Jekyll and Hyde would work so well as an adapted comedy
Like Hyde just always has a hat on that he tilts over his face so the audience don’t see it and maybe he bumps into things cuz he can’t see
Jekyll, Lanyon or Utterson reminisce on their past and talk about how wonderful it was and there’s just a cutaway to them all sat silently in a room doing almost nothing
All the parts of the story not told by Utterson are told in cartoonish flashback fashion with Enfield looking super suspicious when he first sees Hyde while he narrates about him and completely glosses over his own suspicion .
They go into Hydes house and Utterson’s lil narration is about how it’s well furnished and in good taste as it pans to a room that is just absolutely ransacked

Uncommon Charm by Emily Bergslien & Kat Weaver
A delightful tale of magic and mystery, in turns haunting and hilarious, from @eudaemaniacal and @anoteinpink, and published by @neonhemlock
I knew I had to read “Uncommon Charm” the moment I saw it. For one, it’s a set in the 1920s, a fantastic era; two, there is a Jewish character; three, it was a gothic comedy that promised ghosts; and four, the cover art is by one of my all time favorite artists. I didn’t initially expect the magic to be, like, real magic, I’d assumed that “magician” meant stage magician, but I was pleasantly…
