Hey, just a quick and purely hypothetical question:

Let's say it's sometime in mid to late February. Which means that while there may be snow and ice, you know for sure that it is slowly beginning to melt.

Now, imagine that on your walk through a forest, you walk by a lake and see that it's entirely frozen over. And let's even say that you test its strength and it appears to be strong enough to carry you.

somehow, my "new entities theory" is making me sympathize for The Extiction.

i was thinking about a post I saw about how episode 8 seemed to have a LOT of characteristics of that one Extiction report, and I thought; "hey, what if the undoing of the Mass Ritual was what The Extiction needed to emerge? an apocalypse to be overcome, with the remaining population being forever marked?" and even though there isn't much evidence to THAT, oh buddy are there some possibilities to it.

imagine; you're the youngest of 14 siblings, all of you (along with your parent) are all elder gods of fear, and you're pretty new to all this. then all of the sudden someone does a ritual that pulls the 15 of you into the mortal world and causes the apocalypse and that's the whole thing you have power over! yay! but then your spider-loving older sibling tells one of the little humans they keep around to tear a hole in the universe and you get scattered all across the multiverse and when you land you're not with your siblings anymore????? you're with this strange new group of entities that apparently got scattered around like you and don't remember anything of where they came from and- oh. oh no. ohhhh fuck. those ARE them, they just got all mismatched and some do things that NONE of you did before. you're the only one left untouched. AND YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE RULING ENTITY HERE????? BUT YOU BARELY KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING?????? WHAT??????? and yet you have no choice but to accept your fate, completely unprepared, as your other older sibling's replacement.

Shadowbugs and...Fluffy Ponies (Oh Dear...)

Let's say, hypothetically speaking, Shadowbugs and Fluffy Ponies were in the same universe. Now, Fluffy Ponies are cute but essentially have glass bones and paper skin. On the contrary, Shadowbugs are incredibly strong creatures that sometimes forget how big they are and might be a bit too affectionate.

So, putting two and two together...This pairing would likely be a disaster whether it be from the Shadowbug accidentally squishing the poor Fluffy or said Fluffy getting a heart attack from seeing the "scawwy buggy munstah" (if they're anything like hamsters).

So yeah. Unless the bug is veryyyy careful, them and Fluffies won't mix. Especially since feral Shadowbugs would likely hunt and eat feral Fluffies (you know, being carnivores that are built to rip and tear flesh).

I must admit that it's a little difficult for me to comprehend exactly the experience you had in the computer, but based on your account, your concerns are certainly justified.

The first thing that comes to mind is Tron. Perhaps an upgrade to expand the program's base properties to include the monitoring of unauthorized User activity.
