The Hotel Dubois
There’s an illusion surrounding the giant hotel to make it look old and derelict, untouched by anyone for nearly a century, but there’s also a lot of mundane history behind it ( the story being that Albert Dubois, the owner was murdered by his wife Amelia and she took ownership of the hotel and made it flourish until her crime had been revealed and it fell into disrepair ), so it’s respected and also heritage listed. But while it looks completely deserted, it’s one of the busiest places in the city. It is the gathering place for all witches in different covens where everything is communal.
The hotel does function as a hotel to an extent ( for select people ), but there are a few little things to take note of:
There’s a library, filled to the brim with potentially centuries worth of various grimoires with all sorts of sources ( the good, the bad and the ugly ) and is used as such, complete with magical imbued library cards to keep track of everything.
The kitchen is huge and while still used as a kitchen on occasion has been converted into something of a potions laboratory.
The bedrooms are used for as they’re intended for, but they’re also private spaces for spells / rituals.
The dining room also doubles as a meeting place where the council gathers for trials ( on the rare occasions in which they can be gathered and encouraged to put their brains together ) and originally where there was a stage for a band to perform has been replaced with tables and chairs for them to sit, the seat in the middle acting as something of a throne where the Grand ( or leader of any given coven ) sits.
There’s a penthouse apartment where the current Grand lives featuring a large office space for them to do their normal mundane work of applicable to the individual.
All security throughout the entire building is magical, wards and the like used to keep the derelict illusion up and to keep eyes on who and what is in the hotel.
A school, Madame Pierre’s Academy for Gifted Children is magically attached to the hotel, but can’t be physically seen from the outside of the building.

New Beginnings ~ Wiztober Day 1
Edited by @spiralcompendium
“So.” The single, stern word broke a heavy silence that had been present since their private airship left the port in Hamamitsu. “How was your first year at the Imperial City Dragon Academy?” Alia flinched. They had been hoping and praying that this question would never come but knew it was inevitable. ‘Why did it have to be this soon though?’ they cried internally, cursing themself for not already having a full speech prepared for this. “Well?” their mother snipped impatiently, interrupting Alia’s thought process. Under pressure to deliver positive results, they opened their mouth to reply and a flood of words poured out.
“Dragon Academy? Oh, it was great!!! The Imperial City is such a cool place, and I loved seeing the inside of the Imperial Palace - did you know it contains 75 bedrooms?! 75!!! Also -”
“Alia,” came the first interruption.
“Also it turns out I have a natural talent for gardening! See I joined the gardening club and I was the only first year in the history of the school to actually raise a maelstrom snap dragon to elder! A Maelstrom! Snap! Dragon! That’s senior level stuff!!! Oh oh also -”
“Alia…” their mother interrupted again, this time with slightly more insistence.
“- alsoalsoalso it turns out I’m real good at alchemy, too! So much so that a potions vendor in the city took me as an apprentice! My first job, and something I love too! Can you believe it?!?!? Also also oh oh also also also -”
“ALIA!” The third interruption came as a full on yell. They gasped, taken aback by the intensity. “You know exactly what I mean. I don’t care about your extracurricular activities, your clubs, or how many bedrooms the palace has. Your grades. Let me see them.”
“Well, I got one A, uhhhh...” Alia trailed off, panicking. Their off-the-cuff plan hadn’t turned out quite how they hoped. As they desperately tried to brainstorm ways to stall for more time though, their mother, growing ever more impatient, demanded yet again, “Show me your grades. Now.”
Defeated, a crestfallen Alia opened up their bag, pulled out an official looking envelope, and handed it off without a word. The seconds felt like hours as their mother peeled off the wax seal, opened the top flap, and pulled out the parchment inside. Her face morphed from concentration, to confusion, to rage. She opened her mouth as if to yell, but at the last second changed her mind. Putting the sheet back into the envelope, she simply said, “We will discuss this with your father when we get home.” Not a single word was uttered for the rest of the flight.
Some hours later, the two arrived at their home in Kembaalung. Their father initially greeted them with a smile and open arms, but their mother quickly trotted over to him and they began talking in hushed tones. After a moment their father turned with a grim face and said, “Alia. Go to your room. We will call you when we are ready to talk.”
“Talk. Great. They want to Talk.” Alia laid on their bed, speaking their thoughts aloud, thankful for the magical soundproofing their parents tended to use during their private conversations. Looking over at the bookshelf on the opposite wall, they contemplated how things ever got to this point. The shelf was full of thick tomes on dragon magic: grimoires they could remember being forced to read and memorize for hours at a time, beginning as soon as they learned to read. They had every word of every thick volume on that shelf memorized, but not a single line made any sense. This collection of facts served them well enough to pass the entrance exam though, and they held out hope that maybe actual teaching would be the missing link; maybe seeing these incomprehensible concepts in action would be all it took to help them finally understand this strange breed of magic. Unfortunately as the school year wore on, they only found themself falling farther and farther behind, and though they aced every written test, they never managed to cast a single spell.
“I really just am a failure aren’t I,” they muttered, burying their face in a pillow. Their mind began to race with all sorts of possibilities. “I’m going to get lectured, I’m gonna be confined to the indoors for the whole season reading these awful books again and again, I’m gonna be kicked out, they’re never going to want to talk to me again, I’m a disappointment to the whole family…” Their thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a loud knock. Jolted out of their downward spiral, Alia slowly crawled out of bed and opened the door. Their parents, stiff and stern as ever, marched in as Alia sat back down on their bed. The silence was thick with tension when their father opened his mouth to speak.
“We are… disappointed in you, Alia. You failed every class.” The lecture began in a smooth yet stern tone, but Alia wasn’t fooled. The escalation was imminent. “I just… I just can’t believe you failed every class!” A thick lump began to form in their throat as his speech heated up. “You studied those books every day! You had everything memorized and aced the entrance exam! All of our hopes were riding ON YOU, ALIA!” As the lecture finally escalated to full on yelling, they felt tears begin to well up but tried their best to force them down as the lecture continued. “Have you forgotten that we are the oldest clan of warrior monks in all of Mooshu??? And now thanks to THIS-” he held up the parchment, displaying all seven failing marks, and the single passing grade “- OUR TRADITION IS OVER!! OVER!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH YOU HAVE FAILED US??? WHERE DID WE GO WRONG!?!?!?!”
Alia stood up and burst into tears. “I don’t know what more you want from me okay??? I read your stupid books, I memorized your stupid facts, I did everything you wanted me to do, but you never even cared about what I WANT!” Her father prepared to yell in response, but before he could Alia shouted again, “I never wanted to be a STUPID FUCKING WARRIOR MONK ANYWAY! I HATE YOU!!! I HATE YOU!!!!!” With that, they stormed out of the house, leaving a deafening silence behind.
Dusk began to fall as Alia sat on a bench next to a frozen lake. Though it was the middle of summer, Kembaalung was always cold and snowy, and this night was no exception. They huddled in a blanket and began to sob uncontrollably. How had their life come to this? Through the frozen tears their mind began to wander into dark places again. “Where will I spend the night? Nobody here will take me in, they’re all monks… I don’t even have any friends… Does anyone even really care? I could just sit here on the bench and freeze…”
Their thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a splash of green in their peripheral vision. They turned to look and, despite the freezing temperatures, a single young plant had sprouted out of the snow. Alia got up, walked over to it, then kneeled down, cupping their hands around the base. “You understand what it’s like, don’t you?” they muttered. With a pang of empathy, they cupped their hands closer and started softly singing. The snow around the plant began to melt as a single sunbeam materialized, piercing the night seemingly from nowhere. Alia sang louder and closed their eyes, truly becoming engulfed in their song, letting the melody flow through their entire body. As if channeling power from old Bartleby himself, the sprout grew, slowly at first but then quite rapidly. When the song came to an end, Alia, feeling calm and peaceful for the first time all day, opened their eyes. Before them was a now tall, proud sunflower towering in defiance over the whole cold landscape. They stared in awe for a short time, but were again snapped out of it upon hearing footsteps in the snow from behind.
