Here's a goofy HDG n Kid scenario: Kid REALLY wants juice boxes, cuz they've never gotten to actually try them. So HDG and Kid get some juice boxes and try them out. The next team meeting/briefing, HDG comes to the meeting with a juice box and everyone is either too scared to confused to ask him why he's legit going around drinking juice boxes now.

I completely support this.

Also consider: Kid wants a trampoline. (Maybe for a younger sibling or something.) HDG saves up and buys them one. (I'm picturing a boy, for the record.)

But. Well. HDG isn't going to just let him and sibling JUMP on it, not without testing to make sure it's safe not a waste of money.

HDG n Kid + Timeless = While hunting down John Rittenhouse, Garcia realizes he cannot kill this boy, and instead grabs him and takes him on board the ship and has to awkwardly care for this kid of a mega villain while John tries (and prolly fails) to Cope. So. Much. Angst potential. Course no doubt that it destroys the rest of the series. But I haven't watched that yet so :P
