Musharna mail! It's a dream that's not yours, though it is familiar. It's bright, it's so bright that it hurts, the only thing you can see is a white void, there's no definition to it that can be made out. No up or down, no right or left, only a white void. Your body feels numb, you can't feel your blood or the heat in your cheeks. It's not that it's cold, you can't feel cold either, it's the absence of warmth, and the absence of cold.

When you stepped forward, the entirety of your body was weightless, the cloak on your back, the clothes on your body, the body itself was devoid of weight. If one hadn't known any better, it'd feel like floating. Null.

That'd probably be the best description of this place. It's not that gravity was dead, or the sensations in his body decayed, instead the world was null, it never had concepts of gravity or sensation to begin with. Which makes the next thing...Weird, out of place. A little red string of- well it definitely was of something, it lacked definition like the rest of this place, so maybe 'red line' would have described it better.

The string tied tightly to your index finger, enough that the surrounding skin turned white from pressure. Ahead of him, the string cleaved a path through the void, disappearing over the horizon. Naturally, you follow it, even if it's foolish to do so, there's nothing new here besides that string. Maybe it's important, maybe it's not, but it is something, and that something will be important to you no matter how insignificant. It never seemed to end, that string, twisting and beguiling into strange patterns on the surface. How something so enchanting to follow, could get so tiresome was beyond you, though it'd be foolish to stop now. After some time, more time than it was worth remembering, it led to a black blemish of ink in the world. The lake was pure black, the thing separating it from a hole in reality and a lake, was the sound -you hadn't even noticed the world had been completely devoid of sound until now- of water it made. Ink lapped at the shores of the lake, the way it swayed rhythmically, up and down, the lake looked like a beating heart of some animal. Maybe animal was putting it nicely, that ink was unnatural, but certainly organic. The string led to that thing, but you've come so far, it'd be foolish not to follow it now. And so you did, down and down into the shore of the lake, following the red string, stopping before the ink could reach your boots. The red string seemed to want to goad you further, further into the depths of the ink. Even you weren't that idiotic though, the lake wasn't outwardly dangerous sure, but it was an unknown, sure, it didn't emit an intent to kill like a froslass, but most things that could, didn't. Still, that opened up a question, what was inside this lake? The journey couldn't- shouldn't have been made useless because of one menial obstacle. You peered over the ink's edge, trying to gauge what might be inside the lake, of course it was nothing, an endless abyss into nothing. That was a little ridiculous though, wasn't it? The red string must be there. It didn't take long to find the tail of the string, and something else floating nearby the string. That 'thing' was blue, whispy strands of it fighting against the gelatinous like substance to move. Straining your eyes to see it only made the image foggier, patience was a virtue wasn't it? Should be only a matter of time before that breathing thing expels what's inside of it. That thing is visible now, breathing peacefully, his eyes are close, sleeping soundly while immersed in the ink. You, the unwanted Observer on this dream, know this face, after all you can recognize yourself in a mirror. There's another body just below his, being pushed up by the tide, it's useless to try and identify her from up here, and trying to investigate this lake further may be more trouble than what it's worth, judging by whose inside. So you sit down on the bank, staring off into the void, the sound of the lake breathing the only thing filling your ears, you may try to slip off the red string and free the connection, but it's quickly proven pointless, so now all there is to do, is wait, maybe this dream will eventually end if you wait long enough. . . . You wake up!

The bellowing of a foghorn had roused Paris from his fitful sleep. He shielded his ears from the distant yet all-too-loud reminder as he sat up, staring down at the unfamiliar blanket. He wasn't unfamiliar with odd dreams... but there was a difference between those and whatever this was. There was a visceral wrongness to it that sent chills up his spine.... so he decided to stop thinking about it for the time being. He needed to get his belongings in order for the disembarkation anyways.

He moved to get up, his hand immediately shooting up to his side as he hissed in pain. Thanks, Lotus, he nearly grumbled out loud as he lifted his shirt to examine the injury.

Two sizable but not severe cuts, and bruises that hadn't started to fade yet. He wasn't surprised, taking a full force U-Turn was bound to hurt...

