo Binghe was born and twenty years before the Endless Abyss.
So because of this, we actually do have a relatively precise timeline of characters' ages, as well as events in the cultivation world.
This short timeline is also supported by the fact that Ming Fan is the most senior of Shen Qingqiu's disciples, and he is only sixteen, about 2-3 years older than Luo Binghe:
A youth around sixteen years old, tall and thin, promptly ran in through the door. “This disciple is here. What instructions does Shifu have?” (7 Seas, Ch. 1)
Had the Qing generation ascended too many years prior to Luo Binghe's joining the sect, it would be strange that the most senior disciple of Shen Qingqiu's was only sixteen, as in xianxia a disciple typically will not "graduate" at a certain age or cultivation stage, meaning that older disciples will maintain their role well into adulthood.
As for the rest of the peak lords, we have little to no information regarding the ages of Wei Qingwei, Qi Qingqi, or Mu Qingfang. However, we do know that Liu Qingge is quite young, and joined the sect both at an optimal age and a significant length of time before Shen Qingqiu:
At this point, Liu Qingge’s formal ascension to Bai Zhan Peak Lord, too, had likely only happened a couple years ago. There was a visible air of immaturity about his features, his gaze fierce and sharp, and within his every action was a young man’s spirited vigor. (7 Seas, Ch. 19)
and
Therefore, even though he’d entered the sect quite some time after Liu Qingge, because Qing Jing Peak was ranked second—only below Qiong Ding Peak—while Bai Zhan Peak was ranked seventh, Liu Qingge still had to address Shen Qingqiu as “Shixiong,” if through gritted teeth. (7 Seas, Ch. 24)
So, Liu Qingge is likely a year or two younger than Shen Qingqiu, but not by too much, since they still behave very much like contemporaries as teenagers-- let's say that Liu Qingge is likely around 14-15 when Shen Qingqiu joins the sect at age 16.
The other peak lord we know a bit about the age of is Shang Qinghua:
The older-than-average outer disciple Shang Qinghua, who currently occupied a seventeen-year-old body, looked around in all directions as he trailed behind the main team, who were unloading goods from the ship onto the docks. (7 Seas, Ch. 26)
He is seventeen here, and an outer disciple of An Ding Peak. We can place this a bit more definitively on the timeline by the fact that Shen Qingqiu is already a head disciple at this point in time:
“What I don’t know is how Shen Qingqiu got chosen as head disciple after starting cultivation so late,” said another outer disciple who’d joined Cang Qiong Mountain at an older age, his expression sour. (7 Seas, Ch. 26)
Unfortunately, we cannot place the exact point in time where Shen Qingqiu became head disciple-- one possibility is that it couldn't have happened until after Tianlang-jun's defeat, which occured about four years after he joined the sect, since he did not participate in the battle. But that is a weak argument, since none of the current generation besides Yue Qingyuan participated in that battle:
Of the current peak lords, only Yue Qingyuan had participated in that battle, as the head disciple of Qiong Ding Peak. (7 Seas, Ch. 17)
If using this argument, then that would mean that aside from Yue Qingyuan, none of the other peak lords had been chosen as head disciples at that time-- while that is a possibility, I think that a more feasible explanation would be that Yue Qingyuan was an exception, and participated in the battle specifically because of his wielding Xuan Su.
One thing we can extrapolate, however, is that Shang Qinghua was most likely an inner disciple for at least three years before the Qing generation's ascension. This is because of the following:
One day, Shang Qinghua’s concise Great System delivered a new command: Become the An Ding Peak head disciple within three years. (7 Seas, Ch. 26)
Now, it is somewhat loose evidence, as there is nothing to say that "three years" means for certain that the ascension would occur three years from that point, but it does mean that it occured no earlier than that. By now, Shang Qinghua has already been an inner disciple for some time, long enough to have been assisted by Mobei-jun a few times and to have gone on several missions-- most likely around a few months to a year or so at minimum.
Of course, how long has passed between Shen Qingqiu joining the sect and this point? Well, since Shen Qingqiu is still described as a youth:
Shang Qinghua suddenly heard the tinkling of sword tassel pendants, and a youth wearing Qing Jing Peak’s uniform slowly approached him. (7 Seas, Ch. 26)
Because of this description, I would say that Shen Qingqiu is most likely between seventeen and his early twenties, since it isn't particularly likely that he would become head disciple in less than a year after joining the sect. Of course, within this age range, there is one important event that occurs-- the battle of Bai Lu mountain, which would have occured when Shen Qingqiu was twenty and Yue Qingyuan was twenty-three.
Now, this gets into more of a speculation than anything else-- just before this point, Mobei-jun attacked Huan Hua Palace and the An Ding Peak disciples. If the battle of Bai Lu Mountain had already occured, it would have happened no more than a few years earlier. We also know that there is a tentative truce between the demon realm and the cultivation world:
This suggestion was solid. For many years, the Human and Demon Realms had maintained an uneasy balance and had yet to drop the pretense of peace. Eliminating Sha Hualing and her mob wouldn’t be impossible, but it would likely light a fuse. The demons definitely wouldn’t let her death go unanswered, and it wouldn’t be worth it if they stirred up an even greater conflict. (7 Seas, Ch. 3)
I suspect that this pretense of peace was likely set in place after the battle of Bai Lu Mountain, when the demon realm had just lost their ruler.
