Hello! Welcome to the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Papa Louie!!

My name is Miles (@sunsetcorvid ) and I am here to offer a tournament of the best Papa Louie character!!!

There are 204 characters in my google doc. A majority of which have flipdeck cards. This post may update before the tournament date with more characters without flipdeck cards. I will randomize pairs and put them against one another. All characters range from each Papa Louie game, and I mean each one.

Only one will remain.

There will not be a bracket, as there are many characters and it stresses me out trying to make something as big as that. So, it will be a surprise on which ones are paired up.

Theory time. 🧐🧵

Kelly is sneaky as hell and unhinged. Karen was the loudmouth, but Kelly is absolutely more sinister. She was the quieter one so easily overlooked in comparison to Karen. Overlooking Kelly is a dangerous mistake.

Karen had a life. Kelly comes off as “just there.” She probably had a lot of time to herself whenever Karen was out with her friends and boyfriend. During that time, I think she did some digging into their family history.

I think the twins’ mom is Angela’s sister. Making Angela their aunt. We know Angela’s mom had some type of mental issues. That can be hereditary.

I mention hereditary, because it’s been clear from jump that Mrs. Beasley is a bit off. So, Kelly’s “research” into her family history led her to Angela and that led her to A. She probably found A in some type of Radley Sanitarium.

Angela was obsessed with reading the Scarlet Letter. I think she had a child. I think Davie and the others judged her over it. Well, Davie judged. They followed her lead. They were all friends at some point.

That’s why Davie screamed when she saw Angela was going to jump. She screamed the loudest. It’s also why Davie was so determined to be there for her daughter now that she’s a pregnant teen.

So, I think A is Angela’s child. I think she was forced to give him up at some point and it fucked with her mentally. It’s probably why Sidney said there were things they couldn’t help her with.

Are you guys keeping up? Angela is Mrs. Beasley’s sister. Angela is the twins’ aunt. A is Angela’s child. A is the twins’ cousin. Kelly found A in a nut house…my money is on Radley Sanitarium.

Kelly built a bond with her crazy cousin, A. Kelly feels like she can relate to her cousin. They’ve both been discarded. They’ve both been robbed of the life they think they deserved.

Kelly comes off as extremely protective of her sister, but she’s really extremely JEALOUS of Karen. Kelly knew Imogen didn’t kiss Greg. She planted that seed in Karen’s head on purpose.

Karen was genuinely shocked at the girls accusing her of setting them up, because she really didn’t do any of it. Kelly did…with the help of her cousin.

In detention, Noa says Karen probably got her sister to swap her pee. That’s a huge hint at how everyone views the dynamic of Karen and Kelly. EVERYONE thinks Karen is the mastermind to everything and Kelly is the puppet.

Well, everyone has it twisted. Kelly has always been the mentally stronger twin. She’s been showing us throughout each of the first three episodes. She’s a manipulative, evil little cunt. She gets a kick out of seeing Karen hurt.

Kelly lied to Karen about Imogen. Kelly was in the office when she saw Noa do her drug test and she heard them talk about her drug test schedule. Kelly heard Karen bitching about ballet.

Kelly was there when she heard Imogen say she would be running against Karen. Kelly orchestrated every single thing that happened to Karen and made it look like it was the girls coming after her. 6 birds, 1 stone.

I’m also pretty sure Kelly had Karen give that flyer to Davie. Bottom line, Kelly and her cousin are A. At some point we’ll learn Mrs. Beasley’s maiden name is Waters and she’s the older sister of Angela.

PLL Original Sin - Shadiest Men

Chip - HBO Trying so hard for us to believe he assaulted Tabby. Though I'm 80% sure he's a red herring. Admittingly had that "I'm a sad nice boy" speech. But darn it, I want to like him. I want Imogen to be happy. I don't want Tabby's BFF to be evil.

Shawn - Rising on my list. Possibly Tabby's assaulter & "A". Noa tells him about taking the fall for her mother and then suddenly "A" knows and the Masked Man is chasing her? Now he's fine with possible doping? Has always been friends with Greg & Tyler? Immediately fought the Rosewood boys?