“So it seems you do have a knack for gardening then.” The sharp voice instantly brought Alia back to reality. They turned their head and saw their mother standing there, arms folded. “I’ve come to collect you. Now, come.” Alia began to protest but realized that they didn’t have much choice. They grudgingly began following her back to the family home.
The next morning, Alia trudged downstairs, awaiting the fallout of yesterday’s scene. As expected, both parents were seated and silently gestured for Alia to join them. As they sat down, their father began speaking. “Your mother told me of everything that happened at the lake last night. You channeled the Song of Creation, didn’t you?” Alia gasped, but before they could speak, their father continued. “We have decided you will enroll in Ravenwood, effective immediately. You are free to choose your own path from there.” Alia’s face lightened up for a moment as her father continued. “But there will be conditions. You may no longer associate yourself with our family. You no longer share our last name, you no longer share our lineage. You will be welcome here for short visits until you come of age, at which point you will be expected to find your own way. Do you accept this arrangement?”
Alia sat, dumbstruck at what had just laid out before them. Leaving their home forever was a terrifying proposition, but after only a single minute of thought, they confidently said, “Yes. I accept.”
For the first time in their life, Alia saw shock on their parent’s faces. It was soon wiped off and replaced by the typical stony looks, but it was unmistakable. “V-very well,” their father stammered as the shock wore off. “We depart immediately. Your first day is tomorrow.”
------ One Week Later ------
Alia sat alone at a table in one of the many Wizard City student dining facilities, again deep in thought. “Was it even worth coming here?” they asked themself. “Classes are fine I guess, but I haven’t met any friends here, I don’t know anyone who lives here at all, my parents will probably never want to see me again… Oh, what have I gotten myself into this time… Maybe they’ll take me back if I ask -”
“Mind if I sit here?”
The voice snapped them out of their spiral of thoughts as a girl who looked to be about the same age as them sat down. “First week’s rough, huh? I struggled to adjust at first too, but don’t worry, it’s gonna be great! Heyyyy, now that I think of it, I’ve seen you in some of my classes, haven’t I? You’re Alia, right?”
“Yeah, that’s me,” Alia responded somewhat hesitantly, holding out their hand to shake.
“My name’s Keira,” she said as she ignored the hand and went in for a full hug. “And I can already tell we’re gonna be best friends!”

English Translation of Novel 1: Chapter 3 – Your Dream Will Come True (Part 2 of 2)
Here’s the second half of Yami’s and Magna’s teaching adventure! As a recap, third period is about to begin for these students, and Yami just told them he’ll do a Q&A session with them. However, the students will have to land an attack on him if they want him to answer their questions.
Also, the Diamond Kingdom spy gets revealed. Did you guess their identity correctly?
--- Your Dream Will Come True (Part 2) ---
Elude and the other students certainly had a bad feeling about the lesson Yami devised, but they didn’t think they’d have to lay their lives on the line for a Q&A session.
“Ah, when I say finishing blow, I just mean hitting us with an attack strong enough to make our asses hit the ground.”
“No, that’s not the problem here! W-what’s up with those rules!? That’s no Q&A session I’m familiar with!”
Elude couldn’t help but protest. ‘There’s way too much fighting involved in his lessons!’ he thought. He went out of his way to warn Allison, but it looks like it doesn’t matter whether somebody provokes Yami or not.
“Quit complainin’. Information’s not usually somethin’ you get for free.”
‘That’s why we’re paying money to go to this academy…….’ they all thought. It didn’t seem like this terrible teacher’s rampage would end anytime soon. Elude had to choose his words carefully.
“…… Um, even though this school is in the Common Realm, we’re on the very border between the Common and Forsaken Realms, you know? There’s not a single person here aiming to become a Magic Knight. That’s why, even if you teach us as thoroughly as you’re doing now, none of us are going to be able to use any of that. I think you would be wasting your time by doing this, Yami-sensei.”
Just as he finished talking, he prodded two of his followers with his elbows, and the two continued where Elude left off.
“T-that’s right. Maybe you’d find students willing to fight you at a school closer to the Royal Capital, but at a school like this……?”
“P-plus, we used up all our physical and magical stamina in the last lesson…… we can hardly move anymore.”
After hearing out their opinions, Magna created a fireball in the palm of his hand.
“Alright, I’ve heard your questions!! If you want me to answer them, then come at me!”
“No no no! You have us wrong! Those weren’t questions! Those were our opinions!”
“Shut up! Stop complaining and attack already! Or do you want me to attack first, huh!?”
‘…….Are these guys……. serious!?’
They were sweating buckets as they looked at Harris-sensei for help. However……
“Ah, I’m so useless! He’s making a bloodbath of my students, and all I can do is watch!”
“You can stop him! There’s still time to stop him! Go rescue your students already!”
“Lets goooOOOOoooOOOoo!”
While Elude was going off at his teacher, Magna prepared to throw his fireballs, but……
“……Ahh, that’s enough. You can stop there.”
Yami said coldly, catching Magna’s hand.
“Huh!? Is it really okay if I stop!?”
“Yeah. After all……”
Yami looked at the students who looked like they wanted to run away, and with his usual apathy,
“Since the beginning, these guys have been making up one excuse after another. They’re the types who run away from the things they need to do.”
He said something like that.
“………...”
……Without a doubt, Yami was the one in the wrong here. Saying that they had to fight him if they wanted him to answer their questions was just an excuse to harass them, right? It was an unreasonable request, and they had the right to refuse it.
However……
“I was thinkin’ I could light their fighting instincts by riling them up a bit, but no matter what I try with these guys, it looks like that’s not happenin’. They have a point. I’m wasting my time with this lot.”
Each and every word stabbed deep into their chests. Attending a school at the border of the Common Realm was quite the social handicap. Even if they wanted to learn, there was only so much they could learn at a school with as few resources as this one. There was nothing they could do.
They were already physically and magically exhausted, so they had plenty of reason not to fight him. On top of all that, their opponent was a Magic Knight Captain. There was no way they would be able to land even a single hit. They would just get beaten up instead. There was nothing they could do.
There was nothing they could do. There was nothing they could do. There was nothing they could do.
How many times have they told themselves there was nothing they could do? And how many more times were they going to tell themselves this in their lifetime?
“Actually, I knew this the second I stepped into this classroom. None of them looked like they were aimin’ for anythin’. They all had a dead look in their eyes.”
“………!”
The problem they were trying not to look at was now swelling forth in their hearts, crushing them with all the important questions they’ve been trying to avoid.
For some reason. Yami’s careless words made them all feel that way.
“Alright, then let’s return to the classroom. The rest of the day can be study hall.”
He added for good measure before turning around and walking back toward the school building with Magna in tow.
He’s gone.
However, they found themselves unable to move. All the times they thought “there was nothing they could do” had accumulated together and was weighing down their feet. They had accumulated a dozen years’ worth of questions, but that wasn’t enough to destroy what little self-esteem they had left. And yet……
……And yet!
WHOOSH
A fireball flew over their heads as they stood immobilized by their troubles. That fireball blazed with terrifying speed toward Yami’s back, and was just about to strike him, but,
“Looks like we got one.”
He deflected it with the back of his fist, causing it to form a large crater several meters away in the ground. After he did so, the students could see a black mist-like mana covering his right hand.
“Looks like my conversation skills are awesome enough to light someone’s fighting instincts, after all.”
“I was planning on doing this from the start. I was just waiting for the perfect timing.”
That attack was amazingly powerful, but the fact he was able to deflect the attack with his bare hands was also amazing.  This is what the rest of the class thought in stunned amazement as they watched Yami and the person who launched the attack – Allison.
“This is my first question – why is your personality so warped, Yami-sensei?”