Since just a short time had happened since the demons' defeat and a likely truce between the realms, I find it unlikely that Mobei-jun, a prominent member of demonic nobility, at this time would be actively antagonizing the cultivation world by attacking Huan Hua Palace and Cang Qiong Mountain. Now, of course, there is a potential alternate storyline that this is exactly what happened, and Mobei-jun went rogue as an act of lashing out, and that interpretation would be perfectly valid on its own.
Personally, though, I believe that Shang Qinghua's meeting with Mobei-jun occured before the battle of Bai Lu Mountain, while the cultivation world and demon world were in the tense state on the edge of war. This means that Shang Qinghua most likely became an inner disciple when Shen Qingqiu was around 17-19 years old.
With this information, we can determine some relative ages:
Yue Qingyuan is three years older than Shen Qingqiu, who is a little older than Liu Qingge. Because Shang Qinghua was seventeen when Shen Qingqiu was already head disciple, it is most likely that he is around Liu Qingge's age, give or take a few years, as it is not particularly likely (though potentially possible) for Shen Qingqiu to have gone from new disciple to head disciple in the space of a single year.
Aside from these four, there are no other ages that can be determined for the peak lords.
With all of this information, a fairly decent timeline can be created. Characters' ages will be listed with each notable year.

This timeline operates under the following conditions. For some of these conditions, alternatives are discussed in the post above-- if you wish to use any of the alternative calculations, then you're more than welcome to adjust the timeline as applicable for your own use!
"Years" are counted from the first day of the spring festival/Chinese new year, rather than January 1
All character ages are nominal ages, so they were born in the year they are counted as age "1"
Luo Binghe was born after the new year, and so his nominal age is only about one year higher than chronological.
Shang Qinghua met Mobei-jun before the battle of Bai Lu Mountain
The system's time limit for SQH does reference the time of the Qing generation's ascension
The Immortal Alliance Conference takes place roughly in the middle of the year. Based on the fact that it is warm enough for the disciples to dip their feet into a stream and find that pleasant, it would make sense for the IAC to occur in a warmer season (Ch. 4)
Further References and Footnotes:
*Yue Qi was in the Lingxi Caves for more than one year and Qiu Manor had already been destroyed by the time he got out (Ch. 21)
**The birth of Luo Binghe occured a few days after the battle of Bai Lu Mountain. Depending on when LBH was born, it could be at the end of year -13 or the first few days of year -12 (Ch. 21)
***We do not know the earliest a child can join Cang Qiong Mountain, even though the appropriate age for cultivation most likely cuts off somewhere around 15 (due to YQY joining at that age and no comments about him being "too old"). For the purposes of this timeline, I am setting the absolute youngest to age 5, but more realistically a disciple wouldn't join until age 8-10 at the earliest.
****It is unknown whether the only time that disciples can join Cang Qiong Mountain is during the recruitment trials. Therefore, there remains a possibility for Ning Yingying to have joined the sect in the same year as Luo Binghe, but at some point before the recruitment trials due to connections. This can potentially be supported by Shen Jiu joining after the IAC, but at the same time, it is not confirmed that SJ joined CQM immediately, or if he had to wait until the next recruitment trial, so there is no clear canon precedent-- nonetheless, it is still possible. Note that Ning Yingying can only join at this late point if Luo Binghe joins at age 11, and after her. The only hard requirement is that NYY joined at some point before LBH.
*****I have placed this as the absolute latest time SQQ could have formed a golden core because this puts him at having been cultivating for sixteen years. It is a bit of a stretch already , but I don't think that "ten and a few" years could really be any longer than this. It is also worth noting that by the time SQQ reaches core formation, every other peak lord has already done so, with Yue Qingyuan first, Liu Qingge and Qi Qingqi next, and Shang Qinghua most likely last (Ch. 24)
--
Please let me know if you notice any errors in calculation, formatting, or missing details! This was quite substantial so there's a good chance I may have missed something.
Some of the points in this analysis and timeline calculations were brainstormed with the help of @zykamiliah , @cum-villain , @furbygoblinxiv . Many thanks!

Kylo finding you after being snatched from him and all he can focus on is getting you 🥹
"I wouldn't stop till I found you"
Hey so I literally thought I wrote this and had it posted but apparently Tumblr was being dumb so please don't be upset 😭
Warnings: language, violence, Kylo being the angry hoe he is, death, let me know if I missed anything:)
Tumblr media
(he's so pretty omfg-)
"no, I don't think you understand." KYLOS VOUCE was so loud that it echoed through the hanger bag as he yelled at an assortment of different piolets and stormtroopers.
"we won't rest till she's found. We won't stop for anything, it doesn't matter what it is. This is our top priority!"
Kylo felt hot white rage seeping into his body. Why did they have to take you. They could've taken a stormtrooper, a cadet, Hux, there were so many people who knew more.
You were completely innocent, sitting in the rebels interrogation room being yelled at by some man with short brown curls, he was going on about how "we won't let you go till you tell us" he was going on with the act of why they would do.
"Poe stop it. It's not like she's Ren" a tall, young girl with quite the completion walked into the room slapping Poe's shoulder "I'll take it from here"
The women looked at you for a moment almost as if you was deciding something.
