Hello everyone! It has been a while since I posted a new chapter of ‘The God with Many Names’, and this one tapped on a very personal side of my experiences during the pandemic.
I found this one to be so challenging to write this story on paper, because of my hesitation, but there is beauty in writing your pain here 🥺
So please enjoy a super personal chapter of Mayonaka’s life here.
Sending light and peace for those who are struggling with that feeling of loss, may it be easier at every step 🥺
Anime of the day: Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi
Alt title: Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon
Released: 2020
Best part about this anime: getting to see the OG Inuyasha character again. Worst part about this anime: literally everything else. Inyuasha is so nostalgic to me. I remember watching it before going to school in the mornings, and there is so much of its music on my playlists. So, when it came time to watch Yashahime, I just assumed it would be on par with classic Inuyasha. I was let down. It was my bad…. I should have done my research… Either way, this anime focuses around Sesshoumaru’s kids, Towa and Setsuna. When they were younger they lived together in Feudal Japan, but they are separated by a fire and Towa ends up in modern-day Japan and is raised by Souta, Kagome’s brother. Eventually, she meets her cousin, Moroha, who is Inuyasha’s kid; and Setsuan, her twin sister who forgot about her…. So, Towa sets out to fix Setsuan’s memory.
