Self-indulgent Swatchton AU where instead of blindly listening to that mysterious Mike at the phone Spamton would have talked about him for advice to the Addisons and other friends who would all have thought it's fishy that a stranger would contact him to offer their help with no more precision, so after thinking more and hesitating he wouldn't have picked up the phone the 2nd time it would have called. So he never any good sales and never was a "big shot" for a short moment, but at least he never went down nor went insane and alone

Back in present days during the game's events he would still look like an Addison and speak normally, but not work with them having understood through years that no matter how much he envied them and did want to be a salesman he wasn't good at that (a bit like Mile Wazowski in Monster University) and it was healthier to move on do other things. Sometimes he does have regrets about what could have happened if he had picked up that phone a second time, but at least he is not envious anymore (thought a bit annoyed if he stays with the Addisons too much) and since he had talked to his loved ones about that Mike but also about his feelings he actually kept secret from them in canon (hence why no one helped him) he would have been helped and reassured out if his big shot obsession. So he would have moved to the castle not as a successful rich guest but looking for a humble job since he still had to earn money another way now he wouldn't be his own boss, and to this day when the Lightners meet him he is an Addison-looking butler-dressed waiter at the Color Café working along his spouse Swatch. He didn't achieve his biggest passion dream, but he is happy and learnt to let go and at least having failed at being a salesman allowed him to meet his spouse and start a family which keeps his mind busy on other things everyday. He is a fun little NPC instead of a demented boss. Bonus if despite not being a shopkeeper he also tries to sell you pipis anyway because you never know. Depending if you accept or refuse you will earn a different reaction