She said with a belligerent smile. When she saw that her first shot missed, she quickly entered a stance so that she could launch an attack up close.
“That wasn’t a finishing blow, but I’ll make a special exception and answer you. It’s because, naturally, a cute boy like me was spoiled by everyone around me growing up.”
Yami turned toward Magna and handed him his Magic Knight robe. He then covered his entire body with a black mist.
“Magna, keep watch so that we don’t destroy the school building with our magic. This kid’s pretty strong even without her grimoire.”
“Yessir!”
After speaking with Magna, Yami smiled ferociously at Allison. As she generated magic for her second attack, she took a deep breath, and then yelled,
“You’re not cute at all!”
“Shut up! I’m a soft and fluffy Virgo!!”
With that, a third period class where they absolutely had to land their attacks began.
“……Huh, we’re gonna fight the students directly?”
“How bad is your hearing, anyway? We can just tell them that it’s combat training.”
This conversation occurred right before the third period class from hell began. At that time, the students were all heading toward the water fountain while Yami and Magna spoke in private.
“So far, the spy hasn’t made any movements that make them stand out. It seems like they’re tryin’ to get through this day quietly.”
Yami checked one more time to confirm that nobody would hear him before continuing.
“That’s why, I think that nothin’s gonna to happen if we continue our current strategy of shaking them up and seein’ what happens. With just this strategy, we’ll be giftin’ our spy a huge chance to act.”
“……And that chance will come by……. fighting the students in a combat training exercise?”
“Yeah. There’s no better chance to watch a Magic Knight fight from up close. I think they would be more than willing to participate in the fight if it means collecting even a little bit of information.”
If they are greedy enough, they might even attack Yami and Magna with the intent to kill. Yami was pretty sure that they wouldn’t expose themselves like that, but it would be interesting…… er, rather, it would give them definitive proof of the spy’s identity if they did. At the very least, he could look forward to a different reaction than what they’ve been getting so far.
“But, if we do that, won’t everybody who attacks us look just as suspicious?”
“Oh? That was sharper than I would expect from you, Magna.”
“Heh heh, stop that! You’re making me embarrassed!”
“…….Uh, well, that wasn’t meant to be a compliment, but I’m impressed by your positive attitude.”
His positive attitude was amazing, but he wasn’t praising him.
“I’ll make that judgment when the time comes. I already have my aim on somebody, and I’ll know what their intentions are by watching their movements and breathing as we fight.”
Their gaze, their breath, the way their muscles move – all of those are signs composed through the energy emitted by all living things. Yami’s homeland called this energy “Ki”.  What that person wants to do, what their psychological state of mind is, whether they’re in good or bad condition – if he reads their Ki, he can perceive all sorts of information about them. He can’t read what they’re actually thinking, but he can read what their general intentions behind their attacks are. No matter who they are or what attack they use, he should be able to discern the identity of the spy by reading those intentions.
“That’s Yami-san for you! ……Wait, huh? Then, shouldn’t you have just read their Ki from the start……?”
“Yeah, if we did this lesson from the start, I probably would have been able to identify the spy in one go.”
“HUUH!?”
“But if we tried to make the students do that at the start, their dissatisfaction with us wouldn’t have been as large as it is right now.”
After luring them in by answering their questions, forcing them to run a marathon, and making them compete in death matches against each other, the students’ malcontent has been gradually reaching its limit. Yami could tell because of their Ki.
“Don’t you think a more interesting battle will happen if we get them riled up first, rather than if they fought us with no emotion at all?”
“……Umm, sorry, Yami-san. I think, like before, I’m a bit too stupid to follow.”
He knows they’re going to fight them, but…… like before, he’ll have to get Yami to say it in simple terms.
“So my job is to find the spy, right?”
In response to Magna’s question, Yami looked happily at the students who were returning.
“Well, while we’re at it.”
‘While we’re at it……. What?’ Magna thought.
“…….Well, whatever! You must be thinking about something super deep! But if it’s to catch the spy, then you can tell me what you’re thinking, right!?”
“No way. Your face would give my plans away.”
“No, please don’t underestimate me! By the time the spy notices my face, I’ll beat the crap outta them!”
“Don’t try to exceed my expectations please…… well, still, if you don’t move when the time comes, that would be a problem for me, so I’ll give you a hint.”
At the time, Allison had come back early and was sitting properly a few feet away as she waited.
“……The spy is a person who is not very good at hiding their emotions.”
‘…..That’s not much of a hint at all,’ Magna thought.
And thus, the “Instructor-lead combat training” Yami so hoped for began.
“You’re not soft and fluffy at all! Try saying that after you shave off all that hideous stubble from your face!”
“I’m a soft and fluffy young man with stubble! My messy lifestyle is what makes me charming, damn it!”
Allison unleashed her attacks in rapid succession, but Yami knocked them all away. As he punched all her attacks away and closed the distance between them, Allison skillfully ran from place to place, firing her magic so that she could escape his grasp. As Magna watched their rather showy battle, Magna became convinced that she was the spy. After all, she was simply oozing anger and hostility.
‘……But Yami-san looks like he doesn’t want me to move yet. Why…….?’
Yami will give him a signal the moment he wants him to use his ropes. After being with him for all these years, Magna had no doubt in what he was seeing.
‘Does he still want me to observe the situation……? Or does he want me to guard the other students……?’
He stole a glance at the other students. It didn’t look like a stray attack would hit them. They just watched the two fight it out at a safe distance. None of them made any moves that would suggest that they would enter the fray as well. However……
“……Don’t think you can get away with this……!”
…...Magna heard a small whisper.
“Don’t think you can get away with saying whatever you want!”
A lone boy, Elude, screamed.
“What do you mean we have ‘dead eyes’! Get your eyes checked, you blind bastard!”
“T-that’s right, damn it! You came in looking like you just killed a man!”
“You said you were trying to motivate us, but all your ideas are hot garbage!”
Elude’s two followers continued where he left off as they got ready to fire an attack at Yami as well.
Because of them, the other students started glancing at each other, and,
“D-don’t go deciding our futures for us!!”
“That’s right! We’re all doing our best, too!!”
One after another, they joined the battle.
“We’re not running from what we have to do! I-I’m doing my best to learn magic here so that I can get a job at the castle town and support my Mom!”
“I want to open a flower shop in the Royal Capital when I grow up, so I wanted to ask you so many questions…….  How dare you say it would be a waste of time! You’re horrible!”
Before even ten seconds had passed, the entire student body unified against Yami and started a concentrated attack against him.
‘This situation’s out of control!’
The whole spectacle was making Magna sweat. This was what Yami was aiming for, but Magna had no idea where he should be looking. He looked toward Yami, who was now the target of 22 different attacks, for guidance, but,
“Ha ha! No way. You couldn’t hurt cute little me before, and you sure as hell can’t now! If you give up now, I’ll teach you how to be as cute and fluffy as me!”
‘He’s having fun with this!’
‘…….It looks like it’s up to me to observe the situation on my own.’
“We don’t care about that! Teach us more about the Magic Knights!”
Allison managed to close the gap between her and Yami thanks to all the support her classmates were giving her. She fired an attack at close range, but,
“I refuse~ So, why are you so interested in learnin’ about the Magic Knights anyway?”
He asked as he easily countered her attack with a right hook, making the gap between them large once more. Just as she was about to step back,
“Don’t hold back! We’ll get him with one more shot!!”
Elude fired at Yami, leaving his chest defenseless for just a moment.
“………!!”
Allison boldly leapt toward Yami, and put all her mana into her right hand.
“Because I want to join the Magic Knights!!”
BANG
She launched an attack at nearly point-blank distance into his thick chest, throwing his huge body several meters back.
“Yami-san!? Are you alright!?”
“……Of course I’m not. Some of my stubble got burnt off from that attack. That was my charm point.”
