Odysseus is a woodcarver. He made his marriage bed himself. I love the thought of him constantly working on projects and just walking in the woods seeing a couple logs and thinking "I can make something with this." Gifts for his beloved wife. Gifts for his loving mom and dad. And eventually gifts for his baby.

A rattle at first, but he'd probably get excited and already start making toys for him to play with when Tele gets older. Little animal figurines, tops, a swing, yo-yos, and more. (Yo-yos are from Greece! Or at least the first depictions are from there. I think it'd be funny if Odysseus was one to have a yo-yo often as this man always needs to be doing something. He's that guy that is always doing tricks.)

I really love the thought of him leaving toys behind for his little boy, and Telemachus keeps them because they were made for him by his DAD. It reminds him that he had one at some point. (There are the coming-of-age ceremonies, but there are probably things he could've kept.)

10 years later, Odysseus remembers the little wooden rattle of a dog he made for his son. Where one could easily seal the seeds inside yet open them when needed from the stomach and...Huh, that's an idea.

And thus the Trojan Horse was born.

His "Greatest Achievement" came from thoughts of his son.

genuinely sometimes i look at pictures of my mom when she was younger and i wish i was never born. el oh el.

someone in my complex has decided to dump all of his biking stuff onto my porch, blocking about 30% of it (and for context, everyone gets a porch so he has one of his own as well that he just doesnt want to use). its already been a while that he’s left it there, and i did leave a note like “hey hombre, please dont put your stuff on my porch that i’m paying for because it’s inconsiderate, but also because I use a ridiculous amount of spray paint + spray adhesives + dremeling out here and your bike is going to get overspray” but he still hasnt moved it 

i just hope he realizes that he has T-minus 48 hours to move his stuff off my porch before i go full sicko mode because after the year I’ve had im brimming with insanity to a psychopathic degree. i’m also brimming with the aforementioned spray adhesives and his bike seat is right there

Every time I see photos of my rich aunt on vacation in Hawaii (she goes every year) I'm just filled with this bitter rage that she didn't chip in anything to help pay for her brother's (my grandpa's) funeral and left it to us even though my entire family is on welfare and sometimes can't even afford to pay the electric bill. I don't know how to stop being mad at my wealthy aunts and uncles for just letting my grandmother flounder trying to survive on a pension with her son who is on disability. Like, I know they don't owe us anything but I just don't know how to stop being angry about it.

Chilling in bed thoughts

This year has just basically been the eerie realization that I am the most unhappy I have every been in my life, and I am basically doing nothing about it.

LIKE, literally, I am just waiting to die, and have been for the last 7+ years, but on top of that, the mental and physical health is slowly getting worse. And despite that.....????? NOPE, not getting out of this chair!

It’s important to recognize that I’m doing this so maybe by airing out my chilling thoughts, I can hold myself accountable to try and like.........make it better? Cause everything that I used to love to do makes me feel nothing and this loneliness is getting unbearable!! I need to get out and try things or make new friends or......something!!!!! AUGH!!!!!!!

I have been trying to attend to some things and making sure I do basic hygiene and also getting back into exercising regularly, so maybe there is hope yet. I just need to keep on trying, no matter what :)

#though I will say this: the wrong kid died. and NO I will not elaborate unless I get paid big bucks $$$ #but yeah. the bleakness of the near future is scaring me and Im just like hhhahahahahaaahaahahaahha I wish I could just die #but that is not a solution #hopefully I can get therapy in the near future but that will have to wait for now cause no insurance to pay for it and my shitty home life- #-will basically mitigate any benefits from it me thinks. also I am not allowed to take meds for mental health things according to dad so - #-YEAH. truly cant get over the fact my parents just said this is my regular neurotypical child who only wants to wear the same fairy outfit (complete with wings) every single day, refuses to put their shoes on in the snow because they don't feel cold but won't leave the house if "the sun is too bright", hates to be touched, has dramatically above average literacy but underdeveloped motor skills compared to their peers, only has one friend, wants to watch the same film every single day, will only own items that are purple, collects teabags, draws pictures of the virgin mary over and over in their free time, has earthshattering tantrums at the supermarket for no reason, cries because of the smell of a yoghurt, takes literally 90 minutes to finish a meal at school etc. like that was so brave of them.....
