Another thing I think about more then I should is that since Killer ate a smile fruit, the Kidd pirates have mimicked his laugh in order to make him feel better and less insecure about his laugh

The only thing that matters to me in the Wano dub is that they get Killer's laugh right. I dislike his dub voice anyways but I am begging that they either make his VA practice until everyone involved is absolutely a thousand fucking percent sure that it's perfect and if it isn't, I'm begging for them to just use the Japanese recording audio of the laugh or use a stand in who can actually do it.

Do you hear the absolute golden madness in this laugh ? How hysterical it sounds ? I know it's cynical for me to have absolutely 0 hope that they'll pull this off, but based on the VA's performance so far, I have my right to these doubts.

And no hate to his VA Leo Fabian at all, I am sure he's trying his absolute bestest, but I just don't think he was the right choice for Killer specifically. This is coming from a fan of the dub, who's dub voice I ironically can't stand is my favorite character in One Piece.

Just please, PLEASE, don't fuck it up. I don't want to have to skip the dub rewatch just because of this. Everyone else's voices are great so far and they actually impressed me with Kiku because usually, funimation has this thing they do where instead of getting a trans VA to do the the voice of a trans character, especially with trans women characters, they just have one of their cis male VA's do a high pitch, soft voice.