"you're not evil..you're" she paused taking your hand in hers and closing her eyes "well you're a kind soul with nothing but good intentions...why are you with Ren?"
You looked up at her from your seat not saying a word
---
"Supreme Leader, we've found something on the meridian system" The general said turning his data pad towards Kylo.
"well? Why are you still here ?! Go get the fighters ready and prepare my ship, we're going to the meridian system."
The supreme leader walked away from Hux feeling a new sense of pride in hopes of finding you.
---
"there they are sir"
"prepare for landing near the south passage. I have a Jedi to kill"
When his ship landed he practically jumped out and ran toward the entrance, saber in hand
He was so mad that anyone who came near him got thrown to the ground via the force. He didn't stop running till he got to the interaction room when you were sitting with Rey, her hand in yours
Now this was a sight to behold. How dare she?
Kylo used his saber to cut a hole through the door and walked through
"why?! Why would you take her?! She doesn't know anything, you could've taken anyone on the ship but you took her!" Kylo screamed throwing Rey against the wall so hard that there was now a crack where she had hit.
"Kylo!" You screamed jumping into his arms and wrapping your legs around him pulling him closer
"I-I didn't tell them anything-" hot tears started to pool in your eyes while Kylo traced your back giving it light scratches "I missed you so much..I didn't know if I would ever see you again.."
Kylo looked at you and laid his lips into yours more gentle then he ever has
"you know I wouldn't stop till I found you"

I steamed with these drawings for a long time, but it was worth it.
When I drew the designs of the guardians, all sorts of ideas came to mind about what happened while Cornelia lived in Meridian. I really like what I came up with, and I'll try to explain why I drew it all at all.
In general, as you know, in this alternative, Cornelia went with Caleb to Meridian, leaving her family and friends, as well as the post of a guardian. This event has greatly shaken Will's confidence in herself as a leader who is obliged to unite girls. Especially after the arch with Nerissa, where she almost lost the Heart of Kandrakar. And don't forget about Taranee's doubts, because of which she even left the team in the canon. In general, Will had reasons to give the leader's place to a new member of the team - Orube. "Maybe someone else can handle it better?" she thought.
At first, it seemed to be a good idea to run away from responsibility. However, girls didn't think so. No one recognized Orube as a leader for many reasons, one of which was Will's authority as the previous head. And when the girls were looking for support in her, she couldn't provide it, because she's not as solid as Orube or Cornelia. Will is a sensitive nature, the heart of the team, not its foundation, and she isn't able to return everyone from heaven to earth because of her character.
Hence the main conflict was born: Will couldn't cope with the role of the guardian of the earth, since she wasn't able to take the position of Cornelia in the team. She felt out of place and understood that she used to be more effective. Against the background of the defeat that has already happened after Cornelia's departure and Taranee's doubts, this aggravated the feeling of failure, inferiority complex and hesitation. Confidence is the main quality of the guardian of the earth, and she lost it without even starting to develop in herself.
This is where the main dilemma began: she wanted the leader's place back. But not only because she realized her incompetence as a guardian of the earth. It's also about the Heart of Kandrakar. From the very moment of Orube's appearance and the transfer of the Heart, Will heard its call, at first barely perceptible, but growing stronger every day. With the understanding of where she really belonged, Will missed the feeling of unity with the Heart of Kandrakar, with its warmth and power. And it scared her. Because she began to see Nerissa in herself, to hear her phrases in her head and to dream that she's turning into a recently defeated enemy...
This is exactly what I wanted to convey in my first work: the binding vines that strangle Will and don't allow her to move; the imitation of the Heart of Kandrakar, which no longer belongs to her; fear from the desire to possess what she can no longer possess.
I hope I have enough strength to make a post about Orube, because I did the drawing for a long time and was a little tired =_=
In the second picture, I wanted to show Will's routine and her new powers. She conjures only plants, often flowers, as it's more difficult for her to cope with heavy stones and hard earth. This is due to fading self-confidence and lack of firmness in actions and decisions. She's effective in combat, but things don't always work out the way she intended, which makes her angry at the plants, as if they're a computer hanging at the wrong moment. She had to learn to cope with vines and flowers so that they were useful.
Also, these plants often get in the way and grow when and where it isn't necessary. For example, they can cling to the legs and grow while Will sleeps.

Your naga professor gives you a gift
General Plot: This is a longer, sloppy oneshot. You work at a library, frequented by a professor who studies amorous history and strike up a friendship with him.
Naga professor (Arion) x female reader
Word Count: 4k
💕 SFW MASTERPOST 💕
W: Yandere behavior, obsession, kidnapping, mostly sfw yandere fluff, there is a brief mention of cum, ambiguous ending
Tumblr media
You never noticed the way he looked at you. The way his gaze lingered on you while you pranced around him pushing your little cart of books.
“Need help finding something?” you asked him, holding a pile of books in your arms. You were a librarian in a college for the magical arts, already graduated yourself. You’d been offered the job right out of school after you interned there so you took it and never left.
It was a great atmosphere and the college community was kind of nice. Bright, young students were funny and ever hopeful, getting into all sorts of hijinks with their magic. The week before a student had glued himself to the ceiling of the gymnasium with a spell gone wrong.
