Remember when I said I’d start posting soon but then disappeared for like several months (again lol)? WELL as I said a while ago I quit my job because the workplace was crumbling, and it got increasingly toxic to a point where I just couldn’t work anymore. I took a risk and decided to go back to school. I feel like I’ve been put through the ringer tho lately as I’ve hit a huge string of bad circumstances that have kept me from drawing as often as I want to 🥲 such as this morning where my Wacom tablet finally ate sht, so I can’t do digital drawing until I get it repaired. I’ll still try to share sketches and other things and get back into the groove of posting again hehe. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot to share rn and a lot of these are just sketches, some from 2020-2022 that I never posted.

literally the amount of fucking Shit madara just swallows and tolerates in order to found this gotdamn village .... like his brother dies. hashirama's brother is the one who killed him. the whole POINT for him in founding this village was to protect izuna but izuna is fucking Dead, his clan doesnt like him, he says so himself, there is no one for him to protect anymore .... he does all of this only for hashirama. he trusts him so deeply ... this gesture he makes, it is so special to him .. it means so so much to him and its the only thing tethering him to this idea of the village .. the idea of. life being worthwhile even maybe .. cuz u know. he was ready to leave his life there on the battlefield before. but then hashirama offers to end HIS life instead, for HIM ... its so insane .. it is so meaningful .. but i guess one person isnt enough to carry all this. if its only one person ... its doomed to all fall apart

but the point is that madara puts ALL THAT behind him. it is all in the past. the worst of the worst things (at that point ..) has happened, his brother has died, the senju are responsible .. but he STILL goes and swallows all this and he does not plan anything nefarious against tobirama either, he just lets him be ... like its so insane to me. he was ALREADY unsure abt this, from the moment on where he finds out his clan-name, he turns his back towards hashirama (as kids) and says that this isnt possible. their silly wonderful dream, it is over. there is no hope. and still ... still, he puts all of this to the side .. literally IMAGINE the amount of trust that u must put into a person to be able to do that .. it is Crazy to me. like MADARA out of everyone assfdgdgds. making this Huge of a step ... it is no wonder he didnt believe hashirama would stab him in the back later cuz. the Amount of trust that he put into him was so insane. he trusts him up until his very last breath, up until the moment his blade pierces his heart

i think it is also rlly interesting the way madara always projects his rage only onto hashirama ... like when izuna dies. and the clans meet on the battlefield again. madara goes apeshit but NOT at tobirama. his rage is very pointedly directed at hashirama .. even tho tobirama before asks him abt what has happened to izuna. madara says that he died from his injuries and then fires up his susanoo and attacks hashirama .. while screaming his name. like ... something something violence is an outlet for him and a way for him to make his feelings be heard and understood by the other party. and he wants hashirama to understand him. whether tobirama understands him or gets what is coming to him or whatever for killing his brother doesnt matter at all. all he wants is for hashirama to see his rage and his grief .. and understand what he feels
