Isaac is most admired for appearing calm and observant in every situation. Most people around him envy the fact that he never seems afraid or worried. Isaac is aware of how they see him, but he wonders sometimes what would happen if they knew it wasn't true, that he was afraid more often than he'd like to admit.

Villain Whump
Day 8
“Just in case, you know?”
“I am not wearing that,” Villain hissed, clenching his fists in an attempt to hide his trembling fingers. He grits his teeth to hold back the please that wants to follow. Don’t be pathetic.
“Put it on,” Hero1 said impatiently. “You’re working with us either way.”
Villain heard one of the heroes crack their knuckles behind him and had to repress a shudder of fear. God, he wouldn’t survive another week in that cell. Everyone here knew it.
He took the collar in trembling hands, swallowing past the lump in his throat.
“Aww, Villain’s gonna cry,” One of the heroes sneered.
“What, you don’t like getting a taste of your own medicine?”
“Here, I’ll help you,” Hero3 took the collar from behind and yanked back on it before clicking it shut, cutting off Villain’s weak protest with a choked wheeze.
He jerked away from Hero3, skin prickling from the unwanted touch. A kick to his back sent him to the floor, breathing hard. The tile was cool and bruising against his cheek.
“F-fuck you,” he hissed, pulling his elbows underneath him.
“If you’re gonna act like an animal you deserve a collar, Villain.”
Villain shot what would have been a much more venomous glare if it weren’t for the tears in his eyes.
Day 10
“Fuck you, fuck all of you, your goddamn—AGK!”
“What, you think Superhero would even care if they found out?”
“Hypocrites,” Villain wheezed. “All of you.” He flinched—though it could hardly be discerned from the trembling—as Hero1 knelt in front of him. “Aren’t you supposed to help people?” He hissed.
“Oh, Villain,” Hero1 sneered. “You don’t think you count as a person, do you?”
Day 13
Villain shifted uncomfortably on his knees, wringing his shaking hands. His nerve endings felt frayed and prickly and his head throbbed.
Whenever any of the heroes passed by his eyes darted down and fear gripped his chest.
“Goddamn pathetic.”
Villain sucked in a breath, hands curling into fists against his thighs. Footsteps approached and Villain tensed, pressing his quivering lips into a thin line.
“Hm?” A hand gripped his jaw and made him meet the hero’s gaze. “Say it.”
Villain’s eyes widened. “I… I—”
A slap. It only stung a little, no more than the humiliating condescension that accompanied it.
“Tell me what you are.”
Hero1 raised the remote, thumbing the button. Villain’s head reeled with panic.
“I- I’m pathetic. I’m pathetic.”
The hero smirked. “Good boy.”

First Casablanca. It is black and white, slow paced. The scenes are simple and play well into the scenes.

The scene I chose is John Malkovich Goes Into His Own Head. The scene dictates John Malkovich’s inability to get away from himself. While people are in awe and wanting the experience he can’t get away from it quick enough.
The scene is set up well. It is a line of men wanting to be John Malkovich. These men were oversized much larger than the environment they were in. So he was bigger than life itself. There is a tunnel that leads into his mind and that’s where he discovers he cannot get away from himself.

A Trade- Chapter 9 Part 2
Trigger warning for this chapter: meds/pills mention, insomnia mention, and unspecified disorder mention (it would be similar to ADHD but no name is given)
I am going to be plain honest- I don’t have experience with ADHD or anything similar. I have known several people who have it, but I can’t know what it’s like even from their experiences. That being said, I felt that this was where I wanted Hero3′s character to go. Please feel free to correct me if I’m not writing this right- I’d love to learn in some small ways.
Maybe I’m just nervous to write something I don’t know very well, but I wanted to put it out there. Anyways, enjoy!