Magna rushed up toward Yami with tremendous speed, but Yami stood up right away. It didn’t look like he took any damage, but the attack certainly sent him flying, and it certainly made his butt hit the ground. In other words……
The students were in a daze, until somebody whispered in shock,
“We…… did it……”
“We did it……. Ha ha, alright! We actually did it!”
“You’re amazing, Allison!!”
“You’re awesome! You’re really awesome!! You actually landed an attack on a Magic Knight Captain!!”
The others gathered around Allison as they cheered. However, Allison’s face was flushed red as she stood up.
“……D-did I j-just say I wanted to enter the M-Magic Knights?”
“Yeah! You yelled it for the whole world to hear! That explains why you’re so strong!”
Sheila said as she pat her shoulder and back, but Allison replied belligerently,
“Nope, I never said that!!”
“You really don’t want to admit it, do you! You don’t have to hide it, you know!? I think that’s really cool!”
“B……but……”
Allison glanced at Elude,
“Some people here have said……. That there’s nobody here aiming to become a Magic Knight at a school all the way out here, and that anybody who would be aiming to become one must be stupid…. So….”
“Wha……!”
Everyone glared at Elude coldly, and his two followers quickly put some distance between themselves and Elude.
“……Wait, Elude-kun? Did you really say that?”
“Wow, you’re the worst. Aren’t you embarrassed to say that?”
“You’re the ones who should be embarrassed! It’s not such a big deal, anyway!”
“……Still, I don’t think you’re wrong.”
Allison said sadly.
“This school often doesn’t have the materials required to teach me what I want to learn, and there’s a lot of things our teachers tell us that I don’t understand……. But, I don’t blame the school or the teachers…… In a place like this, if you don’t adjust your dreams to fit within your means, then you’re just going to get sick of it all……”
“………”
The smiles that were on the students’ faces disappeared. The exhilaration that everyone felt from what they just accomplished was erased by the unchanging reality that closed in on them. Realistically speaking, the number of people aiming to enter the Magic Knights after studying at a magic academy in the Common Realm was overwhelmingly small. Most people go to school with the goal of landing a job that is at least a little bit better than their parents’ or to learn tricks to make housework easier. Their goals were rooted in their everyday lives. They understood that, for people like themselves living in such a rational environment, it was pointless to aim any higher than that…….
“Still……”
It was Allison who created this atmosphere, but this time, she looked everyone in the eyes as if to erase it.
“If even people like us get serious, I think we can make even the things we thought were impossible come true…… that’s what I believe.”
Allison stared at her right palm. The heat from her magic and the sense of accomplishment she felt at that moment still remained. After reaffirming that fact, Alison turned toward Elude.
“……T-that’s why, even if you make fun of me…….. I’m going to aim for the Magic Knights.”
“……S-sure. I’m not gonna make fun of you for that….”
After that, Allison smiled shyly while Elude gave her an embarrassed grin. As the other students watched them, one by one, they, too, began to smile. Sure, this magic academy may not have the teaching materials and equipment that other schools have. However, they couldn’t let that be an excuse to give up on their dreams and settle on a different goal. They can’t help what they don’t have, but they can still work hard. Even if their environment doesn’t have what they need, they’ll search for what they can do. They’ll always have time to give up later.
“……Well, it’s a little vexing that we ended up doing what that guy wanted.”
After everyone started feeling a little more optimistic, Allison turned around away from the group. She wasn’t sure when they got there, but Yami and Magna were standing there with grins on their faces.
“But still, thank you, Yami-sensei. This is what you wanted to teach us, right?”
“……Yeah.”
While looking at the faces of each and every student, Yami said softly,
“Yeah, that is, uh……. That’s exactly it.”
‘Now’s not the time to act like you were spacing out…….!’ Elude thought, though he was sure that the others were thinking the same thing.
“More importantly, let’s go back to the classroom. As promised, let’s have a normal Q&A session.”
He said as he turned to the right, returning to the school building with Magna. Even though he sounded totally uninterested, looking at him from behind, he seemed to have a gentler atmosphere around him than before. Allison wondered if she was just imagining it.
“He’s no ordinary guy…… actually, he’s downright strange, but he acknowledged us.”
Allison commented. The other students looked at each other before, one by one, they returned to the classroom. Unlike before, they all followed behind him of their own free will and with a smile on their faces.
“Shut up. Me being spacey earlier was just a technique to make me seem cuter. You know, like when girls act coquettish to get you to fall for them.”
“With a demon-like face like that, that just makes you more terrifying.”
“HUH!? You callin’ Yami’s face demon-like! Don’t screw with me! No matter how you look at him, he has the face of a demon KING, ya hear!”
Then, Yami iron-clawed Magna. At the beginning, the students were terrified by these acts of near-murder Yami would commit in front of them, but now, they were used to it. Some were even laughing. Some were laughing nervously, though.
“Anyway, we’re not doin’ any other dangerous classes today……”
Though the atmosphere was peaceful, Yami turned around carelessly,
“So could you stop following me like you’re gonna fire an attack at me at any moment, Harris-sensei?”
Everyone quickly turned their heads to see where Yami was looking. When they did, they saw that Harris had nonchalantly slipped himself in with the group of students, but…….
“……Huh?”
They saw that his grimoire was open, in such a way that the others wouldn’t notice.
“……Actually, if you fire your magic from here, some of your adorable little students here will get caught up in your attack and die.”
“……W-what are you saying? I just thought that I mustn’t let anything happen to them while we’re out here, so I have my grimoire open so that I can fire my magic if the situation calls for it……”
“Hmmm, the battle’s over, though. So, do you really have to be that paranoid?”
Yami took one step closer, and Harris took one step back.
Sweat was dripping down Harris’s baby face.
“Or wait, do you have your grimoire open precisely because the battle is over? Were you thinking that just maybe you’d be able to finish me off while my adorable little back was exposed to you?”
“L-like I said, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Besides, it’s not like I just opened my grimoire! My grimoire has been open the whole time we’ve been out here in case something happened!”
“But right now, you’re obviously full of magic power and killing intent. Why?”
“That……..that’s because…….!”
The students had no idea what they were talking about. However, they slowly backed away from the two of them when they sensed the turbulent aura between them.
“Y’know, you’re worse at hidin’ your emotions than you think. From the moment I entered that classroom, I could feel somethin’ murderous leakin’ out from you.”
“……T-that’s enough! Just what the heck are you talking about!?”
In contrast to Harris, who was crying out as if he were in pain, Yami remained calm, but…….
“I’m talking about how you were about to attack me, and how your students would have been caught in the crossfire.”
Yami’s voice was also dreadfully cold.
“……!!”
Harris was silent, as if being pushed down by an invisible spirit. Yami sighed,
“……Anyway, I’m fine with you tryin’ to kill me, but…..”
He then sent a glance toward Magna before continuing,
“But I’m not lettin’ you get these brats caught up in your attacks, you damn spy.”
“Flame Rope Solid Binding Formation!!”
The moment Yami stopped talking, Magna shot a ball of fire at Harris.
“Tch!!”
“…H-huh!?”
However, Harris dodged the fireball and tried to grab one of the students who was in a daze over what was happening – Sheila.
“Watch out!”
“Guooh!?”
Allison shot a fire spell at Harris’s feet and used that moment to take Sheila away from him.
“Nice shot, Alli!!”
Magna was about to fire another spell at Harris while he was stopped, but……
“…….You damn brat! Stop moving around!!”
“……Tch!”
Before he could fire it, Harris escaped from Allison’s magical blaze and grabbed her by her blonde hair. He then held a knife of ice to her throat.
“You bastard! Just what do you think you’re doing!?”
“Don’t move! If you take even one step forward, I’ll slash her throat!”
To stop Magna’s barking, Harris pressed the tip of his knife against Allison’s throat. Blood oozed from the wound, making the other students go pale as they huddled together. Magna, too, grit his teeth and stopped in place.