He pulled his shirt down before he could glance over at the frostbite scars. A reminder of him, of the white void, of the-

No, no. He paced briskly around the small room, gathering up his belongings. Phone. Charger. Clothes, Bag, Pokeballs, Headphones. He didn't need to think about that stupid dream anyways. He'd forget it in a few more minutes anyways...

The image of his own sleeping face surrounded by a dark mass flashed into his mind again. There wasn't any use avoiding it... None of it had been ordinary in the slightest. He could almost picture the sensation of the inky black lake on his skin, breathing steadily against him... Eugh. He shuddered, shaking his hands to get the feeling to go away as he did a last sweep of the room.

Crowded hallways, the slight rocking of the waves, other people and Trainers chatting loudly, excited to be visiting Kanto.

Unlike him, weaving through the groups of people while keeping his eyes trained to the ground, high enough up to make sure he didn't run into anyone, low enough to avoid any eye contact.

As Paris walked down the gangway, keeping his limbs pressed tightly against himself to avoid brushing up against anyone else, the dream started once again to creep into his mind.

He recalled the white void, split by a single thread. The chill that was yet wasn't present... And the scent of pine needles, the faint earthy hint of forest snow, and ice... but that one didn't even have a particular smell associated with it, simply just the vibes of one, so to speak.

...One that was all too familiar. That had faded from the clothes he was currently wearing long ago.

He gently pressed a hand against his torso, trying to alleviate the dull ache coming from the scarred remains of his frostbite.

. . .

That damned string. He just couldn't make any sense of it...

After the first few minutes of the dream, you find yourself in a metal drop pod with a semiautorifle at your side labeled "the liberator" and the sounds of video playing just outside, you can make out noises and phrases from the video to a degree, something about bugs, 710 collection, Democracy...and Super Earth. Then before you can even blink, you're hurtling at over 400 miles per hour towards the planet's surface.

You stare, glancing about the interior of the pod, eyes wide. Someone's talking nearby, but you can't really make out any details. Bugs, numbers, politics...

...wait, Super Earth? What does-

It's about that point that gravity takes you into it's bonecrushing hug and starts shaking.

Mercifully, you wake up after only several minutes of this.

You're on a pier, obviously by the coast on a proper concrete slab of a dock. You're looking out over the ocean, stretching out forever, and suddenly, you feel very, very small.

You're about to walk back, head away from the edge, but as you turn away, gravity shifts, everything turning on its side. You fall directly into the ocean, and everything goes grey.

You can't breathe as the waves crash over you, again and again, turning you every way. You can't tell which way is up or down or left or right or even if there's a surface anymore. Your breath is running out.

It's freezing cold, and you're all alone. You still can't breathe, and your vision is going black. You open your mouth to scream, but it just fills with more water.

Your vision goes black, and you wake up, gasping for air to fill your lungs.

...Just let me sleep already, this is the second time I've tried to take a little cat nap today and dealt with this- How annoying...

It's not even the ocean that scares me, I literally go to a school in the middle of the ocean-

How do you think a Dark! dex holder would kill others? by Dark!, I mean brain washed. I was wondering about a murder mystery where one of the dexholders or all of them plans to kill the others. Example, Dark!Diamond; bakes everyone cake, but poisons it. Dark!Platinum could sic her body guards on people. Etc. Rules; Has to based of canon. Platinum can use body guards, but Red can't. Needs to murder ALL others. They can use pokemon. So can you make a list of ways dexholders could kill dexholders?

Well, not all Dex Holders have the means of really doing such a thing. So...

Red: Frontal assault? How else would he do it?Blue: Given her tech skills, she might sabotage some equipment to explode when someone else uses it. Good old explosive pens.Yellow: If she got stronger with her telekinetic skills maybe. Right now, all she can do is just move around a Pokeball attached to a string. If she got MUCH stronger with it, she could just Force-choke someone like Sabrina would.Gold: "Accident". Maybe he'd billiard-shoot a rock or something into the chain that holds a chandelier up and... gravity does the rest.Silver: Light goes off, the victim suddenly feels a fibre wire around their throat.Crystal: Parasect is a monstrous creature, really. By "Parasect", I mean the mushroom. It happens in real life when a mushroom spore enters the body of an insect. So during winter, it remains as an insect, but when the weather gets warmer, the spores grow inside the insect, kills it, and sprouts. And if you find it and cut it with a knife, you'll see that the insect's guts aren't there anymore and are replaced by mushroom substance. The Korean term is 冬蟲夏草. Winter (冬) insect (蟲) summer (夏) plant (草). So a Parasect, being the insect that got assimilated by a mushroom, can surely do the same to other victims using its spores? ... Onwards with the Nuzlocke! Sootopolis Gym, then Victory Road!

