Film: HELL BENT FOR LEATHER (d. George Sherman, 1960, USA)

Observations: Here's my final Doc Films movie for the quarter, also the final film in the George Sherman series. Though in many ways a standard western, this takes an especially dark turn into noir territory (good-guy Audie Murphy must disprove his involvement in a brutal murder). Maybe 25 in attendance. Screened on film but regrettably in a pan-and-scan print rather than the original 'Scope.