As a hedgewitch, you didn’t have much magical power yourself. Your witch blood hadn’t allowed you any boons but your short stature and wide eyes. You could do hearth magic and bloom flowers, but that was about it. Your mother always told you if you applied yourself you could be a brilliant chemist, but it wasn’t something that interested you. The library was quiet and peaceful. Just right.
You recognized the professor. He was a handsome naga who taught in the history department. He came to the library often, staying late into the evenings. He always sat in the same corner, his thick green tail curled over itself in fat loops as he read, scribbling notes with long, strong fingers. He was quiet and you hadn’t spoken to him much, except a few pleasantries in passing. That day, however, you caught him perusing a shelf. He seemed to be searching for something.
He turned to you, jumping a bit.
“Sorry to startle you,” you chuckled, putting out your hand and brushing his shoulder.
You didn’t know why you did that. Maybe it was because he was handsome and flustered you a little. He had beautiful hazel eyes behind his metal framed glasses and long dark hair, streaked with a bit of silver, showing his age. He had it braided over his ears in the traditional naga way, the rest falling down his back in a smooth sheet. You jerked your hand back immediately. That probably wasn’t appropriate. Your cheeks pinkened, hoping you hadn’t offended him.
His eyes widened slightly at your hand, but he gathered himself a moment later.
“Erm…yes,” he said, “there’s a book in the database that doesn’t seem to be on the shelf. Heart Magic of the Meridian Era. It says it's here and I can’t find it.”
“Let me look into it for you,” you said.
He slithered behind you to the counter and you pulled up the title on your computer. You didn't know that while he followed you, he admired your plump bottom and the cute little legs you tipped around on perilously.
“Oh I see,” you explained, “that book is part of the special collection. You can’t remove it from the library, but I can help you make copies of any pages and give you a private room to review it.”
“That would be perfect,” he agreed, smiling at you.
His smile was handsome, his fangs very long and sharp.
“Everything okay here?” your manager Levi asked, sidling up to you.
He peeked over your shoulder.
“That book is in the special collection. Have you set him up with a private room?” he asked.
“Of course,” you said tightly.
He wasn’t a terrible manager, but he could hover a bit sometimes and occasionally it annoyed you. Placing a hand on your shoulder, he gave it a little squeeze.
“Great job, (Y/N),” he said, “come find me if you need any help.”
He wandered away to engage in his favorite professional technique, managing by walking around.
You glanced up to see the professor’s eyes narrowed watching him walk away.
“Shall we go?” you asked, jotting down the book’s identification number on a post it.
He seemed to relax a bit and nodded at you to lead him on.
“I’m (Y/N), by the way,” you said, making conversation as you led him down the stone steps that went down a few floors to the basement where the special books were kept. They were books with dangerous magic that only professors and supervised graduate students could look at.
“I’ve seen you around the library, but we’ve never been introduced.”
He gave you a bit of a shy smile.
“Arion Dernald,” he said with a tip of his head.
“Wait here,” you told him, as you unlocked the door where the books were kept and went inside to retrieve the right one. When you’d found it, you brought it out with a pair of white gloves and led him to a private room.
You looked at the heavily engraved book, covered with reliefs of passionate lovers entwined in each other’s arms.
“Oh my,” you gasped, “what are you studying?”
He looked even more bashful and cleared his throat.
“Ah…Ancient romance spells,” he said, “I’m writing a book about how romance was seen differently in the Meridian era than it is now.”
“Oh?” you asked, as you laid the book down on some cotton cloth to protect the cover, “how so?”
“It was more…intimate, perhaps,” he said, “lovers owned each other’s hearts. They used many varieties of magical bindings to grow closer.”
“That’s what’s in this book?” you asked, looking down at it.
“Yes,” he said, “mostly…and some aphrodisiac spells.”
You weren’t sure why, but the contents of the book made you squirmy. Any kind of binding spell was illegal in the modern day. You gave him a hesitant smile.
“Well, I’ll leave you to it then,” you said, “please use the gloves so you don’t damage the pages. The oils on your fingers break down the fibers.”
You handed him a matching pair of white gloves and hustled out of the room.
Glancing up a few hours later, you saw him carrying the book to you, a few pages marked with scraps of paper.
“Could you make copies of these pages?” he asked, “then I’ll be done with it for today.”
You agreed, taking the tomb from him and heading back to the copy machine. Flipping open the pages you glanced at the first spell, reading a few lines. It was a proximity binding spell, not allowing the person to leave a certain area around them. The next one gave you pause. It was almost like the proximity spell, but much more serious. It bound two souls together in this life and the next. The two parties couldn’t be too far apart from each other for too long or they would start to waste away and eventually die.
The spell guaranteed that your souls would find each other in your next reincarnations. The idea was that lovers would rather die and be reunited in the next life than be parted. Who knew if it really worked. Ancient magic like this was spotty, mostly derived from sloppy experiments before the time of the scientific method.
Still, the concept of being tied together through death made you shudder a bit. It was a dangerous spell to make a copy of, but there was no rule against it. As a senior professor, the naga was authorized to copy any spell in the library.
You quickly made the copies and shuffled back to the naga, who was waiting patiently at the front desk.
“Here you go!” you said, cheerfully, handing him the stack.
He thanked you and slithered away. You watched his broad back as he left, unsettled for some reason.
