Another ask I got asking for some hcs, so I talked a bit here

Honestly if you want any hcs about anyone in particular though, do ask! Maybe I can rattle off a few here (not queer hcs, ask me about individual characters for queer hcs, or ask me who I hc as certain genders/orientations) that I don't think I've talked about much...

Prince is left handed. His dualies, of course, are symetrical as weapons, but he had a long time habit of crossing them over wrong a lot of the time after rolling. Emperor had to nag him for a long time before he got it down correctly

Aviators's natural ink colour is a sparkling metallic amber

Avi and Omega had small crushes on each other as kids, but they never went anywhere

Red Sole is big into dramas and fashion and actors, she follows celebrities a lot

Double is a pretty good cook. So is Omega, but she grew up cooking a lot and now doesn't like doing it (eldest daughter moment)

Mask and Moon are friends from school. As I have VERY weird hcs on how school works in the splatoon universe (tldr: you can leave at 14 and most turfers are not in education or are in secondary education) this is more significant because they SPECIFICALLY both stayed on at school for longer than legally required. They joke that they're siblings

Army and Forge are step siblings, they also both went to boarding school together. Army's still in education, but he works entirely remotely. No idea how he keeps on top of everything

Skull and Avi were neighbours growing up

The guardians + Hive are descendants of a group of inklings and octolings who were neutral in the great turf wars, and thus were trusted to be guardians. Shellendorf worked with the inklings primarily, but was more of a neutral party (y'know how Sheldon was neutral in finalfest?). They're all sort of? related to each other distantly in a circle (so each one isn't related to each other one, and it's pretty distant anyway). Both Fierce and Justice are inktolings (Fierce being about 25% octoling and Justice being about 75% octoling

Vintage and Justice are also very distant cousins, but they don't really know that. Not Omega though, even though she's Vin's sister - they're half siblings, and share a mother. Their mother remarried before Omega was born, but Omega does keep some level of contact with her birth father, even though Vin's father is the one she grew up with.

Army's family were nobles during the great turf wars and held significant land and money at the time. They still have some local political influence, but not to the same extent

And finally, though a pretty underwhelming one: when it comes to sweet stuff, Vin's favourite flavour is almost always mint
