Being well mannered is such a beautiful quality. those that choose their words with consideration for the feelings of others. those that carry themselves with humility and modesty. it’s like elegance spills from their mouth when they speak.
Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-hammi walhazani, wal’ajzi walkasali, walbukhli waljubni, wa dhala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijaal.
‘O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.’ (Sunan an-Nasa’I 5449)
"When a husband sees his wife obeying Allah, his eyes become comforted; and when a believing wife sees her husband obeying Allah, her eyes become comforted.
Thus, the righteous husband is a comfort to the eyes of his wife, the righteous wife comforts the eyes of her believing husband, and the good offspring comforts the eyes of their believing father, mother, and relatives."
In imitation of the Prophet ﷺ, Muslims are expected to be merciful, to bring good, and to seek the benefit of others - all others not wish them harm or rejoice in the evil that befalls them.
‘A'isha said she asked God’s messenger to tell her what prayers to say on lailat al-qadr if she knew which night it was, and he told her to say, “O God, Thou art forgiving and lovest forgiveness, so forgive me.”