“I don’t like him,” Levi said quietly as you checked in books at the front desk. You followed his eyes to the corner, where the naga was curled up reading again.
You drew your brows at him.
“That’s not like you, you like everybody,” you snorted, “what’d he do to you?”
He glared across the library.
“Something about him is creepy,” he said, “he’s here more than anyone else. A lot more and I looked up his browsing history on the public network. It's weird, all binding spells.”
You glanced over at him. He seemed perfectly normal to you, focused on whatever he was reading.
“I don’t know what you mean,” you said, “he’s a professor. They like to study and this is a library.”
“Just…be careful around him,” he warned, “tell me if he says anything weird to you.”
You nodded and he walked away.
You shook your head of the bizarre interaction. Levi was normally a pretty affable wolf. It was weird for him to just not like someone for no reason.
As if to test his instincts, you scooted your cart by him as you went to return books and stopped to say hello.
“How is the research coming?” you asked.
He looked up from his notes and pushed his glasses up his nose with a long finger.
“Oh, excellent,” he said, “I think I’ve made a breakthrough in the translation. What experts have thought to mean blood is actually semen. They’ve been wrong for years.”
You blushed.
“Oh,” you said.
His cheeks darkened and he cleared his throat.
“Erm…it’s a completely different reading of the text,” he mumbled on awkwardly, looking away.
You couldn’t stifle your giggle and his eyes widened on you a bit.
“What an interesting thing to study,” you laughed, “ancient cum spells.”
He smiled too and the tension lifted.
“I suppose it is,” he chuckled, “but it’s for a good reason. We can learn a lot from the Meridian era. Partners were devoted back then, willing to risk it all for the ones they loved.
"Dating today is all apps and lies. It’s so plastic. My students hook up once and then never see their partner again only to do it the next night and the next night. Never any real connection. No real investment to speak of.”
His eyes sparkled at you.
“There’s something magical about true devotion,” he said, “and I think we’ve lost that romance with our technology.”
“I guess I never thought of it that way, but you might be right,” you tilted your head, “People are always going on about not getting too attached.”
He waved his hand.
“That’s what I’m saying,” he said, “nowadays people conflate real love with red flags. Obsession, they call it.”
You weren’t sure you’d go that far.
“Well there has to be a limit, I guess,” you said.
He shook his head.
“True love knows no limits,” he declared.
You smiled at him, charmed he was so passionate about his work.
“That’s quite a topic for an academic paper,” you chuckled.
“Yes,” he said, settling down.
“My department head isn’t thrilled with my pursuits, but I think it will make a brilliant book. “The Return of Romance” I want to illustrate how beautiful Meridian era romance was and how we can apply their principles to modern times. I already have a publisher lined up and he’ll change his tune when the University is mentioned in the press release.”
“That sounds wonderful,” you said.
He beamed at your praise revealing his fangs and you felt something brush your ankle. Looking down you realized the tip of his tail had wrapped itself around you. Your heart fluttered at the contact.
“Um,” you murmured, lifting your foot.
He blushed, clearing his throat.
“S-sorry, it just does that sometimes,” he stammered, unwinding it.
“I-it’s okay,” you stuttered back, “I-I should get back to work.”
After that day you started seeing Arion more frequently, only not only at the library. He seemed to turn up random places where you were. You would see him at a coffee shop on a Saturday or at the grocery store after work. He made the excuse that he lived nearby so you brushed it off without thinking. It was kind of nice to have a handsome neighbor to bump into that always had a smile for you. You had no complaints.
He even started bringing you little presents at work. It started with a cup of coffee. He apologized that he didn’t know how you took it, but made you tell him for next time. Then it was a book, a small picture book of Meridian era artwork. Some of it was quite pornographic. You should have seen that as a red flag, but he was an academic. You figured he didn’t have the same hang ups as you. This was all research to him.
It came to a head when he brought you a bracelet. It was tucked in black velvet and looked very old. It was a gold bangle with some strange script carved into it.
“What’s that?” Levi asked, peeking over your shoulder to Arion’s dismay at the open box he was handing you.
“It’s a gift for (Y/N),” he said, “none of your business.”
Levi frowned.
“I don’t think it’s appropriate for you to be giving my employees gifts, (Y/N) is on the clock and you are also an employee of this university.”
You waved your hands trying to diffuse the situation.
“It’s nothing Levi,” you said, “just a friendly gift.”
“Jewelry is not a friendly gift,” he snapped, “I’m going to have to ask you to stay out of the library if you continue to harass my staff.”
You weren’t used to him being this protective.
“Levi!” you exclaimed, “you can’t ban him over this. It’s harmless!”
“(Y/N), I think there are some boxes for you to unpack in the basement,” he snarled, ordering you away and ending the conversation.
You gave Arion an apologetic look and shuffled to the stairs.
Levi apologized later, saying he just didn’t like guys who harassed women at work where they couldn’t escape and he didn’t feel comfortable with him taking an interest in you. He explained that it was his job to protect his staff from those sorts of things.
He even went as far as giving you a pamphlet on harassment in the workplace and told you he was reporting the interaction in the morning so there would be a record. You thanked him for taking it seriously and assured him it was just a casual friendship but he left for the night still determined to report it.
