In Chris Bidmead’s (excellent) novelization of his own (fucking excellent) Frontios, the Gravis does not actually speak, and is instead accompanied by a horrid translation machine made of a corpse (like all their machinery) that finally gives up the ghost when the Gravis pulls the TARDIS interior back together, splattering the thing across the gleaming white walls.
Part 4 of doing specific Eye Color references! For NRG Mode, I didn’t feel like doing the effects, so I just put the base colors that I tend to use for them instead! Any names that happen to be listed are an example of a person who would have those specific eyes as well~
Will group all of the references into one post once I finish them, but for now, the sheets for Mind, Form, Gravity, and Water are below!
Again, anything I would have wanted to put here was already brought up in other posts, but as always, if you’ve got questions, hit me with ‘em!
pew pew! our seesaw PC joystick board works peachy-keen 🕹️💻✅👍💡🔥
We picked up a Gravis Advanced (https://www.mocagh.org/loadpage.php?getgame=gravis-front) PC analog joystick to verify our design for an adapter board is all peachy-keen. after some confusion about the way buttons work - turns out you DON'T want the knobs on the side centered because that disconnects the switches from the DE-15 - we have some success! since the X and Y positions are changed by the joystick moving the wiper on two pots (https://allpinouts.org/pinouts/connectors/input_device/joystick-pc-gameport/) and not by a voltage divider, we have to do a tiny bit of math to figure out the actual resistance. so far this board works very nicely and will let some of those old joysticks live again in modern projects. here we have a QT Py reading the values, and it would be trivial to convert this to a USB HID keyboard, mouse or joystick interface.
