"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
—John Keating on Dead Poets Society, by Nancy H. Kleinbaum.

Ulysses S. Grant’s soldiers have removed the church pews and placed them under the trees; staff officers gather around to discuss the situation.
In the background are rows of horse-drawn baggage wagons and ambulances transporting supplies for the next day’s engagement and the wounded to field hospitals. In the foreground General Grant bends over a pew and looks over his shoulder at a large map held in the lap of General George Meade, head of the Army of the Potomac. by: Timothy H. O'Sullivan

Hamster and Gretel theme opinion:
So far the Hamster and Gretel theme song has actually grown on me.
Sure the Lyrics are kinda boring and cliche compared to the other stuff Dan, his music writers, and outside help have pumped out (especially the other shows’ theme songs), but the tune is pretty catchy and the instrumental especially sounds RAD!
Although, I really don’t think Dan’s voice is right for the lead vocals of this theme at all. Don’t get me wrong he’s a great vocalist, but it really just does not fit (just like how Danny Jacob’s voice would not fit as the lead vocal either). I feel like they could have gotten so many other professional vocalists too, especially ones with a lot smoother voices and enough intensity to fit the Jazzy-Rock instrumental.
Maybe Randy Crenshaw, Olivia Olson, or a male/female duo?
Also the wiki lists Aaron Daniel Jacob as the only performer/main performer. he might be a vocalist in it, but I’m listening to some of his music right now and the theme song vocals sound nothing like him. That is 100% Dan.