Oddly, he didn’t come in to work the next day. He didn’t call or text and when you called him it went straight to voicemail. When he didn’t come in the day after that you went to HR wondering if you should call the police. When you finally were given permission to call them they just took your information and told you they would look into it, but that was all you could do.
__
“You look anxious, (Y/N),” Arion said, as he slithered up to the front counter, “what’s wrong?”
You shook your head, frowning.
“Levi’s been missing for days. I just can’t help but be worried about him. This isn’t like him. What if something bad has happened?”
Arion narrowed his eyes for a second before giving you an encouraging smile.
“I’m sure he’ll turn up,” he said, then pulled the box from before out of his jacket pocket, “I have something that will take your mind off of that.”
He showed you the same bracelet as before. You fingered the pretty piece of jewelry, running your finger over the gold before picking it up.
“Go ahead,” he said, “try it on.”
You snapped the bracelet on and it conformed to your wrist making you jump.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he assured you, “there’s a bit of magic in it…to... make it your size.”
“Oh,” you said, relieved. You looked at the script written on it.
“What does it say?” you asked.
“Sweet nothings,” he said, smiling, “just Meridian era poetry. There isn’t really a good translation of it in our language. Maybe something close to ‘the strings of endless devotion bind us’, but not quite.”
You nodded slowly.
“Do you like it?” he asked, hopefully.
“It’s lovely,” you said, “thank you for thinking of me.”
You were a little shocked, it was such a nice gift. You didn’t realize Arion thought so highly of you.
“I think about you a lot, (Y/N),” he admitted, then blushed as if he hadn’t meant to say that.
You smiled shyly.
“I don’t mind if you think about me,” you shared, your heart skipping a beat.
“Really?” he asked, his eyes widening.
You giggled.
“Sure, think about me all you want.”
If only you knew how frequently that was, you might not have said those words.
A customer cleared her throat, tapping her foot impatiently and Arion winked at you, giving you a little wave before he slithered back to his corner.
Things went smoothly for the next few days, though Levi still hadn’t turned up. You knew how to manage the library on your own, so not much changed during the workday except you had to go to HR to get your timesheet approved instead of Levi.
Arion brought you cups of coffee the way you liked it and pastries every day, his eyes always lingering on the bracelet on your wrist. You hadn’t taken it off. You’d tried the first night, when you showered, but the hinge was stuck and you didn’t want to break it trying to get it off yourself. You’d given up, figuring you’d take it to the jeweler over the weekend to have it fixed. It was such a nice gift you didn't mind wearing it and it appeared to be solid gold so the water wouldn’t change the color.
“Good morning (Y/N),” Arion said, slithering up to you as he usually did, “what are you so busy with?”
You were elbow deep in books, trying to get through the backlog.
“I have to finish all these before my vacation,” you said, “the temp won’t know how to check them in right and it will be a nightmare to sort out when I get back.”
“The temp?” he asked, his voice dropping and growing perhaps a bit more growly, “you’re going somewhere?”
You smiled up at him, completely oblivious.
“Oh yeah!” you beamed, “I’ve been saving up my PTO to take a trip to the ocean. I haven’t seen it in years. I’m catching a plane Monday morning. I’ll be back in a week.”
You noticed Arion seemed genuinely disturbed.
“Is everything okay?” you asked.
“Erm…yes,” he mumbled, catching himself, “just thinking about a problem with my research.”
He gave you a little wave before slithering over to his corner, his brow drawn. For the rest of the day he seemed to be frantically working something out, not looking at his books but instead his laptop and phone. You were too busy to go question him and it really wasn’t any of your business, so you just went back to checking in books and brushed it off.
That night, however, on your walk home, you had the distinct feeling someone was watching you. You’d hurried into your apartment and locked the deadbolt, pushing it a few times to make sure it was tight. Closing the curtains, you let your magic light the stove and fill the kettle, setting it to boil.
Hearth magic wasn’t usually taken very seriously though it really made your life easier. If anyone asked you, which they didn’t, it should be taught in college. Instead there was just a special interest club. It was considered a lesser magic, so easy and insignificant that there wasn’t much research done on it.
You started some soup on the other eye of the stove and were beginning to relax when you heard a thunk that made you jump. It sounded like something heavy had fallen in your bedroom.
You didn’t have any pets or roommates so there was no reason for anything to make any sound at all. Your mind immediately went to robbers. Gulping, you grabbed a baseball bat you kept by the front door and crept towards the bedroom.
“H-hello…” you murmured, nudging the door open with your foot.
The curtains were closed and the room was pitch black. You slid your fingers up the wall to find the lightswitch but something stayed your hand, making you jump a foot in the air.
“AHHHH!” you screamed, jerking your hand back.
Two large hands emerged from the darkness and clamped down on your shoulders, drawing you deeper into the inky room. You swung blindly with the bat, but whatever was there jerked it easily out of your hand.
You struggled as it pulled you under its arm, whispering strange words at you. Your body went limp and gradually the room began to fade. The last thing you saw was Arion’s face illuminated by the slice of light spilling in from the hallway.
You woke with something tight wrapping around your waist. You shifted, your eyes still closed, and found you couldn’t move. You blinked, taking in the dim room around you and the naga sitting next to you reading in the lamplight. His coils were wrapped around you, pinning your arms to your sides. He wasn’t squeezing very tight, but you had no hope of fighting the thick, solid muscle of his tail.