“……Hey now, you changed your tune way too quickly. What about your cute little students?”
The only one who remained calm in this situation was Yami. When Yami said this, Harris’s face twisted into an ugly expression.
“Yeah. They are cute. They listened to all my lessons like idiots, without ever suspecting that I was a spy from an enemy nation! The fact they’re even acting as hostages for me makes me so proud of them!”
His personality completely changed.
“More importantly, how did you know it was me? Saying that I seemed hostile is rather weak reasoning on your part, you know?”
“Hmmm……. Really good gut instincts, I guess?”
“Are you kidding me!?”
“Well, also, it was your attitude as a teacher. You weren’t protectin’ your students at all.”
Harris looked at Allison’s face, which was distorted with pain, and cursed.
“If you were a teacher - actually, if you were anybody who took his position as a leader seriously - you would protect those below you from being subjected to unreasonable violence.”
“……You talk a good talk, but I don’t think somebody who uses unreasonable violence on a regular basis should be saying that.”
The snarky comment came from Allison, causing Yami to laugh.
“What the hell’s with you? You’re a hostage yet you’re tellin’ jokes like that?”
“Of course. After all, I’m aiming to enter the Magic Knights. Perhaps the situation itself doesn’t call for jokes, but being used as a hostage by someone as clumsy as Harris-sensei isn’t particularly-Eek!”
Harris pulled at her hair with all his strength, interrupting Allison’s complaints.
“Don’t get too cocky, you damn brat. There’s nothing stopping me from slicing off an ear or two.”
He tore a few strands of hair off her head, but that wasn’t enough to satisfy him. His face distorted hideously.
“Your parents are fallen nobles, right? They lost a power struggle and were driven into a remote area like this. That’s why you transferred here halfway through the school year. Am I wrong?”
“……!”
She glared at Harris with all the hate she could muster, but Harris paid no attention as he continued,
“At this rate, neither of your parents will be able to get a decent job, so you decided that you’re going to do your best and enter the Magic Knights, right? …….What a foolish brat you are. You can’t crawl your way up from a sub-par school like this one!
“You bastard……!”
Magna couldn’t bear standing by and doing nothing, so he was about to move, but Yami gave him a look that kept him in check. Allison’s snark was now gone, and she was now staring at her feet as she endured Harris’s verbal abuse.
“Well, you were such a try-hard that you even helped me organize my documents, so I appreciate that side of you. But, too bad. Even if you did all that, it’s not going to be showing up on your report card!”
“Shut up al-
“I’m fine with that. To be honest, when I did that, I secretly looked at those documents so that I could study. That’s how I knew that a Magic Knight was coming to teach today.”
The same time Magna started yelling, Allison admitted this as she looked at Yami. All the anger disappeared from her face, replaced with……
“Also, you talk too much. Thanks to you going on and on, everything’s ready.”
……A sneer.
“……Huh? Ready, you say?”
“Yes. Did you really think I would face off against you without a plan, Harris-sensei?”
She spoke as if to punctuate every word she uttered, causing the color to drain from Harris’s face.
“……What? What did you do!?”
“Look at your feet. They look like they’ll burn up at any moment now.”
Harris did as she said and looked down. At that moment,
“That was a lie.”
She used the gap she created to slip out from his hands,
“This is legit, though.”
SLAM
Yami closed in on Harris at tremendous speed and struck Harris in the face with a lariat of dreadful momentum.
“Gah!”
Before he even had time to defend himself, Harris was struck by Yami’s attack and bounced off the ground.
“Flame Rope Solid Binding Formation!!”
“Ggh!”
This time, Harris’s entire body was bound in Magna’s restraining magic.
“You damn spy! Doin’ terrible things to “the young three leaf clovers that will carry the future of this country”. I hope you’re ready to have just as terrible things done to you!”
“Magna, don’t shake him up too much. There’s an order to these things.”
Yami kicked Harris as he said this and then rushed over to Allison.
“You alright?”
“I’m fine…… though, it was a bit scarier than I was expecting.”
She sank to the floor, replying with a wry smile as her hands continued to tremble.
“Is that so……? Well, good job toughin’ it out through a scary situation like that. That was a nice feint you gave him.”
Magna was about to move, but Yami gave him a look that stopped him dead in his tracks. Then, Yami noticed that Allison was staring at her feet, occasionally glancing up at him as if she had something she wanted to tell him.
“The amount of eye-contact you’re makin’ is also perfect. After all, there are some things that can only be understood maiden to maiden.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about, but…… I’m glad everything turned out okay.”
Allison saw Yami and Magna sending signals to each other with their eyes, so she was trying to imitate that. She just wanted to get them to do something with her eyes.
Reading someone else’s eyes accurately and putting it into action at the perfect time – that had absolutely nothing to do with being maiden. She chalked it up to just another of Yami’s oddities.
“Well, anyway, you did a great job. We won with our maiden powers.”
“……Yeah.”
As usual, she had no idea what he was talking about, but it felt good when he put his hand on her head, so she smiled.
“……So, how’s our little spy who was leakin’ private information to other kingdoms? You dead?”
“He’s still kickin’! Should I finish him off!?”
Yami left Allison to Sheila and lumbered his way toward Harris.
“……Shit……Shit! I can’t believe I got caught by a bunch of clowns……….”
Harris was barely conscious, incoherently muttering to himself. Of course, given the state of his jawbone, it would be hard for anybody to speak clearly.
“You’re the clown here, though.”
Yami grabbed Harris’s head and lifted it up to his own.
“!!”
Yami then released a ridiculous amount of mana from his body. This mana was much sharper and heavier than the mana he was releasing when he fought the students. They simply weren’t comparable. Its sheer volume and density were overwhelmingly coercive.
“E-eek!”
Exposed to such a concentrated amount of mana, Harris trembled with fear. The students shivered as well. They could only imagine what Harris was feeling at this moment.
‘So this overwhelming feeling is Yami’s – is a Captain of the Magic Knight’s – true power……!’
“The only ones decidin’ what these kids will become when they grow up is the kids themselves. There’s not a single thing you can decide for them. Next time you go off spoutin’ nonsense like that, I’ll really give you somethin’ to cry about.”
“……I…… I’m……. sorry………”
That was all Harris could muster before losing consciousness.
“So, the truth is, we were dispatched here to look for the spy that snuck his way in here. Sorry for gettin’ you all rolled up in all this.”
They already had Harris escorted to the Magic Knights Headquarters.
After they all returned to the classroom, Magna and Yami bowed once more.
“……I mean…… even if you apologize for all this…….”
“……Yeah. I’m not really sure how to react to it all……..”
Elude’s followers said as the rest of the class made a stir. Two people who were supposed to be guest lectures were actually here to investigate a spy, who turned out to be their homeroom teacher, who ended up getting escorted away by other Magic Knights……. That was a lot to take in. It was no wonder that they reacted like this.
“Well, fortunately, there’s nothing to suggest that that Harris bastard was givin’ you guys any weird lessons to gather information for him, and the guys comin’ from headquarters are the ones who will have to deal with the aftermath, so life will return to normal for you guys soon. You’ll be better off writin’ this day off as just a little weirder lesson than usual and worryin’ about what you’re havin’ for dinner.”
‘That’s a lighthearted way to look at it……’  Allison thought, but, admittedly, it was not something they needed to think deeply about. She won’t be able to ignore what happened today as much as Yami suggested, but it might actually be better not to dwell on it.
“That said, it was completely our fault that you all got caught up in this mess. I shouldn’t have gone for the more ‘interesting’ way of…… No, I was being negligent. Sorry.”
‘He basically admitted it out loud…..’ they all thought. Well, it wasn’t as if they sustained any injuries from the ordeal. It was certainly a scary experience for them, but it wasn’t traumatizing or anything. As they continue living their day-to-day lives, the events of today will gradually fade into a distant memory.
