I’m looking for people to interview for my game design graduation project.
I'm making a small game to educate and inspire people about Food Forests. The start-up game company eVRgreen Studio is my client for this, so it's gonna be all about nature and gamification for a sustainable society.
The game will be aimed at Millennials and Gen X with vegetable gardens big and small. If you’re in that age group and you’ve got a garden, let’s talk! If you know people who match that description, send them my way!
The project is still in its baby shoes, but that's the best time to talk to the people who are gonna play the game later on. Your input helps me decide on how we're gonna present the game, what the gameplay should look like, and what kind of art style I should go for.
I’m working on a form rn as well, but I definitely want to actually talk to some people. If you're interested, just drop into my dms.
A young man attempts to call his mother using a payphone, but accidentally reaches a mysterious person named Irbis. This fateful mistake prevents Irbis rom jumping off a building. Our young protagonist then decides to set on a journey to call every single number in their region, differing by a digit from his mother’s, in order to find Irbis and make sure they are okay. Little does he know this goal turns him into a human helpline, solving neighborhood problems and gathering friends along the way.
"Irbis" is a series of graphic novels I am working on for my graduation project this year. Coming out in Summer 2024, a demo of the first chapters will be presented at the Minerva Art Academy Graduation show 15th -19th of June!
Help a final year student become master of communications!
Hello American friends! I have an important call that I'd like to make to you. Have you read the New York Times (frequently or infrequently), or are you roughly informed when it comes to the Times' writing tone, news topics, brand image etc?
Could you then be so kind to help enhance the quality of my graduation research by filling out a survey for me? You can submit your answers anonymously, the survey does not track IP-address or e-mail!
My thesis object in a nutshell: I objectively investigate the news coverage of Holocaust denial in cross-cultural perspective. I compare the Times to their Dutch journalist counterpart, the Volkskrant. I dissect i.e. writing tone, topic choice, text length, andsoforth. I have concluded some findings from text analyses that I'd like to hear your ideas about :) Filling out takes approx. 6-9 minutes! Data will be stored for 3 months and then deleted. All data is intended for/will be processed for Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands.
The survey can be safely accessed here (Google Forms): https://forms.gle/AeHiuRRFkMBrKDbx9
For my graduation project I am doing a Wicca adult coloring book, in which I would like to have one spell per. page in a way that you color in all the ingredients for that certain spell.
Now I need help because the sites I have previously used years ago to find these kind of spells have dissapeared and all I get are ads in google search....
So do you practise wicca or other witchcraft and would like to share your spells to help me out?
Do you know a site with variety of different spells that I could use for this project?
All help is appreciated and it would help if you can reblog this so that the right people might see this!!! 💜💜💜
I have graduated and this project is already done. Feel free to ask me anything about it! I am Czech, said project and presentation is also in Czech. I use this site because it makes it easy to keep all the information in one place. I have also used YouTube videos which I may link at one point here also (they are linked in the work itself). English is also the easiest language to get information in and I have no trouble reading or writing english myself. I am a demiboy/genderfaun/nonbinary/trans, I have a lot of other lables.
About the project:
A childrens show about diversity and specificaly minorities not seen in media. It specifies on false limbs, neopronouns and gender queerness, Islamic faith, autism, blindness spectrum and colorblind.
It is made to be colorblind friendly for all the kids to enjoy. Characters have different body types and skin colors as well as color pallets and personalitites. It might be made into a book later on when my life gets less busy.
The project is made to show how important representation of diversity can be for children and how it can be used as a learning tool as well as help children see themselves in characters on TV. I myself am nonbinary so this is a very personal project for me to create.
Future of this project is in the air but I do hope to write a childrens book since I love the characters and some of the ideas I have created for them.
Hi everyone. I've been given the green light to graduate soon from ArtEZ, University of the Arts under the Comic Design program. Over the span of the past half year after some mandatory research, I made a 24-page short story, SOLACE – Beneath the Boundless Sky – . It's inked traditionally and edited further digitally but ultimately meant for print.
"An overworked detective named Anjou is put on vacation in the aftermath of a traumatic mass murder case.
While she struggles with her bottled up feelings, she encounters her friend and confidant Lizi, but Anjou is unable to speak about it. Her situation turns ugly once she recalls the first sight of her experience. Unable to cope, she wanders around aimlessly, away from home.
SOLACE – Beneath the Boundless Sky – takes a look at the human side of a detective."
I was torn between uploading the shoddily-translated French version I had made for my submission for a competition hosted by @prixbdraymondleblanc or the original English version.
I'm working on an annual print product for FactorDaily which will showcase the work done, and inform their diverse reader group as to the threads 6 of their projects have followed through time.
This will cover the content, information design, graphic design, publication and printing!!! Everything that I currently love and want to explore deeply for my graduation project.
In a world with the borders of a chessboard, playing figures are reborn every day and forced into constant battle. Will a simple pawn be able to break out of the cycle and live freely, or is never-ending suffering safer than the uncertainty of change?
"A Long Way Forward" is an animation I am working on for my graduation project this year. Coming out in May 2024 and will be presented at the Minerva Art Academy Graduation show 15th -19th of June!