The current team:

So, looking ahead, Oli should be able to take it now (Wallace’s Milotic is the same level as her, 46). Might encounter problems with Whiscash, I still don’t have any Grass moves, best bet at this point would be to send Snowdrop in and have her Crunch away.

Onwards! Gonna clear out the trainers, THEN tackle the puzzle!

Beauty Tiffany leads with a Golduck, level 41, then a Wailord, level 41. How does it even fit in the gym... Oli takes out both.

Beauty Bridget has a Gorebyss, level 43. Discharge handles it! (And gets Oli to level 47.)

Next up, Beauty Connie has a Huntail, level 43. They match!

Beauty Olivia has a Starmie, level 43, and right beside her, Lady Brianna leads with Clamperl, level 41, then Corsola, level 41 too. Discharge OHKOs the first two, but Corsola uses Endure and survives it. It gets healed up, next one OHKOs and gets Oli to level 48!

Okay I think that’s all the trainers - oh no, Lass Andrea near the stairs. Ludicolo, level 42. Fake Out, you pest. Discharge gets it to the yellows, it Rain Dances, and another Discharge finishes it off.

Okay, NOW to nip back to the Centre to restore PP, haha. (Discharge only has 15 PP, I went through a lot.)

Puzzle time! ...Yeah I sucked at that haha. Walkthrough time XD;; Oh this one has trainers, okay. Poke Fan Marissa has Azumarill, level 43. Discharge OHKOs it. Lass Crissy leads with Lucdisc, level 39, then Seadra, level 41. Couple of Discharges makes short work of them.

And ready to face Wallace! THE FUCKIN’ POSING... WALLACE IS DEFINITELY NOT WEARING UNDERWEAR...

Anyway. Leads with Luvdisc, level 44. Discharge OHKO! Next is Whiscash, level 44. Let’s get Snowdrop in! Crunch gets it down to half, it uses Earthquake, another Crunch finishes it. Good job, Snowdrop! Huh, Milotic already. Back to Oli! Discharge down to half, OOF that Hydro Pump did a lot of damage. Gonna heal up, no doubt Wallace will do the same. Nope, another Hydro Pump. Next Discharge takes it out! (And Oli hits level 49.) Next is Sealeo, it gets in an Aurora Beam while I heal Oli up, thankfully doesn’t do too much damage, Discharge OHKOs it. Last up, Seaking, and Discharge OHKO!

Gyms COMPLETE!

Alright! Now we can go back to Littleroot and get the National Dex.

And I need more Quick Balls. Back to Fallarbor! Off to Lilycove, got to delete Sequoia’s Dive in favour of Waterfall. PRETTY sure I don’t need Dive in Victory Road... And then to... let’s say Mossdeep, that’ll be a good point.

Ayyy new Pokemon. My route 127 get is Alomomola! Male, level 30. I shall name you Buddleja.

Nothing for route 128, on to Evergrande. NYOOM. AND IN TO VICTORY ROAD.

First trainer - Ace Trainer Albert. He leads with - Sigilyph! I love those :D Level 45, so actually the same as Edel, my lowest-levelled. Let’s go with Oli. It uses Gravity, we’re good. Let’s use... Volt Switch. A bit into the reds, that’s okay, I’ll now bring out Snowdrop to finish it! Air Slash does a bit of damage, but a Crunch finishes it off. Next is Rhyperior, level 45, that’s Sequoia’s! She’s only a level above, much closer. Waterfall down to low yellows. Oh shit Stone Edge - she survived!! A second Waterfall finishes it!

First encounter - Sableye. Dupes clause!

You know what, before I get too far in, I’m gonna go stock up on healing items XD;; And uh. And repels, once I get my catch.