“I should apologize to you in particular, Allison. After all, you were used as a hostage. I’m truly sorry about that. Are your wounds okay?”
“……I’m fine. This is nothing. This can hardly be considered a scratch. In fact, I’m honestly happy that I got to experience something out of the ordinary today, so I’ll forgive you……. But, if you feel that guilty about it, I wouldn’t mind getting a little compensation.”
“HUUUH!? Don’t get cocky on us just because we were being humble for a few seconds! Actually, even from the start, I haven’t liked the way you talk to Yami-san!!”
Yami iron clawed Magna and said,
“Yeah, sure. I think you’ll probably get a reward later since you contributed to that spy’s arrest. I’m sure everyone here will be seein’ some rewards later.”
The idea of earning some cold hard cash caused everyone to start grinning.
“Well, I’ll also talk to the other Magic Knight Captains and get somebody who can give you guys a more proper lesson. I’m sure Fuegoleon would-
“But we like you guys, Yami-sensei! Magna-sensei!”
Allison blurted out before Yami could finish his sentence.
“If we’re going to have more guest lecturers, I want it to be you guys!”
“M-me too! I want it to be you guys!”
Shiela readily agreed. Elude, too, raised his hand as he agreed.
“…..Well, I guess I’d like it to be you guys, too.”
“Me too!”
“Your lessons were scary, but they were fun! Please come here again!”
Finally, after Elude’s two followers joined in……
“It felt so awesome when we finally landed an attack on you, Yami-sensei!”
“Leave out the marathon next time, though!”
“What? We hardly ever do marathons like that, so I thought it was kind of fun!”
“The next time you come here, bring some of your other squad members!”
“Yeah! I want to see what they’re like!”
The rest of the class joined in too. Hearing all this and seeing the smiles on their faces, Yami couldn’t help but smile a bit.
“……Well, I’ll think about it.”
After that, the rest of the day passed very quickly. They had a normal Q&A session while they had lunch. In the middle of their lunch break, some staff from headquarters came to handle the aftermath of the case. After handing things off to them, Yami’s and Magna’s mission was now complete.
“……Oh, also, I think you guys are misunderstanding something about the Magic Knights. There’s plenty of people from the Common Realm in the Magic Knights.”
Just before he left to return home, Yami stopped at the exit and said as if he just remembered,
“Actually, Magna here’s a peasant.”
“Yup! I’m from Rayaka village!”
“What!?”
“Hell, I’m not even from this country.”
“WHAT!?”
Having revealed these facts at the very end, he left the classroom in as much of an uproar as when he arrived. Allison, too, couldn’t help but hang her mouth open in shock. They certainly didn’t look like nobles or royalty, but to think they were a peasant + foreigner combination…… and this peasant and foreigner were actively fighting on the front lines of the Magic Knights.
“And so, you all don’t need to be so self-conscious about comin’ from a magic academy at the edge of the Common Realm.”
Yami looked at all their shocked faces before finally landing his eyes on Allison.
“That’s why attackin’ things head on isn’t so bad now and then. Not that I would know.”
“………!!”
The Magic Knights are an army of mages under the direct control of the Wizard King. They are an autonomous organization within Clover Kingdom, the kingdom’s cornerstone of defense, and the heroes whom the nation’s citizens both honor and envy. Maybe even they will be able to become one someday. By the end of the day, their image of the Magic Knights had changed in this way.
“…...Well, do your best.”
The two who were responsible for this change left the classroom……
“……No, think about it!”
…….Well, just when the students thought they were gone, they lumbered back in.
“We’re supposed to be their teachers for the day, so we still have fifth and sixth period left.”
“!!”
They had just regained their peace of mind, but now the students’ faces were filled with fear.
“And so, I’m goin’ to make good use of those last two class periods.”
BAM
Magna slammed his bat against the floor and Yami had a ferocious smile on his face, making all the students shiver with tremendous speed.
“Shall we do it? Our special Q&A session?”
“HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!?”
“Come at us!!”
With that, a fifth and sixth period class where they absolutely had to land their attacks began.
--- Your Dream Will Come True: The End ---
I guess Fuegoleon was right. Yami’s a pretty good teacher in his own way. His special Q&A session reminded me a lot of Korosensei’s lessons from Assassination Classroom. Nothing to raise your students’ confidence like challenging them to land an attack on you.
Although, those students are going to come home very, very tired after a full day of Yami.
Only one chapter that wasn’t animated left, and that chapter features Noelle!

A guide to Tech Witchcraft
Hello lovelies this has been something in which has been requested or talked about among my students on discord, so i wanted to make a guide covering all the information and decided to share it to the public of fellow witches , this is a brief introduction on tech witchcraft an the direction it is going now!
Tumblr media
Technology and Witchcraft: A Guide to Techno Witchcraft
Introduction
With the day of age we now live, we go to a point where we are experiencing so much progression in the ways things are done, in our day to day life. Witchcraft is no expectation to this rule as witchcraft is constantly formatting and changing everyday through new age magic, While there is still much work to be done, There are some wonderful formulas in which you can use to boost your work through the power of electricity.
On top of the concepts of technology witches I will also be going over apps in which I enjoy and use, in which can help you with your witchy needs How does it work? Well, To start off I think we need to go back and look at what exactly magic is in the first place. Typically magic explains the manipulation and manifestation of energy through oneself and one's mind. It can be used to content with the conscious and subconscious mind.
It is idealistically all witchcraft leads to a goal typically under these things , however are also not limited to: 1) self improvement
2) to connect to the divine
3) to keep or follow a pre existing or new traditions/ lifestyle
4) Healing
5) Banishing
Now keeping this in mind , the tools of magic we use work because they are stored with intent and energy.  All items are charged with energy from one self or divine energy as well. Any items we chose to work with will have energy and intent. Money does not really matter in the situation as long as you can get creative.
However this in mind there are correspondences with the elements In western culture the elements include: Air, Fire, Earth, Water and Spirit
In Eastern Culture the elements include : Wood, Iron, Fire, Earth and Water
Correspondence plays about 40 percent of the magic in the situation as long as something matches with an element or deity , and you can put energy and intent in it, it could potentially work.
We can see the light used in smartphones, computer screens, and so on and so forward the element of fire. In the early days of Greece when we looked at the elements:  Light, Fire, Soul and Temperature were all considered things of fire, if something was warm ( such as the human body) it would be associated with fire.
For example:
Typically this is how one of the concepts of medicine started with human temperature, if a person was too hot , they needed water and earth to balance it out ( water and food) so using it in this retrospect works with the light being warm and as well as bright like a torch or flashlight.  Often when a phone uses a lot of energy or a computer when gaming it also gets warm due to all the energy in which is needed.
Now in terms of Eastern Retrospect, the Metal element represents human advancements and Technology, the original concept was the “ Age of Iron” which was a time of building, machines etc. The Metal element shows the progression in humanity and the ability to create and go. In the Chinese Zodiac this is often empathized with the concept of the Metal Element being referred to as the “ Gold” element.  Gold was typically something used in royal buildings and statues as well as Jade. In terms of eastern retrospect
Gods of the Technological World
Now, you may be thinking what kind of god would be willing to work with you through a screen? How is it possible to talk to a deity through screens?
There are gods in which are gods of human communication. Typically they are gods who are associated very closely with the throat chakra. The throat chakra represents the ability to communicate and as you know there are a million and one ways to communicate , one way humanity communications with clothes is through technology. If you're one of the first people reading this you may be reading this through a computer screen!
It is also worth mentioning even if you do not practice reiki, plenty of elements in western lore and gods focus on the energy of communication and
It is amazing to think about how men and woman have made it possible for this to happen.
Who are the gods of communication?
Mercury
(Mercury is a god in which I work with who represents Communication. The first time he talked to me was through a you tube video pop up in fact! , is was quite a experience )
Hermes
This is Mercury's Greek counterpart. Hermes is the god of: Communication, Medicine Transportation, Advancements and Commerce.
