Actually—how did Sanemi’s mom become a demon?

From what we know, only Muzan and other upper moons have the ability to turn people, so … who did it and more curiously what even was the end goal?

I don’t think it was Muzan or Kokushibo because it doesn’t really track for them. Akaza obviously wouldn’t. I don’t think Hantengu, Gyutaro, Daki, or that Fish Guy would’ve because again, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for them to. There’s nothing they need or can exploit out of a widow and mother to seven.

So all that leaves is Douma. Which absolutely does track. He’s a cult leader who preys on people in vulnerable positions, he has no qualms attacking anyone regardless of gender — it makes sense that he would’ve seen Mrs. Shinazugawa and went “Ah, yes. Another potential follower—“ But why turn her at all? Why not just bring her in like he did Inosuke’s mom?

I’m not sure why. You may probably come up with a hundred perfectly reasonable reasons why. But what I’m more interested in (and what probably is going to come from left field) is this: What if Genya inherited his ability to consume and temporarily turn into a demon from his mom?

So to say — we don’t know how long Mrs. Shinazugawa was a demon before Sanemi found her and followed her back home. If she ran into Douma, Douma decided to turn her (for whatever reason) without knowing it will only be temporary, and Sanemi finds her in that state … what if she would’ve turned back human after awhile? Sanemi didn’t have a nichirin sword … any damage done wouldn’t be enough to successfully go against a demon … so what’s happening here?

While Mitsuri was ranting about food or cats, your eyes would dart between her fern green eyes and her b a d o n k e r s I know you would you little perverts

Yea there were definitely a ton lot of ranting about random things.

After having a nice long relaxing soak in the hot spring, you and Mitsuri would have a nice meal.

Genya

The poor boy would be painted red all over and be frozen in place as soon as you showed up.

You would be talking to him, asking how his day was, or whether he ate dinner already. But he would be too flustered to even open his mouth and talk to you.

You being intimate with him obviously did not help.

Tracing the scars that decorated his body is a must.

Throughout the whole time you both were soaking, the only thing anyone could hear was you happily ranting about random stuff, like what you wanted to eat for dinner.

After soaking, you would help Genya clean up. Because, well, the whole time Genya is too flustered to do anything.

Since he doesn’t usually go eat with everybody else during dinner, you would eat with him in his room.

You like seeing his soft side don’t you :)

Nezuko-chan

Nezuko is a fun and happy little girl, so I for sure know you both would be playing around in the hot spring

The both of you would splash water at each other, chase each other around the hot spring etc.

You would be playing with Nezuko like an elder sibling

Speaking of siblings, bring big brother Tanjiro too next time, Nezuko would be overjoyed to soak with her favourite two people in the world

can we talk about the foreshadowing of genyas fate and how terribly sad it is?? im watching s3 for the first time and although im also a manga reader seeing this for the second time made me realize the foreshadowing he has

major spoilers ig cause not everyone read the manga but im talking precisely about the moment when hes chasing the upper fourth and is almost killed. his thoughts are about sanemi, how they never got to talk, how he never has a chance to say that hes sorry for what he said that one day, how he understands so much more now than when he was a kid, how all he wanted was to be his brother. how dearly he loved sanemi and how the kind smile nemi had was always in the back of his mind. genya knows exactly what he wants to do before he dies, genya knows exactly what is his priority and what hes thinking about being on the verge of death. and thats what actually happens. it was craved into his mind so deeply that when he actually is deathly wounded, when hes dying he takes the chance and says it all. and he cant even hear the feedback, he cant hear sanemi's begs and cries and even then he still wants his big brother to know that hes not mad, that he understands
