Jack is very clearly still in love, even ignoring the previous entries we've had from him. He's resigned himself to his fate. I was tempted to say this must have been torture for him, but reading this, I think he's actually quite content. I can imagine, from reading this, that he sat still and watched her with a loving smile on his face. He took in every detail he could and is storing them as a happy memory.

Also, remember Mina's diary in which she said a man should be able to watch a woman sleep before proposing marriage? I think we can treat this in the same way we're treating Mina. Mina and Jack are on the same page in Lucy's life. Very important, very beloved, but not her soulmate. That is reserved for Arthur.

12. What is something their S/O does that makes them flustered? Yes. Everything. Seriously though, Ethan stretching is a distraction for Adam every time, especially since Ethan wears well tailored and fitted clothes. It's that peak at arm and back muscles that are otherwise hidden under a button up shirt, just a little reminder of what Ethan looks like without clothes. Also Ethan is tall and lean so there's something cat like and maybe a little predatory when he stretches (he does have confidence and swagger) that also does things to Adam. Ethan is well aware of the effect his has.

For a long time, it's any kind of casual touch from Adam. He's very attractive and Ethan likes looking at him, but when Adam touches him, intentionally and with caring, Ethan just wants to melt and his heart does all sorts of things. I see Adam as not being big on PDA even after that sort through differences and so little comforting touches become a big part of their love language.

Oh dear, this got long. I shouldn't be surprised at myself at this point.

17. Who steals whose clothes? Does their significant other mind? Tough one because I don't think they wear the same size at all. Ethan could steal Adam's clothes, but does Adam have anything worth stealing? lol Ethan wouldn't be above stealing a sweater from Adam if he was cold it was laying around. Adam would act annoyed but then secretly enjoy that it smelled like Ethan and maybe put off washing it for a bit. I feel like it's rare though just because of their different tastes. The person in the warehouse who has to watch out is Nate because he and Ethan are about the same size and have very similar tastes. Ethan's always wanting to borrow something or ask where Nate got it.

20. Who handles the spiders? Who screams directions in the background? Ethan will handle the spiders if no one else is there but if Adam's available he makes him do it. Ethan won't run screaming but he's very likely to find a spider and go "I didn't see you, you didn't see me. Please be gone the next time I enter the room and we can pretend this never happened." Spiders are important but he would rather not, thanks. lol

49. Is there a word or gesture that makes either of them melt? They both enjoy a steady presence. The other one being close, but not touching, just in their space, can be very comforting. When they're alone, Adam will brush Ethan's hair out of his face and that makes Ethan appreciate what they have (once they finally get there...). For Adam, it's a gentle chin lift when Ethan wants to kiss him or get Adam to look into his eyes, which may or may not be because of some pouting before hand by Adam.

59. Is there a spot they tend to kiss or caress habitual? If no one else is around and they're sitting together not doing much of anything, Ethan will rest his hand on Adam's thigh and absently rub his thumb on it. He also does this if they're in the car together, he'll just reach over and pat Adam on the leg while he's driving and let his hand rest there for a few moments.

Adam likes to trace Ethan's collarbone. If Ethan is holding him and Adam's hands are pressed against his chest, eventually the fingertips will wander. Same with when they're laying in bed, facing each other and pressed close together. The best is when Adam stands behind him and puts a hand on Ethan's shoulder then starts running his fingers along his collarbone. He only does this when no one else is around and it's a sure fire way to get Ethan in bedroom shortly after. It's Adam's little "I'm in the mood if you are" signal.

we joke about them not hiding stuff a lot but in all seriousness, i love them for it and i think it really highlights that knowing spoilers doesn't actually spoil anything when the thing is written well in the first place
