Post PMF 2017

~wild things, alessia cara~

currently half tucked in bed, with my laptop on my lappy and listening to alessia’s amazing vocals and with the fan facing towards us. yes, it’s an ‘us’, MY FREAKING SISTER IS HERE! She’s been here for the past three weeks now i think and it’s been amazing!!!! she got here on my first day exam free of winter quarter and has been here since. went to ny for spring break. had an AMAZING food venture, going to all parts of new york. tried otafuku, boba guys, bibble and sip, pokeworks, rainbow bagel, korean food, japanese food, endless matcha and just endless food. roughly $300 bucks for a 4 days trips with my sister. ah-ma-zing.

right now im here, post philadelphia malaysian night 2017. they had the mamak, kopitiam and bazar concept which was fantastic and outta this world! (food wise hehe) had 2 servings of laksa, 2 of rending, 2 rolls of roti jala, kuih ketayap, buah melaka, FREAKING KEROPOK LEKOR and milooo ahhhh so goooddddd.

it was sooo good and having her by my side made everything twice as memorable. loved every single moment of it. i saw a lot of people and just like she said, skimmed through the guys and rejected all those that have girlfriends HAHAHA. yeah, im in that stage where im looking for my other half. where are you?!! but until then, i’m just gonna cherish the companion gifted upon my sister HAHAHHA. bubbye loves

We call him frenche* (part 1)

Jadi berawal dari satu dan lain hal, akhirnya gue milih buat meng-install suatu aplikasi yang bikin gue ketemu sama banyak foreigner friends gitu. Nah, jadi dulu sih tujuan awalnya apaan ya kayanya karena pengen improve my English sih terus abis gitu lupa dah tuh kan ya, jadi niatnya beda gegara ada liat orang korea cakep wkwkwwkwk

Ga pernah juga sih mempermasalahkan orangnya gimana-gimana-gimana atau gimana karena memang niatnya kan mau belajar bahasa Inggris aja biar lebih berani buat practice speaking, tapi ya pas liat orang dengan profil dari negara-negara tertentu niatnya jadi beda *tetep ini mah*. Iya beda, beda karena mikirnya ya siapa tau aja gitu kan ya pas suatu hari nanti gue berkunjung gitu ke negara mereka cuma sebatas buat main apa jalan-jalan jadi ya udah ga repot karena udah ada kenalan jadi ya macam itung-itung bisa menekan budget karena udah punya temen orang sana jadi gue ga usah mikir buat bayar tour guide wkwkwkwkwkwk. *inimah cerita Korea~*

Sampai suatu ketika jeng-jeng-jeng~ gue banyaknya dicuekin jadi yaudah sih ah batin gue bilang “orang baik mah masih banyak banget da beneran, mantan gue aja baiknya luar biasa kok” hahahha *ga penting*. Akhirnya sudah lupa nah tuh sama korea-koreaan itu dah tu ya.... Lupaaaa....luupaaaa....LUUUUPPPAAAAAAAA~~~~~~~~~

Makin sini makin sini jadi kenal sama banyak orang tapi ya yang jadi temen beneran yang emang gue rasa layak buat dijadiin temen ya beberapa aja sih gitu ga begitu banyak juga. Mungkin sampe hari ini yang bener-bener komunikasi masih terjalin dengan baik dan kitanya sama-sama baik ya cuma sekitar 5 orang aja, yang spesial pake telor mah tetep sih satu orang doang <3

Suatu hari, gue di buzz “hi” dengan seseorang berkebangsaan perancisssssss “uuwwwwooooooooooo” ya bahagia mah pasti sih seneng ya itu negara ya kita mah tau sendiri kaya apaan cantiknyaaaaa. Singkat cerita ada kali tu ya sebulanan ngobrol banyak sama dia pake aplikasi itu, ya dipikir-pikir ni orang ya baik juga sih sejauhnya kita ngobrol ya masih nyambung-nyambung aja ya masih baik-baik aja gitu dia juga ga rada “aneh” kaya kebanyakan orang yang sering gue ajak ngobrol gitu lho. Sampai suatu ketika ya kita memberanikan diri lah ya buat tukeran lineid gitu, nah dari situ jadi lebih sering deh tuh ngobrol.

Makin sering ngobrol-makin sering ngobrol pernah suatu ketika dia kan minta PAP kan ke gue, yaudah gue kirim tu foto tulisan gue karena gue emang kebetulan lagi nulis di tumblr waktu itu. Nah, yang bodornya gue kan emang lagi buka google translate kan ya, eh dia mah malah bilang gini “you use google translate??” abis itu dia ketawa ih kesel amat gedek bener da -_-. “What language do you use?” ya gue jawab aja “Indonesian”. Ya intinya setelah itu dia bilang kalo dia bisa bahasa obviously French, Russian, Turkey, Italian and English. Karena udah gedek gue jawab iya-iya aja gitu ya males abisan gue diketawain coba -_-.