Greg - Still don't like him. I still have plenty of questions about the night of Karen's party. Also, he's had several little comments that have me turning my head. So, he's staying at #3 until I learn more.

Wes - Trash human being. Tomato. Tomato. Truly embodies stay away from her, get a job energy. Don't like how much time the Masked Man clearly spend at the movies.

Henry - Went behind Faran's back to Madame Giry about her back pain (the 2nd PLLOS boyfriend to go behind their GF back). Also, might have attacked Kelly. Maybe.

Crazy Joe - Entrepreneur extreme. I don't think he's being 100% honest, but I don't know, I like that he calls himself crazy Joe.

Ash - I don't like how he somehow manages to ask a question with every single one of Mouse's childhood triggers like he already knows them. Also, taking Mouse into the maze of mirrors? *Sigh* but you are still the most legit of all of them. Everyone below you is simply below you either because they are irrelevant or because they are so shady that it negates how shady they are.

Sheriff Beasley - You could accuse this man of anything and I'd believe it without just cause. He's shady, but we all know that.

Steve - 100% out of line, creeper extreme, but he seems to have used up his usefulness in terms of plot. Has a serial killer smile.

Tyler - Is dead. But before that? He sucked. Still could have assaulted Imogen.

Eddie Lamb - Once a Radley worker... honestly sir, why do you have this sign in sheet with you at your house? HIPAA.

Chapter Six: Scars

We pick up with Tabitha talking about what happened over the summer. She was at work with Chip when Greg asked Tabby if she wanted to come to a bonfire. Chip covered for her and initially Tabby was having fun, at first. She got dizzy from drinking and decided she should go home. She doesn't know who could've done something so horrible and wrong to her.

Imogen tells Tabby that she's sorry that that happened to her and discovers she's the first person that Tabby told. Imogen reveals that she doesn't know who it was either (the baby daddy) and that she remembers even less than Tabby does.

They hold each other and Imogen asks Tabby if she'll go with her to meet her possible Angela source.

MondAy

Faran finds out from Kelly that the teacher was going to throw her out of the show after what was said on Halloween.

Mouse is going on a date!

1999

Corey (Faran's mom) is the next mom to receive a gift from A. Back in '99, she lied to Angela and told her that the girls were going to get a tattoo of their initials. After Angela is done, she sees that Corey had left.

Back to the present, Faran reveals to Henry (?) her scoliosis.

Tabby and Imogen meet with Jo - "Crazy Jo" and discover that he was in love with her. He tells them that the group of girls adopted her and turned her into a "high town bitch". Angela's only family was her mother who snapped after her death. She came to the school with a knife and tried to injure a group of boys. She was stopped and sent to the Radley Sanitarium in Rosewood. Sound familiar? So, the girls decide to make a trip to Rosewood to find Rose Waters. However, in the OG PLL, Radley got turned into a hotel.

Mouse tries to break things off with Steve and Noa has to tell Shawn (her boring boyfriend) to back off with her mom.

TuesdAy

Imogen tells the rest of girls about Rosewood but no one can go except for Tabby.

Noa tells her mom that she can have her job back as long as she goes to rehab for 30 days. After a quick sentimental talk, her mom agrees.

In ballet, Faran dances for a recruiter with her mom in the back. Kelly tries to sabotage Faran by revealing her scoliosis, but the recruiter is only further impressed.

The girls make it to Radley (which doesn't look the same :() and are told that they can speak to Eddy Lamb who won't be in until tomorrow. So, Imogen and Tabby decide to stay at Radley until then.

Noa's stupid boyfriend shows up to Noa's house to talk to her mom. He tells her that Noa told him about the drug addiction and how Noa gave up a spot on the team. He tells her to stop dragging her down and leaves.

Faran has dinner with her parents (her dad looks familiar...) and discusses the performance. Her mom proposes that Faran get surgery to get the scar removed from her back. Her father is against it and Faran says she's willing to check it out.

