Yahweh Rains Bread from Heaven
1 Then they set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the sons of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departure from the land of Egypt. 2 And the whole congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. 3 And the sons of Israel said to them, “Would that we had died by the hand of Yahweh in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, when we ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to put this whole assembly to death with hunger.”
4 Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test them, whether or not they will walk in My law. 5 Now it will be on the sixth day, they shall prepare what they bring in, and it will be twice as much as they gather daily.” 6 So Moses and Aaron said to all the sons of Israel, “At evening you will know that Yahweh has brought you out of the land of Egypt; 7 and in the morning you will see the glory of Yahweh, for He hears your grumblings against Yahweh; and what are we, that you grumble against us?”
Yahweh Gives Meat and Bread
8 And Moses said, “This will happen when Yahweh gives you meat to eat in the evening and bread to the full in the morning; for Yahweh hears your grumblings which you grumble against Him. And what are we? Your grumblings are not against us but against Yahweh.”
9 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Say to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, ‘Come near before Yahweh, for He has heard your grumblings.’” 10 Now it happened as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, that they turned toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of Yahweh appeared in the cloud. 11 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 12 “I have heard the grumblings of the sons of Israel; speak to them, saying, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread, so that you shall know that I am Yahweh your God.’”
13 So it happened at evening that the quails came up and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp. 14 Then the layer of dew evaporated, and behold, on the surface of the wilderness there was a fine flake-like thing, fine as the frost on the ground. 15 And the sons of Israel saw it and said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “It is the bread which Yahweh has given you to eat. 16 This is what Yahweh has commanded, ‘Gather of it every man as much as he should eat; you shall take an omer apiece according to the number of persons each of you has in his tent.’”
31 And the house of Israel named it manna, and it was like coriander seed, white, and its taste was like wafers with honey. 32 Then Moses said, “This is what Yahweh has commanded, ‘Let an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread that I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.’” — Exodus 16:1-16, and 31-32 | Legacy Standard Bible (LSB) Legacy Standard Bible Copyright ©2021 by The Lockman Foundation. Today’s article, “Faith In God Can Eliminate Our Fears And Anxieties!” serves to remind us of God's providence, provision, and protection. How can God's Word increase our faith? What is the connection between fellowship and eliminating worries or anxieties? Is God reliable to all of us in every circumstance? My prayer is that this post clarifies some of these kinds of questions, and hopefully blesses you with peace, strength, practical wisdom, and faith for your journey as a believer! #God #JesusChrist #HolySpirit #Bible #Christianity #faith #fear #anxiety #providence #provision #protection #fellowship #peace #Hebrews #1Corinthians #Isaiah #1Peter #Daniel https://www.instagram.com/p/CqG07jkPB9W/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Crisis and Care (1 Kings 19:1-8)
We live in a broken world, full of crises and traumas.
Prophet Elijah by Mykhailo Boychuk, 1913 Now Ahab told Jezebel everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them.” Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he…

God's Help to Israel
17 The poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue fails for thirst; I, the LORD, will answer them, I, the God of Yisra'el, will not forsake them. 18 I will open rivers on the bare heights, and springs in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. 19 I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the shittim, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, the pine, and the box tree together: 20 that they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD has done this, and the Holy One of Yisra'el has created it. — Isaiah 41:17-20 | Hebrew Names Version (HNV) The Hebrew Names Version Bible is in the public domain. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
DC Stamps:
“To hope in the Lord is to trust Him fully with our lives; it involves looking to him as our source of help and grace in time of need. Those who hope in the Lord are promised;
1) God‘s strength to revive them in the midst of exhaustion and weakness, of suffering and trial;
2) the ability to rise above their difficulties like an eagle that soars into the sky, and
3) the ability to run spiritually without tiring and to walk steadily forward without fainting at God’s delays.
God promises that if his people will patiently trust him, he will provide whatever is needed to sustain them constantly.

God is so good.
This morning I started panicking about the money situation. I ca. pay rent but there is no money for gas or food or anything else. Next week I can pay my car payment and my insurance but again no money for anything else.
I was anxious and nearly started crying. Instead I prayed as I have been praying for provision.
In the car I kept praying and God gave me these reminders.
Be still and know I am God.
Nothing is impossible with God.
See the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first and all these things will be added to you. Do not worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself.
Praise God. I love how He loves me.
