Hey everyone, Hirbawi (located in Hebron, West Bank) is taking pre-orders on their next batch of keffiyehs! They'll ship as soon as the blockades are lifted, and all proceeds are going to Palestinian medical assistance.
As someone who has purchased multiple keffiyehs from the fine folks at Hirbawi over the years, I can't recommend them enough. The quality is insanely high, they're traditionally made, and you're supporting a Palestinian artisan instead of buying a mass-produced knockoff made elsewhere.

«I have so many questions about the Kaffiyah and there is so little information – an undeniable impact of cultural erasure. Our work directly challenges this and intends to revive and gather knowledge about the scarf.» – Fatme Elkadry (Weaving to Reclaim), September 2021

Got my Kufiya from Hirbawi today!
It arrived shockingly fast, and the texture is so beautiful and unique. Really happy I got mine, and also glad I was able to support them!
Hirbawi is, "the last and only Kufiya manufacturer in Palestine." If you want to show your support, I highly recommend checking them out!
Some lil tips from my experience ordering:
There's a lot of demand for their products rn, which is fantastic! But they are also a small company, so supply is struggling to keep up. Because of this, they had a strict one Kufiya per order policy when I ordered, to ensure more folks can order.
I highly recommend signing up for their restock email list! They sent out restock notifications via email well before their announcement on their Insta, which is how I was able to get mine. They also mentioned that they send out email notifs in waves so as not to overwhelm their site (it was overwhelmed anyway), so if you don't get an early email for one restock, please be patient, your turn will come!
I think they try to restock monthly(?), or at least semi-frequently. I missed quite a few restocks until I got my chance, but again, please have patience, we all want to support them and that's a good thing!
After I got my restock notif, I had a tab open to their site for maybe...four hours. *wince* Their site kept on crashing due to the number of people trying to access it. But I was patient, kept refreshing, and just focussed on one Kufiya, and was able to check out eventually.
They shipped all of their products to Germany, from where presumably most international orders were sent.
They warn that it may take 2-3 months to deliver, but I ordered mine on 2/1, and received it 2/26, so again, much faster than I was expecting!
Hope this info helps!
*This post is not sponsored in any way, I just want to help more folks who might be interested support this Palestinian business

Hallo, I hope you're well. I inquiring whether you know a place where I can get keffiyehs as soon as possible preferably in England? I would buy them from Hirbarwi but they are unable to ship them due to the blockade and aggression in Gaza, and as their verified partners are not particularly close to England, so it may incur additional costs. I'm quite apprehensive about purchasing it online due to some individuals posing as supporting Palestine, but turning out to be Z**nists, funneling the profits to the IOF. Your help is very appreciated. Thank you ♡
Hello! Thank you so much, and I hope the same for you as well. Hirbawi would have been my first recommendation, but due to high demand, many styles have been out of stock for a while, too. I hope that when they do re-stock, the blockade ends so many people can support them.
I'm also very wary of where I buy products unless I know they are supporters of Palestine or Palestinian-owned businesses, so I understand where you're coming from. Especially since zionists linger in every corner of the world. Palipunk reposted a thread on Palestinian businesses that we can support, and some of them are clothing and apparel shops/have items there. I haven't gone through those specifically yet because I'm hoping to purchase my Keffiyeh from Hirbawi, but if not, I will touch base about it soon. I have a collection of buttons I have on my bag from my university days that I carry with me.
Here is the post, and also the link to Hirbawi in case anyone is interested:
I sincerely hope you find something that works for you! You're definitely not obligated to check in about it. But if you do end up finding something, I'd love to hear about it. As always, Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Just a couple of disabled activist neighbors! And an opportunity to wear this Hirbawi kufiyah to show solidarity with Palestine and encourage each other. I am smiling in this moment, grateful for any and every action I can do.

No surprise. Keffiyehs were selling like hotcakes at the historic pro-Palestine rally in D.C. some weeks back. That money is likely not getting back to Palestine, as there's limited production capacity there, so these were likely made elsewhere. But the show of solidarity made up for it.
I love wearing keffiyehs and have done for years, made by Hirbawi in Hebron, the last keffiyeh factory in Palestine. Wearing them now is a much more political statement, of course, but it's one that I'm also happy to make. There's an occasional head nod or smile between keffiyeh wearers on the street that reinforces the feeling of manifesting support nonverbally but clearly.

If you want to support Palestinian businesses while also wearing a really cool scarf I suggest checking out Hirbawi! They make beautiful keffiyehs often representing different cities in Palestine like Gaza and Nablus. Stuff’s on pre-order now but you can get notifications for when they restock:

does anyone know of an online store where i can buy a keffiyeh that is palestinian owned?
i would love to buy one bc theyre so beautiful and i want to visually show my support for palestine, but everywhere i look theyre sold out (im so glad people are supporting, i just cant find one anywhere!!) or its like.. amazon and walmart. i really want to support a palestinian owned business and get a keffiyeh that was made respectfully and correctly, but the popular sites that ive seen like hirbawi are all sold out for the foreseeable future, and i dont know enough about the intricacies to trust my judgement on the quality and validity of ones on etsy
any help you can give would be awesome, thank you!

It's finally here! It's beautiful.
I got the Mediterranean style one because I believe in the kinship that unites all peoples of the Mediterranean Sea. That means a lot to me.