Tabby decides to explore Rosewood while Imogen enjoys a night in.

Mouse is on her bowling date with Ash! It's hella cute until Steve ruins it. She sends Ash to a nacho run and confronts Steve who introduces himself as Mouse's dad. She feigns sickness and asks to be taken home. Mouse was pretending to be Steve's daughter because Rachel was taken from him.

TABBY FINDS A BOOKSTORE AND IT'S CALLED EZRA'S BOOKS. She meets a cute guy and makes out in his car...which the latter is her worst-case scenario and declines to go out with him. He says it's no problem and leaves.

Kelly gets attacked after receiving a text from A. The text asks if she's Kelly or Karen and she screams that she's Kelly.

Faran decides not to have surgery because it's multiple surgeries that will take a long time and be painful. She questions if she even wants it. She tells her mom that how her mom talks to her makes her feel horrible. She doesn't understand why her mom is obsessed with appearances. They have a mini argument and Faran tells her she doesn't care what she thinks anymore.

Imogen and Tabby have breakfast with Eddy and discover that their mothers came to visit Angela's mother under the name A. Waters. Rose was at Radley until it shut down. They find out that Angela was taken advantage of before she jumped off on Y2K night.

From A, Faran finds out that she never needed the surgery for her scoliosis. The doctor advised against it but her mother wanted to go through with it.

Looking through the sign-in book from Radley, Tabby noticed that there's a sixth different A. Waters signature. That obviously means that there's someone else who went to see Rose Waters. They talk about how they feel for Angela and what happened to her before she fell. Imogen talks about the night at Karen's party. That's the night her own trauma happened and that's the night she got pregnant.

The girls make it back in time for Faran's performance where Steve is and Faran has to leave. Her mother was in an accident.

Time has been called on the event and the final coffins unearthed after tedious hours of onlookers waiting with bated breath. There is no prize this time around for staying underground the longest, but bragging rights have always been valid currency in Rosewood anyway.

Ten contestants were ultimately eliminated. In no particular order AGNES COHEN, AMELIE BECKER, JORGE BENITEZ, STORM HARRIS, MELROSE VINCENT, POLO MORETTI, EGAN UPPAL, RADLEY WALSH, SOPHIA PRESMONT, and JAMIE GEARY had the shortest times on their respective stopwatches when they rang their bells.

Unburied with the help of her friends an unsettling amount of time after the final person before her, HAVEN CURRIERE lasted the longest underground-- found unresponsive, she was rushed to the hospital. JAMIE GEARY chose her time to piggyback on as his prize for being the judge’s choice at the jump, so he too recorded the longest time despite being pulled out of the ground much earlier in the evening. He will be advancing to the next round after all.

It appears some bell tampering had taken place during the night, a number of contestants’ strings discreetly cut or bells disappearing entirely. Easy enough to happen, they were working by moonlight on an overcast night and the time keepers had been left with nothing to do for hours. Makes sense that they might become distracted while mingling to pass the time. Either someone was out to help BEVERLY LEÓN, JAVIER CASTILLO, MALCOLM HOLLAND, GREG LACHANCE, and NADINE DAHL or perhaps they were trying to keep them below ground for good.

I always thought the idea of a future au for the kiddos was interesting. Tried to do one myself but it turned depressing. Anyway id love to see a full body of future radlynn and how you adapt her current outfit into something more... adult in the lab way - amii

I also had a future AU actually! With Yippy becoming a firefighter like Ember and Nick being a kayaking coach.. I don't remember Greg's job though and Iggy ends up as a scientist too ofc.

And I'm def keeping Radlynn in her skirt and blouse but getting rid of the Radley sweater altogether... i think she'd still sometimes wear the knitted hat though. It's important for her!

It was definitely bc of lack of space, and for the roommate thing I only have Johnny and Yippy, Chuck and Taylor, Sue and Mary (don't separate the lesbeans), Cooper and Greg, Prudence and Trishna, and Mitch, Maggie and Wally (Mitch and Maggie didn't want to let Wally alone) as roommates