“Arion?” you murmured, your head a little fuzzy, “what…where am I?”
He gave you his soft smile, folding his book and laying it on the side table. The smile you had grown to like, so much.
“You’re safe here.”
For some reason him saying that you were safe made you feel the exact opposite. You started struggling, even though there was no hope of you breaking free. Arion cocked his head at you, sliding his glasses off of his nose and tapping them on his chin.
“You’ll only tire yourself out like that,” he told you and squeezed you just tight enough to make his point without hurting you, “and I’ve been waiting so long for you to wake up. It would be a pity.”
Your heart pounded in your chest, your mind muddled and not entirely sure what was going on.
“Why am I here?”
He slid his glasses back up his nose and leaned in to you, frowning.
“I didn’t want to do it this way…but you made me,” he said, “you can’t get away from me.”
“Away from you?” you murmured, “what are you...y-you mean…my vacation?”
Realization bloomed in your mind as it sharpened.
“You did this because of my vacation?”
He narrowed his eyes at you.
“You did this,” he clarified, “why would you ever want to leave me? If you wanted to go to the ocean, you should have asked.”
“Asked?”
He was speaking as if you were a couple or something.
“Arion, I’m confused and you’re scaring me,” you said, “can you please release me so that we can talk?”
He squeezed you tighter.
“No,” he said petulantly, “I’ve spent enough time without you in my coils. I’m not letting you go now. I wanted to take things slower, but you’ve made me accelerate my plans. It’s as if you wanted this all along.”
You swallowed thickly, trying to slow your racing thoughts. The shy, quiet professor you’d come to favor was a complete nut job!
“My touch is not such a burden to you?” he almost pleaded, sliding you closer to him.
You grimaced and tried to pull away.
“Don’t touch me! You’re insane!” you screeched.
He growled.
“You don’t mean that,” he assured himself, “you’re just a little frightened, but everything is going to be okay, darling. Your beloved is going to make everything all right for you.”
“B-beloved?” you sputtered, unsure why your mind was hanging on that word.
His reptilian eyes looked at you, his pupils blown out and a little wild.
“I know you love me, (Y/N). You told me I could think of you as often as I like and I find that is all the time,” he said smiling, “we don’t have to hide it anymore. I’ve taken away any obstacle that could get in our way. You belong to me now.”
You whimpered. This was truly a nightmare.
“You don’t have to do this, Arion,” you whispered, “we can do this the right way. You can take me on a real date! We’ll have a nice time. You don’t have to do this!”
You were lying to his face. If he believed you and let you go, you were going to run straight to the police, but you would say anything. He gave you his gentle smile again, his eyes more lucid.
“Don’t worry, we’ll go on lots of dates as soon as I know you aren’t going to try to run from me,” he said, “I know you don’t really mean it, but I still have to be sure. I’d hate for you to hurt yourself running away from your destiny.”
He brushed his hands through your hair.
“You’ve been taught devotion like this is wrong, brainwashed, really,” he clucked, his long fingers carding the strands, “but I’m going to teach you true love, love stronger than life itself.”
“W-what do you mean by that?” you whimpered, a cold stone dropping in the pit of your stomach.
He jerked your wrist from where it was pinched between his body and yours, holding up the bracelet.
“I’ve bound you to me,” he said with pride, twisting the metal, warm from your body heat, in his fingers, “the spell I’ve been researching worked! The binder has fused to you, it'll never come off.
"Now we can be together for this life and the next. We can’t ever be parted. We’ll die and meet again in the next life if we spend more than a day apart. ”
He chuckled.
“To think all it took was a little bit of semen, that was what the spell has been missing for thousands of years. It’s the breakthrough of my life, honestly!”
He nuzzled your trembling body as the realization of what he was saying sunk in. The spell. The one you’d copied for him!
“You can’t do this, Arion,” you hissed, “it’s illegal! It’s…It’s slavery!”
“No, no, my love,” he said, “that’s what they want you to think. They want to control your mind. What we have is so, so special. No laws can bind us.”
Desperation had become anger and now anger was turning to despair. You sank into his coils, resigning yourself to your future. You were no magician. You had no power to fight this. You could make pots and pans dance, but that was about it. You were so far out of your depth. Tears plummeted down your cheeks in hot streaks.
“That’s alright, darling,” he said, rubbing your back and pressing your head into his neck, “get it all out. You’ll feel better after a good cry and then we’ll have a snack.”
You breathed in his disgustingly delicious scent and hated that on some level it comforted you.

"Hey, Lix, when you're doing fucking around, do you think you could haul ass The Meridian and heal me? If it's not too much of a bother to do your job." You groan as you take more damage. You turn and try to take out the other team's tanks as fast as you can, but you're being flanked by two of their damages. You'd take out their damages too, only you have no idea where they are.
"How did you get all the way on the other side of the map?" He panics.
"I thought you were following me since you're supposed to be pocketing me."
"You fucking ran off without telling me. Do you want me to read your mind?"
"That'd be great." You laugh, "Just get over here. And be careful. The other team's tanks and damages are still around." You keep an eye on your health bar as you keep your back against the wall, not allowing yourself to get ambushed again.
