She would receive the best knowledge through Maharishi Valmiki and the kids would attain the basic learning and knowledge in the best possible manner, while keeping aloof from the glitz and glamour of a princely life!

Finally they were tested too, both at the court of Shri Ram and in the war front when they stopped the Horse of the Ashv-Megh-Yagna.

So, in totality, Ayodhya received the best of king as Shri Ram and his sons Luv-Kush. It was well matched through Muni Vasisth as per the need of those times.