Papa Legba
He is a Caribbean God in Haitian Vodou  which represents Communication Speech, and understanding
Al-Kutbay
A Nabataean god of Wisdom, Communication and Writing
Saraswati
The  Hindu goddess  of knowledge speech and creativity
 Benzaiten (Benten)
The Japanese god who is the Counterpart of Saraswati, She represents the way the universe flows, water, advancements in society such as : Music  , words, speech, knowledge etc
Nabu
A Babylonian god of wisdom and writing
Nidaba
A Sumerian goddess of communication writing, progression and learning
This is just to name a few of the major ones from different cultures.  There are many many more  They are all typically connected in some way with the throat chakra and throat energy systems that focus on communication  and advancements that humans make on earth
With that being said technology has become a part of our day to day lives, one of our main forms of communication and such. Many gods adapt and change as we do, they are the ones who help steer the wheel in the way we go with technology and also more than enough use the energy in which cellphones and computers  naturally generate to work with and manipulate if they need be.
The more and more we spend with items , our energy naturally ends up on the item, due to this we can fill items, apps etc with intent to help you manifest your energy and help you become the best you , now we can get into the question im sure you may have “how? “
First I will be going over some methods in which a closeted witch can use in replacement of items in which they may not be allowed to have at home due to the nervousness of being caught
Altars:
Pic Collage
Animals Crossing Towns and Houses
Playlist via Spottily, sound cloud or you tube
Draw Sigils Using IBS Paint / Procreate
ORAS Pokemon Secret Bases
A good way to manifest energy with pic collage and picture based altars are making them your wallpaper ! , and just spending time there meditating with your device and setting intention.
The Pros and Cons
Pros
With being able to draw , and spend personal time and energy allowed for more customization than store bought items, you are putting together the item from scratch which is beneficial. I find video games and such are easier to get your energy over and even  gives you more room for items : ex: getting actual gold bars in real life is thousands of dollars, for one offering to Pluto, however in animal crossing this becomes a reality.
Cons
It can be harder to get your energy on the items  if you are new to energy manifestation as well as conducting energy, you are also not able to touch your items, or use them in more direct spells: ex: pouring candle wax on items is impossible , being able to carve sigils in your items is also impossible as well as of right now.  However despite this there is in a way more customization, and not everyone uses their altar as a workspace, rather just a place of worship.
While not all gods are gods of communication, gods can still talk through technology however it could be difficult for them if there are not the right correspondences made in order to make communication.
Now there is an app coming soon called build an altar, and it could be a nice doorway for more customization  but for now we do not have that option!  the future looks bright however !
Even if you have a main altar at home, having a digital altar can be helpful on the go, if you're traveling and with friends or family!
Grimoires / Book of Shadows
There are few cons when looking at making a digital grimoire, if anything it can be a saving grace if your handwriting is awful or you prefer to do digital art.  You can easily transport your digital grimoire  on any device and you can also prevent page loss and also it is easier to edit. Some Apps for Grimoires Include :
Google Docs
Word Press
Notes App
Pro-create
Lunar Diary
Tumblr ( you can make private / public books to share)
Twitter ( you can also make private blogs as well
You can also put them on a USB when you're done to carry it around and share  , and even divide information like it  pro-tip: Draw Small Sigils with Sharpies for protection / binding spells
Cons
One thing to consider on this method is  this method: some people feel as if using ink is better for sealing and writing spells as well, and it is more personal with adding energy/ easier to put in energy to your grimoire as well as making binding spells to protect your grimoire, however it all comes down to personal taste nor is it impossible to make a binding spell for your grimoire either.
Witch Apps
Even if technology is not your thing here are some helpful apps in which can help you with your journey
( TOOLS)
Labyrinthos
This is an app in which you can use for learning tarot, it does an extraordinary  job with correspondence meetings and has small quizzes and is set up like a small academy in which to help you
Golden Thread Tarot
Golden thread Tarot Deck is a Tarot App in which you can do your daily tarot and do tarot readings and also has spreads and such you can use too. Golden Thread Tarot also sells their own decks which are pricey however extremely beautiful and worth the money if you want a physical deck
Seventh Sphere
A app by Tina Gong focusing on Lenormand Tarot Divination
Since Lenormand is a newer form of tarot, and harder form of tarot, it has some meanings in which you could read the cards/ base your interpretations about.
Co-star
While this app does not have all the information in a natal chart  it is good to get a general look on your chart when looking at all of your planetary placings and have your chart on the go. There is also horoscopes and you can add and compare charts with your friends
My Moon Phases
This is a app used to track moon phases based on your location and shows percentages very good for using it if you want to know what types of moon magic you can use and how to celebrate and manifest accordingly

It helps you manifest your energy with professionals hypnotherapists and helps teach lessons on how to meditate and mindfulness. While there is a paid membership it is most certainly worth it for those who love meditation
 Calm
This is another guided meditation app in which i enjoy, it is cheaper and has more free features , it has nice calming music as well and is made to help rewind and relax
Down Dog
A free app for yoga with all different types of yoga in which can help heal and restore
Spell Work
Disclaimer
The biggest issue with being unable to do these is the manifestation of energy, it can take a longer period of time than in real life, until you figure out how to manifest through energy work through technology  some things can not be touched the same way, but i truly believe the soul has no bounds. Gods have made this possible by adapting over millions of years
Virdi Keep a online garden and water and care for your plants
Candle Apps
Some candle apps let you make color correspondences as well
IBS Paint
Draw sigils, runes and alchemy symbols and keep them in folders or use them for your grimoire
Mighty Timer / Timer Time your teas to let them cool down/ Steep!
Breathing exercises for meditation
Here you can also find more on you tube as well! , One of my favorite hypnotherapist is Micheal Sealy
Another hypnotherapist i have tend to love recently is Liza and her work can be found here
Hypnosis and meditation are steps in the right direction for shadow work and becoming your higher self  using guided meditations rather free or paid for can show a lot of progress and can be used to heal!
Pins Help manifest your goals by putting them collectively together in a vision board you can also use these for altars and such, making them your wallpaper or printing them out can help you manifest your greenery.  consider meditating in front of your vision boards while working with intent for good results
There are so many more ways you can personalize your craft and be a tech witch, This is a wonderful place to start though and i hope you were able to take away from it
Thank you for checking out my guide and I hope it can teach you something ! :D

VEDIKA MUKTI / 30 YEARS OLD / POLICE OFFICER AT ECHO VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT / EASTCLIFFE
FULL NAME:
Vedika “Veda” Priyanka Mukti
BIRTHDAY:
23 March, 1987
SPECIES:
Black Mataku
AREA OF RESIDENCE:
Lives alone in an apartment in Eastcliffe
BIOGRAPHY: (tw:  trigger, trigger)
Vedika was the middle of three wild daughters who from their very first steps were responsible for every grey hair on the heads of their parents and all their extended family. She and Anandi and Maina crashed through their childhood home in the mountains of Nepal like feral creatures, leaving destruction in their wake wherever they went. Their grandparents and aunties and uncles, of which there were many, used to tut and shake their heads, and their parents used to try and make them behave with stories of monsters coming in the night to gobble up bad children. But the girls seemed to already know their own power, and they weren’t afraid… Perhaps they should have been.