2 hari setelah itu, kita kaya ada debat ga penting gitu. Kayanya sih masalah gue kepleset ngomong “cold” jadi “could” terus masalah gue nanyain kabar ceweknya gimana gitu kan ya, eh tapi dia malah jadi emosi gitu -_- ga ngerti juga salahnya disebelah mana Ya Allah -_-. Eh tapi sebelum itu, karena kita kenalnya tu kaya pas bulan-bulan desember gitu ya kan pas winter jadi dia suka kirim-kirim foto winter disana gitu dulu wkwkwk. *yang ini bener-bener ga penting tapi ya mau aja sih diceritain ahahaha”. Okay, focus deeee!!! balik ke yang tadi. dia tu ya pernah ngirim gue foto cewek yang dimana dia juga bilang “when I call someone I would have been asked for permission to my girlfriend first. So does to you, she says okay” tapi yang aneh disini pas gue tanya lagi kan ya eh dia malah marah malah bilang ga punya cewe terus malah kirim foto lain eh ??? nah disini kaya ada yang mulai aneh sama bahasa Inggris nya dia deh -_-. Setelah perdebatan ga penting itu ya dia bilang “goodbye” eh gue panik setengah mati abis itu karena mikir abis bilang kaya gitu itu sama artinya kaya kita ga akan pernah ngobrol lagi gitu lho. karena, beberapa temen gue yang gue kenal mereka ga suka sih kalo ada temennya bilang goodbye karena itu tu kaya lo tu pamit buat ga akan pernah ketemu atau ngobrol lagi gitu sama dia. Karena disitu gue panik akhirnya ya gue ceritakan ya sama temen gue abang terbaik gue dia mah sih cuma bilang “apaan sih lebay, itu orang bahasanya aneh ya kayanya dia including the dumb one deh, where is he from?” “FRENCH” terus abis itu dia kaya yang shock gitu lho. “french?? are you sure adikkkk?? oh ghosh!!!!! how dumb you are?? don’t adik don’t ever know well about them... i hate frenchiiieeeeeee” gue mah masang tampang bego aja sih karena emang ga tau terus gue tanya dan blablablablablablabla~ akhirnya sih intinya karena emang satu alasan doang, gegara calon pacarnya noh dulu diambil sama orang perancis jadi dia kek benci banget gitu sama frenchee hahahahahahaha. Nah si abang ini kan bilang ya “yaudah sih tenang aja, si lebay bakal balik lagi dia cuma bilang mau pergi keluar karena ada kerjaan cuma bahasa dia aja ribet.” Afterwards ya gue biasa lagi aja cuma emang tu frenche satu ya ngilangnya lama gitu lho.

Akhirnya, setelah menghilang kurang lebih 2 mingguan lah dia nongol lagi gitu dengan tiba-tiba yang ngegombal dengan bahasa Inggris yang aneh, nah disitu tu ya gue bukannya seneng bukan malah yang ada jadi rada kesel malah mikir “ni orang ya apa banget gitu lho alay amat” -_-. ya karena gue mikir mungkin emang guenya aja sih yang ga nyampe sama omongan dia kali karena emang bahasa Inggris gue yang masih lemah jadi ya gue tanya ajalah lagi-lagi ke si Abang gue itu. Reaksi dia lagi-lagi ya dia tu ngakak sambil misuh-misuh kalo kata orang jawa tu. dan kata yang keluar cuma “the dumbaaasssssssss!!! well, you same as like him the dumb one.” eh dia mah katanya Abang tapi ya ngatain gue juga coba -_-. cuma positifnya yaudah sih ternyata anggapan dari omongan si frenche itu bener kan karena bahasa dia itu yang aneh itu lho. Dari situ sih gue yang masih mikir oh yaudah kesleo kali dia yaudah biarin aja, nah si komunikasi jadi lebih sering lagi dah tu kan eh suatu ketika ada lagi itu keanehan dari kata-kata “sunset” jadi “sun sink” “sure-sir” “very much-very soon” “lekas sembuh-take emergency healing” dan masih banyak lagi pokonya, kaya dari situ gue yang udah bener-bener illfill aja gitu sama dia bukan karena apa-apa sih karena bahasa dia yang agak aneh yang bikin gue yang masih lemah sama bahasa Inggris ini jadi berasa bego yang makin bego gitu lho. Dan Abang setuju banget sama gue sih, dan berkali-kali bahkan dia cuma bilang “yaudah jauhin, kaya ga bisa dapetin cowok normal aja” “lah emang abang pikir dia gila apa? -_-” “dia mah ga gila, elu yang gila” dan akhirnya cuma debat-debat ga jelas sama abang ry.