Medic didn’t respond. So Hero3 sighed. “I can look after the kid some nights. You’re going to get yourself some sleep in the meantime, and no more of this caffeine sludge. You’re gonna kill yourself like this, you know that?”
Medic looked up at Hero3 for the first time. “Really? But, what about your sleep? I- I could probably–”
Hero3 had sighed. “It’s not like I have much better to do. You know how active I can get during the day, right?”
Medic did know; Hero3 had several prescriptions transferred to help with it.
Hero3 shifted uncomfortably. “I’ve gotten used to the stuff they’ve got me on, but it still kicks in at night. Before I switched over here, my doctor said the only solution was some other thing, another pill. I told her hell no, and she dropped it. I don’t want to be on so much of this crap, so I just deal with it at night.”
Medic raised his eyebrows, making mental note of this. Though it sounded like Hero3 was alright, it was definitely shocking. Hero3 must have noticed, for he continued. “I feel like my body doesn’t need that much. No matter how long I plan to sleep, I’m up after a few hours, maybe six. Sometimes I can’t sleep at all, so I just hang out somewhere until morning and get a few more hours the next night.”
Hero3’s lips jerked up into a smile. “I probably should’ve told you that. We’ve been working together for a long while now, it just–” he broke off suddenly, “You know how I feel about doctors and appointments and all that.”
And Medic did know. Hero3 had been extremely nervous to meet him, and one of the first things he’d told Medic was that he was extremely avoidant of doctors, their offices, and the appointments within them, unless he was dying. Over the course of several years (and a few notable room structure changes), he’d managed to make Hero3 feel a little more comfortable around the medbay, though he was still noticeably tense at his yearly checkups.
Medic nodded. “I understand, Hero3, don’t worry. I do know it must have been difficult to find the time to bring it up without prolonging anything overall. Thank you for telling me, though.”
Hero3’s forced smile relaxed into something more genuine at those words.
“As for your suggestion, if you truly don’t mind, I would very much appreciate your help,” Medic said. He tried not to let the relief flood his voice, not wanting Hero3 to feel obligated. “If you want, could you cover for me tonight? I can show you what to do.”
And so, Medic had walked Hero3 through how the nights usually went. At the end, Hero3 was frowning. “I don’t mind being up, but… I’m not going to be sitting around in your chair all night. You understand, right?”
Medic could have slapped himself. Of course not. Being absolutely silent and still was definitely not going to happen, at least not all night. Maybe I do need that sleep, he admitted to himself.
So, he’d given Hero3 some basic night tasks, mostly shelving medication bottles and some organizing that would keep his body and mind occupied throughout the night.
Hero3 had latched onto those jobs. Eventually, Medic would catch him coming in at all hours of the night and morning, even on days where Medic was watching over Villain, just to shelve or organize and clear his mind. Eventually, he had shelved and organized and cleaned almost everything, so Medic had slowly introduced him to some other tasks, open to Hero3 whenever he needed to calm down. Pulling outdates. Searching for damaged pills, though only in one or two sections at a time. Counting the medications. Flagging anything that needed reordering.
They’d worked themselves into a rhythm, working together in silence, medbay slippers hush-hushing over the floor.
After three weeks of Medic and Hero3 watching over Villain, the nightmares stopped, or at least enough that all of them were able to sleep peacefully.
Eventually, the tradition had fizzled out, with Hero3 only coming in on bad days. Seeing him return to it now, Medic felt a guilty sense of relief. Now he knew what Hero3 was feeling.
“Yeah, you can do something. Outdates sound good?”
He held out the basket.
Hero3 took it.
They shuffled through the medbay in silence.

The GoPro HERO3 Black shut down after 1 hour 17 minutes whilst the GoPro HERO3+ Black shut down after 1 hour 30 minutes, giving us an extra 13 minutes of recording time. Like most media devices these days, the use of the built-in Wi-Fi is its Achilles' heel, so does the new battery make enough of a difference? We tested both cameras, recording from a full battery to flat with Wi-Fi switched ON, in 1080p 25 fps. The 1050mAh (3.885Wh) battery in the GoPro HERO3 Black has been updated to a slightly more powerful 1180mAh (4.37Wh) battery. Power To The People: The much criticised battery life of the GoPro HERO3 Black has been at least partially addressed on the GoPro HERO3+ Black. On top of the weight saving, GoPro has managed to implement some useful improvements to the case, such as larger ON/OFF, REC and Wi-Fi buttons, a less fiddly clasp, making it far easier to open and close with or without gloves, and a clearer view of the red tally lights on the camera, making it easier to see if you're recording.
Back on the scales, the GoPro HERO3+ Black comes in at 135 grams (4.76oz) compared to the GoPro HERO3 Black at 163 grams (5.75oz) when weighed with case, battery and a MircoSD card. Weight No More: GoPro has introduced a new thinner, slimmer and lighter outer case, to make the whole package more compact, contributing to the vast majority of the advertised weight saving. So where is the advertised 20% weight-saving coming from? As for weight, the 'naked' GoPro HERO3+ Black, with battery, tips the scales at 73 grams (2.58oz), 2 grams (0.07oz) lighter than to the GoPro HERO3 Black.
The only real giveaways are the '+' on the front, a new shaped lens, a slightly more tactile 'mode' button and the position of the microphones on the body. What are your thoughts? Let us know in a comment below.Getting Naked: The 'naked' GoPro HERO3+ Black is housed in a practically identical body to its predecessor, with the majority of the same external features of the GoPro HERO3 Black. Is it so much better than the Hero 3 that the Hero 3 is no longer worth using? No, not in my opinion. Is the new GoPro Hero 3+ better? Yes, clearly. Now is it worth an upgrade if you already have the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition? That is up for you to decide, personally I don’t think its worth running out to upgrade unless one of the improvements is something that you feel like you absolutely must have. So if that is a feature that is important to you then the new GoPro Hero 3+ would definitely make a good purchase in my mind. The Wifi performance on the new Hero 3+, while not quite as good as GoPro claimed, was still much much better than the old Hero 3 wifi. That is not to say the original GoPro Hero 3 Black looked bad, but in comparison I think it is safe to say that the Hero 3+ Black Edition is definitely an improvement. So, what did you think? Personally I thought the footage from the GoPro Hero 3+ Black looked better, had better sharpness and was overall much more pleasing to my eyes. The guys over at Rhino Camera Gear just released a new comparison video on YouTube where they took both cameras out side by side to really test them and see if the improvements made in the 3+ are really all that noticeable. The new Hero 3+ Black Edition boasted a smaller size, better Wifi, Better Battery Life, a New Lens, and several other features – but nothing that really jumped out at you as *THE* feature that makes it worth a $70 upgrade. Back when GoPro announced the new GoPro Hero 3+ model many were left wondering if the upgrades made to the camera were really worth upgrading from a Hero 3.