Sometime in their youth, the girls all awoke at the same time in the middle of the night, and without speaking made their way out into the mountainous wilderness together until they reached a dark and winding cave. Within, they met Banjhākri & Banjhākrini, a wedded pair of demons who were notorious for devouring mischievous children. But they wanted something else from the triplets that night… The girls were put through rigorous magical testing, for not only are the Banjhākri demons, but also powerful shamans of the highest order- gods in fearsome form. Night after night the girls returned to the cave silently in the dead of night, and each night their testing was inconclusive. It was hard to determine the value of the triplets- individually they each had their flaws- inhibition, indecisiveness, recklessness… but together… oh the three of them were possibly one of the most promising magical forces they had seen. Finally, the demon gods agreed to assess their powers in a few years, when they had more fully developed… They were warned that their final tests would be much more difficult…
Shortly thereafter, their parents chose (for their own good) to move them from their beloved village in the dense wilderness, to a girl’s academy in Scandinavia, which specialized in the teaching of young women with magical potential. The girls protested, as they knew the dangers of abandoning their training with the Banjhākri, but numerous plots to run away from home were foiled, and soon they had no choice but to leave. Each mile of distance maddened them, to the point that they were like uncaged animals at school. They each felt a driving need during their studies there to return to Nepal, to the cave of the demons. And as a result of their restlessness, they often misbehaved and in fact ruled over the other girls at the school with a sort of gang of delinquents. Chief among them was none other than Vedika herself, notorious for crafting a weapon out of anything, and a penchant for sneaking out after hours which was strictly forbidden. There wasn’t a single professor that could match her, magical though they were, and she often found herself in the Headmistress’s office for private and mandatory lessons in control and restraint. But in the end, the great Lady of the school only managed to put a pretty wrapper around Veda’s ambition. A cage that a tiger can walk freely in and out of is still a cage after all…
Regardless, Anandi, Vedika, and Maina all completed their training together with quite promising marks, and a delinquency report longer than their arms. The second they were free of the place, they all returned to their village, to the cave, where Banjhākri & Banjhākrini were impatiently waiting. Here…the sisters learned their lesson about recklessness… Of the two survivors, neither of them could explain exactly what went wrong with their final test, just that the youngest of them, Maina, was devoured in front of them. And when they emerged they forgot so much more, all of their tests, and even what they encountered inside the cave. But the horrors of that faithful night still come to them in terrible vision… and Vedika emerged with something worse…
The scar the incident left on her mind has never ceased in swelling and irritating her already unstable psyche. Strange dreams that once haunted her in her early childhood have returned with a vengeance, and after the incident she often found herself sleepwalking… waking up in a place with no memory of how she’d gotten there, or what had happened in her unconscious state. Desperately, after years of wandering aimlessly she returned to the only other place she felt any sense of belonging- the Academy. She owes the Headmistress her life for so graciously taking her in, and upon evaluating her power and control making her the Deputy Headmistress, a position that came with responsibilities and distractions. It was her duty to discipline the very girls she counted herself among in her own school days- she roamed the halls at night and sent misbehaving girls back to their rooms. She saw to their protection and well-being every night, and taught them each day the values of discipline and restraint… for none knew better than she the potential consequences of faltering.
For years, she grew close to these girls and guarded them, and for a while she felt better, even though she still occasionally woke up in odd places. She felt removed enough from the demon’s influence that the nightmares didn’t feel as real as they had before, and she convinced herself that the sleepwalking came from her irregular schedule and the odd hours she kept for the sake of her girls. But she would quickly find that there was still very much for her to be fearful of in the night.
One evening, she woke to find herself standing in a cold, wet field, facing the east and the bloody red sunrise… and when she turned back, the Academy she had grown to love so dearly was engulfed in flames. She got most of them out, but a student and two professors succumbed to the smoke and flames… and what student of course but her most beloved… The cause of the fire was never determined, but afterwards Veda could not remain there, the charred halls brought back too many painful memories, and her grip on reality faltered. To escape, she moved again to the other side of the world, to an island her family often spoke of as a haven for magical folk such as her; Echo Valley. The place was instantly calming… a powerful forest stood testament to the potent magical forces there, forces she knew she could learn from, for the desire in her to be the best shaman she could had not faded, even after her vital lesson about control. As soon as she moved there she felt right again, comfortable, and she fell back into some of her old ways. Still a wild child, she sought every opportunity to display her power, and eventually landed a job with the local police department; most notably due to her reference from the Headmistress lauding her as a considerable security force, and her ability and willingness to take down any manner of perpetrator with efficient competence. She found her home among the other “Mataku” as they were called here, and was determined to continue her pursuit of knowledge and influence, making a home for herself alone in Eastcliffe with a considerable collection of grimoires.
But the nightmares followed her even here, and she only had a few nights of uninterrupted sleep before she started waking again to find herself in odd places, like the edge of the forest, or in the middle of the city in her nightgown. She chalked it up to moving so far from home, and from the new traumas she experienced across the globe. She felt safe here, her midnight visions of demons were certainly only dreams… surely nothing could follow her so far away… And then came the wildfire, in the forest… Vedika disappeared on the night the fire began… and even her coworkers on the police force have begun to doubt if she will ever emerge again… Despite their determination to find her, many are beginning to lose hope…
But… what’s this? Magic users along the forest’s edge have grown restless and uneasy with a sudden surge of magical energy and emotions… What could such a presence be, and why has it suddenly come into being where nothing was felt before?
Extra Details:
“Vedika” means ‘altar’, or ‘full of knowledge’. The eldest triplet is Anandi (which means ‘jovial’), and the youngest was Maina (which means ‘singing bird’). Their mother is named Nandita (meaning ‘cheerful’ or ‘happy’), and their father is Ravi (meaning ‘sun’). Their surname “Mukti” means ‘freedom from life and death’.
Vedika’s tattoos cover both her arms down to her hands, half of both legs, and her entire chest and back. She collected them in the years following Maina’s death, when she restlessly traveled around to different places both alone and in the company of her surviving sister, Anandi. Each piece has considerably meaning to her, but she has yet to speak of any of it to her acquaintances here. Those that ask about them often find themselves on the receiving end of a pointed glare, and as a result most that know her have learned to mind their own business. However, they only serve to further complicate the elaborate rumors about her past, and at this point she might be keeping their stories secret as a way to entertain herself.
Anandi is an airline stewardess that lives primarily out of London with her husband and their two children. Vedika still keeps in regular contact with her, but she hasn’t seen her sister or her niece and nephew in person for years.
Around her neck, Vedika always has a small glass vial which contains a pinch of black ash, and a small shard of bone. She doesn’t talk about it, and most of the time she doesn’t even acknowledge or seem to recognize its presence there, but the bone shard is Maina’s recovered from her cremation ceremony. She never takes it off, but she often touches it when thinking of her sister. It’s another one of those things she simply doesn’t talk about, and that people have learned not to ask about… not because she gets angry with them, but because any questions about it confuse her to such a degree that no one can get a straight answer out of her.
PERSONALITY:
Vedika has always been one of the most gossiped-about people wherever she goes, and her odd personality is the likely culprit in this. All at once, she can be brash and open- she will embrace strangers openly as her friends, and her vibrancy draws people of all kinds to her, a talent which suits both her line of work and her fiery demeanor. And at the same time, there is something cold and guarded about her, like a steel plate put into a wall. She can be very exacting and disciplinary when it comes to others putting themselves in harm’s way, that’s the nurturing school guard in her… And she has her secrets, in fact she’s likely told no one here about the earlier hardships of her life… But it’s obvious to anyone with a sense of these things that she has been touched by trauma and fear. She still acts out, even as a law enforcement officer, but they’re used to their reckless cops here and so she blends in more than she probably should. She’s gone back to being a bit reckless, although she’ll still reprimand others for the same, and she can be quick to anger or to act. She notoriously does not wait for backup when she should… She’s just very confident in her abilities and the level of control she’s managed thus far. Veda knows she can get herself out of nearly any dangerous situation she might encounter, and there is very little on this island that frightens her more than the storm of emotional confusion inside her own head. No one will hear her talk about the nightmares, or the sleepwalking, in fact she doesn’t talk much about herself at all. That, added to the fact that she is utterly covered in intricate tattoos have led some to believe that she’s in Echo Valley to escape a notorious East Asian crime syndicate, and she laughs along with these stories and others that people have come up with about her. She’s more than content to be mysterious, for she has often found that fear and respect go hand in hand.