"Did anyone ever tell you that you suck at damage? I just healed you not that long ago."
"Did you not hear me screaming that I was getting ambushed?"
"You're always screaming. I've learned to tune you out."
"Chat, did you hear me screaming for help?" You quickly look over to the monitor where you're stream is. "See? Chat heard me. You're just a shit support."
"Maybe you should be support next game." He mutters.
"Why? Because I'm a girl?" You tease.
"No! Are you trying to get me canceled?"
"Aw, Lixie, you don't need my help with that. Just keep talking and you'll get yourself canceled in no time."
"I hate you,"
"That's not what you were saying earlier. Chat, Felix proposed to me earlier because I sent him food."
"Y/n, shut up!"
Your eyes shift over to the monitor on your left that's displaying Felix's stream. His face is noticeably redder than it was before. His dyed blond hair is in a messy ponytail. His freckles perfectly scattered across his cheekbone and nose. You remember how he used to cover his freckles with makeup when he first started streaming. You don't remember when he stopped, but you're glad he did. It may be hypocritical coming from you, you don't even stream with your camera on. Even if you did, you can't use makeup to fix what's wrong with your face like he can. People aren't going to find you cute or hot because of the scars on your face. For that, you're kind of envious of Felix. What he considers to be flaws are actually blessings while for you, your flaws are just that. Felix gets praised for showing his bare face while you'd be crucified for showing yours in general.
"Y/n!"
Your eyes shift back to the game, just in time to see the bright red "Defeat" pop up on the screen.
"They walked right to you. Are you fucking blind?" You watch as Felix puts his head in his hands.
"Yeah, in one eye, actually. Chat, Felix is an ableist."
"Don't you start. Chat, Y/n is being manipulative."
You laugh, reading all the comments from your chat shipping you and Felix. It used to give you anxiety, all the comments. You'd stay up late at night, stressing about them. You used to think that it was impossible for Felix to have any sort of feelings for you. He's never even seen you. Any time you've ever chatted on call, your camera stayed off. And even if he did, you knew that one look at you and any romantic feeling he had would just, dissipate.
"Pharmercy again?" Felix asks after taking a sip of the coffee you ordered him earlier.
It's more chocolate milk than it is coffee. You know how much he hates the bitter taste so you ordered one loaded with chocolate so he would drink it. It's still healthier than the energy drinks he's been drinking since yesterday.
"Yeah, but only one more match. I'm starting to get tired."
"Imagine being tired."
"You only have an hour left of the marathon."
"Stay up with me? Please? It's only an hour." You turn to Felix's stream just in time to catch him sticking his lower lip out.
"Hm, yeah okay. But you're going to owe me." You sigh, leaning back into your chair.
"I can live with that." You don't have to look at his screen to know that he's smirking right now. You can already tell that the two of you are going to be trending later.
***
The two of you successfully play through 2 rounds with your team. Felix working well as your support while you two sit on the front line. It's the calmest you've been all day. Inuyasha, your service dog, has been hovering around you all day. A few times, he's had to paw at you to warn you of an oncoming attack. But now, despite your yelling, he's calmly resting by your bed.
"Shit," you hear Felix mutter under his breath.
"What?" You ask, looking at his screen. Nothing is going on that should warrant that reaction from him.
"I have to go to the bathroom," Felix says sheepishly.
"Then go,"
"We're in the middle of a match!"
"Love your priorities, Lix."
"I'm trying to think whose home. Oh!" You quickly take out an enemy as you you watch Felix fiddle with his phone.
"What?" You hear an unfamiliar voice whine.
"I need a favor. A really big favor. And quick."
"Aren't you in your room? I thought I heard you screaming."
"I am, just come here quick. I need you to take over for me for 10--20 minutes tops."
"Your stream? No way!"
"Han, I am begging you. I will give you anything you want. Just, please. I'm in the middle of a match and I can't forfeit."
"How much?"
"Name your price later. Just get your ass to my room,"
"Okay, okay,"
A few minutes later you hear Felix's door open. Too focused on the game, you don't look at his screen to see who. You try not to take too much damage while Felix is distracted.
"Hey, you didn't tell me you were playing a game. I'm out,"
"Han, it'll be easy. Y/n will talk you through it. Just--please? I really have to go to the bathroom." Felix pleads.
"Fine,"
"Oh thank god! Chat, Y/n, this is my roommate, Han. He's going to take over for me while I...drop the kids off at the pool." Felix says quickly before he runs off the screen.
"That's disgusting." His roommate mutters.
"Literally could have just said he had to use the bathroom." You whine.
You glance over to Felix's stream to find a brown-haired man you've never seen before in Felix's spot. His features are soft and warm. His eyes are wide, almost as big as his cheeks, as he stares at the screen.
"Hello everyone, I'm Felix's roommate, Han. I'm a musician, not a gamer so bear with me." He says calmly.
"Lix is barely a gamer so your skill level should be about equal." You joke, trying to calm yourself down. If Inuyasha was awake, you know he'd be pawing at your leg to tell you to calm down.
"Fuck that scared me," Han says quietly as his eyes scan the screen.
"Sorry. I'm Y/n, I'm one of Lix's friends." You explain.
"Ah, okay. Nice to meet you Y/n. Please take good care of me."
Buy me a coffee?