Oh there we go. It’s a Loudred. Hmm... yeah, okay. Onion’s new big sister is called Leek. ...Just go with it XD

Next trainer! Ace Trainer Hope has a single Froslass, level 47. Edel’s already out, but still only level 45... still gets in a good Steel Wing! Confuse Ray, augh. Yeah okay I hate confusion damage RIP Daisy I’m gonna get Chickweed to finish it XD Captivate, then Confuse Ray, ugh. DAMMIT CHICKWEED. Snowdrop? Shadow Ball does very little, CONFUSE RAY AGAIN, but gets out a Crunch and it’s down!

Man, Victory Road is hardcore.

Expert Bryn leads with Hitmontop, level 45. It uses Agility, then Feint - which misses because Edel was about to DESTROY it with Fly :’) Next is Throh, level 45. It uses Endure, Edel flies, uses Bulk Up, ANOTHER ENDURE, Steel Wing does some damage, and then another to finish it.

Back up we go, to face Ace Trainer Edgar. He has a single Mawile, level 47. This one is Chickweed’s! It uses Stockpile, Chickie uses a Mega-boosted Blaze Kick! RIP Mawile!

Street Thug Regan has a Houndoom, level 43. Time for Sequoia! Next is Shiftry, level 43. All Chickie’s!

Hooboy, an Ace Trainer double. Ace Duo Jude and Rory have Armaldo, level 47, and Cradily, ditto. I think this calls for a Surf! Edel takes a little damage but is otherwise fine. Take a couple of hits, Steel Wing works very nicely. Another Surf, another Steel Wing, the Cradily is down and the Armaldo almost is. Sequoia’s Ice Fang finishes it off!

Next up, Expert Theodore. He has a Sawk, level 47. Edel flies! NYOOM. It keeps using Bulk Up - whoops, and now an Endure while Edel flies up again. Never mind it’s down ;D

FLAMETHROWER TM. You know what, I’m gonna give this to Oli! Not doing much catching any more, Thunder Wave can go!

Ohh, here’s the other Winstrate! Ace Trainer Vito leads with Electrode, level 44. Let’s get Sage in to Earth Power it into submission. It Light Screens, got it down to yellow. ...And then it explodes, of course. WIMP. Next is Darmanitan, Sage actually can take this but I want to save PP, so let’s go for Sequoia! It uses Taunt, and Sequoia destroys it with Waterfall. Bye! Last up, Swalot, level 44. Back to Sage! Extrasensory OHKO!

Dragon Tamer Egon has a Kingdra, level 47. Oof, challenging, I don’t have any Dragon moves, and my only Fairy move is on a Ground type. PRAYER CIRCLE FOR SAGE. It uses Focus Energy, Dazzling Gleam gets it down to reds, it uses Agility then Dragon Pulse, Sage tanks it even though it’s a crit! Next Dazzling Gleam takes it down! Nice.

Brain and Brawn pair, let’s put Sequoia in second, she has Crunch for the Psychic-type. Aden and Finn send out Primeape and Musharna, both level 47. Primeape uses Swagger, oof. Sequoia crunches the Musharna down to yellows, Edel manages to Fly despite the confusion, good birb! Primeape uses Rage and it does fuck all. Musharna takes another Crunch, and Fly takes out the Primeape. Psybeam on Sequoia doesn’t do much, and her Crunch finishes it off!

Oh hey, never knew that X-Scissor was there. Nice. Edel can learn it, gonna replace Assurance!

TIME FOR WALLY. He leads with Altaria - gonna put Snowdrop in! ...This room is so gorgeous. THE MUSIC CHANGE. THE BACKGROUND. BEAUTIFUL. I’ll give it my all, Wally! Leads with Altaria, level 46. Ice Fang from Snowdrop OHKOs it! Next is Roselia, level 46. Chickie OHKOs it with Flame Charge. Magneton, level 46, another Flame Charge takes it down to 1HP, it uses Tri Attack, which does negligible damage, another Flame Charge finishes it. Next is Delcatty, we’re still with Chickie, Double Kick OHKO this time. Last is his ace, level 48 Mega Gallade. Gonna go to Edel for this. It uses Swords Dance then Psycho Cut, and then Fly OHKOs it.

...I feel so bad.
