Aquaman Villain Movie Ideas, Part III: Siren
Hila AKA Siren is the twin sister of Mera. Similar to Ocean Master, she is jealous of her sister, and often uses their resemblance in order to trick Aquaman in an attempt to kill him, steal him from her sister, other various villainous actions for varying motives. Kinda surprised she didn't get adapted for even a small background role in the Aquaman movies.
Origin Movie: I would think that the best way to use her in an origin movie is to have the movie be entirely Mera-centered, say with Aquaman already established as king and courting Mera, with Siren coming along to try and disrupt it.
Sequel Movie: This one would work best in a series where Mera is already established, possibly already even queen, and then lean into the long lost aspect of her character in her original incarnation, having been imprisoned for a serious crime and coming back for revenge.
Finale Movie: Maybe she's work as a finale villain if the entire trilogy has been very Mera-centric, possibly with a tension building between Atlantis and Xebel over the course of the entire series, breaking out in a full-on war.
Supporting Villain: Considering she and Ocean Master have very similar motivations, it's not hard to imagine them working together. That, or her boyfriend Kandor from her original appearance.
Here are my rankings:
Sequel Movie: Probably the best use of her character.
Origin Movie: A bit much going in, but still there.
Supporting Villain: There's a few ways we can go there.
Finale Movie: It's a bit of a stretch.
What do you think? Who should I cover next?

it's the way american leftists will insist on separating themselves from their government because, you know, a single governing force does not represent an entire country full of people with differing opinions. and then they absolutely refuse to apply that logic to non-western countries.
